Comment: Humble Handcraft delivers the goods! We brought in our Sprinter van and received a great bid for a custom one-off job, far below some other bigger names in the van unfitting world. Ryan, Spencer, and the entire crew then delivered with an amazing build that blew us away.We couldnt be happier with the finished product - it wasnt just what we wanted, it was more than we expected. From subtle finishing touches throughout to really keeping us in the loop the entire project, Ryan was the consummate professional but also an empathetic hand guiding us along. He never upsold or pushed anything upon us, but did make two suggestions that we are truly grateful for.Throughout the process, Ryan and team were true professionals. We had a contract they committed to, as did we, and stuck to it throughout. No bait-and-switch, no upselling, no strong-arm tactics. Pure professionalism from start to finish, with all details agreed upon beforehand (other than my two agreed upon additions - which Im so happy Ryan agreed to do for us). As I said: pure professionalism throughout.I cannot recommend Humble Handcraft enough. If youve shopped around and gotten bids elsewhere, you owe it to yourself to visit Humble Handcraft in Ventura. If you havent gotten other bids yet, you know where to go - Humble Handcraft is THE one stop-shop and youll know you got the best-of-the-best. THANK YOU RYAN!

Comment: I had Humble Handcraft partially build-out the inside of my 2016 Mercedes Metris, back in back in late Jan/early Feb, and they did an awesome job with it. All I wanted was for the walls and ceiling to be insulated and covered with wood paneling, as well as some other little installations like hooks in the ceilings to hang boards from and cubby holes in the rear doors, but Ryan and his team went above-and-beyond my expectations and returned my van built-out better than I could have hoped! They even made sure panel all of the little nooks and crannies that I never thought they would consider, which really put it over the edge for me.I worked directly with Ryan over email and in-person to lay out the design I was envisioning. Even though it was a rather simple build he was very open to my ideas and easy to work with through the process. Throughout the planning, build, and scheduling, Ryan was easy to get in contact with and usually pretty responsive.I was quoted and paid $4200 for the build, which I thought was a bit high for the build at the time, but was quoted considerably more for the same scope of work (sometimes even less) at several other van builders in the SoCal area. Given the intricacy and total craftsmanship of the job that Ryan and his team did I would have happily paid more.In the beginning I think I was told that it would take roughly 7-10 days to complete the build, but that timeline was extended several times and it ended up taking about 3 weeks. Mine was one of the first Metris vans that they had built out, so I was expecting delays as there were no templates to build off of. I was worried that the price originally quoted would increase drastically given all the extra time that was spent on it, but Ryan kept to his word so props to him.Overall Im super stoked on how it all turned out, and would be more than happy to do another build with them in the future.

Comment: Where to start with the Humble Handcraft team? First of all, there is the love of wood and attention to detail. Then there is the commitment to the environment. There is the impeccable sense of design and the beautiful attention to detail. Ryan and his team were and continue to be incredibly responsive to my ideas and needs. They went above and beyond, creating a stunning van build-out that suited my needs and fit within my budget, with honest communication, patience and creativity. I was obviously nervous about taking such a big leap, but it paid off -- my tiny home on wheels is hands-down my favorite place to be! Very grateful for Ryan and the whole team for all your incredible talent and hard work.

Comment: I have had both a tiny home and a van converted by Humble Hand Craft. What sets Ryan and his team apart is their absolute passion for what they do. Ryan will go above and beyond to make sure that whatever unit his is working on meets his absurdly high standard for both ethical/green construction and aesthetics. I own the El Toro tiny home; a 28ft triple axel with roughly 320 square feet which was the first unit I had Humble Hand Craft build. As I was shopping around for the perfect builder to make my wife and Is perfect home, I toured one of Ryans units. The first thing that stood out to me was the choice of materials. Everything was REAL quality wood - no particle board or cheap pine. All the wood was reclaimed and finished with non-toxic finishes. The attention to detail blew my mind; from hand made lighting fixtures to the copper door handle. Everything in the house had a story and we instantly fell in love. The process of having Ryan build our home was unique as it was still pre Humble Hand Craft in regards to his current shop and team but communication was easy. We bounced ideas off each other for months while he built and I never felt like our goals and specifications were ever overlooked. Ryan takes the time to do the job right or he wont do it at all. The second experience I had with Ryan was in his new facility with his new crew. After the positive experience I had with the Tiny Home there was no one else I would have considered to convert our van. Again, Ryan and his team took all of our specifications and goals into account and went above and beyond with the van, finding amazing materials for the finish work and not sparing on the small details. Even though the demand is much higher now and there are many more active projects, I never felt like I was getting the short end of the stick. I still felt entirely taken care of from communication to punctuality - Ryan and his team have leveled up! Really happy to see good people succeeding and these guys are just that. Thanks again for all of your work!

Comment: Working with Ryan and his team was more then we could have asked for from start to finish. He understood our vision and helped to guide us throughout the process. He was instrumental in helping us to choose the right materials that would not only look best, but last the longest. There is no other company that does this quality custom work for a great value. Every project he does is one of one. If you are looking for a great van conversion or tiny home you have come to the right place.

Comment: My husband & I had a pipe dream to own a camper van one day. As fate allowed, we purchased an empty cargo van in February of this year & started researching how to convert it. The whole process quickly became overwhelming & the bids from potential builders were higher than we were comfortable shelling out. When I heard about Humble Hand Craft, I instantly fell in love with Ryans tiny home craftsmanship & woodworking skills. He really listened to everything we wanted, worked within our budget & never tried to up-sell us by adding things we didnt need. The build is aesthetically pleasing, & the quality is remarkable. We are so happy with the final product. THANK YOU RYAN & TEAM!

Comment: Ryan has been nothing short of spectacular in building my van out. I came to him utterly overwhelmed trying to build a sprinter van myself. He’s listened to my wild ideas of what I want built in my van and worked with me to come up with the best design possible for me. He’s kept me in the loop of all the details and makes me feel a part of my build while he handles all the leg work. The hardest part of turning over a build out is trusting that someone will see your vision just like you do, and I feel like Ryan spent multiple days and time with me to ensure he knew exactly what I was visualizing.
