I’ve taken an SAT summer prep course at huntington. It not only helped me on the SAT, but also on the ACT. The tutors are very helpful and patient. They have no problem specifying the focus depending on a students weak areas. I would definitely recommend Huntington for such courses, as I feel they set me up for success.

My son had a wonderful experience with Huntington for his ACT prep. The one on one tutoring was so valuable, and he enjoyed learning in the environment that they provide. He was extremely prepared for the ACT and his score reflected that. It was a great investment in his future!

The SAT preparatory program developed for my daughter was intensive and dedicated to her specific needs. While we enrolled unconventionally, last minute... she spent five half days in a row learning strategies, understanding her habits, and honing skills for effective test taking. Her score from day one of tutoring to exam time increased 260 points! She worked hard to earn it ... as a result of skilled counsel at Huntington

Huntington was the first of three centers my daughter and I visited. Upon our initial consultation, Mr. Pan made us extremely comfortable and we both left with high hopes of the success she would have with tutoring. She has been at the center for 7 months and is progressing extremely well. What I like most about the center is their constant contact with her teachers and willingness to schedule meetings with me to review my daughter’s progress. Tracy is extremely detailed about what my daughter has been working on and is more than willing to talk to me in-between meetings if I have any questions or concerns. She also listens to my suggestions and adjusts her curriculum when necessary. As a parent, its great to feel like your opinions are important and acted upon. In the consultation, Mr. Pan stressed that he felt that my daughter’s progress would involve a collaborative effort between the center, the teachers, and the parents and that is exactly what it’s been. It has been a wonderful experience that has been well worth the investment. I would definitely recommend this center.

My daughter needed to improve her ACT scores and was terrified of taking standardized tests. Dr. Wei Pan and the staff provided her with excellent and individualized academic coaching. They helped to improve her test taking skills. Specifically, Dr. Wei Pan was very effective in making her feel comfortable and confident in her ability to succeed. Subsequently, it all contributed to her acceptance into University of Michigan and receipt of the National Achievement Scholarship Finalist award - (She is among 1,300 from 160,000 African American Students). I would highly recommend this learning center!

The math tutor at Huntington Learning center is amazing. She made sure my child understood the basics before she built on other concepts. Her methods gave my son a solid foundation and now hes able to solve problems with ease.

The investment that my wife and I have put into our daughter has already paid dividends in 3 short months. In December of 2016 we noticed that my daughter was showing signs of falling behind in her school curriculum. She was normally a solid B student, but in December her grades were low Bs/high Cs. Nightly homework became a chore and her confidence in her work was gone. I noticed that her comprehension of reading was not there. Needless to say, my wife and I were extremely alarmed.I looked at Google for tutors in the area and began calling. I also visited several to ensure that we would get our desired result. The initial phone call with the site director, Claudia, immediately put me at ease. She let me describe what was going on and suggested that we bring her in for testing to see exactly where she was at in her schooling. The test lasted for 4 hours. When we consulted with Claudia after testing our fears were realized. Our daughter missed out on some important building blocks in the first grade. Claudia then designed a program that would start her back in the 1st grade for both reading and math and would take her through 5th grade (one grade above current). The Huntington team even reached out to her current teacher to find out her concerns and what her class was currently studying. Claudia incorporates what the current class is doing into each childs individual program.This program has worked. By starting her in lower grades, with one on one teaching, she immediately started to gain confidence in her abilities. She captured her previous misses and is now running towards her goals. She is no longer content with Bs, she wants to be the best in her class in everything. My daughters current teacher has commented on how my daughter now helps her classmates when they are struggling. She has two amazing teachers, Miss Michelle and Miss Hollie that work well with my daughter and with each other. The teachers and Claudia put together monthly progress reports and meet with us to review what is going on. They also provide some tips on how to continue her learning at home. We do quick math quizzes and note cards for Vocab words daily now.We still have a long way to go, but I am sure we will hit the desired goal. We plan on using Huntington even when she catches up to help maintain and to never fall behind again.In all Dr. Pan and his team has created a wonderful learning center that WILL improve your childs learning. This is a wonderful investment that will pay dividends.

In February 2014, when my daughter brought back her second ACT score to me, I was a little disappointed. She got the same score as her first test – 28. After talking with her for an hour, I understood that I could not help her by myself. I decided to sign her up to an ACT prep-class via the Huntington Learning Center at Canton, where my colleague recommended based on his own experience.When I first met Mr. Pan (the director of the Huntington Learning Center at Canton), he helped me to understand not only what programs the learning center provided could help my daughter, but also the strategy and action plans they could use to help her to improve her ACT score within 2 months. We then set up a goal of 30 to 31 on her next test.I know it was an aggressive goal. In order to achieve it, I chose the Premier program. I told myself to hope for the best (a score of 31), and prepare for the worst (a score of 28). Soon, my daughter started her program and went to the learning center 5 times a week in those six weeks. The Canton center was flexible enough to work with her schedule, and chose the right teachers for her. I saw her practice scores going up and down- 29, 30, and 27- I was worried, but I still kept my hopes up.Finally, my daughter went in for her 3rd ACT test. She told me after the test that she did not do well, so I was pretty disappointed. About a week after, I came home and my daughter greeted to me at the door. She asked me, “Mom, what’s a bad ACT score?”I replied “28, but baby, do not worry, you still can go for the 4th test”. She then opened her laptop and I saw her score: 33. I could not believe it. It was impossible. However, it was true. My daughter got 33 on her 3rd ACT test!!! I could not believe what was happening. She far exceeded the target score with help from the Canton Huntington learning center faculties.On the same night, Mr. Pan called me and told me that I should be able to see Tiffany’s ACT score result now. I was so excited to share the news to him. He was very excited too. He also reminded me that he’s happy to help with my daughter’s college application essays.I know our experience is one of their many successful stories. I don’t presume results like this will apply to every student. However, with a competent tutoring team, I know I made a very smart decision and investment by sending my daughter to this learning center.
