I went to get a haircut last week and ended up having to leave after a half hour of waiting from my appointment time. I was disappointed but still really wanted to use Indigo for my salon since the reviews were so good and we aren’t from the area. I booked another hair appointment for a couple days later. Before my appointment for that day, I got a call from the general manager apologizing for my wait and she assured me that’s not how things usually run there. She also offered to cover the cost of my haircut since I had to come back. Very nice salon. Professional, clean, and has great customer service. They also helped me find a new hair product for me to use! The stylist I had, Casey, was quick but cut my hair perfectly. Definitely recommend to anyone I know now!
Natalie is fantastic! Shes a skilled beautician (good at guys hair) and great a conversationist. I enjoy our time together.
Staff was very kind from the moment I stepped in. I was greeted by front desk staff and shortly after met the massage technician (Michi?). She was so sweet and accommodating, made sure I was comfortable throughout the process. Then handed me off for the facial to Rachelle, who was also amazing. I finished off with a pedicure from Season. They were all great to work worth and the coordination of services was smooth. It was my first time there, and I’m excited to return.
Never will return. Arrive exactly on time but apologized because I thought I might have been late. Im brand new to the area and got a bit turned around. During my appt the ladies started making snarky comments about me getting lost and it was probably a lie.
I had a terrific experience at Indigo Salon. I love that they are taking temperatures when we arrive and making note of who has been there because, lets be honest, we want to be safe and beautiful. Sheila asked me to be her hair model to do a global color job. Maybe its called a world color job? I had not had my hair colored in about 14 months and I had a lot of root growth. I also had some highlights that had been growing out. She realized that if she applied color to my roots, you would be able to see a clear line where the highlights stopped so she added a gloss over the rest of my hair to blend it all together. I love it! She gave me a very sleek blowout and then added some beachy waves and I feel beautiful and sexy.
I got a targeted custom massage with Patrice. She was super knowledgeable and kind and explained what she was doing as she went along as I had specific issues I was trying to resolve. She even gave me websites to provide follow-up info and techniques to use at home. I already booked my next 2 appointments with her since she’s so busy. Definitely recommend.
Went there to get a facial done by Ashley and it was one of the best facials Ive ever received. Salon and spa were both very clean and nicely decorated, the staff was very friendly.
If you are looking for a professional and beautiful atmosphere to get any of your beauty needs taken care of, this is the salon for you. I especially recommend Casey Grauzer, a very young, talented, and creative stylist who will make you leaving the salon feeling like a million bucks! I also recommend Ashely Rachels, a great aesthetician who knows her trade so well and is so fun.
Kate H. is an excellent hairstylist. She is friendly, soft spoken, and knowledgeable about hair. I adored the salon especially the boutique. I didnt have cash for tip and it was so nice to use Venmo to tip Kate. Thank you Kate!!!!!
I believe her name was Audrey, if not I apologize. The service was pleasant. Audrey was personable and friendly. The pedicure is good as well. Only first visit. Made another appointment and am confident the pedicure will be just as nice.
Natalie R was an absolute pro! Listened and was receptive to my hair goals and 100% delivered! Her foiling was meticulous and the alternating highlighting and lowlighting technique came out beautiful! Already scheduled my next appointment with her.
The place is very safe to visit. I have gotten my hair done from Marlo twice now and she is amazing! I live in DC, but I am going to make sure I only get my hair done when I come back to visit family in Michigan at Indigo by Marlo! I have extremely curly hair and she has colored and cut my hair twice now, both times it has been amazing!
I had a relaxation massage. The massage itself was very good although the therapist forgot to introduce herself. The massage is advertised as including warm compresses. That did not happen. Nor was a glass/bottle of water offered after. A little more professionalism is needed
My son and I went to get a massage (for me) and a facial (for him). The establishment is gorgeous. Super, super clean. Its actually a really huge place once you get inside. The massage rooms are beautiful, peaceful, comfortable and relaxing. The ceiling fan in the room I had was magnificent wood-shaped-palm leaf blades. It was so nice I want one for my home! My son loved the woman who gave him the facial. She was so friendly, knowledgeable and did such a great job that he immediately asked if we could book again (and we did! We have already been back twice!). More importantly: I had an incredible masseuse who truly changed my life by explaining to me that 1. I am actually drinking too much water and essentially harming myself in the process (who would have thought?!?!?) and 2. She gave me the EXACT name of the area I have had endless issues with. For 15+ YEARS I have been Google searching lower back pain, but because of Indigo I learned my problem is ACTUALLY Piriformis Muscle and Sciatic Muscle. Once I learned what was TRULY causing my pain I have been able to do many things to help calm it. My masseuse taught me a lot of awesome DIY ways I can ease my suffering and I have been able to truly use these methods and it has made one hell of a difference in my life. I sincerely cannot thank Indigo enough! Cant wait to go back again!
I have enjoyed getting pampered by Marlo. ❣️Im a curly 2C/3A mix and I was looking for a place to treat my curls right.I found a blessing in Marlo & the overall services by Indigo.Have visited her twice in 2 months, once for a HUGE chop- got rid of 8inches of length, and I trusted her blindly and she did an excellent job!Second time for some color and she didnt disappoint as well.Anyone who wants a curly hair specialist, look no further, Marlo is your girl. She is a magician!As long as I am living in Canton, Im not going elsewhere (maybe even if I move, Ill come back to her! :P )Both times I had to wait for over 20/25 minutes after my appointment time, which is a lil annoying, but the results are worth it :)

I wanted a little pampering and a nice fix on a bad dye job I did. This spa/boutique/salon is beautiful. It was so nice and taken care of. My stylist made me feel right at home even though I was a little nervous since this was my first visit to the salon. And last but not least, the outcome of my hair is GORGEOUS. It feels so nice and healthy. This is definitely my new hair place and I am already eager to schedule another service there.
I got my hair cut by Haley and she did an amazing job! I originally went in one day during the week to get a cut and then after a few days days I decided I wanted it shorter and she had no problem cutting it again making sure that I left happy! Both cuts that Haley did were amazing! I would recommend her to anybody! I also love going to Indigo Salon because everyone there is very nice and welcoming!
My husband and I have been going to Indigo for over 10 years. Melissa is an amazing person and owner. Lindsay has been our personal phenomenal hair stylist. Weve had more massages than I can count and never had a bad experience. Recently, my 4 year old daughter had her first hair cut at Indigo with Kate and it was a great first experience. My daughter loves her hair! I will always recommend Indigo Salon!

The staff at Indigo is wonderful, and all of my interactions with the owner have been positive. Ashley R. is a fantastic esthetician. Always on-time, professional, and does great work (I see her on a regular monthly basis). I have also used Indigo for manicures/pedicures. They have the BEST spa pedicures (Rachel C. and Casey G. are wonderful!).
I received a Mother’s Day gift package, I was able to choose three service, so much fun! Indigo is a beautiful salon. Everyone was super friendly, professional and helpful. I recommend Indigo for any of their services- well worth it!
Indigo does a great job with hair color and cuts. Vickie was great! The only negative I would have to say is that the last time I went, I got all over color, a new hair style, and bangs. This time I only got a root touch up and trim but it cost the same. Im not quite sure why.
The Salon is beautiful and welcoming. The staff is very friendly. Hayle was my stylist. She was very personable, knowledgeable, and very talented. I love my new color and appreciate the tips she shared on how to maintain it. I will definitely come back and recommend this salon to everyone.
My nail tech Audrey was wonderful! Highly recommend her. However, I had a gift card specifically for spa pedi and a shellac mani for a birthday gift. They charged me more and only allowed face value of what was paid on the gift card toward the service even though the gc was a package for the services.Bad business in my opinion. They should only allow you to purchase dollar value gift cards and not specific service gift cards if they are going to do it that way.
Indigo has been around long enough to know what works and what doesnt. Its a smooth-running salon with talented stylists, massage therapists, and estheticians. Lindsay has been cutting my hair for years, and I confidently recommend her services. My kids have gone to other stylists, and weve always been happy with the results. My husband and I both had excellent experiences with several different massage therapists. Ive also enjoyed pedicures and a facial, and recommend these services as well. The staff is friendly, welcoming, efficient, and seem to genuinely enjoy working here. I have no reservations recommending Indigo.
I had a extremely wonderful experience at Indigo. I came in with a problem as my previous salon had not addressed my concerns with my hair becoming extremely brassy and an unnatural color. I knew my situation may be challenging. Laura F is my stylist and she worked wonders. I am truly happy with my hair. It has been a few weeks and a several washings and it still looks wonderful. She was very responsive and skillful because I also have natural texture hair and gave me a wonderful blow out. Also the salon is very relaxing with a cute boutique and a spa. I will need to check that out as well.
Absolutely wonderful salon! A little while back I decided it was time to finally get established with a new salon as I moved into the area from down towards Toledo and so happy I chose indigo! Marlee is amazing for hair and Rachel is top notch for nails! I come here for my normal cuts and recently came in to have all my nails done for my wedding. Highly recommend this place for anything! I look forward to trying out more services with them in the future!
Audrey was fabulous. She is so personable too so this was an excellent experience. I had a wedding the next day and found a beautiful statement piece necklace. I thought for sure it was going to be really expensive. Not all, it was extremely reasonably priced. I have always had good experience so I decided to do the review.
I hadn’t had my hair done in two years. I went in with such excitement and I got a hairstylist that was new and didn’t know much. At the time I didn’t know she was new and went in having high hopes. I showed her multiple pictures and was even assured she’s going to do my hair exactly like that and make sure it doesn’t turn orange or yellow. And I trusted her. I asked for a balayage with baby lights and money pieces. And was left with orange front bangs wuth dark hair everywhere and orange and yellow highlights. I wish I can insert a picture. I told her even before she was drying my hair that it looks orange and she assured me it was the lighting. Anyways moving on she didn’t even finish my hair completely and told me her assistant will be drying my hair and she has another appointment (I was there for 5 hours 12pm to 5 pm ) the assistant came and I told her how I felt she said yes it does look orange and I’ll ask the manager. Long story short I did go back to get them fixed but what ended up happening my hair was bleached again and they made the whole head dark and left me with some brown highlights (my hair is brown) and the front money pieces were made blonde it looks weird but I mean at least my hair doesn’t look like a birds nest and I thank marlo for taking time to fix it but the person who had done my hair please if you know you can’t do something just say it before you want to try it on someone’s hair. I’m devastated. I wasted $186 for nothing. Also I did ask that the second time someone else do my hair but apparently they ask you to sign a waiver that says only the person that did your hair before can fix it but with the head hairstylist. I mean imagine going back to the same person who ruined your hair. And oh after I shared my concern about my hair being orange that hair stylist blocked me from her professional hair account 🙄 I’m not the kind of person who writes bad reviews ever but this experience was horrible. Still getting used to have only front bangs as blonde and the rest of my head is dark. Very very disappointed 😢 also I asked for a refund and wasn’t responded to.
Went based on the reviews - staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating, Ashley - who did my facial and Lilly who did my hair were both really helpful. The listened to my needs and ensured I was fully happy. I have had some bad experiences in the past but Indigo Salon and Spa truly delivered excellent services. Will certainly return on my next visit to the area
I have always done the cheap thing, and colored my hair at home with box dye. I have never felt comfortable with others doing my hair, because it NEVER turns out how I want it to. Chelsea is such an amazing gem ❤️ Not only did she correct my box dye job.. but she was so friendly and easy to talk to throughout the whole process. My second appointment is in September, and I cant wait to see what her magic will accomplish! Indigo Salon is a super cute place, and everyone makes you feel so welcome.

New to the area and pleased to find a quality stylist!Rachel did my wedding makeup and was AMAZING! She was professional and gave me just the look I was hoping for!Chelsea did my hair for my wedding and did an awesome job!I took my son for a haircut with Ashley and she did such a great job on the cut (just what I asked for) and she was quick and worked with my little guy so well! My first experience here was a prenatal massage. It was absolutely amazing. They have a special pillow so I could lay on my front side and didn’t put pressure on my baby bump. So relaxing. Yesterday I was able to experience their salon. I went it with a few ideas and my stylist Hailey took all my ideas and made it happen! I got low lights and high lights and a bob hair cut. It turned out amazing and I’m so very happy! Definitely recommend.
I had a massage with Sarah. From the moment I entered the builiding, eveyone was friendly, nice, and helpful. It was very comfortable and pleasant. Sarah was wonderful. Perhaps the best massage Ive had! I definitely recommend Indigo for any spa needs. Its a great place!
I have been going to Indigo for their Spa over the last 3 years. Staff are friendly, helpful, and nice. Earlier on I had consistently outstanding experiences, but the last 6 months or so things have been hit or miss. I am not a spa diva. Just a regular person who likes to enjoy a spa experience 2 or three times a year. I will continue to root for this Spas success.
I love this salon. I drive two hours one way just to see Chelsea. Not only is Chelsea extremely talented, but she also is great company. The entire salon experience it not something I have access to where I live. When I arrive, I’m promptly greeted by wonderful staff. They offer me wine slushies, coffee, water; this customer service is not available in Saginaw. I make the drive because Indigo staff are worth it. My boyfriend received a massage (walk-in), and loved it. The prices are fair, service is incredible. That to me makes the trip worth it! Talented and friendly staff as well! Thanks Indigo!
I visited Indigo today for a massage (peppermint hot rock w/ Sarah) and facial (introductory w/ Ashley)... both were amazing! Will definitely be back. The atmosphere at this salon is very positive, warm, and relaxing. The staff is professional and so good at what they do. I questioned whether the services would be worth the cost (Indigo is a little more expensive than elsewhere) - they are so worth it!
I am a newbie here. The staff is super-friendly, and my appointment started very promptly. I had a pedicure, she did a very nice job. Wish they had nicer towels though (theirs are pretty thin). Disclaimer: I dont get pedicures often, so maybe theres a good reason for those types of towels. I would (and have) recommended them to a friend.

I found out about indigo salon through a friend of mine who currently works there. I wanted to support her by becoming a client. My hair is very long, and fairly easy to style. Most times when i walk away from a cut I feel bored and unsatisfied with my hair. But Haley was able to cut my hair in a way that gave my hair volume, and definition; it was so beautiful! The salon is so clean and inviting, plus the service was great and reasonably priced. Im very excited to see Haley again and maybe go for a bolder cut!
My three daughters and I had our hair done at Indigo Salon for my wedding day this past Saturday. Chelsea L. did my wedding hair and she did an amazing job. She listened to what I wanted and took her time and it came out exactly how I wanted it. Maquia took care of the three girls and was able to finish with a half hour to spare and they were all thrilled. She made their hair look exactly like the pictures they brought in. Very beautiful salon with talented stylists! Highly recommend!
From the front desk to the stylist that did my hair. Very friendly. Not once did I feel uncomfortable like I have with other places. Vickie took her time with my hair and I left beyond pleased.

I received a haircut by Paige and she is both a excellent Cosmetologist and conversationalist. I highly recommend Indigo due to their friendly and knowledgeable staff!10/10 would get my haircut there again!
Got my hair done in may and going back soon! Never have had anything done to my hair color wise and got a balayage for the first time. She did an amazing job from start to finish! She walked me through all the steps and made my nerves disappear. Cant wait to have it done again for fall and next year for a friends wedding. I have recommended so many people to Indigo and will continue to do so!!!!
I have been going to Indigo Salon for three years now, and absolutely LOVE it. My stylist Chelsea is truly a master of her craft. She is not only talented, but she listens and has conversations with me about what I want and what would look best on me. She delivers a home run every single time, and I have had so many compliments on my hair since going to her. She is truly gifted at what she does, and I am so grateful to have my hair done by someone who is so talented.
I have been going to Indigo for years and I have never had a bad experience. I see Jill for my hair and shes just amazing - what she can do with color is unreal! I have also seen other girls for blow drys and various styles and they have always done a great job. I have a spa package my boyfriend got me for my birthday and I cant wait to use it! Also, Its a clean, comfortable, friendly environment - and I recommend trying the frappavinos! :)
I love Indigo! Ive always been a little cautious about who does my hair, since my mom and sister are hairstylists. However, I was put completely at ease right when I met Chelsea! She is not only incredibly talented, but so personable and down to earth. I have never loved my hair so much! Chelsea is a true day maker and I always leave feeling like the best version of myself! The whole Indigo Salon experience is more like 6 stars!UPDATE:I totally forgot to review my tape in extensions I also got done by Chelsea at Indigo! I think I forgot because I sometimes forget I have them in. As an avid extension wearer I have loved these tape-ins for long summer hair! There are a few things to get used to when having semi-permanent hair (its much heavier than my normal hair, and you cannot wash it as often) however Chelsea did a great job on the install, none have fallen out and Ive had them in for 8 weeks! My hair grows fast, but I have been able to keep them hidden under my natural hair. These extensions lay super flat against your head, and after doing research Indigo uses the highest quality brand available (Hot Heads). My hair matches perfect! This is a great option for anyone who is looking for a slightly cheaper semi-permanent extension method. Tape-Ins also are not damaging to your real hair and are gym friendly! #winning
Awesome service! I placed an order online and it was waiting for me in this beautifully wrapped gift bag. It made me feel so special. There was cute stuff everywhere, so I just had to meander around the treasures. I was happy to see local Michigan products too.The helpful staff helped me find the perfect gifts to complete my shopping and I look forward to my next visit.
I have been going to Indigo for many years. The staff is very friendly and always make you feel comfortable. Ive had massages, facials, manicures, and pedicures. Its a very relaxing atmosphere and they are so attentive. I highly recommend all of their spa treatments!

Ive been coming to this salon for years, and have been nothing but impressed with the impeccable service that I have received all the way from the receptionists to the technicians. Even though I come here regularly, they still treat every visit like its my first. They are very welcoming.Ive been seeing the same stylist, Angela, for a couple years now and I wanted to try something different. I heard of the ombre technique and have seen it on several celebrities, but was very nervous to try it on myself. I brought in pictures and collectively we decided on what we were going to do with my hair. It turned out amazing! I couldnt have been happier with the results. I HIGHLY recommend Angela and Indigo for ANY services. I have tried almost every service here, and do not have a single complaint. I love every person that I come in contact with there. Its also very nice that there is always a manager there making sure that you are comfortable, and offering you a beverage or anything else you may need. I just think its very personable that not only do the receptionists serve you, but a manager is also there to make sure your experience is exceptional.They have my life time loyalty!
Indigo has done a fantastic job with return to work efforts and ensuring client & employee safety. Their attention to detail and strict adherence to COVID protocols was evident upon walking in the door, and for the duration of my appointment I felt very comfortable that they are taking this pandemic seriously. As a long time client I can assure you the level of service has not been impacted negatively by safety protocols in any way...5 stars to Lindsay and her awesome Indigo team!
My husband and I have been going to Indigo for several years and drive an hour specifically to see Marlo. The staff at Indigo is polite, professional and go out of their way to make your experience great. From the time we walk in the door the staff greets us by name with a smile, escorts us to our services and treats us like royalty from start to finish. Our stylist Marlo is incredibly talented and patient. She is honest and suggests styles, cuts and colors that best compliment us.We love our experience every time we go!
I have received two 60 min relaxation massages from Indigo salon over the past 6 months. Both therapist were fantastic, the staff is very friendly and the facility is clean. They do go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and relaxed!
The facial experience was great. I also have received the Peppermint Hot Rocks Massage from April and it was HEAVEN! I have gone back and brought my mom too. She is going back and bringing her friends. It is such a relaxing atmosphere and has the cutest little boutique inside as well. They offer so many great services that I cannot wait to try them all. I will be back again soon for sure!
Pedicure and massage were fine. But be aware of their levels of hairdressers before you book your visit. Got a level 2 unknowingly and it was a disappointment. My cut and color were quite off and had color on my skin for several days. They offered to fix it, but I didn’t have the patience or time to go back again.
I have been a client of Rachelles for seven months, twice a month. She is always pleasant and highly professional as well as prompt. Im so please with how well she knows her craft! I would highly recommend her.

She did my whole head and she did a fantastic job! I saw Anna today (Hayley wasn’t available when I tried to book online, I booked somewhat short notice) by anywho, Anna did a great job too!! I had a wonderful experience getting my makeup done by Rachel S. So relaxing, was offered yummy drinks also! She gave me excellent tips and made me feel like she knew forever just by how nice she was being and how relaxed she was talking to me and explaining things. I also had my hair cut and styled by another lady named Rachel and I believe her last initial started with an R. That was also a lovely experience and afterwards theyll take a picture of you surrounded by lights. Made me feel important lol. I drove a ways but it was completely worth it!
I went to Indigo for the first time a few weeks ago. They had a chalkboard welcoming new customers and my name was included. While completing my profile I was offered a wine slushy...delicious! Then I went in for my massage. It was awesome; just what I needed. After my massage, I got a paraffin pedi. That too was awesome. I will definitely be returning.
My manicure experience was relaxing. The young lady was so friendly and professional. It was a standard manicure. She shaped and polished flawlessly.
Well done to Indigo 👏Hand sanitiser at the door, 6ft placements, screens, temperature checks and even their own cute face masks for sale. Ive loved going to this salon for the last 18 months or so and Im so glad theyve reopened AND are doing it safely. Ill always be a loyal customer.

Ive been there twice and both times Ive had nice experiences. My facial was nice and they recommended products without being pushy about it. My nail tech was very friendly and my nails looked good when I left but the shellac started peeling around 2 days later (the only reason they didnt get a 5). My hot stone massage was the best!!
I really, really wanted to love this place since it’s super close to home. However, 2 out of 2 times the experience has been disorganized and underwhelming. My first experience left me waiting an hour because of a scheduling snafu. My second time, one of the checkout employees, Austin, was so rude to me it made me never want to come back. His coworkers just watched and did nothing. He made me feel very unwelcome. I come to a salon to feel pampered, not to feel unwelcome.Sadly, I’ll be looking for a different salon because of my experience with Austin. As long as he is employed at Salon Indigo, I will get my hair cut elsewhere. It’s a shame. I wish Marlee would work at a different salon because she’s great.
I had my hair done by Vicki yesterday. She was fantastic! So friendly! I hadn’t had my hair cut in over 3 years and she made me feel very confident. The hair cut was amazing!
Let’s just start with the fact that you get to enjoy wine slushees while you get pampered. If that doesn’t woo you into giving Indigo Salon and Spa a try, I’m not sure that anything will.If you’re reading reviews for this salon, you’ve probably never been here before. Just do yourself a favor and make an appointment. I have been fortunate enough to have Marlee create works of art out of my hair for years. She’s been with me through my (very) short asymmetrical bob stage, my redhead with bangs stage, and my (super) dark brown stage that was quickly followed by my “take me back to my natural frosty blonde” stage. Through all of the chaos that is my hair, she executed each one of my ridiculous requests with a positive attitude and impressive/cutting-edge techniques! She takes the time to make you comfortable, talks to you like you have been her friend for years, and makes sure that your wine glass is never empty!One of the best things about Indigo is that they never push products on you like other salons. They educate you about what salon items may make caring for your new do a little easier or last a little longer - as opposed to filling your basket with unnecessary products.I can’t say enough positive about this cute boutique and salon. You really do get the most bang for your buck while still feeling like you are at a luxury spa.

I was 37 weeks pregnant and wanting/ needing a personal day so I decided to get a spa pedicure at Indigo. It was so relaxing from the moment I walked in the building. Relaxing music, warm neck wraps, refreshments, and the actual pedicure was heavenly. I will be going back and recommend to all my friend and family! They are a little pricey but its worth the cost! You get what you pay for.

I had made Indigo salon spa and boutique my Home for services every year for my birthday. Every year that I have had services at this spa there has been some sort of mishap or problem. This year was the last straw when they left me waiting for 15 to 20 minutes for my aesthetician to greet me for my facial. When greeted, it was not by my aesthetician, but it was by a member of staff telling me that my aesthetician had an emergency and that I could not get my original facial service that I had scheduled the year before (this was my birthday). The services themselves were always good, but the actual provision of great customer service was the pits. As a beauty professional myself, I would not recommend this place especially for anything special. You will be disappointed.👎
This Salon is set to satisfy everyones needs. Hair, nails, massages and wonderful products. I am never disappointed. Marissa is great with color, style and she has a wonderful personality. I highly recommend her. The boutique is great. Clothes, jewelry, candles, and many other products. I found some great gifts there for friends and family. The Salon is bright and cheery and makes you happy and relaxed.

I have been going to Indigo for north of 9 years and have had nothing but amazing experiences. From hair, to nails to massage....they are top notch. We love them so much, that I have only ever taken both of my boys to Indigo for hair cuts! This salon is so beautiful and the people running it are amaing!
Its been two weeks and two days since my trim which turned into a $49.00 chop session. I am very disappointed with the service provided by this advanced stylist. Im still fighting with my hair to get it to look decent. I wear it shorter...perhaps she doesnt have experience working with shorter hair? It is by far the worst Ive experienced. I went away aggravated and vowed to never return. No tip, of course, so maybe she got the vibe. It would not have done any good to say anything at the time, because her efforts to correct the situation would have made an already too short trim even shorter. After over two weeks, my hair is still MUCH shorter than what my usual stylist would have done. I can tell a good haircut when my hair falls into place as I blow it dry. Ive got hair too short in places and too long in others. Good grief!I am responding to your response to my original post: Actually what your stylist said after your consulting with her is untrue. I WAS NOT coming to have a hair cut corrected. I had explained to her that I had been currently driving over one hour to Napoleon, MI for my cuts...which were PERFECT...but was trying to find someone closer to my home. I also told her that I had been told my hair, because of the waves and colics, was not always the easiest to cut. I pointed out the areas that seemed to have given people the most trouble in the past.Only TWICE did I say anything to her about what she was doing to my hair and that was in the form of a question, Do you think that will be a problem? I never once told her how to cut my hair. Additionally, I had tried 3, not 5, stylists before her; always having to return to my original stylists to get my hair back on track.I believe more honesty on the part of your stylist is needed...not statements that will cover up her inability to cut hair properly. Ordinarily I do not write any negative reviews....the second one Ive ever made. I prefer to give businesses good reviews if at all possible. In this case, I am not able to do so. And why in the world would I possibly want the same person to correct this chop?? I usually get my hair cut every four weeks. It is so short now....after two weeks....shorter than what it is when I get my regular trims from my gal in Napoleon I honestly feel it will be mid September before Ill be needing anymore done.
I had the opportunity to visit Indigo Salon and Spa recently and had a wonderful experience! They gave me a tour since it was my first time and wow this place is so cute! I had my eyebrows and lashes done. The waiting area was clean and relaxing. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Thank you Indigo! I will visit again soon!
This spa use to be excellent. The staff is now rude, unprofessional in appearance and demeanor. I booked an appointment only to find the receptionist did not book it. I scheduled my entire day around the appointment I booked only to be told they could not accommodate. I wish Patricia worked at another spa. Ive followed 2 of their former employees because they have exceptional service! Indigo is one of the worse spas I have visited in the area. Never again will they receive a dime of my money. The massage was terrible and rushed for an hour
My daughter and I love coming to get our hair cut by Marlo. Not only does she do the best job on my curly hair (and my daughters) that Ive experienced in my life, but the atmosphere is so relaxing. My daughter and I drink coffee and eat boscotti while we wait and then Marlo massages our scalps for so long when she washes our hair :) Love Indigo.
I brought my mom in for Mothers Day. The spa looks like a Victorian Style house from the outside. When we walked into the spa it smelled like heaven! The jewelry and other accessories were very nice inside the boutique. We had to wait about 7 minutes for our appointment, but we had arrived early. We were offered beverages and we picked the wine slushies. They were excellent! Calais did my 60 minute massage and Michi was with my mother. Both ladies were professional and friendly. The massages were AMAZING! We all talked and laughed. For our first time getting professorially massaged it was a wonderful experience! I will tell everyone I know about this spa.

As a busy guy I’ve been struggling to find a quality haircut. I’ve tried the old school walk in barber shop and got a good cut but couldn’t stand the wait time. Next I tried the online check in with the franchise places. I still had to wait and got terrible haircuts. I finally checked out Indigo due to family recommendation, location and other reviews. I’m really glad that I did! I scheduled a same day appointment online via their website and got the best haircut I’ve had in years from Marlee C. My next visit is already on the calendar and I couldn’t be happier. Thanks Marlee!

I absolutely LOVE it here! Lindsay has worked wonders on my hair. I went to her for several color and cut corrections before I finally made her my regular hair stylist. I would definitely recommend going here - not to mention, the boutique is addicting!
I wish I could give Indigo more stars, but their pricing for haircuts is astonishingly sexist for the 21st century. My husband and I have almost the exact same hairstyle, and they charge him $34 and me $52. We can walk into Sports Clips and pay equal amounts for each of our haircuts. The most sexist salon chain on the planet is less sexist than Indigo :(
From the moment you step through the door of this pastel yellow Victorian beauty you sense a weight being lifted and relaxation starting. The staff are consistently cheerful and helpful. Ive come here for almost 4 years for haircuts, pedis and massages. The quality of the services surpasses those Ive had at other places. That this is an anchoring business in our little Cherry Hill Village is important too. It is heartbreaking that they recently had a small fire and water damage, but encouraging that they rallied to reconfigure things in 4 days and reopen for services while repairs were being made. Thanks for everything Indigo and hold strong during the restoration!

I came to this salon for about two years for Chelsea to work her amazing magic on my hair! I know I can always trust her to give my hair beautiful color, cut and life! I always feel so beautiful and refreshed when I walk out of the salon! I was so sad to move to Texas because I dont think I will find anyone even close to Chelsea, so you better believe everytime I come back to Michigan Ill be making an appointment!

Ive been going Indigo for roughly over 10 years now. An I will tell you its my go to spot for some me time! I come here to feel relaxed, rejuvenated, and pampered so that I can walk out of there being abou to continue to do all the things, and take care of all the people in my life. I use to feel guilty taking me time until I got older and realized having a family of my own, that I cant continually poor into their bucket of my own bucket is bone dry. So Indigo is my Sweet Spot for me time! Ive tried other Spas an none are quite as good as what Ive found here. Im pretty particular in what I want and like when it comes to Massage Therapy and Ive seen multiple therapists over the years at Indigo and have not had a problem, though I of course have a fave Meagan! She just gets me and we work well together! But they are all great! An Ive been here for hair, nails, facials and body polishing and have had nothing but great experience!
Received touch of luxury as a gift. The massage and facial were great. Nails on the other hand were just ok. I had shellac and there are many thick areas, uneven and even clumps on the underside. All the staff was nice and friendly.
Hailey does such an amazing job. There was a scheduling conflict and she came early to make sure I could get my service done. I will go back to her again and again. You won’t be sorry if you go here, try it!

Very disappointed, first experience was great and 2nd was terrible. I will not be coming back.Edit:A manager contacted me to reach out regarding my experience and we spoke about what happened. She invited me to come back and see the stylist I originally seen and take a look at my hair to see what I was unsatisfied with.My stylist Natalie made sure I left loving my hair and as always was extremely pleasant. Everything was taken care of with no extra cost and I am floored by their generosity. It was a complete redye, bayalage, and tone. They did not have to go out of there way to do all of that and they insisted on doing so. Thank you all so much for making sure I didn’t leave on a bad note and going above and beyond. You are all amazing for staying past the time you’re open and doing all that you can to make sure I love my hair. It meant so much and I plan to share this experience and return. I first came to Indigo a few years ago when my stylist took a position here. I thought I loved the place she was at before, but then I came to indigo. The entire atmosphere at Indigo Salon & Spa is warm and welcoming. The staff all great you and make sure you are happy with ALL of your services. The salon uses Loreal Professional products and their quality makes all the difference in your hair. I was at first intimidating by the higher price tag, but after trying it at home I realized there was a difference. I am loyal to my Loreal Professional and Matrix products now. My stylist, Marlo, makes sure to ask exactly what I’m wanting/feeling and suggests things that will compliment my individual skin tones, face shape, etc. Her skills are unmatched and her ability to make my visions a reality is amazing. I always trust Marlo to just “do whatever you think will look best” and I’m never disappointed. Even my husband gets his hair cut here and is much happier than when he was getting his $8 haircuts from the place in the mall.In addition to having my hair cut, colored and styled here, I also get waxed here. My favorite esthetician is Dani. She takes time to explain everything and makes you feel completely comfortable trying new things. I originally started going to Dani for bikini waxes and she suggested trying a Brazilian. Although I was nervous I was glad I took her advice and continued to go to her for Brazilians. Her skills and technique make the process as painless as possible and she always makes sure you’re doing okay between strips. The environment is soothing and relaxing and the equipment is all properly cared for and sanitized. No double dipping here and Dani always followed sanitary procedures.Overall, the price tag can be intimidating at Indigo, but all of their stylists and estheticians are highly skilled and extremely qualified. They offer different levels of experience and expertise which also are reflected in the price of the services, but you can be guaranteed you’ll get a product you love no matter what!
I received a massage from Patrice. EXCELLENT! Told her my knees were being troublesome. She worked all the areas that contributed to the issue. She even went over the time (by a little bit) but said just felt I had get that done. Thanks Patrice!

I have been coming to Indigo since I moved to canton 8 years ago. I am grateful for their service and professionalism. I was there post Covid shut down earlier this week and my experience continued to be phenomenal. The pandemic changed everything. But I want to commend Indigo for being prepared to serve me safely. They provided a shoji screen (privacy divider) at the pedicure station that made my experience private, soothing, and more enjoyable.
My visit was March 31,2017 and was awsome. My specialist was Faith and is one of the best.You cant beat the atmosphere,the cleanliness and the hospitality. I had the peppermint hot rock & added the reflexology.Treat yourself,youre worth it. After reading other reviews I think Ill try the facial also. I just love Indigo. You dont know what youre missing.

Nice greeting upon my arrival, hot tea, and neck wrap. Therapist was older and while I wanted a great massage, it was all trigger point! And my legs broke out in a horrible rash, allergic reaction to the massage cream she used. They have been trying to get back ever since!

I had a terrible experience here unfortunately. I was so crazy looking for a hair salon that could retouched my new growth, but this Merlee or whatever did the wrong color, then I went back so she could fixed it, but she burned my scalp so bad omg. My scalp still pretty bad from the bleach and the color even match anyways. So disappointed 😔. The staff was nice but the job was terrible. I’m not going back there again. Look like they don’t have people that knows about color.

I was desperate for a mani/pedi so I checked out the website and the reviews ... looked solid. They must be paying people to review because I have never felt more taken in my life.Ive had mani/pedis all over the country and this is one of the worst. It was over $50 for the mani which was just applying nail polish. Thats it, she painted my nail. No lotion, no scrub just polish.Then came my $74 pedi. Evidently, the lady was a Level 3 very experienced professional. Really? She went through the motions but Ive had better service and results from a $20 pedi.Its been 3 days and my polish is already peeling. The bottom of my feet are still rough and Im down $119 plus $35 tip. I always tip even though I should not have.I definitely will NOT be back and please read the other reviews with skepticism. Some of them said their wives loved the place. I think many of the reviews are fake
This salon/spa is excellent all around!! From the moment you call to make an appointment each staff member is very helpful, friendly and inviting! The salon itself is beautiful and the service is the best I have ever had. I would suggest Indigo to anyone looking for a full service salon. :)
My appreciation for Indigo started with a stroke of luck. I did a bad box-dye job and had a hard time finding a salon to fix it. They luckily had an opening and my hair came out better than I could have imagined. I plan on goong from bright blonde to brunette this fall and I’d trust no other salon to help me.
I had a hot stone massage, essential facial and a pedicure and everything was great! I left feeling very relaxed. All the staff was kind and very warm which made for a pleasant experience as well. I would recommend.
Marlee is the best stylist there hands down! See her if you want a beautiful color, highlights, colormelt or balayage. She keeps up to date with her education by attending classes on all the latest hair coloring/styling trends. Shes great at getting you blonde/blonder, her favorite saying is, You can never be too blonde. If you want hair that looks and feels healthier than when you got there you must see Marlee!
Everyone was very pleasant! Staff went over products and procedures but was not pushy. Very knowledgeable and patient. I was highly satisfied with the outcome then and even up to my follow up appointment 6 weeks later! Pricing was very reasonable, appointment times were flexible and the building has a lot of charm!

Stay away friends !! All the positive reviews I feel are faked. They are greedy and money minded. Not once, but I tried few times and all the time the experience was the same. I live in Cherry Hill Village the same community they do the business. They dont care about the customers. They dont discuss and inform the cost of the services before doing and throw us into a big surprise by charging crazily when we get to the billing part. There is a base price and the pricing is never the same for every person, which we all understand but good businesses should discuss when they see the customer and inform any deviation or additional charges up front which they dont. The services are also not that great. I wouldnt step into this place any more and would recommend my friends not to use them.
Indigo is by far my very favorite spa. Ive done many of the services offered (massage, facial, hair, nails) and Ive never been disappointed. Ive referred several of my friends and its now their favorite spa as well.

Came a while back to get my hair colored and was unfortunately disappointed. I asked for ombre and showed the woman pictures of what i wanted and ended up with a few highlights basically. When i told the stylist i was expecting the color to be lighter and more noticeable she didnt really say anything or offer to make any adjustments. I thought it was overpriced for what i got.Ive also gotten my makeup done here for an event and wasnt very satisfied. It was way over done and caked on.

I received a very poor coloring service here. I tried to contact the staff about fixing it but got no response.This is the email I sent expressing my opinion -I visited the salon the other day excited to experience the excellent quality of service your salon is known for. I came in hoping for the bayalage effect, brought pictures and was very specific that I was not interested in stripey highlights. However, when I arrived I learned my 2 pm appointment had been canceled inexplicably and I had to wait another half an hour to be seen. My stylist, Angela, was very sweet but we definetly were not on the same page with the color I wanted. I received a great cut, but instead of the slight ombré look I wanted, I went home with blonde stripes. The pictures I showed had none of this so I dont know where she got this idea. In the light of the salon the hair looked okay, but as soon as I was in natural light the two tones were obviously not blending. This was very frustrating because I spent 200 dollars on this hairstyle and am a college student who cannot afford to spend this much on a bad product. I called later that evening asking if we could fix this somehow, but got no response. I am now being forced to go to another salon to fix it and spend even more money that I dont have. I had really high hopes for Indigo but am unfortunately rather unhappy with the result. I splurge on very few things now days and because of this I will probably be spending around 300 dollars for hair further away from the result I wanted than before I came in.I even attached photographs of what I showed the stylist and then the finished product to make it extremely obvious that something was not done correctly.I was hoping a new hairstyle would brighten me up and get me out of a winter slump but I am now more stressed about the entire situation.

This was my fourth or fifth visit to Indigo and I had the worst customer experience. I was booked for a 5:15 appointment and showed up at 5:28pm to be precise. And had spoken to Ashley over the phone at 5:20 confirming I will be there few mins late which she said was fine. i get here and then they turn me back. If timing was so tight that they could not accommodate 13 mins delay (after saying yes on the phone), why would they schedule such a way. Never coming back. This is by far my favorite salon! I have been going here for around three years now and I always am satisfied with my look. The customer service is amazing and the building itself is beautiful! Deff my number one salon. I won’t go anywhere else!

Rip-off, stay away from it. They made me buy $120 worth of hair products promising they would give the money back if it didnt work. Just after a week, when I tried to return it, they totally lied and said that their policy is to not refund money. Its a horrible customer service and haircut is sloppy.
My husband and I come here for massages and pedicures regularly. We have yet to be disappointed. The vibe is professional yet friendly- which is perfect!

I love this place I go get massages mostly Im a hairstylist and have never used their salon Ive had a couple bad pedicures there but it was just because I got same person twice (its more her personality that doesnt work for me) if I had one complaint it would be its in a old house and I cant do the steps there is a very small elevator they let me use because of my back but I think that would deter some from coming back
This was my salon when I lived in Canton 2 years ago. Now that Im out in Brighton, I *still* make the trek back to Cherry Hill for my favorite spot for hair and nails. The service cannot be beat!

2017-06-28I had box dye in my hair and I was looking for a subtle balayge, so I was recommended by a friend to go to Marlee and this salon because I was told she was good with color. Keep in mind, I have not box dyed my hair in a year so there would be two colors when bleaching the hair; which I understood. I had my appt set for Friday, but I received a call Thursday morning asking if I could re-schedule as she would no longer be in on Friday. I arrived and showed her a picture of the subtle look I was looking for. She did mention that box dye would look brassy, which was okay with me since I had about 6 inches of non dyed hair. Once it was all done and dried I was shown a piece of my hair from the side(not the entire results that include the back of my head) and it was two different colors. I agreed to receiving toner in an attempt to make the two colors blend. I left the salon and went home like the normal. Once I was able to see the entire results of my hair, you could see how bad it was. The base of my head which had not been dyed, had thick strips of just blonde hair and the other side of my hair did not! So Friday I called in the morning and asked to come in and try to fix it/speed up the next step. I explained to them that it looked really bad and how I couldnt believe they would let someone walk out of their salon with completely two different tones of hair.I told them I did not want to wait until 2 weeks like I originally had booked my next appt. The girl reluctantly said I could some in for a consultation on Tuesday and so I agreed to it. However, I could not wear my hair down due to the fact that it looked so terrible so I went to a salon in Novi on Monday where they immediately addressed my issues and showed me how the amount of highlights/balayge wasnt evenly distributed throughout my hair. I called them today and I was told by the manager that since I didnt follow their policy and go back with them to get it fixed, that no refund could be done. Mind you, I was never aware of their policy and what it entailed. I was under the impression that the owner is all about customer service from word of mouth, but it is apparent that not even for their clients that are in a scenario like this, will they offer a refund of $80. It was great that they offered a new client discount but I dont think even $80 was worth what I paid. Im not sure if my stylist was just ready to go home or what, but I would not recommend this place and Ill be sure to tell everyone I know in the Canton area to go elsewhere.

2021-07-17I had an amazing massage with Valerie. She was absolutely wonderful, I left with all my knots resolved. I would highly recommend her and will book with her again and again. I had a pedicure with Audrey who was amazing and did an excellent job, very friendly and personable. My hair was cut and styled by Casey who rocked my mom-look lol. She was really sweet and did a great job. All the services provided today, with my pick 3 spa card, were professional friendly and on time ... which I appreciated so much. Staff checked in with me often and made sure I had water and anything else I needed. It was clean and relaxing. I Will be back again and again and again...

Kate also has great pricing for her services!The salon offers many services, is large, clean and has a cute boutique you can shop in for hair & bath products, clothing & jewelry etc.I highly recommend stopping in and checking the place out!

2021-08-25I scheduled an appointment here for my son (14yrs) because we live in the neighborhood and Ive been there once before for some spa services. Our stylist was changed at the last minute which I didnt understand but it didnt matter anyway bc they all seem to be amazing. He ended up getting his cut with Natalie and she was very sweet and was able to relate to him and the current styles of haircuts that boys his age are going with. She was very thorough and I could tell that she cut HIS hair, she didnt just give him a hair cut. She kept going back and watching at how his hair moved, how it wanted to lay on its own. I appreciate that SO MUCH! It looks great and hes happy with it too. We will DEFINITELY be back! Hopeful with Natalie 👍
