Newly renovated and gorgeous. Flat screen tvs. Several Bbq grills available. Picnic tables and completely clean linen for every guest. Even the sheets and comforter. Perfect mattresses. First good night of sleep in a long time.

Dont even consider this dump!! This is the dirtiest, most disgusting motel I have ever stayed in. The carpet hasnt been vacuumed or cleaned in ages and has sand and lint stuck in the stains. The water from the faucet runs out brown into a sink stained brown and blue. The couch is stained, cobwebs hanging everywhere, curtains are falling off the rods and the tv had some dried white stuff sprayed across it (didnt investigate that too closely)! I was afraid to try out the dark shower. You would be better off sleeping on the beach at the lake.

I needed a place to stay for 2 days while visiting family. It was an urgent need and the Inland Lake Motel registration person was wonderful. She understood my problem and cheerfully worked with me. The room was exactly what I needed. The room was new, fresh, clean quiet just perfect. I would highly recommend The Inland Lake Motel!!
Great motel at a good price! Clean! Well-stocked kitchenette area. Good size mini-fridge. Clean bathrooms. Comfy bed. I absolutely loved that all the pillows were different so I could definitely find my favorite (squishy) kind. First world problems and a picky sleeper but I love when the options are there. (Yet I still brought my own - gray - pillow, pictured.) Quiet at night. My only small gripe would be there were not curtains on the windows and the light from the outside lighting was definitely bright at night. Quick responses from the management.

2022-07-10Good place to stay for a weekend. Rooms were pretty good for the most part. Pillows were a little hard and some flat.Bathroom door isnt the best layout. Cant open or close it if your infront of the sink, have to stand back by tub to have room to walk and the biggest thing was not being able to control the temperature of the room. It was auto set to 70 and you had to inquire about lowering it. I did inquire and was told it couldnt be changed since it went across all rooms.Wasnt a deal breaker the fan worked for the few nights stay.Overall it was a clean decent place and would stay again if in the area.

2022-06-14From beginning to end was an easy simple experience! Rooms were clean and had some comforts of home. Coffee was amazing! Teri and her husband were very accommodating and friendly. Close to alot of stores and shops. Bonfire pit..grills..was exceptional. I will be booking again!

2022-06-19Amazing property. The Olneys have done a great job with this property. The property was clean, well taken care of and comfortable.The Olneys themselves are exceptional hosts and easily accessible if something was needed.The location was perfect for the price. Most places 30 minutes north at Mackinaw City were twice the price and looked pretty rough. So we were excited to find this location which beat all expectations for a better price.We will definitely be coming back to stay at one of their properties on our next visits to the Upper Peninsula.

Loved the layout of the rooms and how beautifully renovated they are the new owners to the great job love the fresh ground coffee in every room and the microwave refrigerator and all the amenities including the free laundry service that is available and a nice area outside with barbecues and a fire pit so you can enjoy I would highly recommend staying here

2022-05-31The room was very clean and neat and had all of the amenities you can imagine, for grilling and just regular cooking in your room. There is a bon fire pit for the evening with chairs and picnic table. Great place to go for a get away.

2022-04-09We stayed in the large suite. Beautiful kitchen, furniture, decor, and floors throughout! Has plenty of room for the whole family with three bedrooms and a pullout couch. Nice size private deck. You can save a lot of money here by making your own meals in the full sized kitchen - including dishwasher. The icemaker in the full-size fridge works great! Getting to Inland Lakes Motel is easy - its within a quarter mile of exit 313 on I75! We really enjoyed our stay!

2022-01-13Around 18 years ago my family n I stayed there. We rolled into town for a job (my father and husband are electricians)… I was 8 months pregnant and I already had a 1-year-old. We got off the exit in Indian River stopped and asked about a hotel or somewhere to stay someone suggested this place saying , that was cheap clean & close. Turns out yes it was even close to the job site. I found the place claiming quiet quaint peaceful... They are tucked in off the highway it would make a great weekend get away to hide from the world. Plus your close enough to get to major city of Cheboygan, bonus not far from the bridge to the U.P...love staying there people the owners were so friendly made sure we had anything we needed.
