Steve does a wonderful job! Our laptop began acting strange so we took it to Internet City and Steve did the diagnostics. Our hard drive was failing. He replaced the hard drive for a reasonable fee and reinstalled Windows 10. The work was done in a timely manner. We are very satisfied.
I brought in a computer that had a mess load of problems. Steve was very well informed and was able to break it down for me in a way I could understand ( I myself do not deal with computers and this is my first custom built pc.) He had the parts I needed in his shop and the parts I wanted he ordered for me and put everything together when it arrived. He downloaded windows 10 for me and got it to the point I could take it home and start my downloads. The price for him to order, build and download windows 10 was not as expensive as I thought it would be. He also offered to answer any questions that might pop up, all he told me to do was call him. I would recommend Steve and Internet City Computers for your trusted computer repair needs!

Amazing computer repair service. Shop owner was incredibly friendly, always willing to help, was extremely fast and ran circles around customer support or anyone else I reached out to. Consider myself a lifetime customer as long as that shop stays open. Prices were insanely fair and honestly almost too cheap for the level of quality. Would suggest to anyone.
Steve is great. Straight shooter. Tremendously more capable than geek squad, who could not fix my issue after charging me 200$, and completed my repair for about half what bestbuy charged in an afternoon without issue. Spend your money here.
Took my Apple iMac in for repair with plans to leave it for a few days. They called me back in a few hours saying it was fixed and ready for pick up. Solid Business! Recommend over Geek Squad.
I bought a new computer and brought it in for a data transfer from old computer, and new computer setup. Steve was able to get all of it done the same day, and the prices are very reasonable. I will definitely go back to him with all my computer needs. Great experience.

Walked in (no appointment needed) and I met Steve. I came in for laptop problems; my system had many viruses and it got so bad, I could no longer use my laptop. He knew immediately the issues I was having and I left him with my laptop. Not knowing him at all, I was a bit leery of course but he made me feel very comfortable with his professionalism and knowledge, I walked out no longer leery. He called me back that same day! Although I couldnt get back to pick it up until the next day, but when I did, Steve explained to me in detail what happened and what not to do and what to watch for, so that problem didnt happen again. He also ordered a new battery for me which was very helpful! I got my laptop home, fired it up and it was all cleaned up!!! It was such a relief and I was so happy. Im still happy and very pleased that I found my new go to guy for my laptop. Thanks Steve, much appreciated!
Very honest, friendly and dependable. Steve will always be up front whats wrong with your computer and what it cost for him to fix it. He does a great job. My computer has been to him twice once cause it was running slow and the other was so he could put my pics on a flash drive.Hes so good I drive 3 hours for all my computer needs.

Great place and great service! I took my sons laptop with a brand new hard drive in because we were having storage issues and I thought he needed a bigger hard drive. That actually wasnt the case! They were honest with me about what the problem actually was and didnt try to over charge! After he fixed the problem my son has all the storage space he needs and his laptop is running Great!! Bought a Dell mini from them used. Since it was used it had a couple issues. I took it back up there in the owner took care of it real quick. In addition, he also gave me some quick lessons on operation and maintenance of laptop. Since I have a business, I would definitely be returning.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR LAPTOP TO THIS PLACE!!! I took my MacBook Pro in for a simple screen replacement! My laptop now doesn’t turn on at all! And they don’t want to take any responsibility for ruining it. They were very rude to me when they are the ones who ruined it. Never trust a place that doesn’t even have you sign any kind of contract for their work. I’m assuming they do this in the case that they do ruin something, you don’t have any proof they even had your item. That’s VERY shady! My laptop is only 2 years old and I may have to purchase a new one.

I had two old laptops that werent working and wanted the data transferred off. Didnt really know where to go or who to ask to help but Im glad Steves business was the first to pop up on Google. I was impressed by how fast he worked on my stuff, (only took about 4 days or so and the majority of that was waiting on me to bring in an external HD) and also the fact that he took time to explain the issues to me in a non-techy way that was easy to understand. Although not all my data could recovered (not his fault), he managed to bring my old MacBook back to life! I thought it would be garbage after this but to my surprise I now have a fully functioning, up-to-date Mac for pocket change compared to what they cost brand new. Would highly recommend Steve!!
Steve is on his 3rd store and Ive followed him around and have been to all of them. Hes extremely reasonable when it comes to computer repair. Hes honest, trustworthy and wont steer anyone wrong. Ive had my and my wifes lap top in many times due to various issues. All fixed as if brand new. We have also purchased several used lap tops from him and my wife is currently using one of those today. All great deals and all worked as if brand new. The Desk Tops he sells are also in the same working order.Ive sent a number of very good friends to Steves store to have their own personal computers repaired and they continue to go back to him because of his honesty and price. One of our good friends appreciated Steves work so much, he went out to a market and presented to him a big basket of fresh fruit to take home.Steve has rebuilt/updated my desk top computer several times, in fact Im posting this note using it. Its been approximately 6, maybe 7 years ago that I met Steve for the first time with my broken down computer in hand and never looked back. Steves my main man when it comes to computers and their inner workings. Hes extremely knowledgeable in this field. Ive even seen State Police and County Sheriff cars in front of his store because he works on the computer systems in their squad cars.Before I met Steve, I can remember having computer issues and took it in to Best Buy for the Geek Squad to look at. I had two hard drives installed in it. After a full weeks worth of time, they removed one of hard drives because they said it was bad and gave me some discs with back up files on it for a sum of approx. $350.00. I come to find out through my brother-in-law, who works on computers and tested the drive, in the State of Kentucky, that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the disc drive they pulled out. Go Figure. I can attest that you will never have this issue with Steve, and the cost of repair will be astronomically lower than what I paid at Best Buy.Thank you Steve for your honesty, integrity, helpfulness, friendliness, and truthfulness. Whenever I hear when talking to someone with a computer issue, your the first one I think of to send them to and will continue to do so.
Ive been there a few times to transfer pc parts to other cases, and hes always professional about the work he does. Everything always works, and his pricing is some what fair. He knows what hes doing.
Steve is AWESOME! I bought a crappy computer about 3 years ago, and the past 6 months it was giving me issues. I brought it to Steve and he fixed it every time! After the third time, I bought one of his refurbished PCs. He made sure everything was transferred over from the old PC, and that the new one was working good. I could not have got what I gotanywhere else! You have a customer for life!!!! I would have no problem at all referring Internet City Computers to anyone!
I had an old broken laptop that I really wanted to fix mainly because of my old pictures and documents and Steve gave me a good price to fix it but he also let me know that it might not be worth it to fix it. Long story short, I bought a used laptop from him at a great price and he was able to transfer all my information to that laptop. Definitely recommend this place.
I try to shop local and patronize the mom and pop businesses as much as possible. Shipping my computer off to be repaired or waiting for the youngsters at Best Buys computer repair is NOT an option. I stumbled upon Internet City at their old location on Ford and followed them to their new location on Warren. The owner, Steve, has repaired my computers multiple times now and has always resolved the problems quickly, professionally, and without loss of any files. Each time, he has managed to save me a lifetime of frustration and retrieved files and emails that I would be lost without. He is extremely knowledgeable, fair and reasonable with his repair prices. I also appreciate the fact that I can ask him for advice on a particular question I may have about a computer or a type of software and he always provides great advice. If you want someone who is competent, isnt trying to sell you equipment or services you dont need, and is honest and gets your computer or laptop back up and running like a charm, then Internet City is the place to take your computer to. I continue to give Internet City 5 stars as they continue to provide great service and worked with me through several hiccups with my laptop. Unfortunately for me, this time, I needed a new laptop as mine was shot. They told me that it only had a few years left when I took it there a few years ago. They were right. I needed a new laptop and ended up purchasing a rebuilt laptop from them and its working just fine. They handled the transferring of all of my data, clearing the motherboard and disposing of the old laptop. Internet City is my go to place for computer related issues!
I would not recommend this place to purchase a refurbished computer. I had nothing but problems with the computer I bought from Steve,after a great sales pitch I decided to not get a new one,and regretted it. I had so many problems with the refurbished computer,I had to end up buying a new one. When I tried to deal with Steve his attitude was absolutely horrible. The first things he said were I do not give refunds & the computer worked fine when I tested it. The guy is friendly & nice up until you have a problem. He then is smug jackass. Rather then repeatedly deal with him It was easier just to junk his piece of crap computer & get a new one. BUYER MAKE SURE YOU PAY WITH A CREDIT CARD,so you can at least dispute charges. I wasted almost $400 on refurbished junk....
I showed him a screenshot of the error that the computer was saying. he was able to diagnosis the problem. I needed a new hard drive and he was also able to update the windows system and installed an antivirus program. I was very pleased with the work that was done.

Just needed a sticky keyboard cleaned and he took care of it in an hour. Have also taken three laptops for software problems which he solved quickly. Really pleasant to deal with and would reccomend him to anyone.

Took my computer in with a cant connect to the internet problem. The owner, Steve, talked to me about my problem. He told me to come back the next day and the repair was done when I got there. Charge was $55 as stated. I still had a small problem with getting connected when I took the computer home. Steve advised me on the phone and eventually the problem was solved. The computer is running real well.I would use this business again.

Just stepped in to see if it was possible to do some programming work on my laptop for a specific type of software. Im sure the labor required and the program licensing would have been a lot more than the alternative he offered. Instead I got a different computer to do the job without having to modify my current one. Offering me a stand-alone solution rather than bogging down my current one as well. Really appreciate not trying to upsell everything. No pushiness no you need this or you need that just straight forward and honest like it should be. Great asset to this community! Brought my computer in had malware issues, running hot and my browsers were crashing and freezing. Took it to Steve he removed all malware and had to take it back a second time due to crashing and freezing. Now its working like a charm. The service is awesome. I have been a customer of Steves since he was in his first store before moving twice because of his need for more space due to the outstanding work he does. Hes always been beyond fair with his prices and whats more important than anything, at least in my opinion, is that Steve is honest and truthful in his evaluations, repairs and sales.

Surface Laptop completely died on me while using it. Ive never seen anything like it. I tried to fix it myself by searching the internet on what was wrong. I actually got to a point a few times where I thought i had it figured out, but it would fail. I finally gave up and took it in to internet city. Dropped it off and the next day my computer was as good as new. A virus infected the Laptop and was preventing any type of work around to repair windows.
Steve is a wizard! My laptop had an ailing fan, which I ordered the part, originally intending to install it myself, but never found the time. So I called Internet City, and found the rate very reasonable, and brought the computer in. Turns out I bought the wrong part, and the only way to really tell was to take the computer apart to see the part number. But Steve was able to cannibalize the actual fan from the new part, using the remainder of the old fan housing to make it work. It was up and running early the next day. This is definitely the place to take your computer for repair.
Im so sorry I didnt write a review earlier. I am almost illiterate, when it comes to phones and tablets. I called him a couple months ago, and tried to explain my issue regarding an old, pretty out-of- date tablet. Steve, the guy with all the patience in the world, helped me! He even called the company, which doesnt manufacture that tablet, and then made another call with the carrier. He never made me feel uneducated, in fact, we had a few laughs. 2022-04-12Took computer in for damaged screen, was unable to replace. Did test computer and found no problems. Also activated anti virus program, and removed a virus like wave browser. It was suggested I use an external monitor. Did so without a problem. Only charged a bench fee. Would go back again if needed.

2022-07-07My laptop stopped charging I wasnt sure if it was the laptop or the cord. The guy tested it and gave me a call to tell me it was ready and I asked if its possible if he could collect payment from my car because my son fell asleep and he didnt even hesitate to do so. Im so thankful I didnt have to take a sleeping toddler out of my car. I also have a working laptop. Thanks a bunch!

2021-11-24Amazing service! Im a new business owner who needed a quality laptop for on the road. He had a few options to choose from and directed me to the perfect one to fit my needs. I was so impressed with his product I brought him my Uncles desk top, my Moms laptop, and my personal laptop all for a good cleaning/update and they all work like new! 2022-01-22My external hard drive malfunctioned, but the owner was able to recover all of my data and transfer it to a new drive within 4 days and at a reasonable cost. I wish I was financially able to pay him more for this service. Please come here before going to the larger (more expensive) computer repair servicers.

2021-11-13Brought in my desktop that was not starting up properly, the monitor was not displaying (root cause wasnt as straightforward as I thought it would be). Steve gave me a quick diagnosis of the problem the next day and offered me valuable information on how to get my PC fixed without burning a hole in my pocket / wallet. If I do happen to have any computer problems again I would trust his advice.

2021-03-11I sat on my laptop and ruined the screen. I knew for sure that my laptop was done for! I went on the hunt to find a computer repair shop, just in case my laptop could be saved. I stopped at one location and they said they could do nothing to save it. I decided to keep driving (I was on my way to Best Buy). On my way I saw Internet City Computers and stopped in. To my great surprise the owner said that he would in fact be able to fix my mangled screen and for a very reasonable price!! He was very kind and professional and he got the job done fast!! He had to order parts and fix my screen, I brought it in on a Monday and I got my laptop back on Wednesday! I am very pleased!!
