J & J Motor Sales in other cities:
The ladies that work there are nice, but the vehicle I purchased was not. A week after buying the car, the check engine light came on and I had to take it to the dealership. First time I had to pay over $900 for the issues, second time they were going to charge me over $3000! So after this experience I would not recommend this place AT ALL! (I also called them so I could bring in my car and the guy I spoke with told me that I could bring it in at ANYTIME, only to have them tell me that I should have brought it in earlier!?)
Went here to look for a second car. The staff was very pleasant to work with. The cars adorable, and an all around good experience. Know that when you are buying an inexpensive car that is what you get. They also have higher end cars but I was looking for a sub $2500 car in decent shape, they had the best choices. Got a nice Jetta, it was rust free in mi. So that was a plus. Look the car you want over and they will fix what you find before sale, at least that was my experience. Also they will work with you on repairs in the future. When looking for cheap cars I dont think they can be beat. Loved my experience, and my car. Have had it almost 3 months and it makes a good spare car. Would buy there again.
My experience was ok. I went through 2 different auto transporters trying to get someone to pick up the truck, a 1999 Ford F150, and bring it back to Ohio (about a 6-7 hour drive) and neither of them did it. In the end, the staff at J&J Motor Sales met me at the Gerald R. Ford Airport in Grand Rapids and I drove it home.Keep in mind, I know I am getting an 18 year old truck I looked it over when I landed in Grand Rapids and noticed the following:- Upon inspection of the truck, I did find some rust (see pics) after they repeatedly said it was rust free.- Headliner was sagging and will need repaired/replaced- I smelled a slight scent of coolant but figured it was due to age. It did get stronger as I stopped. When I brought it home, I took it to the Ford dealer for inspection, and that is where things got worse. It needs seals for the transmission and other places, it needs exhaust work, and moreover, someone attempted a fix at the lower intake manifold (pictured) using JB Weld or something. That manifold has cost me over $1000 with parts and labor. I contacted J&J about this and they told me if they would have fixed it, they could have sold the truck for $4500. Why not sell someone a vehicle they dont have to fix up right away? They said because I got a deal, they would send me (and they did) $250.00 towards repair, even after I showed them pictures. Guess its better then nothing.Yes, I did buy the vehicle sight unseen because I needed a truck, but their description was not accurate of the mechanical condition of the truck as one expects. I would advise future customers to use some caution when buying from them as I am looking at over $2000 in repairs and maintenance when its all said and done. Have the vehicle looked over by the manufacturers trained technicians. I am sure the truck will turn out great, but I dont have the money to pour in to it right off the bat to make it run right. Its been sitting at the Ford dealership nearly a month rather then in my driveway and hip deep in paperwork in labor claims for the intake I bought as a replacement that failed. Not a good experience with this sale.Dont get me wrong, they did a lot for me and otherwise pleasant to deal with. I am just bummed I have to throw so much money in to a vehicle right off the bat is all. I just wish it was better described is all.
Bought an 05 Malibu from them was good for about 5 days before it started overheating so I called them back and they said to bring it by their shop, they kept it for 2 days and told me I was good to pick it up but nobody knew what had actually been fixed and literally on my way home it overheated again. I was not informed anything was wrong with it when I brought it and nothing under the hood looked like its any different then before.
Great prices on good cars! Most cars are in good condition with higher miles, around $6k-$10k, with some above and below. The lot looks small from the road, but it is very deep. You see 12 cars from the road, but there can be as many as 130 cars! Look at the Google map. NO WARRANTY on the high miles 2009 truck we got, but I do my own work, and will be doing all the preventative stuff on it. It will get all new fluids, timing belt, water pump, brake pads, and a few little things. For $6,500 it was about $1,000 below other Honda pickups. They seem to have low overhead, allowing them to sell for less.
Was treated poorly over facebook by one of their salesman. Asked for more details on a vehicle they posted and he told me that he would get me a carfax report. After not hearing from him for a few days I asked again and he told me the vehicle sold and should have actually come in and looked at it instead of procrastinating, car faxes actually cost money. Wont be shopping with them.
Bought a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix Friday 3/3/ 2017 for my son Daniel. Was amazed at how kind John was as we were out of town and had to come back in two days take it to Tolmans garage get it checked out before paying for it. He let us get it early and checked out in excellent condition - cant thank you John jr. enough for having the perfect car for my son Daniels first car.
Bought a 2010 Honda Civic for $5,400. Within weeks after purchase, it began killing at stops. When I immediately brought it back, they refused a return, and instead put Stop Leak in the radiator that caused even more damage, so I had to take it to my mechanic to prevent them from damaging it further. It had a blown head gasket and cracked block. I wound up having to replace the engine, then also the catalytic converter. My mechanic said he is sure they knew they sold me a bad engine because there were many signs. Thousands worth in repairs, and they offered only $300. This is NOT a fake review. My mechanic is a friend, and only charged me for parts! J & J sold me a bad engine, and shame on them for blaming my mechanic, or google. If they want to help now, they can refund my $, like they should have immediately done. They also knew I was a low income single mom, and not able to afford this, yet had no problem selling me a blown engine.
Where to start. Helped my friends daughter buy a car there. Single mom of a 1 year old, works hard, scraped money together to find a vehicle. After purchase when taking it in to have the brakes inspected found that the subframe is completely rusted out and it is totally unsafe to drive and will cost $3k to repair. Now single mom is without a vehicle and no way to get to work. Dishonest people to sell a vehicle that is totally unsafe. They will not even talk to her about it. Sad that a dealer would sell vehicle that is UNSAFE. If I could give zero stars I would.
I’ve purchased 2 cars from here and I recommend having them checked out by a mechanic before purchasing, both cars I bought had problems that I wasn’t told about, and the problems werent listed in the description. Other than that the customer service is excellent, they are very friendly and helpful.
Bought a Chevy Traverse here recently and they were super understanding about me taking it to a mechanic and let me test drive it for a couple hours. They were able to give me a good price due to the fact that the brakes needed some work and then help me out and got the work done there for half the price that another shop quoted me.So overall I not only got a great price in the car but I saved a bunch of money on my brakes getting done. The car has been great to me the last two weeks and I couldnt be happier.
The cars we test drove seemed to be in good condition and fairly priced! I would definitely shop here again in the future, if needed! We didnt find what we were looking for so we did not make a purchase. However, there were several cars that were very close to what we wanted.
They have a nice selection of vehicles, low/affordable prices. Their very kind and awesome to deal with all around. I purchased my eclipse (I love it) without any hassle, and they went above and beyond making iSure I was setup to drive off. Definitely would recommend J & J Motor Sales Sales!
Called them and they told me that they dont finance. Uh... so they think I have $10 - $12,000 just lying around to spend on a used car? Dont understand how they actually move cars. They also had only one used pickup truck when I checked - so not much in the way of selection either.
I bought a 2008 Mini Cooper about a year and a half ago from here. The staff was decent. Seemed friendly. I was really excited to get my mini because it was stylish and had low miles. Looked clean from what I could tell in the engine and interior. Radio screen didnt work well in the summer heat and buttons stuck. I paid 6000+fees for this car. Not even three months later, i found it had an oil leak. I didnt have a lot of money to fix it right away so it sat in my parents garage for a few months undriven until I could afford to fix it. I brought it to my mechanic and it cost roughly 600+ to fix it. I thought the problem was solved, but shortly after that, another issue appeared. Again, it had to wait because i just spent 600+ to fix it and its still unsafe to drive. I spent another 800+ fixing another part that had to do with oil leaking. Then after that, one of the cylinders in the engine stopped firing, making the car almost undrivable. Ive spent close to 2000$ on repairs and it was still undrivable. My sister also bought a car here thinking that they were nice and upfront, but she has had problems with her ac/heater and oil leaking too. I barely drove my mini for more than 6 months before I just sold it for parts because I was exhausted from all of the problems. This unfortunately has put me in a bind getting to and from school and being able to afford tuition with all the repairs. Honestly just really disappointed that this purchase turned out so poorly.
Firstly I never write reviews. I was in a pinch for a modestly priced vehicle and wanted to stay local so I went to J and J. I had checked out the lot of what they had after hours and I had my eye on one in particular. I went back the next day to take it for a test drive. When I tried to start it the battery was dead and also the tires needed air bad. The gas tank was on empty. It test drove ok but I decided to try every other car that caught my eye to do my due diligence and not rush into anything. The first one I wanted to try was sold. Why it was left out with the other cars I don’t know. While this was happening they left the first car the one I really wanted running to charge the battery but when I walked by the car it was overheating and gushing coolant everywhere. The temp gauge was pegged. I grabbed a guy but he seemed unfazed. Shaking my head I moved on to the next car. It was a white Jeep Nitro. It seemed ok at first but then on the return trip the car started loosing power and something started burning. I started looking for a place on the side of the road to bail thinking I was going to need a tow if the engine died. I made it back to the lot. I let the kid know what had happened and again he did not seem too concerned. They put the car back in its spot and it is still there. I saw some people looking at it yesterday and I wanted to yell at them to not to bother. From then on it was car after car of dead batteries. More then one with flat tires. I must have drove at least 8 cars. Every one of them had dummy lights on, some issue with basic functioning or in one Mini Clubman an unusable console due to some huge warning system. At least they admitted that it had a bad break sensor. I lost hope that I was going to find a drivable car. I talked to the owner about the car I wanted and the issues it had but all he had to offer was a shoulder shrug. I would have figured that he would of offered to have it repaired and give me some customer service but he did not. I’m tempted to go back and see if they just pushed it back into its spot to sell to some other idiot. Long story longer do not buy from this dealership. They buy cars at auction and just put them out on the lot and hope for the best. Maybe they buy a good car by chance. The sad part is that I needed a car badly before the next day so either my wife or I would not need a ride to work. I’m in home health care and need a trustworthy vehicle. I wasted half a day looking there and then had to hustle to another lot miles out of town to get the same make and model car that I wanted. That story ended well.Thats all I’ve got to say.
I bought a car from here and they do Not look their vehicles over. Ive spent a couple thousand dollars on repairs. The engine needed to be replaced (yikes!) along with ball joints, struts, battery etc. Please learn from my mistake and do not buy a vehicle from here without having it inspected first.Update: I didnt realize there was a response on here but it was the J&J on Lake MI Dr. in Allendale. Is that the correct place? I may have posted more than 6 months after buying. I love my car now. Just please have it inspected before buying.
I drove 30 minutes to see a vehicle that their associate told me was available and confirmed an appointment with me only to find out that they already had sold it the day before so it was a total waste of time the staff apologized but I can’t believe that their associate would have me drive out 30 min and tell me that the vehicle was available even though they had sold it the day before so be careful when doing business here. Might want to call the main office to confirm before driving there.
I bought my first car from them and owned it for a day. My boyfriends dad noticed a gas leak in it within 24 hours of me owning it. But how was I suppose to know, they gave it to me on empty. They wouldnt give me my money back, so I had to trade in what I had for a car of equal value. 4 days in, I had to replace my alternator. After my dad b!^@&ed them out for me, they replaced the alternator. Two days later, it died again. They said they were not responsible since they replaced it two days earlier. Not respectable at all. There cars had leaves and dirt in them with empty tanks and their office was as filthy as a rats hole. They told me I would have to fill up the tank to test drive their cars. I paid $2,000 for a $300 or less car. NOT A GOOD DEALERSHIP! RUN NOW! I warned you. Contact me if you want actual references, pictures, and receipts from the encounter. Reports have been filed on the company. They are only getting 1 star because that is the lowest Google will let me go. This dealership should no longer be in business. They are crocks.
When the car I came for showed signs of eminent failure these guys took it very seriously and didnt try to convince me to buy anyway. They stayed after close to make sure I was satisfied before closing for the night, and I found another car on their lot I loved. The next day I came in to buy and they gave me a discount for the first car not being perfect. They treated me like family and I would definitely buy from them again.
I recently bought a Saturn Vue from them for my 16 year old daughter. They were very friendly people and everything seemed good. When we picked it up the service engine light was on. They claimed that was being fixed. We brought it back later that week once the parts were in. They got the light to go off. It came back a week later.During the test drive the rear breaks were grinding. They said they would fix it and when I returned later they said they had fixed it. 2 weeks after owning it we have rear brakes grinding again. I bring it in to our mechanic and he had to show me. They had replaced the brake pads and rotor on one side and not the other. Pads are sold in pairs and that is just shady business, knowing full well that the other side is going to need to be replaced very soon. Now the pads and rotor on that side are being replaced again. They also were supposed to replace the antenna on the roof that was broken, but instead just glued it down after I specifically said that was not going to be acceptable. I did get them to stand behind that shady repair in writing.I would not do business with this place again. Most of the cars they stock are junkers. The ones that look nice seem to have a lot of mechanical issues.
I am giving a rating of two stars because I was treated very politely and the ladies in the office were very courteous. The vehicles I looked over need to be priced at wholesale slightly over trade in value. Both vehicles I looked at were priced hundreds over private party and this is expected at a dealership but this dealership had done practically nothing to inspect or recondition a 2009 and a 2011. The 2011 had to be jump started and the vehicle had very low coolant. I had to check to see if there was any coolant in the radiator. leaves in the engine compartment. very dirty. then the 2009 cadillac would not start. after the ladies jump started it i noticed the fuel tank was completely empty. they gave me $10 in cash to put some fuel in the vehicle. the interior was not detailed or clean. smokers car. the car was ok on the test drive, besides the major charging system malfunctioning that was the next real problem. the warning light came on during the test drive. autozone next to the gas station tested it. bad alternator. got back to the dealership. shut off the car. it would not restart. likely a problem with the starter relay. reason for reviews is to provide suggestions to the business and give consumers a heads up. J and J please improve on simple things it is rude to ask a customer to put fuel in a car on empty. make sure you start all the vehicles regularly to avoid dead batteries and do not put cars that will not start on the sales lot! you also may want to detail (wash and wax/buff scratches-(clean upholstery) if you plan to sell cars for like $800 more than private party values. in its condition the cadillac cts asking 6,000 is in fair condition less $500 for the electrical system problems Id say its worth $4,500. My guess is this vehicle needs a lot more fixing than the alternator otherwise the dealer would fix that before selling it. Please dont try to sell a car to someone who does not know any better. step up the game, fix the car, detail it. then its worth paying 6500 or 7k otherwise price it at wholesale $3500-4,000.
DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THESE PEOPLEWe bought a car from them recently with nothing but problems. Took it for a little test drive which yielded good results, so we moved forward into asking some questions. Every question we had, they answered with kindness assuring that we had nothing to worry about it.Turns out, the head gasket on this car was blown and they did not tell us. About three days after getting it home, it wouldnt stop overheating. We also asked if they AWD worked and they assured us it did. Turns out the REAR DRIVE SHAFT WAS REMOVED and they never mentioned it.Tried to go back to get some help but they were very clear that they would not help us or make it right in any way. Stay far away from this place.
L9venmt new vehicle and Id say I got a great deal. Thanks to the 2 gals they are awesome and they letbuctest drive what u need and want so u know how the vehicle is running and thry will fix things up before I buy. i like the way they do bussiness it makes things easier I think both ways for them and us and your offered alotbmore choice of vehicles to go through u drive enough u will get a great deal. They have lots of vehicles there so go and do lots of test drives.
Absolutely the best experience I have had when shopping for a vehicle! They do not use high pressure selling, yet they work hard to help you find the right vehicle. Honest and friendly service. They are all about making their customers happy! I will definitely recommend this place to friends and family. It will also be my first stop in future car shopping!
Just bought a jeep from them a couple months ago and the jeep was deemed unsafe to drive because both front and rear crossmember frames are rotted out. I was driving this vehicle with my six year old son in the the car. Im not saying not to buy a car here but buyer beware. Make sure to bring a mechanic or bring it to a shop before buying a vehicle from here
Hubby and I went this morning and test drove a handful of vehicles. The lady who helped us was very kind. Most every car had an issue, mainly cosmetic, but some mechanical. One car wouldnt start without making sure the shifter was in just the right spot, it also had a squeaky belt. Another car we drove had the check engine light on and a rough idle, and another had extremely loud exhaust and no visor on the drivers side. Most cars had scratches, dents, and we saw one that had a hole in one of the taillights, and another had a huge chunk missing out of the grill. Again, very nice people, but not the lot for everyone. Also, they dont do financing, so youd need to find your own.
J & J is so nice an understanding, I changed my mind on a vehicle and they were more than helpful. I had an issue with my vehicle 3 weeks later and they offered to look at it, (it was an easy fix so we did it our self) but it was nice to know they were willing to help! Will defiantly go back when my son is ready to buy
We had such a nice experience working with everyone. They were super nice and helpful. We also brought our 2 year old golden retriever with us and they played with him and let us take him on a test drive with us. We would definitely come back and do business with them again.
While the owner came off as a decent fellow, the experience was less than satisfactory and I am more than happy I didnt purchase a vehicle off of this junkyard. 80% of the cars I looked at had some of the most crappy interiors Ive seen. Then, I test drove a Jeep I originally had my eye on and it had a slight knock in the engine and the steering wheel had issues. I went here originally thinking highly of them because they sold my brother a VW that had no issues whatsoever... For 2 weeks, lol. Hes had to put over $350 in repairs into his car and hasnt had it for all but a month, tops. Go to a reputable dealer folks. These people have nothing to lose and will easily make a come-up off an individual with little car knowledge. Be safe!!
They turned off the check engine light, sold us the car and less than 2 miles down the road, we found out it has a catastrophic intake problem. After talking about returning customers for a month or so, they stopped returning my emails. $5000 well wasted. Honesty and good customer service brings returning customers and recommendations...but turning off the check engine light and rushing someone out the door doesnt.UPDATE:. I talked to them today and confirmed this is the dealership. This bad review will stay up until they make good on their word to fix the car.Another update, John the salesman will only return your call of you are buying a car. Im tired calling him when he says he will call me back!!Stay Awayyyy!!!
Horrible experience with them. I live in Tennessee and I was in a sticky situation where my truck got totaled while visiting family back in October so I went and test drove a few of their vehicles and I bought a 2002 jeep and they gave us a in transit plate and said they where mailing me the title of my jeep. Well its now coming up on 6 weeks without my title meaning Im driving around an illegal vehicle with a piece of paper saying the title got lost in the mail. Well the title got lost in the mail 4 weeks ago. Meaning they where suppose to get me a duplicate of the title to get my vehicle legal down here in Tennessee but i cant register it without the title. So a week ago we called and they said they would get it shipped to us that week. Well a week later they still have not gotten a duplicate title yet. So I am sitting here waiting for another like 3 weeks before I might see my title for my jeep. So Ive been renting a vehicle that is costing me 600 dollars cause my perfectly drivable vehicle I bought can not be driven! This is beyond rediculous and we are getting real tired of all the games. This is about me being able to get to and from work and I cant do that without being worried about getting a ticket or worse getting my vehicle impounded for them being irresponsible and careless when it comes to their customers. I will never ever recommend this place to anyone ever again nor will I ever do business with them again.
I loved buying my car here! The people were very friendly and helpful! When I had a problem they did their best to try and fix it and I appreciate the fact that they seem to really care about their customers and not only about selling cars like a lot of car dealerships.I will definitely go back!
Honestly Im not even sure this place deserves one star. My husband and I test drove a car from here and we took it to a mechanic for a pre-purchase inspection, during which the mechanic called us into the back to look at the car because the frame was completely rusted out from the bottom and he said that the car should not even be legally drivable and that J&J should not have even let us drive it off the lot in the condition it was in. When we got back to J&J and explained what we were told, the person working with us blew it off and asked us if we wanted to test drive another car, to which we politely declined. The mechanic also told us that they FREQUENTLY get cars from J&Js to work on because the owners got suckered into it. This place is not as honest as they seem. Buyer beware!
Please please do your self a favor and never stop at J & J Motor Sales. Not only did they sell me a car with major preexisting problems. They also played games with who to talk to discuss my problems. Only when they knew they screwed up did I get to talk to the owner. Then the owner gave the response Call the manufacturer, I didnt make the car just shows how low class a dealership this is. I only rated them one star because it wouldnt let me rate them any lower.
They sell good cars at cheap prices. Dont put money down if you dont plan on buying the car. Thankfully I got my money back after finding a better deal. However, they wont dont do this anymore so make sure you are 100% sure youll buy the car if you put money down to hold it.
Bought a car from this place 6/12/18, 2 days later the battery died and I paid $140 for a new battery and they refunded half. 10 days later 6/24/18 I took the car for an oil change and was told that the car had not received an oil change in what seemed like well over a year. The car had a bad engine and I paid 2600 to get my car fixed after having it for less than 2 weeks. I’m young and I was in such a rush to get a car I didn’t have a mechanic check it out so that is my fault, but long story short make sure you get any vehicle from this place properly inspected before purchasing!!
If I could give less than one star, I would. Lesson: Buyer be wary and take the car to YOUR mechanic to have it checked over before considering a purchase at J&J Sales! My niece and I test drove a few filthy junkers in the back yard before we ended up buying one that appeared to be a gem at the front of the lot. My niece no more than drove it off the lot and the check engine light came on. We contacted the J&J Motor Sales to notify them of the problem. They diagnosed it as being a TPS switch and said they would repair it for $500. We checked around at a dealership and found out the repair was almost half of what they were going to charge. So, given we couldnt trust the car lot, we took it a repair shop to figure out what was wrong with it and to see if anything else was faulty. Of course, many diagnostic codes came up... two related to TPS and TFP Switch and four related to the HO2S code. The repair shop couldnt perform the transmission repairs, so we took it to a reputable dealership in GR.The second inspection and diagnosis included the same diagnosis and even worse news. Someone had unplugged an O2 sensor so the car would actually run without rough idle and without chugging like it would stall. The technician worked on the car for a day and a half and even had to call the Technical Assistance Center for guidance because even after further inspecting and trying to isolate the potential issues, the technician was stumped. TAC told them that other like cases that exist were remedied by replacing the engine harness. We were told that its likely replacing the engine harness wouldnt be the complete fix and there would be further repairs needed. In the meantime, we drove the car to J&J Sales again to let them know we either wanted them to repair all the issues at no cost or we wanted our money back. Well, you can guess what we were told... The most costly mistake of my life - $5000 gone...
DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE When I drove out to Allendale to look at a Jeep, I was told by the salesman that they dont fix anything thats wrong with the vehicle until they sell it because they just take the vehicles back to auction. I bought the Jeep and J & J wrote on the bill of sale that they would fix the reason the engine light was on. They called me and told me that everything had been fixed and the Jeep was ready to pick up. When I got there the engine light was still on. I was in a rush so I left to some things done. Not even a month later the Jeep wont go into reverse. I take it to my mechanic who says the reason the engine light was on is that I need a $3,000 transmission rebuild. I paid fair blue book for the Jeep. Which was $3,300. So I called them to see if they would do the right thing. The manager, Craig, told me that because I had talked to a lawyer that he couldnt say anything else. He gave me the name of his lawyer. I call that lawyer. I find out this lawyer doesnt even represent J & J. When asked which lawyer represents them, they said they dont really have one. Needless to say, I am going to be calling the Secretary of State and asking for an investigation into their license. Dont do business with these people.
*****DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM HERE*****When I turned 16 I spent all my savings on a car at J and J auto, they assured me and my mother that there were absolutely no problems with the car, then after just 2 days the muffler fell off the car so I took it back and they said that they had fixed it. About 3 days after that it fell off again, so I took it back and was very firm and told them that the muffler fell off Again and that the cars turning is really bad and they said they would fix it. So I went back to pick it up,I was driving and THE MUFFLER FELL AGAIN. So I took it to a local mechanic school and they had told me that the car would need 1,800 dollars worth of work. From the axel to the shocks to the muffler. They had also told me that j and j was was just doing patch work on the muffler and wasnt actually fixing it. When I explained all this to j and j, they said theres nothing we can do.This is a very shady company. For your sake do not purchase a vehicle from J and J auto.
So I brought a car from here and they are cheap people and they Lie too. So that car I brought they told me that the battery in the car was new but its wast, I had a 2012 year battery in the car still and found that out then I had the battery change after my car didnt start 3 days after I brought the car. Second I was driving home from work at 2am and I lost my breaks and almost crashed the car. So if you are thinking about buying a car from here, Please have someone with you that know a lot about cars.
Just recently bought a Chevy Malibu from J&J. Couldnt help but notice all the great cars on the lot with VERY reasonable prices. I was referred to them and would happily reccomend J&J to anyone in the market for a used car. All the workers have tons of experience and will give you straight-forward, honest answers to your questions.Easilt 5 stars.
I wont get into the specifics of our dealings w/ this business. All I am going to say is DONT-DONT -DONT they rig check engine light, so it stays off for a few days un til they have your money.. can I get 100 likes.look how many likes the 1 stars are getting... not a good place.WHAT! so untrue, there is no dealing with some one that will not tell the truth. all those that are unhappy with this place file a complaint with the B.B. B.. yes and alot of 1 stars, thats it J and J you have to look in the mirror every day, but me and alot of others know how you operate
Please people DONT BUY CARS FROM HERE! I bought a car from here and it only lasted 1 month and the timing belt went out. I was told by GMC dealership they did something to the Check engine light at this j&j auto place so I couldnt see there was something major going on with this vehicle. They were rude to me at j&j when I showed them the dealership statement and basically kicked me out of their office for requesting help with the lemon they sold me for $7,000.
Its sad just from seeing these rude unprofessional remarks to customers or potiental customers makes me or possibly others not want to even consider this dealership when buying a vehicle. Doesnt matter if they are right or not! You should be trying to satisfy your customer! Idc how many cars you have sold, shame on you for your HORRIBLE customer service bcs eventually WORD OF MOUTH IS EVERYTHING. Please do not waste your time with an ignorant remark! God Bless you and have a good day.
I know these guys but you still get 4 stars just to piss you off lol. The boys in the back will take care of you here. The girls that deal with payments are nice and amazing with helping out with any concerns. Everyone here likes to have fun while getting things done. A few recurring customers use j and j. So must be doing something right. But heck Im bias but still wouldnt lie to anyone. I would like them if they were sketchy.
They sold me a car that I had since February and only drove it for a week. They told me they would help fix it just found out whats wrong, I did that told them and then they told me they wasnt go help. I been trying to figure out still why and they still havent called me or answered the question......They dont care they just took my money and will do anyone like this ....please stay away from them

2022-05-14Super nice owner and employees. Bought a car that started having an issue a few days after purchasing and they fixed it for free and gave me a different car to drive while mine was getting repaired. They take good care of customers 😊 I have a feeling the people giving 1 star reviews just didnt communicate any issues they had.

2022-02-18My wife bought her 07 Honda element from them. We had a great experience. The staff were very nice and not pushy like some other dealerships. During the drive home some warning lights came on, we contacted them and they told is to bring it back and they fixed the issue. One other thing. When we bought the car the license plate attachment bolts were stuck and I believe the mechanics name is Dave who at this time was not in the clock and getting ready to leave took the time to fix this before he left.

2022-06-21Extremely poor service. They lost the title, still don’t have plates months later. Decent price for the make, model, year and mileage. Car and office both reeked of smoke but we were willing to do the work of cleaning the car for the price and we purchased on a nice day when we could head outside for fresh air breaks. Some body work and minor repairs needed on the car but with an inflated used car market we saw it as a good learning experience for our teen to help make those fixes with us. Office was very busy so we didn’t get a lot of time to ask questions and the transaction took a long time. Office was also extremely dirty with dirt caked everywhere. Overall the experience was on the low side of average, maybe 3 stars. But then we took it home, the temporary paper license expired and still no plate in the mail. After lots of phone tag with “the person who does that” out of the office, we finally heard they had lost the title. We call every other day now. When Shelly answers, and she tells us to speak to Mary Ella. When Mary Ella answers she says she has to ask Shelly. A week later still no license plate. A week after that still no license plate. Every time we call we hear it will arrive “soon”. We bought a car we cannot even legally drive almost 2 months after the purchase date. This is ridiculous. Do not recommend J&J.

2022-06-30Great people to work with, Craig was very nice, the ladies in the office are super sweet, let me look the vehicle down left to right top to bottom without standing over my shoulder. Only place thats ever offered to reimburse me for gas if I had to put some in on a test drive. 10/10 would recommend and go back

2022-02-13We had a great experience when we went to look at a car for our grandson. Marrietta was so incredibly helpful & nice! The other 2 women in the office are super nice too! We wouldn’t hesitate to buy from them again!

2022-03-21Bought a 2004 Nissan xtera from them this past Thursday! Had a minor issue with the headlight, but they told me they would fix it for me! Had it done in less than a day, very good service.

2022-02-28Great and friendly sales staff. We are picking up a 2014 Escape for a super fair price; I noticed a couple common things wrong with it and without hesitation they said theyd fix it proper before the sale was complete! Rare to find in small business auto sales! Thanks J&J!

2021-11-05I have bought cars from here twice and both times had great experiences. They are friendly and work with you to make sure you are taken care of! First car I bought from them was 7 years ago and its still running strong. Wanted to upgrade and returned to buy a different car and its been great. I have no doubt itll last a long time!
