I love Dr. David Tukel ❤️ I have been seeing him for almost 30 years. I now live about 200 miles away in Ohio, I still drive up when I have an appointment 🙃 with him.
Staff & Dr. Tukel have been great. They care very much about their patients & do everything possible to make the visit easy.
Phenomenal knowledge and ability regarding his profession!! We travel over two hours one way to get to his office and have never regretted the inconvenience it has caused my wife and me. I believe my vision deserves the best care possible which dictates having Dr. Tukel as my eye doctor.
The staff is professional and very warm and friendly. Dr Tukel knows his profession and is concerned about his patients eye health. I would recommend this office to others.
I am very pleased with the my experience involving Tukel Eye Center. I have had contacts removed from both eyes and the results are amazing. The only issue I have had was with my last exam My appointment was 25 minutes late. other than that I would highly recommend Dr Tukel
Dr Tukel is very nice and very concerned about your eyes. His staff is very nice and helpful. They treat you with kindness and love. I have been his patient a long time.
It is always a pleasant experience when I see Dr Tukel and his staff. They are all friendly and pleasant.
If you are planning to have lasik with Dr. Tukel then be prepared to have your eyes butchered!
Dr. Tukel takes the time to answer any and all concerns I may have. I have long since put my eye health in his hands with the fullest confidence.

I visited Dr. Tukel on 2/15/21. Great doctor but office is a mess; staff is rude. Especially girl in front who answers the phone. Eye glass center is a joke. Promised my eyeglasses in 10 days over 1 month later no glasses and no calls to me with an explanation. I had to call myself on two different occasions to check on the status and was told that I should write a review/call VSP as they dont have a choice on labs. Well you do have a choice on whether or not you call your patient and keep them updated of delays. I will never be back. I just cant see wasting my time.

Dr. Tuckel and his staff are great at what they do, however, everytime I visit the clinic I end up waiting an average of an hour and a half even with an appointment set up.
Tukel is an incredible doctor, very intelligent and experienced. However; his staff is very unpleasant. On three separate occasions, they asked the same questions about my insurance. Theyre unashamed about being rude especially over the phone. And instead of discussing and problem solving, they will repeat a scripted response for issues.For these reasons, I will not pursue lasik here... Sorry Tukel but I cannot deal with your staff.

2022-02-09Dr. Tukel is very knowledgeable and professional. He takes the time to answer questions and has helped to solve my eye issues. Dr. Tukel cares about the eye health of his patients and does good follow up. The office staff are efficient and you do not have to wait long for your appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Tukel.

2022-02-19I drive all the way from White Lake to see Dr Tukel (I used to live in Dearborn, that was how I started going there). Yes, my appointments do take a while, buth, they are very thorough in my exam. I especially appreciate the time Dr Tukel takes going over my imaging and explaining both the anatomy of the eye and the pathology of my conditions. I was just there a few days ago and on my way was considering finding an ophthalmologist closer to home. After seeing him again, I remembered how much I appreciate Dr Tukel as well as everyone else in his office. Everyone there is compassionate and always friendly.

2022-07-30The whole staff if top notch and makes you feel comfortable. Doc is the best in his field and even though this office is super busy, he is never in a rush and takes the time to listen and explain. Its refreshing to find a doctor who really values his patients!

2022-05-13Dr. Tukel is a thorough, considerate professional. Although I know that he is very busy, I always feel as though I am his only patient. He has helped me to protect my vision and coordinates my eye care with my other health care. The staff at Tukel Eye Care Center are remarkable - professional, polite, kind. They juggle many balls and make it look easy.

2022-05-18Yes the doctor may be knowledgeable, but its more of a numbers game here. How many people can they pack in a day. I have taken my grandma here twice and both times it was a 2 1/2 to 3 hour ordeal. If it was my doctor I would have found a new one by now.
