Comment: I live in Las Vegas Nevada, and I flew all the way to Santa Monica to purchase a vehicle, Araceli helped me and she was really nice and helpful, however my 1 star review comes from Hossein, he ran my credit without my permission, The saleswoman helping me already did days before my arrival. He then was dishonest about the sales tax difference as i am not a california resident and promised if I purchased the vehicle, the state of California would refund me the difference between California and Nevada sales tax. I received a letter in the mail from them a month later stating they wouldn’t, he calls me a week after I emailed him and the general manager saying, I will file a complaint to the DMV, claiming I filled out the paperwork for the refund wrong although the sales lady had filled it out for me and he then sent though Zelle his own personal money the difference supposedly which im not sure is even legal but it was less than what Araceli had said i would be refunded but hey... just a very unprofessional experience

Comment: Very terrible experience at this dealership once again. Took my car in for service. The service advisor John Bervados recommended a lot of expensive items for repairs. The recommendations did not indicate that these repairs were urgent or that not doing them will result in any immediate danger to me or the vehicle. I declined the repairs. Once I declined the repairs, the attitude of the shop changed. When I came to pick up the car, the service advisor did not have a consultation with me about the recommended repairs. I was checked out by one of the guys on the lost. As I left the shop, my car began to smoke within two miles of leaving the shop. Discovered that all the fluid in the car had leaked out and that a hose in the vehicle had been ripped out while he car was in the possession of the shop. I was parked on the freeway for over two hours at night. I contacted the service advisor, who now claimed the fluid leaked out because my system failed. My request for the shop to accept responsibility and fix the issue they caused has been rebuffed. I tried to contact the Manager Rebecca Konrad, but she too ignored all my calls and text messages.

Comment: NIGHTMARE service department. My first Jaguar XF diesel was getting 8PMG. The service department refused to acknowledge their was anything wrong and instead had the nerve to tell me this was normal. 6 months and 8 service appointments fighting and arguing until someone replaced the fuel chip module sensor. BIG SURPRISE within 24 hours my XF diesel started getting 25-55 MPG!! Fast forward to JAG number 2. Got the XE straight off the showroom floor took it to Nashville. 3 years later lease is up. I decide to buy the vehicle from Jaguar Nashville and roll ceramic coating into the financing. Its one plate state so the dealership took the front plate off and our mouths DROPPED! Bumper looks like hamburger under the plate! I have never see anything like this. $4000.00 in damage. 7 crudely made screw holes instead of the standard 2 (which is normal and easy to fill with bumper plugs) The gas lighting continued. They claimed it was JAGUAR USA policy to install that way. I called Jaguar and found out they lied. Big surprise! Jaguar said No absolutely not, that is not how we install plates I will be filing a law suit!. I also know for a fact that they lie to the customer about the amount of time it takes to service the vehicles so they can over charge them and stack the work load. If your Land Rover or Jaguar needs 3 hours to repair they will charge you for 6 hours and then use the 3 hour space to repair another vehicle, also overcharging that customer. These people are shady scum bags! RUN AWAY!

Comment: Worst experience of my life. I was blindsided with an almost $6000 estimate for damages to a loaner vehicle 8 days after returning it although the staff member and I walked around it together upon my return 8 days prior. After two weeks of being in a loaner my vehicle was said to be done only to have to return it the following day for the same problems. Upon returning it for the said completed repairs, I was asked to drive my vehicle in an abandoned parking structure with two male staff in order for them to confirm the problems reported were still happening. After confirming the issues they kept my vehicle an additional week and upon my second return the advisor states that problem (that they’ve had to fix several times before) is an ongoing issue with my Fpace in which a bulletin was initially released 3 to 4 years ago. In total, my vehicle was returned to me 3 times so far and I’ve had to return it back less than 24hrs later with the same issues still occurring. My vehicle has been being repaired for 2 months now and counting. This whole experience is a nightmare and extremely triggering.

I sent an email to them from their website and William (Bill) Parr answered the email. I sent my list of options and asked him to check off the ones the hard had on it. He did and got right back to me. The car had 90% of what I wanted. When I arrived at the dealership Bill was there to great me, took excellent care of me and I was able to purchase my dream car. Comment: They immediately pushed me to run credit before showing any vehicles. Wanted to see my approval amount before letting me look at or choose a vehicle I might be interested in. It makes sense to know how much youd be approved to finance before falling in love with a car that might be too expensive and would come out to be more than the approval amount. However; if you know your credit score, how much you were approved for the last time you got an auto loan, what your vehicles trade in value (w positive or negative equity, and how much youre able to put down, it seems reasonable to shop for what you belive you will be able to afford based on that information. I absolutely will not run credit before I am even shown the inventory, and have selected the vehicle I plan to purchase. Dont let the dealers (any dealership) tell you that you HAVE TO run your credit before you even select a vehicle you may be interested in. Why run your credit if you dont have a clue about what you want to purchase??

After running the Carfax report 2 months later it shows a damage on my car. I never got into any accident nor reported any damages.I went back to the dealer to ask them why they sold me a car that had damages and their response was, the dealer was sold last month and now has new owners, this isnt our problem.I trusted the dealer to be up front and honest with me but instead they did not bother to try and figure this situation out.Now I have to go through the trouble of hiring a Lawyer to take on the case. I am very disappointed in how they treated me and the fraud they have committed by selling me a Brand New car that had damages.

An older gentleman, tall with white short hair walked up to us and asked us what model we are looking for without introduction. We were discussing the specs and the pricing between different models and we asked for their prices compared to online prices and he was like “yeah they are last year models and we don’t have them” and we were like cool we understand but still we wanna see the new models and feel the difference and he literally told us “oh you know Im busy and you clearly have better prices so I rather get to other costumers and showing you the car is waste of my time” then got up and left! Comment: I brought my car for 2 reasons, which one of them was the speakers become fuzzy. but, problem is, this is not happening all the time.But after leaving the car for 2 days they said, they could not hear the problem, but when Im using the car, it happens at least once a day.And the other issue I had, was with the rental department which they caused me to get into argument with another customer who was waiting for vehicles due to not giving me a clean vehicle (lots of dog hair) and ignore me for 30 min. I had to wait there for 1 hour over all and missed my appointment at 12 noon.

Even the emails were condescending sounding saying We figured wed reach out before we get busy with our weekend rush. I felt like saying seriously, I am a customer. Anyway, I replied to those emails saying Im ready to talk now, and gave all contact info....silence. Then a week later, same exact email. Their receptionist screens the phone calls. You have to go through her to get to a sales associate. They only deal with customers in California but they advertise on the internet. I guess they think the internet only covers California. The sales manager Vladimir is rude and unprofessional. He does not return calls and speaks extremely condusending. Comment: Ive had 7 Land Rovers. I always went to Thousand Oaks and now I live on the Westside of LA, so I go to Bundy and Olympic. Ive never had such a hands-on, kind, warm reception. I was early to my appt. They had a loaner waiting for me. And the phone call with what needed to be done came 3 hours after I dropped off the car. New tires were put on, brakes done and my car was done by 4pm. Unheard of in addition to the easy drop off of the rental car, kind reception, washed car. I could go on and on. Trust me, Im not an employee of Land Rover, just a lover of the car and now an even bigger lover of the service dept! Thank you for your professionalism and treating us like a customer! Comment: Hands down the worst experience ever and I will do my best to never step foot in that dealership again. There was no follow up for days, i left multiple messages and finally demanded to getting someone on the phone. Then they tell me that what was wrong with my car (conveniently 1 day after my factory warranty expired) wasnt covered by my Land Rover extended warranty. Every single time Ive used my extended warranty (on several different cars) at this dealership, nothing has ever been covered and they always find ways to charge even more money. To make matters worse, after 3 days and finally getting an update on my car, one guy (Mario) calls to tell me that there are extra charges and my car isnt finished until i approve the charge and at the EXACT same time another guy (Armando) calls on my other line to tell me that my car is all fixed and there arent any charges. I explain to Armando that I have Mario on the other line and he said its not done and there are extra charges. He said, he needed to double check and call me back. Interestingly enough, Mario calls me back to tell me that its all been taken care of. As if that isnt enough to show that this dealership is dishonest and a scam, when I went to pick up my car, it took 45 minutes to get my car. After 15 min of waiting and seeing the 2 people who came after me get there cars, I was told its coming, its just blocked by a few cars. After another 15 minutes, I walked around the corner to see my car in the garage and it was NOT blocked. I asked again and they said it was coming. Finally I walked up and a guy told me that they lost my keys and they were trying to find them. So not only was i lied to about what was wrong with my car, they lied to me about why it was taking so long to get my car back. No apology or anything. If a dealership lies and cant even keep track of my keys, there are some serious issues and I have made sure to let my fellow Range Rover friends know as well. Completely unacceptable!

Comment: WarningI am writing this to warn people about Land Rover dealership in Santa Monica (Hornburg). I love Range Rover they have the best SUVs and I have gone through a few Lange Rovers. My experience with this particular dealership has been disappointing . I went there to see if I can turn in my old Lang Rover that I had leased 3 years ago and a get a new one. The sales person who was very nice at the time checked my lease and said that he can transfer the lease and get me in a new car. I told him that I have one month on my old lease . He mentioned that the only extra charges might be due to none wear and tear damages and he would not be able to promise anything in that regard.Last week I got a bill from the bank financing my old lease for 3000.00 . Half of that were for damages to the car which bank reduced to about 700.00. And about 1500 dollars for the last month lease. The bank representative was very surprised that the dealership didn’t take care of that. I called the Hornburg, I was on hold for half an hour finally I was transferred to VIVIAN the sales manager. She was extremely unprofessional and she said that UV (our s ales person )was very through and she can not do any thing for us. I explained to her that I would of waited one month until my lease was completed and purchase a new one. It would defy the common sense for me to pay for 2 leases. I Inquired to talk to UV (our sales person) she said that he doesn’t work there any more!!!!!! Comment: After experiencing buying a used card at Hornburg, Ill never go anywhere else. There was so much added value... the Range Rover I bought was a 2015 and was like brand new! New brakes, new tires, new wipers, everything checked, completely serviced, certified, covered with a bumper to bumper warranty until March of 2021 at no extra cost, and the price was still $3,500 below market for the same car elsewhere that doesnt give you any of those extras. Im so glad I didnt purchase elsewhere without knowing any better. I felt like I got an amazing deal and the staff was a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend Ashwin Rai on their sales staff! This was by far the best car buying process Ive ever experienced, not too mention the quickest. I had several very pleasant & patient calls w/ Stellan & Kenny while just inquiring about different used vehicles that were advertised. I also spoke to the receptionist & she too was very pleasant. When I decided to finally come to the dealership (a week later) & literally gave them a 20 min warning that I would be arriving soon, Stellan & Kenny were both busy & instead of making me wait they offered to hv Alex help me. Alex was so patient, kind & sincere, I never once got that fast talking, BS car salesman vibe throughout my entire experience at this dealership. The entire staff was so kind & accommodating and totally went out of their way to make sure that we received the very best deal as well as the additional options. I really felt like they they were all sincerely happy for us & our big Valentine purchase (thanks to my lovely hubby). Everyone was very friendly & congratulated us. Comment: I started looking for a new car and knew I wanted a Land Rover diesel. I wasnt sure if I was going to buy the full size or the sport and stopped into Land Rover Encino on a Saturday morning. I left thinking I would go check out the car at the other store on Sunday before making a decision. I called the sales person the next day to make arrangements to go to their other dealership to view the car. He said he would call me back in 30 minutes and I didnt hear from him for 5 hours. I called again and he blew me off...AT this point I was frustrated and decided to go to Land Rover Santa Monica.I was immediately greeted by the 2 receptionist as I walked in. They were polite, offered me a beverage, and let me know that a salesperson would be available shortly. This was already a great start and I was introduced to Alex Stanisic. After exchanging pleasantries he asked me what I was in the market for. I explained that I wasnt sure between the Full size and the sport. He asked me a variety of questions to determine my needs and felt that a sport was a good fit for me. This was the indicator that I had come to the right place. Alex really took the time to understand what I needed and didnt try to oversell me. I told him what had taken place at Land Rover Encino and showed him the car and options that I was going to look at.Alex took the time to discuss the various options and again asked me questions to determine my needs. Base don this I was able to choose a car that had everything I wanted (color and options) and saved me almost 13K on things I didnt want or use. The negotiation, financing process, and delivery of the car was one of the smoothest experiences I ever had buying a car. Alex stands out as one of the better salesperson I have ever dealt with (and I have bought well over 25 cars) and I highly recommend him and all the staff at Land Rover Santa Monica.BTW the next day when i came to pick up the car (and the day after that when I had a small issue with my Land Rover App) the receptionist greeted me again by name...that to me is real customer service.

Comment: I took my RR in for a warranty repair. The repair was supposed to take only a day- got a call 30 min after I dropped off my vehicle that while the technician was driving the car into the garage for repair, he has backed the car into the wall damaging the rear end of the vehicle. Everyone makes mistakes, but thats not why Im upset and writing this review. It is the manner in which the team and my service advisor Nick deals with the issue. First, my SA didnt even apologize for the incident- he called and simply said Hey not so good news here, heres what happened, and were going to replace the bumper/ lights and everything will be fine, just take the rental car back and well switch me to a loaner car so we dont have to pay for rental fees. I asked him to send me a picture of the damage. None was given after waiting for 3 hours. Called him, no one answered. So I went down to the dealership myself, nobody could find my car for the first half an hour. There was no one on site who cared about what was going on, and no manager who came and explained to me how it had happened and what theyre going to do and where theyre going to take the car for repair since they dont have a body shop. I called and followed up with Nick for a question, havent gotten any reply yet.UPDATE 7 weeks later:This dealership is absolutely ridiculous. It has been week 7 since my car was damaged by their technican and to this date we have no response to our resolution and no communication at all as to when we will get our car back. It has suffered a massive impact because not only the exterior bumper and quarter plates are damaged, the inner structure is damaged too! The best part is that during the 7 weeks, there is no communication that the service manager and the general manager Nash cared to provide. I had to go down to the body shop and found out myself that my car was completely torn from after the front driver/ passenger seat. We have left voice messages and emails to Nash, and concerned about the Carfax report for the $12k repair that will be left on our 2 year old accident free car, and all they wanted to do is provide us with a letter?! We are extremely dissatisfied and will approach legal counsel. Do not trust your car with this dealership and do not expect that they will provide the level of customer service youre looking for.

The people at this service location never communicated with me and were near impossible to get in touch with. I would have to call multiple times a day to finally get in touch with someone to speak about my car and when I did get in touch they refused to give me a loaner car when it was a manufacturing defect that forced me to bring my car into the dealership to begin with.When I did go into the dealership to ask for assistance the receptionist blew me off, was actually rude to me, and refused to help me. Comment: UPDATE 7/2016: Decided to take my review down from 3 to 2 stars. I just had my Jaguar serviced, which in itself went without any issues. BUT: Since the service Ive received daily emails from the dealer, asking me for feedback on the service experience. I have not asked for these emails, nor have I been asked if I wanted to give them feedback after the service. I finally caved in an filled in a survey, if nothing else to communicate to them that receiving these constant feedback request emails was really annoying. And wouldnt you know, in the days after Ive submitted the survey, they continue their email barrage, this time to follow up on my negative feedback. Guys, its just car service, its not brain surgery. Why they think theyre entitled to my opinion is beyond me. As you can see from my original review, they clearly have a communication issue.ORIGINAL:I came to this dealer to buy a certified 12 XF, because their prices were very competitive compared to other dealers. Service with Nico was excellent, he was never obnoxious like car salesmen tend to be, didnt waste my time and was able to give me very, very good financing through Jaguar financing.That being said, I had an unfortunate experience once I actually bought the car. Despite the 150-point certification (or whatever it is), I was hit with no less than 3 warning lights within a couple of days. And when I went through my warranty papers, I found the full financial information of the previous owner, including his DOB, address and SSN.The service department gave me an apology for the bad certification and fixed everything quickly, while putting me up in a loaner XF at the same time. And the dealer gave me an apology for leaving behind the papers for the previous owner and asked me to destroy them.So overall a good experience, and everything turned out well in the end, but there were some major bumps along the way.

I have been contacted by Nico and the sales/marketing folks a few times and they have been very helpful in explaining various functions in the car.I have only had the car about two weeks but I am already very pleased and excited that I got the XF S. I am still discovering all the functions of the car. The technology in the car is awesome. The Bluetooth phone connections is far superior to any car I have had. I have already discovered great differences in this car versus my Infiniti Q50. The power is tremendous and the handling is outstanding. It appears the mileage is going to be significantly better. The cabin is very quiet and beautiful. I really look forward to taking a longer drive up the coast of California to really get the most out of the car. I would be happy to review the car in another month or so as I have more opportunity to evaluate it.

I recently purchased my lease and had a truly brilliant experience, hence being motivated to write a review as a way of expressing my thanks and deep appreciation for how wonderful the experience was. My service advisor (John B) was beyond heaven sent walking me through how to properly take care of my XKR and kept me appraised the entire time my car was in the shop. He obviously has a love for cars let alone is a lover of Jaguars. He walked me through the issues I had prior to brining it in, explained everything in a way I could understand and digest and even made some killer suggestions as to how I can get the most out of my XKR as it ages gracefully. Even Phil in the parts department was helpful. Great experience. Owning A jaguar can be a crazy and expensive experience at times. . John B makes it less painful (even when I need a loaner - he schedules it for me via enterprise next door). Great experience. Really glad to have a team like this at a location near where I live to take care of my baby.

Comment: They seem to do good work, though I think they are understaffed with mechanics.Even with a set appointment they always have taken two days to get the work done on my car.The last visit only required the change of light bulbs and replacing a fuse, probably 10 to 20 minutes of work and they took two days. They also did a regular check of fluids etc. but in total it could not have been more than 1 hour for everything to be checked.The positive is that they have loaner cars, Jaguars and Land Rovers that are all very new through a rental company on the property. You only need to pay for the gas used during your repair.

John Bervados, the service advisor, suggested I try to find a used part instead and he would install it for me....which i did and it saved me over $1500. What a life saver! Comment: I had to bring my car in twice to have the problem resolved. The first visit they had it for 2 days, when i got it back the problem was not addressed and required a second visit. Both times, the techs wrote some really rude and condescending comments trying to blame me for the problem. Then they tried to charge me for the second repair! As if it wasnt enough inconvenience I had to come back a second time! The car is still 100% under warrantee. I got zero respect or courtesy from the service advisor. Every time you go there, they are virtually empty yet there is no service advisor available to help you and you have to wait 20-30min just to drop your keys. I dont typically take the time to write these unless i have something really positive to say, but my experiences with this dealership are some of the worst Ive had and this Range Rover is one of the most expensive cars ive owned. Generally i should think ones expectations for service should increase with the price you are paying, not decrease.

I sent all of them, an email with all my specifications and terms and conditions. I then visited some of the dealers. As soon as I entered this particular showroom, I was informed my email offer was approved if I wished to move ahead with getting the car. There were no negotiations or haggling back and forth whatsoever. The whole process took less than 30 seconds with no exaggeration! Everyone was respectful, courteous, professional yet friendly. I was also very happy with the deal agreed since it was a pretty aggressive one. I must say, the paperwork took longer than I imagined, but apparently the person usually handling that end of the deal was out sick. Comment: My 13 RR Sport was in for service on 12/31/14 at an 8:00 AM apt with Bejren Larson, my service rep. He was there, waiting for me. In a 10 minute discussion, I explained what I needed, the paper work was done and I drove off to work in a paid-for Enterprise new Jaguar. Per Bejerns call, my clean RR was ready @ 4:00 PM, Returned the loaner, paid my bill and drove off. Couldnt possibly ask for more,Suggestion: promote Bejern to Supervisor and raise his salary.

Comment: I am not sure how to even describe this. This is a bizzare place. We wanted to upgrade from our Lincoln MKT to a Range rover or another luxury car. Both my wife and I are well employed with mid to senior management positions and can easily afford a Rangerover.When I went to the dealership, the sales person assigned to me started out by telling me something about people wanting to sell this to far-east market. I told him that I am not in the car business and have no interest nor the ability to do so, but was wondering why was he asking me that.Then he showed me something on the lot but my wife insisted on a white Range rover. He then called me and said that there is a car arriving on Oct 26th and that I should get pre-qualified by Landrover. Again a bit odd given that I already told him that I will finance at my bank and pay him cash. In any case, I sent him my W2 and 6 months worth bank statement.After 2 weeks of making me wait, he called me and said I can not get the car as the dealership has decided to give it to someone else, a repeat customer. I felt they had already made the decision and was upset for making me send my bank statements/W2 etc.He asked me to talk to the General manager. The GM called me after I left a voicemail and took it to a completely different level. He almost accused me of being sent by someone else to buy the car. Finally he said that he did not decide to give the car to someone else but I had to prove all my assets to qualify and trade in my existing car. I kept scratching my head. Finally I told them that I am not religious about this car and not going to further open my assets to prove my intent.Please be cautioned dealing with this place, I have not experienced anything remotely close.[BTW Land rover completely denied that they require their dealers to pre-qualify and it is left to the dealer.]Conclusion I came to is that either I am naive or this place has some unscrupulous entities or any combination in between.

Comment: Family has been buying cars from them for years. Sadly when I went to purchase one, after telling them I had a check from another bank, I was told I had to wait a day so they could confirm the legitimacy of the check because I was not financing it through them. Very poor taste!
