Dont waste your time!! We sat down and waited for a server for 15 minutes and ended up leaving because no staff came to our table. The place wasnt busy, there was two servers who cleaned a table rather than serve us...people who came in to place a to go order (at the cash register) were acknowledged and told it was an hour wait for a pizza which is ridiculous! It would have been quicker and cheaper to buy a frozen pizza and take it home to cook!! We went elsewhere with better quicker service.
We had chicken wings and vegetable beef soup to die for! We could definitely tell it was homemadeour waitress was phenomenal! Unfortunately I didn’t catch her first name but she was the cute little pixie with the blonde hair and glasses from sterling heights!!excellent food excellent service excellent atmosphere we will be sharing our experience with everyone we know! Thank you!!

Pizza was aight but the wings were dry. The wings were like having a sauna where you can’t throw steam.
Good food and fantastic service. A step up! Had the Friday fish special and some onion rings. They make a lot more of the food from scratch now and it shows. I need to try the pizza next visit...will update the review then.Ok, tried the pizza (3 different ones)...needs sauce! Seemed dry and lacking taste. Sauce was pretty scant...more should solve the problem. Rest was good. Nice thin crust, fresh toppings, and good amount of toppings. More sauce would add a star back to my rating.

Worst pizza I ever had wasnt even cooked right there was pizza dough not pizza crust and the place wasnt even busy so they had plenty of time to do it right. Paid for it and left, the waitresses response was as bad as the food.

Jims Pizza was really good pizza. We got two thins and they were both super cheesy and lots of toppings. We also got an super Italian sausage sandwich and onion rings. The Italian sandwich had peppers and onions and lots of cheese. Excellent. The onion rings were not what I expected. There was a large portion but the onions were thin. Im thinking I will add them into a hamburger & tot casserole tomorrow. ... we had our order delivered and it game 10 min earlier than expected. Excellent service. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Cant leave less than 1 star. I ordered food to be delivered. Ib live less than 10 min from place. Called, got told its heading out now. Called again got told that the girl who answered had no controll over what went on in the back. Asked for a manager, no manager. Finally canceled my order. Obviously customer service is not important. Will take my business elsewhere.
We had a great late lunch at Jims Pizza, I suspect you will too. They offer a complete menu including soups and sandwiches, in addition to pizza. Service was excellent. There were 4 of us. We each had a different melt sandwich and split an order of onion rings which was plenty. The food was quite good.
Spaghetti was super. Our waitress was excellent. They were so busy and she was really hoping. We would recommend. Prices were also good.
We only stopped in for drinks and appetizers along the sledding trail. Good was really good and the service was fantastic.

I had the cheesy potato soup...it had a slight mesquite flavor...real tasty. For dessert, I had the chocolate cake that had a dense texture like baked goods from the JamPot...delicious.
Good food, good wait staff, prices are a little high.. Lunch time you can get in and out under an hour, but dinner hour forget it. If you can get through on phone to place an order youll be told a 1 hour wait time.
A wonderful place for a family meal!! The food and service is great. Everyone is nice and friendly. Look forward to visiting this gem multiple times on each trip to the UP.
Very nicely decorated interior... doesnt match the old rugged neighborhood exterior. Service is good and neighborly.Desserts are good. Entrees are not good. Everything we tried tasted prepackaged, frozen and thawed. Even the soup tasted made from a powdered mix. The pizza is the worst, completely frozen and thawed after you order, including all the custom toppings. My wife and I can not recommend the restaurant and see no reason to go back.
What an amazing surprise! The ladies there were so great and we walked in 15 minutes before close (unknown to us as we are not from up there!) and they served is with smiling faces! Next year on our annual snowmobile trip, we will for sure be back!!!

Every family vacation to the UP we make a point to stop here multiple times. Service is always excellent, pizza and fish are to die for.
Ive ordered from here before, but today they really messed up. We ordered 2 Large pizzas, stuffed crust... Mozzarella Sticks and the Fresh Breaded Mushrooms. We ordered this all for delivery, the delivery man was quick and very courteous so I tipped him. The food, however, was sad to say the least. The cheese and toppings were falling off the dough, the stuffed crust was hard, the dough was not fully cooked and the pizza was overall, tasteless. The mozzarella sticks were hard as a rock, the Breaded Mushrooms were not fresh. We called and complained, we were offered a refund and we agreed that it was fair given the poor food quality. Thinking everything was settled, I checked my bank account... I found that I had been double charged! When I called back they tried to tell me that it was the refund, so I called my bank which confirmed I had been double charged. Calling the manager, I was lied to and told once more that I was not double charged. My bank has told me that if the total is not refunded within 5 business days they will be taking action on my behalf. Im hoping the situation is resolved without further issues and lying from the staff. I will NOT be ordering food from this sorry excuse for a pizzeria ever again because of this incident.

Food was fine, but it took about an hour and half to be delivered. When the delivery came, it happened to be the owner of the business. When asked why it took so long, he was rude and brash. Very poor customer service.
I generally wouldnt post such a low review. I usually dont ever have any issues with this restaurant. I have been ordering from them for years. But tonight I ordered two pizzas and not only did I not get what I ordered... waited an hr, but I also got black Pizza, and to top it off I called them and told the chick who originally took my order in the first place and she continued to argue with me. Telling me Im wrong and thats not what I ordered. I have never felt soo disrespected. Terrible service. Maybe it was just the girl. Maybe she shouldnt work in food service. If she would have just said okay, Im sorry then it would have been fine. But she didnt. She argued. Im only rating this low for my service today. It was terrible.
Grew up eating Jims pizza. Between Calumet and the Pacific Northwest its still the hands down best pizza Ive ever eaten! We like the Jims special add green olives :-P

All of the plates and utensils were covered in bits of food, as if they hadnt even been washed. The appetizer breadsticks had an appearance and taste similar to pie crust. Not horrible, but not what someone expects when ordering BREADsticks. The pepperoni pizza we ordered was greasier than any pizza I have ever seen and I was nauseous before I could finish a single slice. The restaurant itself looks very nice, but thats all it has going for it. We left very unpleased.

We ordered a pizza from our motel room and were told 25 minutes. After ONE HOUR we called them and were told it would be here in a few minutes. After 75 minutes from the order time it was delivered, NO discount and NO apology. It was also one of the worst pizzas we have ever eaten. 😕

Not the greatest pizza in the Keweenaw. It might be the alrightest pizza around though. The place feels kinda old compared to other hipper joints, but those places dont have random stuff for sale in them, now do they?
I called to order pizza and the associate on the phone was SO rude. I asked for what side options she had and she asked me like what and then listed them so fast I couldnt understand. She acted like I was inconveniencing her by calling and having her do her job.
We love Jims Pizza. We drive 50 miles one-way just to get their pepperoni and ham pizza! Homemade onion rings or snackin sticks are delicious for an appetizer.

The best thing about Jims are the prices. Very low prices across the board. Food was okay and service was a little slow but thats okay considering its a small local joint.

2022-02-1202/11/2022 7:00PM my daughter and I went to Jims to get some dinner. I had a seafood combo and her some chicken strips. Our food was well prepared and very good. Nothing at all to be faulted. The 2 wait staff were very friendly, attentive, and accommodating. We dont got out very often so I thank you Jims for a good dinner and a good time.

2022-05-21The literal best stuffed crust pizza I’ve ever had. I can’t even eat pizza anymore if it’s not stuffed crust. I’ve been spoiled too long with their pizza. It is a pleasure coming here or getting delivery. This, pictured, is my usual order (just for me ;) ). So freaking good! They do need to stock up more on that carrot cake though, as it’s my favorite & I’ve noticed that everybody loves it so it is constantly gone when I call. :( Please, please keep this cake in stock! As there is no carrot cake that even comes close. I have come to the conclusion that what makes it so good is there is not only cream cheese for the frosting, but I believe there is white chocolate too. & I am a huge white chocolate fan. It is just phenomenal. & what makes a carrot cake grade A to me is lots of nuts. That’s how it comes! Seriously, give it a try. I catch myself craving Jim’s almost every day of the week because of their pizza & cake, & if it was up to me, it’s all I’d eat. Pictured here is the extra cheese pizza, breaded mushrooms on the side, & 2 pieces of carrot cake. My us’, as I mentioned. :)

2021-09-05Excellent pizza! Fabulous sauce, tasty dough! Service was outstanding. Unfortunately my kids made an absolute mess of the place but the staff was understanding. Excellent desserts also! I will definitely be back and can not wait for another tasty pizza!!!!!!

2022-02-26They over charge for UN ut cold pizzas. Manager has showed up in the past with no change even. They forget sides on a regular basis , charge you and say its your fault. Never again. The delivery guy this last time was actually personable. Too bad everyone else faiked.

2021-07-22Outstanding cheese! I’m always trying new pizza places, and rarely leave a 5-star review, but this place has excellent pizza. I got a thin crust, which was perfect - a little bit of flakiness and crunch and chewy but not overly filling - and no char or burnt parts anywhere. Sauce and meat toppings were both very good also, but the cheese was outstanding, I’ve only had a few places with cheese this good and they definitely use the best stuff. You won’t be disappointed in this place, enjoy!

2021-06-24Pulled into town late and called the “chain” and got a sorry we turned our oven off. Next call was received by a real nice lady glad to make us a couple pizzas. Didn’t dine in but their place looked like a great stop and oh yeah the pizza was homemade and amazing! Thanks for giving these out of town guests some great UP hospitality!!

2021-11-27I love supporting local businesses instead of large chains. We were visiting Calumet, wanted a pizza, and gave it a try. Plentiful toppings. I personally love sauce, and it was a bit lacking, but all in all, I was quite happy!
