We have the unfortunate mis-adventure of the water pump going out in my jeep as we pulled into the campground for Faster Horses. Knowing the jeep was our way home and it being a busy weekend, I had no idea what I was going to do. I called Jims and explained the situation. They assured me if I was able to have it towed there that afternoon, they would do their best to get us on the road on Monday. At 8:30am Monday morning, I called and spoke with Ray again. She assured me once again that all would be fine and that the jeep would be road ready by the time I needed to leave the campground. They even sent someone to pick us up so we wouldnt have to hire a taxi to get to the service shop. I was able to enjoy my weekend without worry thanks to their great team.
Jims has done solid work and repairs for me and my family for years. Havent had an issue with their mechanics or work, so I recommend.

2021-05-14Give it 5 stars. Have been there with 2 older cars multiple years and had great thorough work done. They are honest and explain the mechanics as well as give options and if immediate repair needed or postponed repair. They try to find the part that is cost-effective.

2018-09-07Jims collision is the best mechanic shop that I have personally ever been too. My family has been coming here for the past 20+ years and I would never go to any other place. The people who work here are friendly and treat you like family. Just the atmosphere alone here is amazing with a warm welcome. They are a business that tell you the truth no matter what and will never over charge you for any reason. They are reasonable and good at what they do. Honesty is the best policy and they know what they are doing. Love this place!

2019-08-06We had a problem with my truck and took to Jims. We are from Arkansas visiting with my son and daughter in law in Brooklyn. Had to shift my truck manual and had no cruise control. Jims got me in right away an found the problem fixed it . We were back on the road. Very nice people and great service. For what they had to do the bill was very reasonable price. 2021-10-01Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. A vehicle should not have to sit for a full month after making a 3 week in advance appointment! Liers and full of excuses.

2020-07-03Place is a joke.... Paid 1200$ for them to fix my car and got done i was driving home and my engine started smoking and come to find they didnt put coolant in it. My dad had his car worked on there and engine put in they didnt do that right took it to Seymour ford to get inspected and they said it was improperly installed and oil leak. Dont waste your time here

2019-07-18I dropped my car off at 11:30am for a grinding noise to be checked and for an oil change to be completed. Jims told me that my rear and front breaks were thin and I might need a new caliper, though they werent sure, and the work on my breaks couldnt be done for another 6 days. It took them until 5pm to complete the oil change and to check my car.I decided to get a second opinion because I had front breaks that were less than a year old. The second shop I went to verified my suspicion and told me my front breaks were thick, he checked the caliper and it was fine, and all I needed were back breaks. In addition, it was fixed the same day.Jims would have collected $375 in work that was unnecessary.

2021-04-06These guys always go above and beyond. I was a lil disappointed it cost me 85.00 when the gentleman quoted my a price of 60.. but I will use Jims again. Friendly service. 😀
