Fast and professional,karlee carpenter is great. Took my pete rightaway into shop even reached near closing time,diagnosed,fault found and fixed.
I did an oil change for my truck and alas less than a month my truck run out of oil and I was stuck and missed my load. My truck does not leak oil and I had driven it for more than four months without an oil change. I talked to them and no one wanted to take ownership to the mistake. I think someone forgot to put oil or did not put enough. I wanted to make this my home service station but I cant work with such negligence.

This might be one of the best dealer locations in the united states, DJ runs a dam good service shop, i have no worries when one of my units is down at this location for repairs..
After I considered the circumstances at this Peter built location I chose to retract the bad review I posted. Though I found out my harness was ordered by calling the fort Wayne location I still have not been contacted by Kalamazoo. I was not happy when I was told they would not overnight the part needed because it was warranty work and he did not want to cover the cost. As a result it has been over a week now with no bunk heater and having to talk my way out of a idling ticket in PA. I would like to get my heater fixed. I would return to Kalamazoo but since he never contacted me and shared with me the fact he knew nothing about the new heaters I contacted fort Wayne.
We have a truck down, cannot get through to shop, on hold for 15 min with their call center, got through to call center, they transferred me to the shop, the shops phone put me back in line on the call center hold list.
Have been to this shop a few times since they have opened...the guys I have been dealing with have given me their best advice on work I needed done...NOT work they looked for (like other companies) our company has been trying to use local shops for the past 5 years and have found not so much luck in doing so. ..As of today J Huffman transport Has had both volvo trucks in to this new location with nearly 100% perfection and 100% satisfactory on every bill and every repair...not saying with perfection but with conversations with shop management and shop service guys we have not left with bad words...thats respect from both parties talking way before and during and after all repairs...Hats off to the staff at Jx kalamazoo at this point...but this leaves no room for slackers...come to Kalamazoo and visit Jx Peterbilt for any brand of heavy duty trucks
Great Truck Shop. Fixed our Truck very quickly! They found out what was wrong with it where others guessed. Will go back anytime!

2022-05-11This simple fix took them just about 7 hours to complete the only saving grace was the staff in the service office was decent to deal with i would have my truck towed next to back home before I deal with them or to another local company.

2022-06-18I would like to thank all staff at this Jack’s Peterborough location they were super nice and friendly I drove from North Carolina to take care of some spring pan and get my DOT inspection done they got me right away fix my problems I’ve had other places who want me to wait for two weeks but this place they took care of me right away I am extremely happy and I would advise any truck driver to check this place out it’s worth going there their prices are fair and people are super friendly and honest

2022-02-06I will give this place zero stars. Absolute awful customer service. Took a truck in to get thermostats replaced and ended up with two cut belts and broken bolts in the radiator. An absolute joke of a truck center. They could care less what they get done or when they get it done. Ill never go back there again.

2021-07-17Long story made short is that they could not even do an oil change because they didnt have a paccar oil filter. Promised to have one first thing in the morning, but it didnt show up, so it took until after 2 pm before I left. Then after over charging for the work they did, I got a call 2 days later and they said they needed another 200 dollars because they had made a mistake in the billing!

2020-09-11Great service. Friendly too. Had a engine derate in 3 hrs and they were able to diagnose it and done with our truck in 1 day and a half. And fixed our a/c too. Great people here. Trucks been running smooth so far. Great jobs guys.

2020-07-10I was having adaptive cruise fault and transmission faults (among others), and the staff were thorough and spent about 2.5 days trying to track down the issue even though it kept being persistent.This was warranty work and they were determined to fix the problem once and for all.I would highly recommend this shop on their friendly staff and fantastic work ethic!Thanks again guys for your excellent hospitality!

2021-07-31Had unit towed into dealer parts were ordered. Parts came in wrong parts..The correct parts came in went to assemble found they didnt order all the correct parts. Was told they didnt show that part being available in any of there stores or PDC. I checked my dealer TLG Peterbilt in Portage IN and they had 10 of that part and i asked do the PDC have them and they said yes ???? So i had the part hand delivered to get my driver back on the road at 4pm on Friday there open to 1030pm and the second shift Forman gave me the i see if i can get it back in before we close for the weekend mind you they ordered the incorrect parts once and didnt correctly see if anything else was needed. Clark on the 1st shift not much better complaining when i would call in for updates with my driver sitting there.JX will never be a player again in our organization ranging from new truck orders to any kind of service or parts work , ill tow a truck a thousand miles past your location if needed.

2020-01-30The people here are awesome, Id bring my Pete here again if need be. Theyre knowledgeable and honest. They made sure our truck was going to be safe and trustworthy. Ever since we had our truck fixed there we havent had anymore problems with that issue. Other places tried to fix it, but no go. Thanks Peterbilt, yall are awesome and thank you greatly for bringing me my medicine to the hotel that I forgot in the truck. These people go above and beyond. I cant say thanks enough.
