2017-10-04Karen is the BEST! She is so talented and knows how to teach well. We found Karen when my daughter was just beginning to play violin and I’m amazed how at how much progress she has made since then. Karen knows how to talk to young children and teens which isn’t always the case with skilled musicians. My daughter both likes and respects her as a teacher which is high praise from a teenager! Karen is very organized and her prices are fair. I always tell people I feel like I won the jackpot when we found Karen for a private violin teacher. I highly recommended her and can do so with no reservations whatsoever. She is outstanding!

2020-02-01Karen combines a calm teaching style, violin proficiency, and music theory expertise. As the parent of a high school violin student, I appreciate her periodic progress reports which give me insight into the new skills my daughter is mastering. I highly recommend Karen to any aspiring violinist!

2017-10-07Karen is an awesome instructor! My high school aged daughter has been taking lessons for three years and she loves it. Karen is relatable and quite knowledgeable. She has had such a positive influence on my daughter, that my daughter talks about having her own violin studio one day!

2017-10-04Learning new things has always taken a little more time for my daughter and learning the violin is no exception. Karen is a wonderful teacher and teaches to each student. It is not a formatted class. Karen specifically tends to my daughters needs differentiating each lesson on the fly. She is patient and encouraging and never gives up on my daughter. Im very glad we found her when my daughter started the violin. Her studio is also a wonderful space, comfortable for the parent and structured well for the student. I would recommend Karen to anyone who is starting, from a young age or of an age where the person wants to learn something new and challenging.

2017-10-09Karen is one of the most patient people Ive ever met and so good with young children. My five year old has been taking lessons with her for almost a year now and she does a great job of making learning an instrument fun for him and challenging him while keeping the pace at a skill level he can be successful with.

2017-10-09Karen and Neil both are very good teachers. Both of my kids love to learn from them. Not only they are great with my kids but also very accommodating for the schedules. We moved to Canton from out of state in the middle of school year. Karen worked with us and set up time with my son so that he had minimum interruption.

2020-01-20Karen is an amazing teacher. I started lessons after retiring. I am learning a lot about technique and sound quality. Karen has been patient, encouraging and I always look forward to the lesson!
