Sad Kate Palmer probably rolling over in her grave after whoever added the rules no fishing, on a duck tape piece of wood. I bet she loved fishing with her father. I will never return no I do not recommend it at all, I just wanted to fish with my daughter.
First time walking around. Even though its the dead of winter, nice trails and cant wait until spring to see the life.
Lots of walking trails, parking for about 5 or 6 vehicles. There was a tree blocking the entrance, but you can get around it.
So much life on the trails. Very well done place for a walk in the woods.
Beautiful and quiet. The occasional passing car is the only thing youll hear other than the gurgle of the stream.

This place is beautiful. And soooo much area to cover. We will be back, just with mosquito spray next time.

2019-06-16Very wild! Only con is its very close to the roads so I heard cars. Other then that I got lost on the muddy trails and took some nice pictures.

2019-05-28More of linear type trail along Sandstone Creek. Very nice area for Wildflowers (depending on season), Birds, and the creek. Not real long but a woodsy feel.

2021-04-25Nice level trails, some narrow. Shorter than I thought it would be so we looped around and around to be satisfied with length of walk. Great for kids though and we saw a few families with young children. Many Michigan wildflowers blooming now. Make sure not to pick, just enjoy.

2021-05-31Just woods and a tiny creek, nothing else. Kind of boring. Trails are too close to road and traffic noise spoils the hiking experience. There are also small airplane engine noises from nearby airport.

2020-08-05Not a bad joint to go for a Tuesday strollabout. I just recommend not throwing stones into the TV set that’s floating in the creek. Also don’t try to turn it on or else you’ll electric-zap all the fish.

2020-10-01Great trails through beautiful woods. Fantastic wildflower display end of April and May. Good bird watching. A Michigan Audubon sanctuary. About two miles of trails.
