I had my eye exam done at this facility at the end of August and had a great experience with the medical doctor and will continue to see her. On the other hand I had TERRIBLE service by the optical shop. I called on September 9th to schedule an appointment to buy glasses with my prescription. Was told the earliest they could get me in was October 25th. Turns out that the person who schedule my appointment scheduled it for Ann Arbor and not Brighton. I asked to go the Brighton shop when setting the appointment. I showed up in Brighton and was told that I had no appointment and there was nothing they could do. There needs to be a change at this facility on how they conduct business. A clear suggestion would be to make appointments visible somehow and maybe get a reminder. The next day I walked into SVS Vision and was in and out with great service in under 20 minutes. I would strongly suggest going somewhere else to purchase glasses.

My wife and I had our eye exams recently at the Brighton facility. I would rate the eye exam five stars but would only rate the eye glass shop one star. I understand Covid has caused some issues, but four weeks to get an appointment is unacceptable. I blame that on poor staffing. Luckily we were able to find an eye shop that was able to get us in within two days and only one week to get our new frames (SVS).

We’ve been there once-my son’s vision check up. I liked doctor and nurse, but TV in waiting room in Eye Center? It was family wailing room with cartoons on TV. I believe every eye doctor should talk with parents about screen time, but putting TV into waiting room shows that it’s normal to spent a 50 minutes in front of TV with Your little one( especially after Your little one had eye drops for check up). Come on? Better put aquarium there!!!

Needed an updated eye exam as I hadnt been seen for one in six years. Lucked into a next day cancellation. Was brought into the exam room within 10 minutes of my scheduled appointment. Medical assistant Sarah was extremely engaging and professional with her portion of my exam. Dr. Gagan, OD was marvelous. Friendly and thorough explaining all of her procedures in detail and taking time at the end of the session to recap and answer questions. Will return. Highly recommended!!

Dr. Nallasamy is the best! Very caring and takes time to answer questions. He helped me so much with my eyes and diagnosed me the first time he saw me. I had extreme dry eye with migraines and vision problems. The treatment I received healed my eyes - I still have dry eye but it is not to the degree it had been. I feel 100% better. Melissa, his assistant, is a dear as well - very caring and helpful - really appreciated her. The office is great too - plenty of space, check in and check out is a breeze, the staff here is tremendous. Would highly recommend coming to this location. Thank you.

They used to be great at the old building but the doctor I used to have there left and the new doctor seems to have zero compassion for patients. I was 15 mins late to my appt I waited 2 months for because I didnt know they moved into the new building and had drove to the old one and traffice through Brighton was its typical for 4pm. Because I was just 15 mins late the Doctor left already. Also my insurance has been paying for contact exams every 2 yrs and now this new doctor says otherwise. I need to make a new appt but after 6 yrs of going to Kellog I think its time for a new place. I just do not get how a Doctor can leave so quickly for the day if a patient is a little late. Especially knowing that most people arent aware they moved, maybe if they told you that when you make the appt I wouldnt had been late.

As I appreciate the ladies in the Contact Tech Center. They are GREAT! The Doctor I had last, not so much. Glad I only come here once a year. I miss the old Doctor at the old Brighton location. May just go to the Milford office again as I have in the past. At least you do not have to stand in a huge line like we are returning Christmas gifts at Kohls. This process is unacceptable especially when if you are in line for 15 minutes and it makes you late to your appt, the Optometrist will leave if she and he has something better to do rsther than have any type of patient concern at all. People wait months for an eye appt and they act like its the common col . I had to go over my last pair of contacts for a month all because they moved location at that time and fail to tell you that and I was late 15 mins. For being a UofM facility you would think they would be at par with the Motherboard.

After waiting in the check-in line for 25 minutes for an annual eye exam, they said I was 20 minutes late and Dr. McKee refused to honor my appointment because he had to get to a meeting. Doesnt say much about the physicians priorities over patient care.Other reviews talked about the excessive wait times and terrible administrative service at this office. I should have listened to those reviews. Go somewhere else if you can.

The customer service here is horrible! They have trained the staff to be nice, and they are, then they leave you in a waiting room for hours at a time. We have been here for three hours for a standard annual glaucoma exam. Not sure if we will ever see the outside world again!

They dont even deserve 1 star. I called Friday because my glasses broke. They got my number and said they would call me back. Said my script expires Wednesday. They never called. Ive been calling all day today and yes they took my number and never called again. I dont recommend thos place if you can go else where
