Comment: Having been threatened with non-renewal for several years, Allstate finally pulled the plug this year on my home insurance. I have tried to get my refund for flood insurance for three months without any luck. I also have requested refunds on my property and auto insurance which was replaced 05/25, with no luck. Actually with no response from the agent I had my insurance with since the house was built. My experience up to this point was very good. However, Allstate is quick to bill and very slow to refund monies on policies they terminated because I live in the footprint of the Camp Fire.

Comment: I have to tell my story… Recently I was pulled over for speeding, the first time in about ten years. The CHP officer asked me for license and registration. Unfortunately, I had just cleaned out my car and I couldn’t find it. I thought to myself “oh great I’m going to get a speeding ticket plus a fine for not having my vehicle docs” and then he asked me who I was with for my insurance company and I told him “Kevin Baker” with Allstate, he walked back to his car for a minute or two then came back. Christie at this Allstate office was ready to do what she could do to help out and even more importantly she was understanding. So it wasnt a claim but during a stressful time she was there. We are so happy to support local business in our new home town and it really is nice to have someone to meet face to face with when things dont go smoothly. She was a great help.
