Chicken biryani and Chicken Karhai …No match in Michigan specially if you are looking for Authentic Pakistani Taste. The Taste and price worth going back. Jahanzaib’s hospitality is amazing. They do Catering in very nominal prices as well
Unfortunately the reviews are misleading. The place is fine but the service is terrible. I kept waiting at the front desk trying to find someone who would take my order. After nearly 15 mins I went inside the kitchen and called a guy who took another few minutes to come out and told me a wait few more mins. I dont care even if the serve the best food on the planet I will make sure neither I nor anyone I know comes here.
One of the best Authentic Pakistani restaurants I have been to. The food is absolutely delicious. The lamb biryani is super hard to get because its that delicious and the biryani speaks for itself
This place is hit or miss. There is no consistency in their food offerings. Sometimes you call at lunch and they dont have Biryani (a Pakistani food staple). Sometimes they have Biryani but it literally has ONE piece of chicken in it. Skimping on meat, higher prices, poor customer service, this is why restaurants dont survive.UPDATE 6/18/21 - They are getting better, so I made it 3 stars. Their biryani is improving as well.
Terrific dishes here, Ive tried the Tandoori, Biryani, and Kofta and its all excellent. Note that they arent open for in-person dining at this time and sometimes the orders can take a bit, but their time estimates have been accurate.
The gentleman who assisted me was very kind and hospitable. He let me try some samples even before I ordered. The food was very delicious and I even got to practice a little Urdu!
The taste of just about everything is phenomenal. Exactly what you want from a good Pakistani cuisine. We have ordered from here many times, and the service has always been friendly. If youre looking to get some really good food this place is awesome.
Exceeded my expectations!This is hands down the best Pakistani/Indian food Ive ever had in Michigan & Ive tried all of them. The menu is simple which is perfect and the food is very authentic. The staff was very kind especially the gentleman there. He gave us chicken biryani on the house which was very delicious. Expect the Chicken Karahi I was expecting it will be served in some kind of karahi but they give us in a takeout box which I didnt like since we were dining in Food is very authentic and we will definitely be going back!
I called to ask a question about a dairy allergy (because biryani sometimes contains yogurt in the salan) to which he said “get to the point, I’m very busy” and then I say to him “is there yogurt in the making of biryani” and he says “this is zabiha halal”…”I’m don’t understand what you’re saying” and hung up. This guy is CRAZY. This is the third time something strange has happened here. The last time I was picking up food he refused to let me buy kheer 😂 idk man he’s a weirdo.
The food was delicious and I really enjoyed the tandoori options, naan, and kabab roll. Unfortunately, while the salan/curry dishes are very good, they are just as oily as at every other Pakistani/Indian restaurant.
First time went there, great experience. Was excited to have a good pakistani restaurant in the area. The other two times completely opposite experience. They are a bbq place but are always out.One time, Waiter recommended their karahi, said its their best seller but it was stale and flavorless. Ordered tea and they forgot to make it. Rushed and served watery milk.Extremely disappointed. Would not recommend at all.
Have been couple of times based on good feedback, but never successful to get hands on Biryani. Place seems to be messy, customer walks in and out of kitchen without mask, very disorganized lack professionalism.

I tried food here, and I have been coming back for the past 2 years. Food is delicious. Owner is very kind. LOTS of food for a good price. Most dishes are like 10 bucks.... but its for a TON of food. The food is pretty spicy, so make sure to ask for less spice if thats not your thing. I love the chicken biryani the most. SO good. I will continue to eat here for a loooooong time! My ONE complaint is that it takes a long time to make the food, and sometimes they are out of some items. They explained to me that they order a certain amount from the market daily so that they dont waste food, and the food is really fresh and made from scratch. 10/10. P.S. I have eaten here dozens of times... and noone was ever rude to me in the slightest. Im not sure why there are so many reviews saying that. They have bent over backwards for ME.... and I dont even know them.
They are so rude. I dont knw how they gonna run their business. We called to place an order and the person who attended the call (may be the waiter) was very rude. It is usually said that support pakistani community here but i would rather go to an Indian restaurant next time. Can not tolerate this ‘budtameezi’.....
My wife called Khan BBQ to order food for takeout. We heard good things but when we called to place the order the serving staff was some of the most disrespectful and rude we could find. We politely asked if they offered curbside pick-up and when he did not understand we asked if we paid over the phone could he bring the food to the car. The serve staff rudely asked why and when we said we were being cautious because of corona he said if you are that scared of corona then why are we even leaving the house. He then proceeded to say several more disrespectful and rude things that I will not repeat but it was shocking that as we try to support our local pakistani restaurant this is the type of service we get. I hope that you all can improve the service as I would love nothing more than to speak of only the good.
Incredible. Without a doubt the best Pakistani / Indian restaurant in all of Michigan. We were first introduced a few weeks after opening and have visited 1-2 times per week since. What differentiates this establishment from other South Asian restaurants in the area is the quality and freshness of the ingredients, the generous portions, and most importantly the spices used: the dishes are not only spicy, but aromatic. Everything is made fresh to order. All the dishes we have tried have been mouthwateringly delicious. The tandoori chicken and chicken tikka botti are both succulent, tender and filled with flavor. The chicken qorma and Nihari are smooth and creamy and incorporate a fusion of spices. The biryani is perfectly cooked and seasoned, and generously filled with meat. The naan is soft, buttery and warm... Each bite is heavenly. And the recent addition of the butter chicken to the menu makes this restaurant PERFECT!!! We will be customers for life!!!
I would not visit this place again. I had bad experience because I wanted extra Kababs and naans but could not get them even with paying extra. They have very bad customer service. Another thing I found out is they are not a Pakistan restaurant. Very rude so run away from this restaurant!
Tried it for the first time couple days ago. Really enjoyed the environment and food quality. It is new so the menu is limited however the flavor and quantity of the tikka boti and haleem is great! The hospitality from the owner personally was very comforting and really enhanced the whole experience.I have heard that the resturant is introducing new dishes in a couple weeks so I cant wait to go back and try it! I would highly recommend it. They have done an amazing job with showcasing Pakistani cuisine
Went there late at night and the staff was very friendly. The food was delicious especially the soft naan and the chicken tandoori pieces. I got the chance to meet the owner as well; hes a very friendly and humble man. Would highly recommend trying the food out!
Loved it!Best Pakistani food I have had in a loonnnggg time. I recommend the Tandoori chicken (all the meat is zabiha halal). Also, the portions are big and the cost is low compared to other Indian restaurants.
Review is late but we were about to order from today again til I realized we have been there before. We ordered 2 items each of which came with 1 Naan. I asked for more naan saying ill pay whatever the price is. I was told no. I again emphasized ill pay in case there was miscommunication to which person replies no I wont give you more . What? Isnt a restaurant supposed to give you the food youre paying for??
Whoever is working the phones needs to watch their attitude. Literally every time you call in to place an order, they can’t even make it. Might want to take a class in customer service skills before opening up a restaurant.
First of all this is not a Pakistani restaurant. Second, wanted to place extra order for kebabs and naans and I was told no I couldnt get them. Poor service. Never going back there.
The lamb biryani and nihari I got yesterday was amazing. The seekh kabobs are amazing too. I have been coming to this place since they opened and they never disappoint. The guy at the counter is really friendly too.
During my multiple visits, whether it was with friends or family, Zaheer and his staff have always gone out of their way to make ensure we have had the best experience possible. The food has always been fresh, and with the multitude of dishes on hand, it has always been easy to grab a roll, or have a sit down meal.
Just did catering from them for Eid. Everyone loved the food. Def the yummiest and the most authentic Pakistani food around town. From the courteous service to the food and condiments— it was all great!
I’m Pakistani from karachi who grew up on biryani. Khan BBQ’s chicken biryani was great. Tasteful with perfectly cooked rice. My only issue is....the entire order of biryani had the chicken neck and back. Not one decent boti...I literally emptied the box and found no thigh, chest, or leg...it was just carcass. Disappointed. You go to any middle eastern restaurant and you get far more than what you paid for...while desis are busy pinching pennies. Disappointed.
Food was great, Chai Latte was superb, and service was terrific!! Will go again, next time when visiting from Dallas TX.
Best rice Ive ever had in my entire 24 years of existing. Naan is really good here. The food here is better than any food in the vicinity of 5 miles 😋
I called them and wanted to check hand slaughtered chicken. Gentleman responded very rudely and said “If you have that many issues then eat at home”. It seems he hates customers.
The food was fantabulous. Nihari, Haleem, Karahi, and Biryani were authentic Pakistani taste. The place has small decent clean sitting space. Overall, a great place to enjoy yummy food.
I was waiting for this place to open, and I am not disappointed! Chicken tikka boti is wonderful! Spicy chicken breast pieces that are tender and flavorful. I bought the nihari (like beef stew) and my husband ate it and raved about it. If they ever add online ordering well be there all the time!
Finally some good Pakistani cuisine in Michigan. Their chicken karahi and tikka boti are delicious. They are not spicy yet flavourful. I wish they expand their menu and restaurant iA👍
Loved everything about this restaurant. Their best dishes are chicken buryanni and Okra. Ordered more than 6 times and quality is great.
Food is good, but service is awkwardly laughable. PS its curry as in cur-ree, not cur-rie. Dont know what kind of game the manager is trying to pull pronouncing it like that.

I had Chicken Tikka Boti, Chicken and Mutton biryani and Kheer in dessert. It was delicious and authentic taste. Reasonable price and quality is also great, i would love to go there again.

Amagzing food serverd at this place. Authentic Indian/Pakistani food. The cook is an amagzing guy and very helpful. Must try their chicken boti kabobs, nihari, and chicken biryani.

It was great. Slight delay in carry out even when ordered by phone but got paid back with a free bowl of kheer. Order changes acceptable.

You charge $7 and only give 3 pcs of kebab. That is why you wont grow.
I got chicken tikka boti, chicken tandoori and sheesh kabab. All items were excellent. I particularly enjoyed the spicy flavor of the chicken tikka boti and sheesh kabab.
They say that you have to be there an hour early before it closes. The restaurant was open and it wasnt busy at all, still they didnt take the order

2022-07-06Ordered biryani and karahi both are tasteless and probably same karahi masala used in biryani. I specifically asked what food is fresh today however biryani was not. Not sure 😕 why food lacks taste. Sent biryani back for some flavor or sauce addition but came back same. Good price, location and team

2022-02-19This restaurant has some really good Pakistani curries and nann breads. Its now my go-to place for butter chicken and mango lassi. The chief/manager sometimes even provides you free samples of other dishes they make here. Definitely deserves a five-star.

2022-03-16The food here is amazing with decent prices and the owner is really friendly. I have not dined I have never been disappointed in all my orders. The Chicken Briyani is the best I have had in a long time so it is always a favorite. Butter chicken is also great and the the chicken Hakka noodles is 🥰. The noodles are cooked just right, the veggies have the right texture and crunch (fresh) and the chicken is tender. It is definitely going to be my new favorite.

Warning if you are planning to dine in here- that your food will be served to you in a styrofoam small plates with the plastic spoons to self serve.We ordered Chicken and mutton biryanis which were okay. Malai kabob took some time but was fresh and tasty. Bread/Naan was good as well. Curries were decent.Overall food wasn’t bad but the person attending us was a weirdo. I would have given 3stars if service was good.

2019-08-31Authentic Pakistani taste. Try their nihari, chicken tikka boti and seekh kabab.Service is not that great. Took 40 mins for take out. Few tables for dine in, but they ask to call them ahead of time.

2022-03-01Update: Since Ive been going here for a year now. I fell in love with this place because I used to work across the street. I can smell the food from where I worked. Thats what made me try out that place that night. Since then Ive came back again and again.To see this place grow, and expand their menu is a huge treat and a beautiful way to give us a taste of their beautiful culture. Their Garlic Naan and normal Naan is amazing. The beef nihari is juicy, spicy, gorgeously seasoned and made with love. The Chicken Biryani omg its mouth watering. Very tasty! They feed you very very well here.Ill will be trying their other newer stuff soon. And the best part is they are down the street from me. A 9 minute drive, and I couldnt be more happier. Want to try something new and tired of the same old stuff? Go here! Favorite Friday night food!
