Everyone knows that buying a car is a big life decision You want to feel confident that you made the right choice when you finally decide to purchase one. The staff at Kia of Canton went above and beyond to make sure that I did just that! Thaddeus made the trade in and purchase process easy and seamless. I was in and out within 2 hours start to finish. Would definitely recommend this dealership. Also kudos to the sales manager who effortlessly drove around my used WRX. Long story short, dont buy from dealers who cant drive stick.
Wow Excellent service! Our vehicle was stolen and when found was not returned to us in tip too shape. So we dropped it off at Kia of Canton for new keys and the best of the best car detail. We received first class customer service from the entire staff, (especially Jeff in the parts department and Harold in the service department.) They truly helped us out and answered all of our questions. They were professional and quick in taking care of our car. Our vehicle looks amazing, smells great, and we got our new keys extremely fast!! Driving it off the lot felt great!

Kia of Canton has the best service department of any Kia dealership in the Detroit Metro area, in my opinion. I have patronized all of them and none are half as good as Kia of Canton’s. From service representatives to mechanics they are all fair and honest in respect to needs and costs. Highly recommend.

Amazing Experience with Kia of Canton. I usually get my service/maintenance done at the dealership and I typically go to the Kia Dealership in Ypsilanti, however I’ve never truly felt satisfied with my service. But Kia of Canton blew my expectations. My check engine light came on about a month ago. I knew it had something to do with my fuel system by the way my car was driving. I took my 2014 Kia Sorento into Kia of canton. They quickly diagnosed it was the catalytic converter. While it was a costly repair, they did not try to up-sale me on a new set of tiers or some other repair. It felt like they truly listen to my concerns and what I needed. They quoted me the cost, got the part and now my car is in perfect condition. There was a slight issue with the price for labor ( At the time of pickup I was charged a higher price than original quoted). However, I explained that I was quoted another amount and they quickly fixed it. No argument… nada. I will be definitely coming back, for my next scheduled maintenance.
It was same day reservation for a oil change and tire rotation, every other dealer was almost a week wait. Showed up, Martina took my information, explained the pricing, she took my 11% off coupon and I went to the customer lounge. They were done in less than 20 minutes. First time I have been to Kia of Canton, definitely recommend.
Ricky Porter should be the industry standard for all Sales Consultants. This guy is professional, subject matter expert in his field and did what he could to get things completed for this sale. I stopped into Kia of Canton today on a whim and wound up leaving with a new 2023 Sportage. Not only is the car amazing but so are the people employed there. Everyone was very courteous and acknowledged my presence which you don’t see much of these days. My salesman, Fadi was amazing. He took the time to go through everything in the car with me and made sure I knew how things worked before I left the lot. 100% recommend.
If you have plenty of money to throw away this place is for you not only will they waste your time or money, but straight up ignore you.Would you trust a place you call first thing on Monday and explain a situation which involved you leaving your car for maintenance and that the key was in the ignition and then Wednesday night you go and check and the key is still in the ignition. I called Monday. Left a message Tuesday and text chatted inquiring the status of my vehicle and never received a response.Now Im out 400 on a rental, have to get another rental, and find a place that can fix my car. BE WARNED!!!!!
Darrell, my service consultant, greeted me right away. As soon as he was free with another customer, he came over to ask what they could do for my vehicle.He very communicatice along the way and honest about the service process which I very much appreciated. He also did a great job updating customers in the waiting area about their vehicles. Unlike other shops, I found that customers waiting did not have to find the service consultants. The team at Kia of Canton made sure they were visible and available-- going back and forth from their desk to th3 waiting area as soon as updates weee available and paperwork was processed.My service tech, Jordan I believe was his name, also came over to discuss my vehicle. He was very thorough and didnt charge me the $150 inspection. He fixed what was the main issue at hand and didnt try to sell me on additonal products--jusy an honest rundown about my key fob battery needing replacement and two nails in my tires.The lounge /waiting was very clean, quiet, and it had enough tables and chairs for everyone waiting that day.Thank you Darrell, Jordan, and team at Kia of Canton. I will highly recommend this service center for any of my Kia friends and family!

The worst dealership I’ve ever been too and will never return. My first tine here was back in February to get an oil change and rotate. Service was pretty fast and friendly, fast forward to now, complete difference. I made a 3pm appointment for an oil change and rotate, and a tire repair. got there right at 3pm, didn’t leave there until 6pm. Service advisor e cones to me at 5:15pm telling me they’re about start the tire repair and i dont have tire warranty so it’ll be $25. After telling her numerous tines I did have it and she kept telling me I didn’t, I told her once the car is down I’ll gladly get my paperwork for it out the glove box which I did and ended that whole debate.. she then tells me I have to pay the taxes on it, which the repair was now $45. So now they’re charging $20 extra because its a warranty. Back to when I first walked in, they’re trying to tell me the oil change alone is $94 which I had to explain to her that I was just there in February and it was $72, which also thats the price on the site currently as well. She then tries to sell me a package that she says I need which includes fuel injector cleaner, lol. Car is a 2021 Kia K5 GT with 18k miles on it. Waited almost 2.5 hours for just an oil change and rotate, then another 30 minutes for the tire repair which I honestly don’t even think they had to repair because the tire wasn’t losing air, which I told them I don’t think the screw went all the way through. I will be reporting this to Kia itself as well as the tire warranty company on how they’re upcharging on warranty claims.
While I have never had interaction with their Sales Dept, I can easily say that the Service and Parts depts are top notch. Recent experience was incredible! Several months ago my exterior rear door handle broke and became inop. This would normally be something one could work around but alas the child safety lock was also on and then door could not be opened from the outside or inside. I had stopped in to get some air filters and was speaking to Jeff at the parts dept. One of the techs heard and stopped what he was doing to see if he could use a tool to get it open. No such luck but I appreciated the extra effort. Since weather finally broke, my husband (with the help of the internet) was it least able to get it open though did have to break a part to do so. I called and spoke to Harold who got me scheduled to bring the car in. I also spoke to another gentleman in parts who ordered the piece we broke to get the door open. A couple days later, got the car in and properly diagnosed. Harold let me know the parts would be a couple of days so I picked up the car to return it when they arrived. Parts came in and got the car back in. Repairs were done as promised and Harold called to let me know it was all set. Just a great experience. Thank you Harold, Jeff and then whole service team for taking such good care!
I never write reviews but I had to for this dealership. I had a problem with my ride and Kia of canton diagnosed my car and fixed it all within a week tops. The closest dealership to me is Dearborn and just like reviews I went with canton. Harold was the customer rep that serviced me, he was very helpful and knowledgeable of his work. Times are very different and hard to deal with but non of the staff showed any hostility very cheerful and ready to help. It’s Kia of Canton for me !!!
My car was released to my son without my permission. Unacceptable. I was told the parts were not in yet and that I could pick the car up to have it over the weekend. I had no use for the car because it’s not my only car. I was ok with the car sitting in the lot over the weekend. Unfortunately my 18 year old was contacted and was actually allowed to pick up the car and joy ride in it although his name is no where on the title, registration or anywhere else. I,m furious
I happened to run into this dealership by mistake, in route to a different Kia dealership (my daughter entered the wrong address). My intentions were to physically view and test drive the 2023 Kia Sportage (since, I had only seen photos). I decided to go inside to inquire if they had one that I could check out. The salesman advised they did not actually have the lower level-XLine I was seeking; but, they had the higher trim-SX Prestige. Needless to say, the car was a BEAUTY.... and although, that was not the price-range I was seeking to pay. I would have been willing to negotiate a deal. If only they had of taken me serious. I felt they were not attentive to me; and pretty much was rushing me out the door...as it was close to closing time! I was initially taken-aback by them advising that I needed to have valid insurance along with my ID to TEST-DRIVE A VEHICLE!!! I am not one to pull the race card...but, I did tell the salesman that if he were not African American; I would have felt it was racially motivated. But, now I understand they may have had issues with theft in the past.... it did not make it any better that; we were put on a strict under 20 minute test drive... with the vehicle that had less than 15 miles of gas in it .The next day, my son-in-law (who is a car salesman in another state) called the dealership to advise of my unwelcome experience and complained about the extreme mark-up ($3000) on the vehicle. I believe the person we were speaking with on the phone was the same guy that did not have time to entertain my presence: GSM( JR Kennedy). He tried to say, they were in the building well past closing; finishing up a deal.. and tried to assure us that my feelings were not validated; then offered $500 off the addendum for me to return the next day. Until this experience; I have never felt that my money wasnt good enough.I want you to know, that as of today... I have signed/purchased the EXACT car that I just happened to run into on your lot. After, leaving this dealership... I made a point to search for this same exact vehicle even as far as Youngstown, OH. I refused to spend my money at this location!!!It would, not have mattered if the car had the same mark-up of ($3000); I just was NOT going to allow KIA OF CANTON to make a penny off of me!A word of advice to this dealership; especially GSM/JR! Anyone, that comes into your building should be payed some attention; NO MATTER THE TIME.FYI.. I went into A DIFFERENT dealership within 15 minutes of closing; had a 10 minute conversation with the salesman; made a deposit; and today I returned with a check for the FULL purchase of THE SAME EXACT, 2023 Kia Sportage SX-Presitge.I dont know if I was pre-judged or not...but, GSM/JR cost your salesman this $40k dollar deal! Update: Third time to Kia of Canton for annual routine maintenance on my Kia. Harold, the service manager was great, positive and friendly. My oil change and inspection were performed quickly. Still a happy customer!——————————————————————————Recently bought a used Kia Soul, and found it had an open recall on it. Steve at Kia of Canton service department was so helpful! His department did the recall work, he explained what it had entailed, and after a complete safety check, they discovered my oil had previously been overfilled by almost two quarts! They corrected that issue.I was happy to feel so much confidence in the competence of the people taking care of my car! Steve was fantastic, and I’ll him and his team at Kia of Canton do all of my maintenance and service work.
Bait and switched. Used the schedule a test drive feature on the Kia site for the EV6. Drove an hour, was told I would need a hard credit check after a LONG sales pitch. Did the same thing for another dealership, no credit check. They lost the sale to LaFontaine for sure.
Went to Kia of Canton today to use my tire warranty that was purchased from another KIA dealership, was informed that they do not take this tire warranty from this dealership. All they had to do was call the warranty company, give them the claim number I already had, confirm the tire needed to be replaced and get an authorization number for the claim. I was willing to pay full price for the tire as I was assured from the warranty company that as long as they provided an authorization number I would be reimbursed for the cost of the tire. The staff at Kia of Canton were not cooperative or helpful and have cost me a couple hundred dollars. It was a disappointment.
I could not have picked a better dealership, from start to finish the service was superb. Harold and Bart worked effortlessly and helping me what the reason for my visit in every aspect they provided top-notch customer service.Harold was more than patient and very Swift and effective to communicate and get things done for me. I appreciate being treated like a highly valued customer.More importantly, I observed seeing other customers treated in the exact same manner, which shows the heart of this company and their culture. They truly operate like the difference they are from other dealerships.

Kia of Canton gave me the worst car experience that I have encountered in my life. I purchased a 2012 GMC Terrain about a one year and two months ago. The finance person, Antonio Tijerina, advised me to get a bumper to bumper extended warranty during the buying process of my vehicle. I discovered later on that I signed up for a roadside assistance plan for $850.00 and I already had a roadside protection plan through AAA. After 9 months of driving this vehicle, I started to hear loud noises when traveling over bumps. I scheduled an appointment to get my car looked at under warranty I found out at this time what Kia of Canton had actually signed me up for (a roadside assistance warranty package). The Kia of Canton mechanic raised the vehicle up on a hoist and stated that the mounting point for the rear lower control arm had completely rusted off the vehicle. The structural integrity of the vehicle is now compromised due to the rear wheel no longer having a mounting point for the lower control arm. The mechanical solution would be to replace the frame but that would likely total the vehicle due to the cost. The mechanic also stated that it is unrepairable and unsafe to drive. Bottom-line, Kia of Canton sold me a vehicle that they claimed to have inspected that actually had a completely rusted out frame. Frames do not rot in 9 months. After going to the dealership multiple times to discuss this matter, it became evident that the ONLY solution the dealership had was to sell me another vehicle and basically have me eat the cost. I did not expect a dealership associated with a worldwide brand such as Kia would operate in this manner. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stopped in just a few minutes before closing and all the service people were already gone . Harold / Vincent went out of his way to take care of of my issue and help me with my key fob ! Thanks so much . I know it sucks when someone comes in right before closing and they were great about it .
We came in to lease my son’s first new car and Ricky did an AMAZING job of making the whole experience quick, easy, and efficient! He showed us all the vehicle features and made sure all our questions were answered. We came in and bought a new car, start to finish, in less than 2 hours! My son LOVES his new car!! Harold from the Service center is awesome. Was super helpful and was clear from start to finish with the work that was being done on my car. Honest, professional, knowledgeable, and kind. If every dealership had a guy like Harold, folks wouldnt dread taking their cars in for service.
Brought my car in for a simple recall, but turns out I needed new breaks and several other issues as well. Steve was incredibly helpful and was able to fix all the issues on my car the same day! Everyone there is nice and the waiting area is relaxing and quiet. 10/10 couldnt have asked for better service!
Its a small dealership that offers very personable interaction and experience. My decision to finally buy was 6 months in the making waiting for the time frame that was good for me and getting the vehicle in that I specifically wanted. I was kept in the loop and they treated me very well. Overall it was a good buying experience. Thaddeus was my salesperson and was always very helpful and the manager, JR, was was also great to work with.
Awesome staffs. Very kind and organized. I had lost my wheel locker for my tire and Chris, a technician, gave me the extra one for free. Was supposed to take 2 and half hr but only took 30m. Took my brand new 2022 Kia Soul in for its first oil change at 4200 miles. They performed u necessary fuel treatment and engine treatment that cost a total of 147.00.I had them put full synthetic oil in the engine. Which on Kias website recommends 7500 miles between oil changes. The dealer marked the oil change decal for the oil to be changed at the next 5,000 milesStay away from this place at all costsThis is my 3rd Kia Soul and I have never been ripped off like this from the other 2 dealers before.
Buy your car here!! I had a great car buying experience at Kia of Canton. The staff, was so accommodating, and my sales person, Stacy Hogan, gave exceptional customer service. I told her what I was looking for and she let me know when it became available. She went through the different price points with me, so that I knew exactly what I wanted as far as trim level.I was happy that I found the car I was looking for, the telluride, and I got a great deal on that and my trade in. The dealership is very intimate, and they all, Ricky, Matthew, and the manager all make you feel very welcome!Come here, I promise they will take good care of you.
We really had a great experience working with Stacey Hogan, Matthew & JR Kennedy and the entire sales staff. Stacey worked with us all the time even though we are out of state buyers. She was prompt to let us know about the vehicle availability, payment options etc. When the date arrived for vehicle pickup, Beck picked us from the airport and gave us a comfortable ride to the dealership. Thanks Beck. Ricky greeted with smile in Staceys absence and made us feel comfortable. Jake went through all the technology and other important features on the vehicle. Matthew (finance manager) was very comfortable to work with, no pushy sales. Finally, JR talked about the importance of us doing business with them and made us feel really comfortable.Overall, we really had a great experience and the sales people made us feel very comfortable. Went here to purchase a Soul and was blown away with the customer service. Thaddeus and two other gentleman I dealt with where amazing. Stacy was fantastic, great with communication and explaining the process for me, the manager JR even upgraded me to extend my vehicle warranty for 10 years, sales was so fast Matthew was absolutely amazing. Would definitely buy from kia of canton again! Raises all around!!! Very good noodles!!!!!
I had called ahead and spoke with Steven who assured me they don’t add dealer addendums to the price and the listed price plus taxes was the price I would receive. When I arrived the vehicle I wanted was already reserved and they were adding 3000 dollar addendums. Needless to say I was disappointed and will not be purchasing or recommending this dealership. I would like to share that the salesperson I met upon arrival was extremely pleasant and transparent about the addendum. Just unfortunate that all their employees were not as transparent.
Very friendly helpful staff. I had a test drive scheduled and ended up getting the vehicle. Thaddeus was the sales agent for helping me through the process with trade-in. Due to the number of customers ahead of me, it took a little longer than usual to get through the whole process, but he kept very attentive, posted with updates, respectful, and courteous. Everyone was easy to talk to and very inviting. Matt (finance) also made the paperwork, a breeze experience. I would highly recommend it.
They dont really care about their customers, never return phone calls and the show cars are dirty. I was interested in purchasing a vehicle and because it was a minute past closing time they wouldnt let me complete the deal and said to come back after in morning but had said it would be detailed in the meantime. I even had to take a half day off work to get them the check and started to head to the store to find out they sold the vehicle already. This was extremely unprofessional and untrustworthy.

Since getting my Kia Soul in 2018, I receive all my service/maintenance from Kia of Canton religiously! The service team there, especially Bob, goes out of their way to make sure you are taken care of. I called last minute yesterday needing my brakes done (after neglecting to get it maintenance...literally grinding) as well as a long overdue oil change (over 6k miles to be exact). Bob fit me in their busy schedule (SAME DAY) even though they were booking 2 1/2 weeks out. When I got there, everyone was super friendly (NO SURPRISE) and did a thorough inspection. Bob checked in with me every step of the way and presented all my options at an affordable price. The work was going to take until the next day. I was prepared to stay there until Closing when my husband got off work to pick me up. Bob EXPEDITED the process of my brakes being fixed and oil change being done just so I didnt have to wait so late! You will never find a greater service team than at Kia of Canton! They are truly amazing. Im so thankful for the Grace and Kindness shown to me yesterday. I wouldnt trust my car with anyone else!
I was in a unique situation due to an auto accident and Thaddeus Harmon absolutely was patient with me and went above and beyond to answer questions I had. I went with Kia of Canton after an experience with another Kia dealership in the area. I found Thaddeus and the team at Kia of Canton were not pushy, listened and made a deal happen that worked for me. I can not recommend them enough. Best of all we were in and out in 2 hours !
This is the 2nd new car ive purchased from them in the past 2 years. They are absolutely amazing here. Excellent customer service. They work very hard to get you into the vehicle you need , no matter your situation. My salesman Ricky P was so helpful and worked vigorously to get me into this 2020 optima se. I love the great customer service of the staff. They get you what you want and then some! Everyone is very nice and they work as a team to get you the results you deserve. This will be my second lease through Kia of Canton and I plan to continue going back in the future.
Let me start by saying, Ive been going to this location since 2007, in service there is a man named Steve who has been there since then and is the most honest service coordinator Ive ever dealt with. He knows how to talk to customers, and his mechanics to make sure things are communicated correctly. I go there to get all of my service done, oil changes, tires, and brakes. I trust these guys so much that I sent my son-in-law there, (hes 19 and didnt have quite the credit to get a brand new car, he didnt want to co-signer he wanted to do it on his own) J.R. in finance was amazing, he always is, he always has been. He will get you into a car and if he cant get you exactly the one you want he will find an amazing substitute. I wouldnt give such a great review if I didnt trust this place, lets face it, you spend a large chunk of your life in a vehicle.... I trust Steve in service, I trust J.R. in finance ....,do yourself a favor go see them!
I want to give KoC a higher star rating because my latest visit, on 7/2/21, was pleasant, efficient and swift (vehicle recall service). My service advisor was great! Hes personable and no-nonsense (which I appreciate).My first visit, on 6/28/21, was not as great. It was my first time visiting Kia of Canton (first time Kia owner) and I did not know how the service department functioned. So I parked and walked inside. I was told, pleasantly, to drive the vehicle into the bay area right outside of the service desk. There should be signage that says to do this because I cant imagine anyone who would think this is what you should do. Ok, I do that and Im greeted by the young woman in the service department. I notify her that Im in for an oil change, tire rotation and inspection for which I had an appointment scheduled. I also advised at that time that I had coupon from KoCs website. The response was very odd as if Id made the coupon on clip art, followed by Im new, sorry. Thats fine and I totally understand but the situation became very uncomfortable. So, naturally, I said ok, wellwhen should present the coupon? Also, it is available on your website if youd like to look it up. We move on from there.The service is performed, I pay and go out to my car. As always do, I check my oil and the general underhood condition following service (were all human and I used to work at an oil change facility so double checking is crucial. All looks well. I get into my vehicle (which has very light leather seats and surfaces) and notice dirt/smudges/prints in many places. To not be that guy I just went inside, got paper towel and wiped everything down. Great! No need to create a situation. Well, then I notice that my oil change sticker/reminder isnt in place. I go inside and ask if this is something that KoC provides, service guy says yes and shouldve been placed. No problem, they send the technician out who performed the service to place the sticker. He apologizes...I understand. (This does cause concern however, on what else was perhaps forgotten that I cant readily see...e.g.- was the filter cartridge changed I can only trust that it indeed was.I ask the technician about the maintenance reminder computer and to my surprise, he gets a bit snippy: I said Ill take care of that as well. Well, that wasnt actually my concern- I was asking about the system because all of my previous vehicles had oil change lights/messages that were unable to be manipulated (once you reset them to 100%) whereas the Cadenza (and perhaps all models from the company) has Maintenance Reminders that are completely configurable. I was simply trying to understand this new-to-me system. That day, I left with a very bad taste of the dealership but I did not want to impulsively review as I knew Id be returning for the recall service.I will, perhaps, update the star rating upon further/future visits and their experience. *Also, the oil change service cost is quite inflated.
I bought my Telluride from here thanks to MaKenna Steed. I had let MaKenna know of my trim and drivetrain requirement via email. She was then instrumental in the follow-up and promptly let me know when the car was in stock. She was helpful throughout the buying process. Matthew Baucher, the Business Manager was very professional too. Given the hot cake that Telluride is presently (supply demand is indeed quite some thing) I would say I had a relatively easy buying experience at Kia of Canton.Service experience has been a mixed bag. For a mechanical problem the car had since delivery, I had to make few trips to the Service Center to get the resolution finally. They fixed the issue on the fifth visit and also provided a rental.
Amazing customer service. I inquired whether a vehicle was still available and Stacy, sales rep. kept me on the phone until she could physically confirm they still had it. The sales process was smooth and all staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. Thank you Kia of Canton!
Purchased a used vehicle from Kia of Canton. Had some communication over the phone and went to see the vehicle. I was surprised how small and intimate the dealership was. This is not a fancy, serve you a mocha coffee and leave you sitting there for hours type of dealership. They get work done here. I had the whole transaction done from test drive, trade-in to signing papers in about 2 hours. I never really waited around as I was doing work calls, etc. Jake came in on his day off to accommodate my schedule and I appreciate their commitment to satisfying their customers. Overall, it was a great, efficient, no-frills experience. Just what I wanted!
Great dealership with some of the best employees around. Ricky, Matthew, and JR could not have made our buying experience any better. Everyone here went above and beyond to work with us and ensure the buying process went smoothly. I could not recommend this dealership anymore. Well for starters I found a listing online for a car I loved yet when I walked inside the car magically became $1,000+ more which was highly disappointing. I was then told I would get a phone call when I could come pick up my car the next day and I had to play phone tag all morning to get any kind of answer.When I went to pick up my car I was told it would only take about ten minutes for me to fill out paper work and drive off of the lot. Well, ten minutes became two hours (luckily I have an understanding boss who let me come to work late) and I was told the reason I was waiting is because they were detailing the car.That is not correct. The car was not detailed. There were cigarette ashes inside of the car and it heavily reeked of cigarette smoke. When you opened the door you could see the dirt trail all around the door frame and it got worse from there but Ill save you the frustrating details. I was informed the detailing and care for the car was bundled into the price which was a rip off because I wound up doing it all myself. So to recap: There was faulty advertising, I detailed the car myself, called them until I was told I could show up to fill out the paperwork even though I was told numerous times I would get a call and got ripped off for all of it. 10/10 would not recommend ever. Lesson learned.

My 2015 Sportage had engine failure due to manufacture issue. Steve was very helpful and informative when scheduling my appointment. I appreciate the option for texting updates when your car is in service. They were able to get my car in, perform tests, get a new engine and complete from Thursday to Tuesday. Would return if necessary in future.
My sales person, Rickey, was great to work with. I appreciated the transparency that this dealership operated with. Every question I asked was answered quickly and thoroughly. They gave me information that many other dealers would not do over the phone. I would highly recommend working with both Rickey and Tony (finance manager) and would highly recommend this dealership if you’re in the market for a vehicle.

I bought a used 2016 Chevy Malibu in November of 2017 from Kia of Canton. I was in a tough spot financially, and the Malibu and an Impala were right in the price I could afford and get approved for. For some reason, the sales person I spoke with kept pushing this Malibu even when I insisted on the Impala being my first choice.Now I know why. This car is an absolute nightmare and was in no condition to be sold. It has cost me THOUSANDS out of pocket in repairs all from an accident the previous owner had, that was improperly fixed. I was shown the CARFAX, but I was not shown how much of that damage was only cosmetically covered up.Wiring was incorrectly hooked up, leaving my airbags unable to deploy. I only found that out when my airbags were stolen and the Chevy Dealership said we cant legally put you back on the road without fixing the wires because you could crash and die due to the faulty job that was done by the previous repair. A $600 repair bill.My engine and pistons were also incorrectly and unsafely put back in after the previous owners accident, which cost a whopping $3,500 out of pocket, and theres still about $4,000 worth of work that could be done, repairing what shouldve been fixed prior to the salesperson pushing this lemon on me.I know that the dealership is under new management now, but this is an absolute sham, and you all should be ashamed that a car this unsafe was sold off of your lot. Theres no reason these fixes were not completed before I purchased this vehicle.Id love to discuss this matter directly if anyone under the new management cares about customer service, because the old management absolutely didnt.Anthony B. I wasnt planning on getting a new car payment so I had a lot of anxiety about the process and a LOT of questions. I was never made to feel as if my questions were excessive. They helped me navigate my fair credit number and helped me provide what I needed to help the bank decide in my favor in a timely manner.Despite a few bumps in my finances, I found a car that I LOVE! Ive never had a bad experience here. I come here to get my 2011 kia serviced, the waiting area & the showroom is always clean. They have a good selection of new vehicles, you will leave a guaranteed customer for life. Steve Caruso gives me a good price never overcharged . I would recommend 👌
I contacted Kia of Canton inquiring about a Telluride they had listed on their website. The window sticker (MSRP) said $44705, however the internet price is $47705, $3,000 more. When I asked the salesperson to explain the difference I was told that it is a premium because the vehicle was so popular. Now I understand this is a common practice, but really what this translates to is, as a dealership, the response to consumers supporting their business is price gouging. We all know that the MSRP includes a nice profit for the dealership in the price. So what Kia of Canton decided to do is add an additional 7% on top of the profit they were already making. When I pressed the issue with the salesperson he made no effort to inquire with the powers that be if there was anything that could be done. From his tone and attitude I knew he wouldnt advocate for me, but the very least he could have done is asked the question which he didnt. I guess the cars are LITERALLY selling themselves. Suffice it to say I wont be purchasing a vehicle from Kia of Canton. Isnt it fascinating that when the economy is hurting the consumer is urged to keep spending money like its the patriotic thing to do because jobs will be saved, but when businesses are in a good position their response is to try to milk the customer dry?
I had fantastic service! I came in on Saturday for an oil change and tire rotation. I was the last appointment and they were so nice! My service advisor was Zaid. He was quite the gentleman! He even opened my car door for me! I will continue to come back for all my service needs!
Ive been Kia owner for less than a year and Ive had my car service twice at the Canton Kia location. The service is absolutely spot on. The service was explain to me in detail and I was treated with dignity. I will only take my Kia to a Kia dealership. Proud Kia owner.
They told me they should be able to take my service plan on my niro, and I made an appointment for an oil change. I had my husband bring my car in, only for him to be told the oil change was going to be around 80 dollars just because the oil is synthetic. Im not stupid. Synthetic oil is more money, but not enough to justify that price. Needless to say, I did not get an oil change there, and I will not be using them for service. Total price gouging.
If I could give 10 stars I would. Stacy and Tony are awesome. They worked to get my son his first new car. Stacy kept us updated all the way. They made sure they worked till they got him a payment that was more the reasonable. I will be going back for my next car in a couple of weeks. Thanks for all of your hard work. You two were great.
I gave the company 3 stars because, I have mixed reviews. I have been with Kia for almost five years now. In the beginning the service staff was excellent and knowledgeable. However, after my third year with the company, they seemed to have replaced the knowledgeable, experienced and courteous workers with younger,less efficient and less personable ones. I couldn’t believe how the “customer service” changed so drastically. I purchased my vehicle brand New Years ago and for the past year it has been leaking oil somewhere within and instead of confirming their find, the man behind the counter lied and told me that my oil was topped off because, it was a little low. Uh, no! I heard the young service guy whisper to you that it was empty. I may be a woman but, I am a seasoned one. It makes me question if my vehicle was truly thoroughly inspected for the engine recall. Kia told me that my car has to smoke or knock in order to get anything done and I did confirm that with corporate. It’s just disheartening because, I am just waiting for the bottom to fall out. I hope the engine doesn’t lock up while I’m on the highway on my way to my many obligations. Don’t worry, my life insurance is paid.For the record, I have NEVER written a review before, however, some things need to improve. For those of you that truly service with honesty and integrity, thank you.
Every time I visit this dealership, I have a fantastic experience. Very nice staff, quick service, and they always go the extra mile to make sure every customer leaves satisfied. Definitely recommend this dealership if you’re a Kia customer, or looking to become one!

So as a customer who researched and looked into different cars and dealerships, I have to say without a doubt Kia of Canton is the number one place for me because I also tried glassman of kia and they had the worst service and couldnt find the car I was looking for. But then I contacted Kia of Canton and spoke to MaKenna Steed who not only located the exact car I was looking for at another location but also drove an hour away to get it for me, easily went above and beyond. I was also helped by Matthew Baucher who made the sale as simple as possible.
Excellent service! They were able to schedule a next day appointment for me. When I arrived, I was prompted by a friendly service tech who explained what they did and what was wrong. I was in and out within an hour. I am very happy with the service. I will definitely take my car back there every time.
I was there for a full synthetic oil change, ended up waiting 2 hours because they didnt have any of that oil in stock even though I had a appointment scheduled... this is the second this has happened. Then to top that off the mechanic got into my car with oily hands and did not replace all the bolts in the skid plate. When I got home I saw it hanging and the corner was worn off. I have contacted them about replacing the plate but havent heard anything.
I went in yesterday and test drove the KIA Soul, everyone was great. Went back today and got a great deal on my new car. JR, Ricky, Jason, Willie and well everyone that works there is very friendly. We just walked out of Canton Kia with our new 2021 Seltos Sx. Jake was our salesman, he was easy to talk to & took his time explaining how EVERYTHING works in the vehicle, he returned our phone calls & gave us time to figure out what we wanted before purchasing our new vehicle. THANKS JAKE! We are in our 50s and enjoyed our experience with Kia, weve never bought a Kia & are looking forward to our next road trip. JR was AWESOME, he made sure we got an EXCELLENT price on our trade in, he made sure to ask if we were satisfied with the deal we got. Which was a very good price for our 2016 Chrysler 300. A EXCELLENT price on our Seltos too. Tony made sure that all of our Is were dotted & Ts crossed & that our payment was exactly what Jake told us it would be, Tony was great. The staff at Canton Kia is #1. EACH person we seen was professional, friendly and seem to really enjoy their jobs from the moment we walked into the store & during this Covid mess they made my husband & I feel REAL comfortable working with this group. Great experience with the finance department. Really works with you and cares. I would recommend them to family and friends. They are quite respectful and take the time and effort to find what your looking for (without being pushy in no way what so ever). The gentleman working in the finance department seemed to take pride in his job and was very open to lay down all the figures so you know exactly what your paying. Overall, one of the best experiences ive had a dealership. I look forward to coming back in the near future!
Good customer service! Easy registering my car online to schedule any of my maintenance services. Very clean and the employees are helpful whenever you need their assistance. I never have to wait an extended amount of time, and they even offer a points program to give cash back when you reach certain numbers. Very pleased with this Kia dealership
I love the Kia dealer in Canton Michigan the staff is so friendly and genuine. Yesterday I went in because of low pressure light concerning my tires I did not have an appointment they were very busy and short-staffed. I didnt get turned away he said he would get to me as soon as he could and they sure did this is my first time ever leasing a car and I have to say I will continue to lease cars and that will be at the Kia dealer in Canton. As far as a tire there was a nail in it.Thank you Kia dealer service department you guys rock!!!
I needed new rear brakes. I didnt make an appointment but they took me anyway. The kept me informed about how many appointments were ahead, gave me different price point options, washed the car. The waiting room was very nice and so were the service attendant and the cashier. I went in fully expecting to be there all day but I was in and out in 3 hours. I was impressed!
Alex was awesome. He was very helpful in every way. He took the time to answer all of my questions and explained everything in detail. The whole staff was very friendly. Felt like I have known them forever! Would definitely recommend Alex to anyone looking for a new vehicle.Thank you again!

2022-06-25Having previously worked with a dealership out in Southfield that shall remain nameless I was convinced to never do business with them again. Searching reviews online I found that Kia of Canton was the right fit. No pressure from the great sales team, Fadi listened and delivered exactly what we were looking for. Matt in financing explained in detail with clear language. Never once felt pressured into buying Nitrous tire inflation services or fabric protection. Reasonable market adjustment considering the current climate. I will move the loan to my bank as I can get a better rate. Long story short, Kia of Canton was a surprise and a much needed relief. 5 stars all around!

2022-02-28Ive had good experiences since purchasing my first Kia in 2016. This time I was turning in a lease and didnt know what my options were nor the best option for myself. Salesperson, Stacy, took the time answer all my questions prior to me coming the dealership. And spent time providing great advice on what option works best for me. I really appreciate genuine, honest, and patience especially in a salesperson, wasnt expecting that.

2022-06-03Kia of Canton has a wonderful staff that are all ready and willing to assist their customers. The dealership itself is very nice, quaint, homey, designed well, clean and welcoming. My salesman worked with me day in and day out to get the car I have been saving up for for a couple years - the 2022 K5 GT-Line with the Premium Package. The car’s shipment was about a month and a half late due to inventory issues, but my salesman always kept me up to date as they were able to.I highly recommend this dealership for their determination in getting their customers the car they desire, their kind staff, the inventory they receive on a reasonably timely basis and the very nice dealership.5/5 Stars!

2022-05-20Bought a new car which was the only dealership to have an affordable car available. There are a lot of shortages on new vehicles right now. We had an amazing experience with Ricky. He was our sales guy and helped us with the purchase of our new car. Plus I found the warranty on my New Kia is better than the warranty I had on my previous Ford. Will be back for my next vehicle.

2022-07-07Terrible dealer, trying to sell a water damaged vehicle, didnt even attempt to negotiate price.Also, yes this last complaint starts on me, my bad I locked my keys in my car on the lot, but I asked them for help and shouldnt have. Damaged my vehicle and didnt even get me in, if they couldnt do it I would have preferred they just said sorry call your roadside assistance.

2022-04-13My name is Kelly and I just had my car serviced at the Kia of Canton location. My engine light came on so the service department was able to get me in right away. Harold took care of my car and gave details of what part was needed. Ended up my warranty just recently passed but he honored it anyways! Customer service at its finest! Will always recommend working with Harold. I’ve worked with him in the past and I’m always happy when he’s there because I know I’m in good hands!!

Harold has always greeted me pleasantly and professionally, he has always explained everything to me in a manner that I can understand and has always been extremely positive.
