Comment: Updated: 2/23/2024: Personally, Tina is amazing to work with. She always has the LOs back and is very supportive. Prompt in responding to calls and understands the LO stance. However, she is limited by the Kind Lending rate. During the Loan Origination Process, I found a couple of lenders who are offering much better pricing compared to Kind and forwarded the information to Tina. Unfortunately, her hands are tied. LOs primary and ethical responsibility is to work in the interest of the Borrower. When the other lender is offering better pricing, I have to educate my borrower and help him understand. The borrower was not happy because the other lender was offering a better price and we felt like we were helpless due to the time constraint. Hence the rating. Nothing against Tina.in One Word TINA BENTLEY made it a great experience. At one point in time, I lost hope in the underwriting/condo processing team. Both teams were not on the same page. That is where Tina jumped in and came to the rescue. Without her intervention and bridging the gap, it would have been impossible to work with and bring it to good closure.

Comment: A bit surprised at the consistent 5 star reviews because I unfortunately did not have a great experience with Kind Lending.My closing was delayed over a week unnecessarily due to underwritings lack of thorough initial review. The AE on my transaction made false promises to my broker about pushing through my file with underwriting and that seemed to never happen.I was asked for documents that should have been requested in the beginning of the process. Underwriting took nearly two weeks to give me final clear to close over paperwork requests that could have been avoided with an initial thorough review. Different paperwork was submitted for final clear to close 3 times – after the first or second time all the required paperwork should have been caught and requested. I had to pay more in escrow fees and missed out on rental income due to their slow turn around times when their supposed underwriting turn around time is within 24 hours.It consistently took nearly 3 days to get a response from them for updates. I felt like there was no sense of urgency to close on my scheduled closing date. They get the 3 stars because at least I was finally able to close.I will not be working with this lender again - this process ended up being more stressful and frustrating than it needed to be because of Kind Lendings lack of communication and urgency.
