Took my car in for oil change. They got me in right away, so that was awesome and they are super nice at my dealership. As part of the overall inspection, they brought me the engine air filter and the cabin filter which both needed to be replaced. This is a busy time of year for me, so I had them change the filters. WOW. Talk about sticker shock!! I will NEVER let the dealership do that easy work again. I did the work before on my previous vehicle so I was familiar. I was soaked for $100 ... for $30 worth of parts and what I couldve done myself in less than an hour.
Outstanding experience working with Larry Wahl, Chance and Christina at Knapps Chevrolet Buick in Blissfield. Larry is low key yet very professional and knowledgeable. On delivery day he gave me the most complete & thorough feature by feature presentation Ive ever received. His product knowledge was amazing and I left the dealership with a real head start on learning the operation of this new truck. Great place, nicest people!
Go see Larry Wahl. He is a straight shooter that does not play any games. I bought my new Tahoe and was out of the dealership in under a hour. I wasnt pressured for any upgrades with warranties. Sold the SUV for MSRP which is unheard of with these shortages going on. I drove almost 5 hours to this dealership and wouldnt hesitate again for this premium service. Thank you Larry!
My experience with Mr. Damoulin at Knapp Chevrolet Buick was above and beyond the best of service. He was so professional and seemed to know exactly what I was trying to accomplish. His explanations were very clear and he was a wonderful listener. I felt so good about the whole process and was able to come home early with my new vehicle. Larry Wahl was excellent from start to finish. He assisted me with the ordering of my new truck, picking out optional accessories, and figuring out which ones would work best for my needs. When that beautiful truck arrived Larry took care of everything in a very quick and efficient fashion to get me in the truck and on the road! We have purchased two new truck from Larry within the last 3 months, and he will definitely be recommended to others in the market for a new vehicle!
I have been paying for a car loan for 4 years on a lemon 2010 gmc terrain that I could not drive. It was sold to me by elite motor mall of monroe MI which is now the Toyota dealer in dundee MI. It was a situation where they forced this vehicle down my throat with no other options. Knapp motors (Ryan Oneill) took the time to find me the best deal possible with my situation. I obviously was totally upside down and stuck with my previous purchase. Or so I thought. They got me the best possible trade in for it and my beater pick up that I was currently driving. Now I am a proud owner of a 2020 chevy equinox that me and my family absolutely love. I pulled into this dealership 15 minutes before closing time and asked for assistance with putting air in two of my tires. (Dont judge, I tried to do it myself and failed, miserably. LOL) The gentleman in the service department was beyond gracious. He pulled my car in, put air in the tires and even replaced a cap that was missing on one of the tires. He sent me on my way with a No charge and drive careful! Faith in humanity restored!
Absolutely amazing customer service! Mr Larry Wahl took care of me throughout the whole process, very easy to deal with, very accommodating, and treated me with the upmost respect. He gave me a great deal on my 2016 Tahoe LT and me and my wife couldn’t be any happier, we did run into a issue post sale but Larry, Manager Chance Dew and their team took care of that issue immediately without hesitation even though it’s my fault for overlooking it. The finance manger Chris Gentner took care of my finance needs, offered me some great warranty options, gave me a great finance rate along with my preferred lender! All in all I will be a life long Knapp Chevy customer and will be returning soon for a pick up truck. Thank you again Knapp family for taking care of me and my family, the experience was very humbling and absolutely effortless. This all coming from a lifelong Used Car Salesperson. If that doesn’t say anything I don’t know what would.
Could not say enough great things about this dealership. I bought my vehicle from a different lot and have had several issues since purchasing the vehicle. I have brought it to Knapps and they have been so helpful. They offered me a loaner vehicle while mine was in the shop. Had to return to have my radio unlocked and they again were so helpful. The men in the service department are so helpful and knowledgeable. I will continue to do business with this dealer and the next time I am ready to purchase a new vehicle I will be coming to Knapp Motors.
My husband and I had a fantastic experience with the service department. A module for a sensor when out on my car and it caused issues with the DIC, Environmental Controls and Radio. They were able to find the issue and get my car back to me very quickly. I would highly recommend their service department and plan on using this dealership for our auto needs in the future.
Bunch of CLOWNS. Management sucks. Only there to make a dollar and not help you any.Bought a brand new truck from here and drive home not even 2 hours after signing papers I notice a piece of trim on the front bumper is hanging down damaged. Go in the next morning (not even 24 hours after signing) and talk to service about the damaged bumper and they said there was nothing they could do and that I would have to pay for repairs.I walked up and then spoke with my salesman and he finally said that they would go ahead and cover the cost of repairs and a new part. So they went ahead and ordered it. Two weeks go by and I never received a phone call saying my part is in or to drop my truck off so I give them a call. Only to find out after waiting two weeks that they send the part back and they decided they weren’t going to cover it after all!!After finding out they were clowning around and not going to cover the part I asked to speak with the owner. He proceeded to tell me that I USED them. And that because of the condition of my trade in they had to take a hit on the sale. And told me not to bring my vehicle to any of his dealerships for any type of service.Very unprofessional. The sales manager Chad was extremely unprofessional as well when I went in the next day to ask about the damaged bumper. Went way over board and could of been handled in a much better way.I would like to say Thanks to suburban Chevy in Clinton for repairing KRAPP motors mess up.And would like to thank Frank Beck for the great service and other warranty work.Go Clowns
Absolutely excellent customer service! They really go above and beyond for their customer. My power train warranty was one day lapsed and the part I needed would have been covered by it. The service guy (Mike I think) called GM about the circumstances. Ultimately GM would not cover the part but Knapp, as in the actual dealership, did because they felt that was what was fair and the right thing to do since I had scheduled my appt before the warranty lapsed. I cannot say enough good things about them. Every time I go they have been very friendly, nice and polite and now they have gained a customer for life!
Transmission went out on our 2011 Equinox. We went to our mechanic for 30 years, the cost was staggering. I contacted our sales guy, Kevin VanErt to determine if the vehicle was worth the cost of repair. Turned out we still owed too much not to repair the car. The service department contacted us, repair estimate was several hundred dollars less, AND they were genuine GM parts. With a warranty. Plus, we are eligible for a $200 rebate. Knapp Motors went and got the vehicle from our 30+year mechanics parking lot. It was a costly repair we had to do, but so pleased with our dealer Knapp. We will continue to purchase cars from them. Im thinking 10-12 vehicles so far with my husband and I, kids and now grandchildren, all with Kevin Van Ert. His email in November was my first birthday greeting. This dealership is just good all the way around. Not sure if this quality would be available in a bigger area like Detroit but I dont know. We were very satisfied.

I recently purchased a Buick Enclave from Knapp Chevrolet, with the help of Ryan ONeill, and couldnt be happier. I had been looking for a third row vehicle for months but wasnt sure which type of vehicle I wanted. Ryan took the time to figure out my familys needs and recommended several vehicles that met them. Knapp Chevrolet sold me a great vehicle and provided exceptional service!
Bought my 14 Silverado purchased 1-2014 from Knapp had trans issue which was covered under warranty. Wife leased 1 Equinox and purchased 1 Equinox from them as well as my daughter leased a Cruze and purchased a used Encore. I wanted to get back into an Avalanche and they could not find one at auction so I purchased one from another dealer. Bad move, as attitudes changed. Service writer on up seemed to dislike that fact. Daughters lease was turned in early due to stolen key fob, and the extra coverage that we paid for was not covering the missing key fob until I spoke of contacting the owner Matt Bell. We were also told when we turned in the lease and purchased a used car that we owed NO MORE money, but GM Leasing kept sending us bills and it even showed up on my daughters Credit karma they owed GM Financial money until we paid more.My GM Platinum warranty purchased on my truck from Knapp (vehicle purchased at another dealer) would not cover the dash breaking apart and not even a good will gesture from them to help in the repair, and all this as I worked for them being paid minimum wage to boot.Oh, and the engine blew up in the Buick Encore that my daughter bought. Complete rebuild at another dealer, thankfully under warranty, but motor is leaking AGAIN. NO MORE GM products for us.You done lost several customers over this Matt Bell.
Went in to have my car looked at the service area first took forever to set up time and date for appt.Next outrages prices on parts and service for 2 things. Second Terrible customer service on that end while missing details about fees and other missed chargesWouldn’t go to them ever again !
Salesman was great but, i had them check the front end of the car prior to buying it and was told the RF tie rod was bad and they would replace it and perform an alignment. I was told all work was completed before I signed the paperwork. So I bought the car I took it to the tire shop to replace all the tires and they informed me the car has a bad RF tie rod end and needs and alignment... Needless to say I wasnt very happy especially when I drove the car home 40 miles from the dealership with a bad tie rod end..

I purchased from Knapp Motors because the salesman I have bought from since 1992 moved to Bill Crispin Chev. and after purchasing from him I became completely dissatisfied with their service department. Knapps service took care of my problems even though I had not purchased there.The process of buying a new truck was great and I am very happy with it.
Been coming to Knapp for years and they always have taken care of our needs from sales to service and if they need to keep vehicle overnight they give me a car to drive while they do the repairs I dont have to worry about finding a ride such a nice feature most of all everyone is very nice which makes our experience AWESOME
Sales Jason Kohlruss knows his products that he sells. Everyone is nice up they are very helpful if they dont know what the answer is they call an expert to get the correct answer. There follow up is good. There service department will call you to remind you about an appointment you have which is nice.
Took it in last Friday for an oil change & Engine light...did the oil change, turned the light off & said I was good. On Saturday, the Engine light was back on. Returned on Monday & the charged me $190 for something related to the light, they said...drove away, and light was back on...went back & waited for them to fix a loose wire...gave me a loaner AFTER I was late to work...got a call late in the afternoon that I needed the timing chain replaced... $2400... $279/hour for labor???...said, no thanks & returned on Tuesday to pick the car up...when I got in it, my seat motor was broke...service person tried to say that it wasnt their fault...wasnt like that when I dropped it off...took the loaner car back & finally got a call on Friday that the motor was fixed...finally got my car back on Saturday morning...have already spoken with ANOTHER GM Dealership that only charges $102.50/hour for labor...I dont understand why the HUGE difference in labor costs for the repair...will never be back, at this point, for service or a purchase...very disappointing.
I called to ask about a Malibu with specific options. Chance called me back in 5 minutes with a vehicle that had what we were looking for and a payment that was great. The lease process went quicly and smooth. It was worth the drive from Monroe to recieve great customer service and respect! Great job Knapp Motors!
Kevin VanErts customer service was top-notch! I inquired about a car via the website and he reached out right away. He was never pushy and he was willing to email and text our communications. Kevin was one of the reasons I purchased a car via Knapp over other dealers. I would like to mention that Chris and Wendy were also very helpful with getting all the paperwork straight behind the scenes. Thank you to Adam at Knapp! Out of 15 dealerships in Mi and Ohio, Adam is the only one who kept in contact with us. We ended up buying a truck somewhere else just because of availability, but I wouldnt hesitate to check with Adam FIRST upon looking for another vehicle!
I was looking for an extended warranty for my aging Cadillac CTS when I came across Knapp. I ended up working with Robyn over the course of a few days. I have to say, I took some time to get quotes from other sources and ended up coming back to Knapp and Robyn. Robyn was great in explaining all options I had for my CTS. My local dealership seemed to have some confusion when it came to these new GMEPPs and kept trying to push my towards an Ally plan but that wasnt an option as my CTSs bumper to bumper warranty had expired long ago. Im glad I came across Knapp and Robyn. I was able to get a great price on a GM backed warranty. If youre in the market for a GMEPP I would strongly recommend getting a quote from Knapp!
Friday Nov. 12 @ 2:00pm got my first free oil change at Knapps in Blissfield. service dept very friendly and even threw in a free car wash. Sorry to say I wont be dealing with Knapps in the future due to having money stolen from my console from someone who entered my vehicle while it was being serviced. I immediately notified the service manager he looked surprised when I informed him of the theft but said nothing. It wasnt a large amount of money but the fact there is a thief employed at Knapps I would prefer not to do business with them in the future.I would rather do business with an honest dealership.thank you, Donna Blankenship

Had my traverse in for timing chain replacement and steering problems spent over 2000 dollars when i got it back the heater control no longer worked the steering locked up while driving had to force the steering wheel to move and now the steering wheel is not centered the check engine light was on had to have the computer programmed due to shifting problems i went back twice to talk to the service department but all i got was the price to look at it again this is why people dont trust GM dealers you pick up your car and it has more problems than when you took it in and then they get more money to repair things that were not bad when you first took it in this is what is killing the US automakers

2022-07-01Knapp Motors is simply THE BEST. We have bought and leased cars from this dealership for over 25 years now. The sales and service department are excellent. I would never go anywhere else. A small town dealership with no pressure and everyone there is willing to go the extra mile to do whatever you need. Larry Wahl is such a great sales person and so helpful. I LOVE Knapp!!!

2022-05-05My daughter and I were on our way to have a day at the Aquatic Club when we had a call from ON STAR and my engine light came on letting us know that there was a problem with my tire. I was not familiar with the area, but luckily there was Knapp near by. We went in as my tire was still losing pressure and they got us checked in. Of course there was a small wait, but we were so happy to be able to get such good service with no notice and no appointment. When we were done there was no charge and even though I tried to tip, they were just happy to help. I work at GM, so I want to give them a proper THANK YOU! The waiting area was clean, cool and comfy. They had restrooms and even a vending area. Great service and very friendly. My 5 year old daughter and I who were only prepared with swim wear are very appreciative.Thank you Service Professional John Eisenreich and Mechanic Jacob Sivil. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I wanna add to this review, but I gotta give Jim Zitzelberger a huge thank you, because he’s got a great personality and he is such a good person to have in Service. In the future, if you have someone go home sick, or call in, I would appreciate a call to see if I would like to reschedule. I think that would be a little more considerate. 2022-05-27Knapp Chevrolet Buick is the most welcoming, cleanest, responsive organized and flexible dealer Ive ever dealt with. From the sales staff, detailers to the financing/money dept., they all had smiles on their faces (good to see lately) and eager to help. I wished I lived closer to them because Im sure the service dept. is over the top as well. I highly recommend this place. It was worth my two hour drive. BZ!

2022-06-04Bought a Kia Rio that shifted slightly different than my previous cars, but was told it was fine and thats just how Rios are.Fast forward 3 years and Ive gotten MAYBE 6 months of solid driving out of it without there being issues.That odd shifting turned into a ton of engine/transmission issues that seem to never end.Got sold an absolute lemon.Buyers beware.

2022-03-17I love how friendly they all are in the service department. Also, they do the job right, the first time. I drive there, from Toledo, because the Toledo GM dealerships dont have service departments that can hold a candle to Knapps.
