Comment: As a summer project, my son and I rebuilt almost the entire front-end suspension and steering on our 2002 Ford Windstar. The last step was a professional re-alignment. I spoke to Ethan at KNG and he arranged a same-day appointment for 2 pm. We arrived and immediately struck a chord with Ethan in person. The ink was barely dry on the work order before the mini-van was being pulled into the alignment bay. About an hour later, the van was being backed out, test driven, and then parked. No one tried tried to sell us any other items. We got exactly what we came for. All the guys there, Johnny, George etc were all as friendly and business focused as Ethan. Im a retired mechanic and I would trust my business to KNG for anything I didnt care to do myself in the future. I drove a very long way to have this work done, andIm very happy I did - made a few new friends. Oh, and the van tracks beautifully now. Its almost a self-driving Tesla! Well, as long as the road doesnt curve! Thanks KNG Team!

Comment: Went to get my oil changed on 5/31/2024. ETHAN was the one who helped me at the end. When it was time to pay, he informed me multiple times that my serpentine belt was really cracked and that it was important to replace it ASAP. I told him its OK and that ill come back another time where he then he continued to inform me that it is NOT OK and that when it cracks my car will overheat and that will be a much more serious job than fixing the initial cracked belt. As I was paying, he reminded me again of the importance of fixing the belt because it is old, original, and cracked.I went to Auto Zone and bought my own belt, and went back to Good Year to have it fixed. Ethan was again at the front desk helping me. Before I paid the $100, I had asked to see the belt that he acclaimed was about to crack.Not 1 single crack was on the belt.I questioned why he mislead me the week prior in believing the belt dangerously cracked and was about to break leading to more serious problems. He said I was just reading the notes and it said it was cracked, look there is oil on the belt, and it is original and needs to be replaced every 5-7 years. I was so upset and frustrated that he completely ripped me off. I a shocked at the honest and good service he claims to gives to customers. There was not even 1 crack in the belt and he lead me to believe that it would break any moment because of how badly cracked it is.Not a good way to start the day being ripped off.

Comment: I bought a group-on here for an oil change. They said my coolant needed to be flushed. Pretty odd considering it was flushed 7,000 miles ago. I had my car looked over the previous week and they didn’t mention anything about the coolant. I mentioned this to the guy at the front desk and he just brushed me off, acting as if I knew nothing about cars. But maybe I was still wrong, so I checked the coolant a few days late. It was clear blue, not dirty whatsoever. These guys just use the cheap oil change to trick new customers into getting things they don’t need. Comment: Came in for an oil change which was good, but I was then told I need 3 new tires, which is understandable. I was then offered a quote of $500+ for tires so I told the guy I’ll get back to him. Less than 2 hours later and I’m stuck on the side of the road due to a giant screw in one of my tires that Is now flat. Sounds fishy to me. It wasn’t flat due to balding but a huge screw and now my only off day is ruined, and they’re still not getting the $500+. Wish I would of read the reviews before coming here and leaving with a problem. Writing this as I am stuck waiting for help and wasting money.

Comment: This is a great shop. Friendly service, even though it seems like they are always busy. They seem to have time to stop and take care of you and your car. They stand by their work and parts. I had to take my car back in under warranty to correct an issue. Even though it had been almost a year since they work on my car they replaced the defective parts for free and my car has never felt better.

Comment: Hello Out There! Overall had a great experience here with George (the owner) and his team. I purchased and had them out a new set of tires on my 2015 Z71 Tahoe, new pads and the front (they turned my rotors as well) and upon further inspection they noticed whomever installed the pads on my rear tires previously installed them backwards - was a great catch by their Technician!Waiting area was clean + there’s plenty of shopping options around and restaurants you can walk to visit while waiting.*5 Starts all around!

Comment: Worst service ever. I called to schedule an appointment and I was told sure we can take you in at 2:30 which was already 230 and I said well it’s 230 already. He said oh I’m sorry we can take you in at four I said, OK great, I’ll be right in I came in. It was just about 3 o’clock and as I walked in Ethan is at the front desk I asked I need an oil change. His first response was we’re backed up and I was like OK I’ll wait. He said it’s gonna be about two hours. You should come back tomorrow, I can make you an appointment because that’ll be easier. If you have an appointment it’s about 45 minute wait, you have made an appointment. It seems like he was trying to discourage me from getting an oil change but it’s raining and I already drove here because I did have an appointment for 4 o’clock, but because he wouldn’t let me speak. He didn’t even know that I actually had an appointment that Bart had made for me. He asked me for my keys and he proceeded to come outside and take my mileage and came back gave me a receipt and said that it would be two hours about 38 minutes in one of the other employees came back out and got in my car and was in my car for a little bit and then he came back out put my keys in the bag and put my stuff back on the Wall and proceeded to get the next car. I asked Ethan why was I skipped he went to talk to the guy and said that my car wouldn’t start we came back out and we realized that the steering wheel is locked and the key won’t turn. What did they do to my car? I have no idea, but now my car won’t start and he took no accountability never apologize he was rude very unprofessional and I ended up calling a tow truck to get my car tow because it won’t start. He said he didn’t do anything to my car in order for him to get my mileage, he pressed the button which is unlikely because you have to actually turn the key to get the mileage it’s an electrical car you cannot turn the key and get any response from this car so no you did something to my car after I called the tow truck I went to speak to him and I asked if I could speak to a manager for my surprise he stated he was the manager And I told him your attitude, rude unappreciative and stated that it was a long day and it was yes he had a bad day but then said that I was using him as my punching bag. I didn’t have a bad day buddy my day was great until I came here And came across you with your bad vibes. Never apologize for anything was very pompous and uncaring. Bart, who had made my appointment for 4 o’clock even came back after to check up on me which is 6:00 PM. He apologize he offered to bring me a tea he offered to give me a ride home he went above and beyond, his professionalism does not compare anything to Ethan so if you go to this shop just always remember to ask for Bart. He seems to have a great attitude and has more customer skills. Goodyear if there’s an award that you give to your employees, I would suggest that Bart should be the next employee of the month if not the next employee of the year.

Comment: I made an appointment for an oil change at 3 PM on Saturday 11/18/2023. I spoke with Ethan at 11 AM to schedule the appointment and he indicated the oil change will take 35 minutes. I arrived at the KNG and checked-in with Ethan at about 2:55 PM. At 3:35 PM I noticed they still had not moved my car from the parking lot. I asked Ethan what was going on with my car and how come it had not been brought in for the oil change? He said they were busy and that my car wouldnt be done until about an hour later at 4:30 PM. I reminded Ethan that when I spoke with him earlier that day he told me it would be done within 35 minutes. He then proceeded to tell me that they were short-staffed. I asked him when did he know they were short-staffed? Ethan responded, when they opened this morning, which was well before I scheduled the appointment with him. I told Ethan this was ridiculous and the shop manager overheard me. Then the shop manager offered to change my oil Right away. I asked the shop manager why did Ethan tell me it would take until 4:30 pm to get my oil changed. He responded because I had not asked him (the shop manager). In the end I decided not to have my oil changed at this shop because I dont trust them and they were dishonest.

Comment: I came in for an oil change from conventional to synthetic. Showed my groupon. 1 hour in they tell me I need a new oil pan and gasket because its leaking oil. (I know its leaking). Funny thing is, last time I was here for an oil change, 4 months ago, they told me it was a timing chain gasket problem. And theyre trying to make me pay $400 for a new pan and gasket. I make some calls and when I come back they offer me $235. Where was that price to begin with?? They also refuse to give me my car back until I pay them to replace the stuff thats broken and its really irritating.

Comment: DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE, took our BMW here for a oil change and it has turned out a nightmare, immediately after picking up the car we noticed it was smoking, called them and they said it might just be because some oil may of come into contact with the engine after performing oil change, after noticing that the smoking was still happening took the car to a different shop, found out that these clowns broke the oil filter house.AVOID THIS PLACE,,, as you can tell the clowns at this place also can not read basic English, it clearly states that we contacted them immediately and he head clown response says it would have leaked immediately, DUH,,, AVOID THIS PLACE . Comment: Feel very misled and wasted lots of money. Came in for an alignment, they told me my car wouldn’t hold an alignment because I need new tire rod ends. These people are very nice and seem trustworthy, they ASSURED me that it would align no problem and hold an alignment AFTER replacing the tire rod ends. Altogether ended up costing something around $270😭 then IT STILL DIDNT ALIGN. It actually didn’t even SLIGHTLY improve, the misalignment was the same as it originally was. I never received an alignment report on any of the times I came in to have it aligned and realigned under the warranty. New tire rod ends and came in multiple times for realignment all for nothing. They told me there was nothing they could do about it not aligning. Well they should have known that before they told me I needed new tire rod ends. The tire rod ends didn’t even slightly fix the misalignment. I never needed them. I don’t think these people are scammers but for a young girl this was a lot of money for me and time coming in multiple times, and my car is the exact same as it was before all of this.

Comment: I am absolutely upset at how Ethan handled a scheduled appointment and service. I had a scheduled appointment and I drove all the way from Long Beach to get my oil change. I have been coming to kng for about 4 years now and have always gotten a regular oil change. Last year I was offered the synthetic oil change if I wanted to upgrade, but I kindly declined. This year, when I went I was also offered the synthetic oil change but I declined. However, Ethan stated he could not help me unless I got the synthetic oil change. I told him to look in the system and that the last few years I have gotten a regular oil change and that I would like to keep it that way. He stated that he did see that in the system, but he couldn’t offer me service unless I chose the synthetic option. He was arguing with me and refused to help me. I went home upset, not only because of 1 hour drive to and from the location, but on how Ethan handled it. And you might ask, why I didn’t ask for a manager!? — I didn’t trust what they would do to my car if I had created a scene and got the service. Therefore, I calmly exited and I would rather take my business elsewhere. I hope you do too.

The owner said I need to change the break and the sensor. I said okay, but then I have a dinner reservation to attend to since it is my birthday, so I can’t leave the car, the owner started yelling at the mechanic to put to tires back, and he told me to leave by saying I wasted his time. Comment: Found them on Groupon, easily to make appt the next day7/14/2023 -$560.41- Changed oil + wheel alignment (Groupon deal)- Replaced brake pads, coolant flush, and moreOn the same day, I went down to San Diego and my car kept moving swiftly and oversteering dangerously on the freeway and local. I checked and saw that one of the tires had uneven wear on the side (very obviously and of course my mechanics didnt give me a head up when he changed the brake pad and did tire rotation). I changed the tire immediately the next day and returned to Orange, the oversteer is less but still very unstable.7/18 -$0I came back asking for an alignment re-check. The young male receptionist told me this is the best they could do, and did not want to give me the alignment report, only allowing me to take photos. However, the problem was still there.7/25 -$951.72- Join balls + brake padThe oversteer gave me headaches and distress every time I drove, so I needed to return to talk to them. The other guy (not Ethan) aggressively told me that kind of my cars problem, this was the last time the mechanics would work on it. Oh wow hello, do you think I want to return for ONE SINGLE problem? I know my cars alignment was bad but not this worst.They took my car into their garage and came out saying that someone changed my tire and did a lousy job because he can shake my tire easily. Hm, I must be flying with my car; otherwise, I couldn’t safely be in another location that was 20 miles away from my house.Okay, then he told me to change the joint balls (broken) + strut (bad but okay)+ front brake pad. The aggressive guy now told me thats their fault for not checking the brake carefully and that he now will cut something on my brake disk free for me (? didnt say this on the paper so I dont know what his magical words meant)***I appreciated the mechanical job and hard work during summer time. I trusted Groupon and Yelps reviews but I got displeased things when working with this business:- The tone and the phrasing of the aggressive guy without listening to the whole story and checking the car again thoroughly - POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE- They made me come back the third time to finally took care of my cars problem. - IGNORING CUSTOMER FEEDBACKTo end my review, here is the famous quote of Warren Buffett: It takes 20 years to build a reputation and five minutes to ruin it. If you think about that, youll do things differently.

Comment: After thinking on this for a few days I have come to the following conclusion... Ill lead off by saying they didnt do by work. However, Ive never had so many misquotes and excuses along with a $100+ price increase from a quote because the two workers didnt communicate the work properly to each other. On top of that, what was on the itemized receipt simply didnt match what I was told in some cases (EX: Tire rotation quoted $20 but charged $30 when the tires were ALREADY OFF THE CAR FOR THE OTHER WORK). I think they either need a major overhaul in their customer service and organization at this location. Mechanics do good work though so no issues there.

Comment: These guys have saved me from a bad day. I went there to get an oil change and they checked the tires as well. They found a nail in one of my tires. I didn’t know there was a nail there. I ended up buying a new tire but at least I didn’t find out mid driving to work or school. They also did the tire rotation for free. Groupon gives you a discount but they can also do that, so pay directly.

Comment: Went in to get an oil change, and while they were working on my car, they noticed the back wheel alignment was off. The back tires were about to blow, and George had me come out to take a look myself. He explained everything clearly so that I could understand, and when I told him my budget was below the normal cost, he offered me a better deal than I could’ve dreamed of. I ended up getting two tires replaced, an oil change, and a full wheel alignment for very very affordable price thanks to the kindness and compassion of George and his crew. Thank you guys!!! I went in there for an oil change to find out I had some serious problems going on! as they were doing the oil change, they also did a free inspection that comes with every oil change and let me know that I needed a power stirring pump replaced, so they found me one at a killer price after calling around to find it. had the parts sent over and are going to be replacing a belt that I was shown was about to snap and brake which can do more damage to my car. long story short they made the time for me and will have my car back to me by then end of today anddddd gave me a loaner car for free while I was having to deal with all of this! they are super nice and not trying to rip you off, just the opposite. When I brought it back the 3rd time they told me their guy isnt qualified enough for the job and I should look for a specialist place..... for a blower motor.... They charged me over $140 each time just to replace the fuse. Took it over to Kens Automotive he correctly diagnosed it and replaced the blower motor for $220 parts included. Guy at the counter is clearly in over his head and cant keep up with the amount of traffic coming in and out. Highly recommend going somewhere else.

Comment: I feel stupid for bringing 3 different cars here, I should have learned. Came to a halt after the manager interrupted me multiple times and raised his voice, unprofessional. I ended up being looped into bringing my cars back under warranty while they added on extra costs and parts every time..I had a clutch replaced, which was sticking after they replaced it.. I almost rear ended several people becuase of the clutch failure AFTER they replaced it..when I brought it back once they said something had come loose, the second time told me nothing was wrong..car had the issue the entire time, had to get rid of the car, I heard from the next owner a clutch line EXPLODED!!!! i wasnt making up the issue they just didnt want to fix it!!!!.. next car, my gf brought her car in complaining of a strange noise, they replaced her alternator (idk why) but the noise was still there, turns out her car had an oil leak and was running dry, which we found and fixed on our own..The alternator they put it burnt out and needed REREPLACEMENT..next car, after an estimate of $1000 to fix my air conditioning, they raised it to $1500 after it was installed becuase their fix broke something else.. Air conditioning stopped working that week then they had to replace the fan, $500.. Air conditioning stopped working again, now they want more money and more parts and more labor. I dont trust them as mechanics, especially the manager I think his name was Alex.

Comment: On the surface everything seems fine. They did my oil change but in the process they discovered that I had an axle that was leaking oil and needed replacement. They also found out that my battery was leaking acid. I let them do the $400 axle repair but I did not let them replace my battery because AAA had replaced my battery within the last year so that should be replaced by them. I called AAA the next day. They met me at my home and tested the battery. It tested like a brand new battery. And there was no acid leakage. The tech said that the service center was trying to pad my repair bill by selling me a new battery even though I did not need one. That made me wonder if the axle repair was needed. I will not be back. They took advantage of the fact that I have no mechanical knowledge.

They have the best prices on synthetic oil changes which includes rotation of your tires, and they always let me know if there are issues with my tires which helps me get get highest mpg.They are fair, knowledgeable, skillful, nice people, not in it for the money - but for your long-term business, and fast! I have a mechanic specifically for hybrids, but when it comes to tires and oil changes, tire rotations, and any issues pertaining to your steering system, they cant be beat. We took it down the street to America’s tires. They stated the whoever has balanced and put the weights on our tires didn’t do it right. Last time I was here, they told me that my inside CV boot had busted a seal. Comment: I came in for an alignment this on a tuesday morning . I felt that I wasn’t treated as I should of . The guy in the front doesn’t have any type of customer service. That’s just the beginning. They knew my car had an IID(ignition interlock device) so they let my car get in a lockout and that cost me over $100 . Plus now my steering wheel is not even aligned. It goes sideways when I try to make it straight.Update: this place is the worst place to go ! Don’t waste your time . The owner is accusing me of being drunk lol. Is That’s the best excuse you got ? How would I gotten my car there in the first place ! And I payed with a Groupon! Nothing is free in life . So you guys need to do your job right . Worst staff I ever met! Spend your money elsewhere. Thanks for nothing .

We got a groupon offer and once we got to this place, they told us it will cost more so we decided to get it changed at Valvoline because it’s cheaper and faster. They redeemed our voucher and although we didn’t proceed with the service, they said they will refund our money but it was never refunded. Very disappointed.

Comment: Shady, fearmongering mechanics. Came in for a standard oil change, after the other Goodyear tried to upsell me on an oil pan. They did the oil change, and then claimed I have a head gasket leak and my car absolutely will catch on fire if I try to drive it cross country. Repair is $550. Asked him to repeat what he said to my father on my phone-- suddenly unwilling to repeat the bit about catching on fire, and dropped the price of the necessary repair to $400. I left and drove 3,000 miles without any issues and my car certainly did NOT catch on fire. Just ridiculous. I wont be giving any Goodyear location my business ever again.

Comment: Found on groupon, called to check availability, was told not to purchase Groupon, theyd honor in store, so I went in for a $16 for a oil change! Thought it was a great value. But by the time they added waste feee of $5 and extra oil of $5, it was not a deal at all. I was told they had to make up for the sale cost somehow... wow, really? Anyway, it was quick and the tech was decent. Advisor was quick and pretty dismissive.**Chances are a 10 cent diamond isnt a worth a dime!**

Comment: Ive been coming here with both my vehicles that were purchased in 2015 - absolutely phenomenal service but the recent changes have made for some awkward interactions... you can tell there is a bit of tension in the pricing - I called 2x this week to be quoted 2 different prices (both not too far off though), only to come in and be told a completely off number. Sadly, it is the second time this has happened in the last two visits and it may be my last. I believe they are very good, they have solid integrity (that will suck to lose), but they are missing communication to the consumer. Dont stress things. Dont bate and switch. Get back to being honest, simple, and reliable - the little things matter!!! Thanks for almost 5 great years!

Comment: My car was damaged during a routine oil change and tire alignment. After leaving this location I drove a 40 minute round trip and my oil pressure light came on accompanied by a rattling sound from the engine. I took the vehicle back to the shop for further analysis the next day. Advanced Car Care returned my vehicle to me declaring they had changed the oil again and the warning lights from the engine turned off. The next day I drove a very short distance and my VSC warning light, check engine light and oil pressure warning light all came on and the rattle sound from the engine was now more profound. I took my vehicle to the Toyota dealer who discovered that Goodyear Advanced Car Care had damaged the metal oil baffle cover, broke the oil filter housing by using the wrong filter and used the wrong oil in the engine. The repair cost me $459 plus a rental car and transportation costs to and from the dealer and rental agency. This is highly unacceptable and unprofessional. Oil changes are routine maintenance but care should still be taken vehicle to vehicle as not all have the same requirements. As a professional vehicle service center the staff should be aware of this and take all the proper precautions when doing even routine work. I would never recommend to anyone to use this service center.
