Kroger in other cities:
We live in the area and we avoid going to this location. We will pay higher cost just to not go here! Every time we go there is a different person outside walking car to car asking for money or there is a person inside the store, telling you to buy them some food. The shelves are not stocked, the isles are extremely confusing and we you talk to the management, they do not react or care. My kids are just now driving and I will not let them go there as we are worried they will get hit in the parking lot or a begger will approach them IN THE STORE!Avoid this store!
Its clean and decent but the day before Easter I came in and once I got my items and went to the check out I tried greeting the cashier and she just gave me a look and was on her phone and after the transaction I tried to be nice and say have a nice day and she just hopped back on her phone rude much
I go to this Kroger often for lunch, I usually order from the deli. Its close to work, and somewhat convenient, if you can get help at is.Most times the food isnt prepared for lunch, and if it is, the people behind the counter dont look up, dont greet you, or ask if they can be help.Ive been cutting them a little slack because everyone is shorthanded.enough is enough, I went there yesterday, there were 4 people behind the counter, no one in front of me, because they got tired of waiting, and once again no acknowledgment, no help. I had to practically scream to get someones attention, and when they finally woke up, they acted as if I was bothering them. Its the new normal there.
Ive been here twice for clicklist. The first time I waited almost an hour for them to bring out my itemsThe second time I called at 8pm to verify my order was ready. I was told give us an hour and it will be.I drive all the way to the store at 9pm, Called and was told were closed for pickupsI ended up not getting my items that day, and called the following day, spoke with Cliff, the manager on duty who told me everything was ready to be picked up. When I arrived to the store no one else was around the clicklist area. 1 car pulled up and left with their items in a matter of 5 minutes. While Im still waiting I writing this review, coming up on over 30 minutes of waiting.I will never be back to this Kroger for anything.
This Kroger understaffs and underpays its pickup department and has ZERO quality control. Every time I go to get my order, the pickup department has been overscheduled and I always have to leave and drive back 2-5 hours later than I was scheduled to receive my items. Today I picked up roughly 20 dollars worth of produce hours later than I was supposed to receive it, and almost all of my fruits and vegetables were moldy and expired when I got them. I was told that if I wanted a refund, I would have to dig it up out of my trash and bring it in to the service desk (which Im sure is also understaffed). I will not be shopping here again.
So, when I asked an employee why half of the you-scan registers were closed and the lines for every register were stretched down the Isles I was told We aint got nobody to run them. When I said that it was pretty ridiculous, she said Id just go home if I were you. Seriously?
All the doors were locked to get in, and we arrived about an hour and a half BEFORE closing time. There were no carts anywhere. We had to hunt one down inside the store. They made a store closing announcement an hour before closing time and then shut off all the lights to all the coolers. I rarely write a bad review, but this was ridiculous. If you want people to leave at 10, then close at 10. Dont passively aggressively make people feel unwelcome to shop. We drove out of our way hoping for a nice Kroger experience. We shouldve just gone to Meijer.
So Im pregnant right now and there was a very rude MAN cleaning the WOMENS bathroom and I walk in the bathroom and I even ask him could I use the bathroom and this man rolled his eyes at me and told me he guess I could use the bathroom and then he said hurry up so then I didnt even feel comfortable going in there because he didnt want to leave the bathroom for me to use it anyway...very upsetting!!
Don’t use online ordering! If you do, call the store to confirm they actually received the order. I ordered a cake online, got no automated reply from Kroger, so I called the store to make sure my order was received. Not only did they say they didn’t have it, but I can’t order it now because they don’t have anyone to make it in time. Neither of these issues, them not receiving the order or not having anyone to make it in time, are my fault. I thought it would be easier for them to receive the online order rather than over the phone, given all the details in an order. I will have to make other arrangements, but if you’re planning something super important, talk to a real person.
This place has completely gone down hill. Its dirty, lacks items I need, Click List is always wrong, panhandlers in the lot and at the door, trash in the lot, and checkout is a beyond slow.I used to really like this store and Ive shopped there forever, but no more. Ill pay a premium at Westborn to not deal with the nonsense.
If you like getting humiliated and literally cussed at by the supervisor because you got to the register at 10:01 and they close at 10:00 go ahead and am not even joking as a matter of fact I have her on camera and she still didn’t care I wish I can put the video on here but it won’t let me
Serious management issues. Constantly understaffed, only 2 checkout lines open during peak hours, lined up all the way to the back of the store, literally. Not an exaggeration. Im standing in line as I write this, after waiting for 35 mins I still have 6 people ahead of me. I called customer service & after 11 minutes someone answered, the Supervisor. I politely asked if it were possible for them to open up another lane, and she had a god awful attitude! She said, IM THE SUPERVISOR WORKIN SELF CHECKOUT. NO. WE AINT GOT NOBODY. Really awful attitude. This place is a shiitake show, if you catch my drift. The workers are all nice, cashiers, stock. Management however. I can see why this place is so absolutely insane.
Horrible and rude!! I dont know his name but it was at 430pm on Sunday. It was a manager or supervisor , african American and bald head. I say that so he can be identified. Pure rude and no customer service. I made a purchase and asked for change and he said no were not giving change for no reason, sounds like more of a power trip than a policy . Weird way to treat a customer that is a regular at that
Tried to believe this location was more palatable than other ran down krogers and was proved WRONG officially. There is NO REDEMPTION for low grade customer service, long wait times, THROWING food as it passes on the conveyer, saying Im gonna need to see some ID INSTEAD of professionally and RESPECTFULLY ASKING makes it horrendous. Adding an extra layer to this unnecessary disrespect, management is going to let this foolishness ride... they dont need my money, and I dont need to waste more my of energy in this crater.
I go to the pharmacy here and it’s always a great experience. Prescriptions are always ready promptly even when I have to drop off a new script and see that I’m waiting on it they usually get it ready in ten minutes which is amazing becuase they are always busy. Got both of my Covid Pfizer shots here and they were done promptly no waiting at all. I’ve tried several pharmacies and this is the best one. Also , they accept good Rx which saves me 450 dollars.
The self checkout person named Sommer was arguing with a customer and being very loud about it. Then, when someone asked for help, she rolled her eyes, held up a single finger, let out a huge sigh, and then just walked past her. Didnt even look at her or say a thing. When I talked to the manager about it, she didnt seem to care at all. She just asked me if Sommer was rude to me at all. When I told her no, she gave me a confused look as if to ask why I was bothering to complain then.
This Kroger is my favorite grocery store that is even remotely close to me. I live in Dearborn Heights and work in Livonia, so other Kroger stores are actually closer to me, but this one is worth the extra few miles and time to drive there, for the shopping experience. I rarely have to deal with anything being completely out of stock. When it does happen and there is an employee on the floor near the department, theyve always went to the stock room to either look or grab the item! I love the customer service here more than anywhere else. The cashiers are personable and friendly. Also, of course, the prices, coupons and digital deals make going here a no-brainer.
I will never come back to Kroger I lost my phone there I ask them about it there was a lady worker next to the security Gaurd said she didn’t see anything but when I came back with a police officer all of a sudden she pulled my phone and said you guys looking for this after 2 to 3 hours looking for it I like to thank the officer he was very kind and helpful I wish I would have got his name so he can be recognised for his kindness thanks
Placed a pickup order, arrived and checked in at the start of my allotted time slot. After waiting at the store for almost an hour, they called to say my order wasnt going to be ready that day at all because the whole afternoon shift called off, why would they come to work when theyre getting paid to stay at home?. Way to throw your employees under the bus because management is terrible. Ive been loyal to Kroger for a long time, no more.
Pretty upset. The manager, Jason, was extremely nice when I talked to him about the issue, but I’m super disappointed that this happened in the first place.I put an order in with pickup. It was supposed to be ready at 7pm, but they called and said it was late and would be ready at 9pm. I went at 9pm and waited 30 min for them to say it wasn’t ready and would be ready in the morning. At this point I wasn’t upset yet.I called in the morning to confirm my order was ready. They said it was and to come pick it up. When I arrived, a customer service person said they were out of stock on all items, going to the extent of lying and saying they hadn’t received a grocery shipment in a very long time.I parked, went in and found all my items within 5 min (there were only 7). Why lie? No a, but I am upset and will probably never return to this location. Also escalating and calling customer service and corporate. This is ridiculous.
Heaven forbid a guy tries to walk through the sliding door with the sign above it labeled Bottle Recycling!?! Whatever old lady u got sitting outside that door at the hand sanitizer table is so quick to be rude about it. There were so many ways she couldve been polite about it, but NOPE, guess not! Ill take my grocery money AND my bottle returns elsewhere from now on. Bye 👋
Staff is always nice and helpful, and shelves always clean and neat. The only reason I cant give this store a 5 star is because corporate apparently wont allow them to put a leash on their customers! Customers are still grabbing, hoarding, ignoring social distancing, coming in early when its supposed to be the time for seniors and pushing them aside to get their carts filled so no one else gets anything. Managers are powerless to enforce anything. They need to limit what people can buy. Its been a month and I cannot even get a loaf of bread or some canned vegetables. I dont blame the employees, they work hard, god bless them. I blame corporate. When people come early and push the seniors out of the way to get in the store, the manager should have the right to close the doors on them or kick them OUT! Yet theyre not allowed. For whatever good it will do, Im going to write their headquarters.
Always love those points for cash off my gasoline! Some good bargains, but I hate that you have to buy anywhere from 3 to 5 each of some of the more popular items to get the best price. Thats just plain wrong and discriminatory to those most likely to need a discount, single folks, particularly elderly people who live alone.
I cant take stars away or I would! Cant describe how disappointed I am in the staff at this store! Went to cash a check and was shorted $100.00, when confronted they said they seen the cashier count out an amount that would have left them short, and me with more than I was supposed to get, but the drawer next to it that was short earlier (the manager was talking with an employee, he seemed confused as to how, but did nothing) was now over $5 and the drawer she cashed the check on was spot on. I have 6 kids and I HATE dishonesty. Would recommend Walmart over this store anyday!
Out of the four times Ive visited this week, I was greeted by 1 employee. There were aisles completely blocked by employees restocking at every visit...completely blocked. Self check cashiers never say a word, notthanks or have a good day. Its an unpleasant experience to buy groceries here.
This location has an issue with keeping whole milk in stock. That happens I understand, the real issue is when I got here today, and this isnt uncommon here, cart return is not being kept up with. They are crammed but literally lined half way into the lot so people cant drive down the parking isle with out getting out of there vehicle and shuffling the carts around. And not just to pass through the isle, alot of the parking spaces are also crammed full of carts because the cart returns are over flowing. I miss the old kroger across the street
Purchased 6 Kroger premade salads which were on sale 3 for $9 but one of the salads rung up higher than $3. When I went to customer service, regarding the price difference, the clerk/cashier stated, it wasnt included in the sale; although, she visually saw a bunch of those same salads where the sign indicated 3 for $9. Technically, I should have been refunded the excess plus 10% but because she stated, the barcode wasnt supposed to be included in the sale I was only refunded the excess....as if it was my fault someone had placed the incorrect salads in the sale area!
Every online order I literally get 1/2 of the items I purchase, almost always a few eggs broke, today I got a papayas instead of a mangoes..... For trying to social distance they make it extremely hard not to want to go in because I know half of these items are in stock. Today there “out” of green onions, shallots, grapes, bacon, shrimp, ribeye steak, zucchini, onion powder, chicken stock....... really is this even a grocery store at this point?
Very displeased with the check out person! She was very rude. Not only was she rude when I walked up, she also got very snarky about payment while I, the customer was bagging groceries (not my job). She said, and I quote, “you can leave your card in the machine”. I’m sorry, but I will not leave my credit card unattended while I perform her job. Her name was Gina, 9:20 am 4/1/2020.
Great store location. Prices affordable. Personal helpful at all times. The right products for all including pet products. The right amount of open store hours for the community. Always available store carts inside the store. Available - Handicap scotters that may be in need by shoppers.
So there used to be 2 Krogers within about 1/4 mile from here. Both were busy, but they were so close, Kroger decided they needed to close one. Unfortunately, it seems like they did nothing to accommodate the consolidation. This location has the same hours, same staff level, and same policies.. for almost double the customers. Basics are ALWAYS out of stock. This is doubly frustrating because they refuse to do any restocking during off hours....there are always lanes blocked, even on the busiest days. Attendants for the self scan are clueless, if they put in an appearance at all. I actually love Kroger....all my prescriptions are there, I get gas across the street, I shop here almost daily. Unless I move, however, I think Im done. This store is cramped, Ill managed, understaffed, and just generally a pain to navigate. It IS generally clean, as a rule, but thats not enough. Time to head to Meijer, where they actually give a damn.
Horrible visit...not enough baggers at this location. Ive bagged my groceries so often and so many times the cashier commented how fast I was. Also, only a few lanes were open to credit and debit cards, others were cash only so not only was it slow some folks were leaving without their groceries. The front of store, area with carts and recycling is very dirty.Could use a deep cleaning...and I believe this locations restrooms are the dirtiest, and nastiest in the entire state of Michigan.Employees not only have to wash their hands after using, theyll need to wash again after leaving.Management needs to seriously closing the store for a couple days and giving it a deep, deep cleaning.I for one will be doing my grocery shopping elsewhere. Today was final straw.By the way the employees themselves are very kind and patient and do a wonderful job. This is a management issue.
One of the best stores in the area, with professional staff and services. The isles are always clean and filled with the merchandise that one is searching for.Since its expansion in 2015, there are many other articles one might need, and there are always improvements on the floor.Since the beggining of 2018, there are two self check-outs, which are also an improvement when the store is stuffed with people.
I am shopping at Kroger on Michigan avenue in Dearborn and wanted to mention a great experience. I encounter many not so nice people but this day started differently thanks to Lee. After I asked about sugar pie pumpkins, she went out of her way and hand delivered the pumpkins to me.Thanks Lee, I wish more people would make such a nice and kind effort!
Well I couldnt find the digital coupon on my phone while in the store, and my home site krogers wouldnt work. So I wish you would just put them on our card instead of going through the Hassel;; and same with all the sale items we get anyway just with our card , I thought that was a good idea, I dont use my Kroger app that much, I get the ads in the mail and use them and my card.
The worst staff ever . I have called this location to make sure they had an item , which after driving there didn’t have it . I asked the lady at the customer service to help me , she said that her shift is over, and was unpleasant and unprofessional. Then I walked up to another lady employee by the cashier, and asked Her about the price of an item , because there is no tag on it , she just took it to the ‘find the price ‘scanner and it wasn’t working . So she just left me standing there. I can’t believe these people get paid for the horrible service they provide . It is the closest location to my house, but I won’t go there ever.
This Kroger has a serious problem keeping some basic fresh produce stocked. They rarely have fresh cilantro. Three weeks ago I went in looking for cabbage and they had none. Cabbage! Yesterday I went in, no cabbage and no yellow onions! SERIOUSLY? Guess Ill take my business to Meijer, they dont seem to have trouble stocking these things!
Friendly staff (usually), broad selection of products and services (as well as an uncharacteristically wide range of non food items like dishes, cookware, personal grooming, and alcohol in the renovated center and edge aisles), and added self service terminals and the bank, too.The late hours are convenient, though Id never give this kroger a 5/5 after their reduction from 24 hours to only 19. Id recumbent visiting before 9 if youre in a hurry, as around 9 the close all but 1 manned checkout aisle and half the self service kiosks, and after around 11 the last manned checkout aisle gets closed, too. If in a hurry, go to the Farmer Jack Kroger on the north side of Michigan Avenue instead, as they have nearly the same selection of food, drinks, and beer/wine, in addition to exclusively having liquor and less traffic.
It’s rare to find fresh produce that isn’t already spoiled or has mold on it at this Kroger. If you shop here, beware of expiration dates. My family has used Click-List from this location and they give you beat up cans, molding produce, expired milk and eggs. The meat we received expired the following day after pickup and had already spoiled. The frozen food was mostly thawed. Our ice cream was melted (it was in the 30s when we picked it up so it wasn’t from the 5 minute drive home.)It’s low staffed and the cashiers seem to be put off if you don’t bag your own groceries quick enough.Click-list takes about 20-30 minutes on average for wait times. Then, the substitutions are completely incorrect. The prices are not far off from the local grocery store down the street (Westborn). Wont be going back.
The Store in Westborn mall was grossly under stocked for the day before a holidays mad rush. Moving from aisle to aisle was an even bigger challenge than CHECKING out. Staff was helpful when asked about supplies, but, could not provide a satisfactory resolution. Not sure about shopping there again.
Very clean and organized.no long lines at self check out.the employees in the meat department are always friendly and willing to help.unfortunately it’s not the same with the rest of the employees.this is the main reason why I am giving 3 stars.one of the girls at guest services needs to put a smile on her face when dealing with customers as I’ve been there quite a lot and she has never smiled or gave a welcoming hello.i was also embarrassed by one of there cashiers Ashley when I tried explaining to her that guest services advised me to show her the weekly ad if my items did not ring up that particular price.she literally laughed at me when I said this and I felt very very offended by this.i have never encountered an employee that laughs at a customer to their face.i asked her what was so funny and she ignored me and then continued ringing me up.sometimes employees need to understand that a customer shouldn’t have to feel bad or embarrassed to ask a simple question.i hope Kroger can resolve these issues with customer care and service.
I love everything about this Krogers. It is always very clean, very friendly and for the most part they have everything that I need. Now they do not carry cinnamon bagels without raisins... I have to go to Walmart or Target for that and that to me is a huge bummer lol. But still, I love this place!
I found an expired bag of yogurt covered raisins on the shelf. They expired April 2017. Rather than leave them on the shelf for someone else to purchase, I decided to give them to the manager and worker who were standing in the aisle having a personal conversation about groceries. I had to say excuse me three times for them to stop their conversation and acknowledge me. They both seemed irritated that I interrupted them. Neither greeted me and neither smiled. I just said these are expired and gave them the bag. They did not say thank you or apologize for having expired product on the shelf. I left very surprised at the lack of concern and poor customer service.
The self checkouts were all closed, there were 2 boys talking about the machines taking over in weird voices as the hulk bashed and banged on the key making kiosk because his key got stuck and the manager never came to help him. Rumor says you can still hear him banging on the machine if you listen close enough...
Kroger app says store is open until 1am like it always has been open. Go to store at 1230 am and the sign says they closed at 12. Next time I go out of my way to get there at 1150 and the door is locked. Tried the other door and its locked too with other customers trying to get in. Finally they open door 5 minutes later to let somebody out and worker tells us sorry, but we closed at 12. But let us in when I pointed out that it was only 1155. I was in and out by 1203 with my $5 item, but Im sure I would have bought more if I wasnt being rushed out by annoying announcement that store is closed and will re-open at 6am. Store should be open later, not earlier.
Great store to grocery shop at, outstanding manager and associates. Friendly service and from my experience, all the associates have always been very helpful when asked anything. Only reason I didnt give it five stars is because like most, if not all other stores sale items are not always available. Just a sign of the times I suppose.
Where do I start... When I did go here I do not feel welcome at all! When I got to check out. They took 102 extra off my card. Then not only I didnt get my money back. They had the nerve to tell me I was scamming them! Never apologize or anything. So be aware when you go here.
Okay. Was was a disgusting afternoon trying to shop missed half of the things that I went for because I could not find them this is been going on too long 3 weeks ago I shopped her two and a half weeks ago and I put up with this and its just as bad if not worse all of the people I encountered in the store were also complaining Ill have to find another store to shop at until you decide that you can make the store presentable enough for the patrons to have a pleasant shopping experience the end
Always nice and convenient, only reason rsting low is because when i went to fill a prescription of antibiotics they tried to tell me $20.Took my prescription back went to Walgreens only paid my usually $2 Co-pay.Store is clean, but prices tend to be higher than other Krogers even.So i do most my shopping else where, unless need something quick, then yes i come to this location. Again go to other Krogers and their prices are lower??
I usually got to the Krogers in taylor but had to stop at this one it was on my way home... I walked it , within the first 2 minutes I was amazed how different it was from the one in taylor.. lets start with the shelves well stocked and beautiful and this place has way more stuff than the one in taylor.. all I can day it is that every Kroger should be like this one.
Stopped stocking certain lactose free ice cream. When i talked to a manager, he said he would find out why. Its been 5 weeks and they still havent stocked the ice cream. seem to be waiting a lot to ask someone about an item or waiting for management to look into a request. Im changing my grocery store!
I love Krogers I just wish their prices would be more comparable to Aldis or come down a little bit but its a great grocery store they have everything this particular location is better than Greenfield they cater to the Arabic people too much what about everybody else I know they spend you cant forget about the others just because of money.
Im glad you asked me to rate. Sorry, trashy outside, and inside. All produce was rotten, and nothing in shelves, old produce. Shelves were empty, everything was all over the place. Sale items empty, no prices on 50% off items. Im going to Alis. Im disgusted with Kroger
First of all, lets be clear: this is the Kroger located on the corner of Outer Drive and Michigan Avenue attached to the Marshalls on the opposite end of the plaza. I see pictures of other Krogers with negative reviews and thats not fair. Secondly, I love supporting local businesses and especially businesses that are providing a service that we take for granted in 2018 LIKE BRINGING US GROCERIES OF ALL KINDS, ALL YEAR ROUND! Just 70 years ago, seeing a pineapple in the middle of winter in a midwest grocery store would have been seen as witchcraft! Thirdly, this Kroger is by far the cleanest, most kindly staffed, and most tech savvy Kroger in my area of Dearborn. Even if Im near another Kroger, Ill go out of my way to come here. And with the new clicklist and scan and go technology, I can quickly shop by myself or with my two young boys without hassle or stress. I rarely write reviews but my shipping experience today with Scan and Go just made me smile after the usually grinding chore of grocery shopping. AMAZON GO CAN SUCK IT! Lets support technology that still allows for humans to have and hold jobs they love.
This is one of three Krogers located in Dearborn. In fact, there is another Kroger on the north side of Michigan Ave. directly across the street. Why? Well, that location (Kroger North) used to be a Farmer Jack. After the merger between Kroger and Farmer Jack in 2007, Farmer Jack stores that were to remain open were rebranded as Kroger stores. Apparently, its profitable to have two Kroger stores directly across from one another. This location is always clean and usually well stocked. As with any grocery store, steer clear on Sundays or right before holidays if you want a quick shopping trip.
Just remodeled the store and replaced a large health food section with alcohol...when several employees were asked about standard plant based foods, and the section in general, and I was told it is all scattered around the store now. I ended up leaving to go to another retailer.

2022-06-21Workers have bad attitudes when approached with the utmost respect. Only good thing is the Sushi place. Lines are super long…even self check out is ridiculous. They close off the other half of self check out when the line is as long as the entire grocery isle. See pics.

2022-05-04I dread every time I have to come here. I rarely am able to get everything on my list because shelves are not kept stocked or they simply don’t have the selection I’m looking for. Once I finish shopping and before I head out to the next grocery store to finish all the things that I couldn’t buy I generally have to wait in line an exorbitant amount of time. The bottle return is rarely open although it has been the last two times I’ve gone. But I attribute this to sheer luck. The store is five minutes from my house and the location is the most convenient it would be much better if it moved across the street took a larger building, sufficiently stocked it, and hired the correct amount of employees to serve the client base.

2022-06-16On June 5th 2022, I went to this Kroger location (697) to pick up flowers for my wife on the eve of our wedding anniversary. It was past 9 pm so the flower section counter had closed already. I couldnt decided on any of the readymade bouquet options so I picked up roses and baby breath and was planning to somehow put them together myself in the car before heading home and giving them to my wife.As i was about to checkout I asked the store manager Cheryl if the flower section counter had closed; She told me it was closed but yet offered to help if i needed it. It was the best possible help i could have hoped for and i was so relieved to hear that! She did an Excellent job with putting together the flowers i had picked into a beautiful bouquet. She actually went above and beyond when she found out that it was for our tenth wedding anniversary and did something extra special ! I was overjoyed and was very grateful for her willingness to go out of her way to help me when i really needed it! And My wife LOVED it! :)I have been sharing this positive experience with our family and friends and Cheryls attitude of personalized attention and customer care is what sets apart the store. I will definitely be recommending everyone to go this Kroger location!Thank you Chery! You are awesome and i wish you all the success you very well deserve!

2022-04-04Water filling station and recycling center are always closed down. The checkout lines are ridiculously long, even though they have replaced most all of them with self-checkout. They dont even schedule enough people to cover all of the self-checkout, so theres only ever a couple of lanes open. The workers that are there are usually always friendly and helpful. I cant blame them for the situation.

2022-05-14Some of the employees that work here are from the Krogers that used to be across the street. They have years of experience working for Krogers. Anyone who has ever worked in a store knows what its like when they are short staffed and overworked. When shelves are empty or I have to wait in a long line I dont take my frustrations out on the staff. I know they want their customers to spend money in their stores. They want the store fully stocked and plenty of experienced staff to help run the store. I try and remember as a hiring manager how hard it was to get good people. Good workers that stayed longer than hand 6 months. The people that are working are probably working long hours without many days off. I get frustrated about the empty shelves, long lines and high prices. One thing I dont do is blame the store or the workers. There are so many things that go into running a business. Most people dont realize that if gas prices are high and there are no drivers or a plant has shutdown then there are no deliveries to stores. Some things can be controlled and some things cant. I understand if customer service is a problem but that is something we have all experienced. All this other stuff is a somewhat newer set of problems. If you have all the answers you fix it. Better yet pull a couple of shifts at the store you might have a different view of things. When I go to this store I always say thank you I appreciate you to whoever helps me. Because I do appreciate everything they do.

2022-06-08Human run cashiers are needed. My latest trip had zero. SeverAl shelves were bare and the flowers i purchased at regular price were old and damaged but it’s all they had. Kroger is a big corp that can put pressure on politicians to stop the madness and keep our shelves stocked an prices reasonable. Won’t be back till there is change

2022-04-11Avoid avoid avoid. I’ve never seen a Kroger store more under staffed and over worked than this. Wait times in check lanes are longer than I thought possible

2022-04-28Understaffed and understocked usually. The one on Ecorse & Monroe is doing better. My question as far as registers go is: if you have 5 cashiers + one self-checkout open, lines stretching to the back of the store, why not open the other self-checkout?? Thats an additional 6 registers to help people out.(On this visit, I saw a manager ringing with no light on and an elderly woman with an armful of items tried join his line. The manager quickly said Im not open!. What gives??)
