I enjoyed going to this Kroger- the staff is nice, its clean and organized, and the food is delicious! They have cashiers or do it yourself stations for checkout too. I also tried some fresh sushi samples here today, which were Regular Crunch Rolls and Spicy Crunch Rolls, and ended up buying some of the spicy ones for lunch today. I definitely enjoyed the Spicy Crunch Rolls and recommend it if youre a sushi person like myself absolutely!!!! 💯🍣😉👍🏻
The worst staffed Kroger in Michigan. I have never seen more than two cashiers working and that is on a good day. It’s always only one cashier typically. Also, about six months ago, I was shopping with my two kids when I noticed a man walking down the aisles (with no cart or basket) with his hand down the front of his pants. I’ve seen this guy hanging around in front of the store before and I suspect he is homeless and/or mentally ill. My point: Where the f. is your security?? That guy isn’t there to shop. He is there to harass customers, ask for money, etc. Why is no one watching on the cameras above?? Makes me feel unsafe. .
BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! Do not go here if you have questions, location or NEED ANY kind of help FINDING OR ASSISTANCE of any kind they will not help the customers; why well I have meant rude people before, but these WORKERS AND MANAGERS TOP The score as the highest. They are so RUDE !! Will have an attitude with you AND WILL LIE!! To you just so they can do a little less work. Especially this female supervisor she is terrible. There used to be some very good people there but now it seems they just hire some heartless people that are full of regret and hateful negative energy. Do NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT NEGATIVE ENERGY BACK.
Its most likely because I go shopping here close to the closing time, but the check out process if very stressful and crowded, social distancing goes out the window, and the tension is palpable. Last time me and my husband were in the check out line it was well into 30 people in front of us, then there was a very loud customer swearing at the employees, besides that the store is always well stocked, the employees are helpful and nice, the food is fresh and everything seems well maintained and clean, except they could keep the disinfectant wipes for the carts stocked a little more, as well has hand disinfectant. So be prepared to bring your own hand sanitizer with you into the store.
So severely understaffed. It really makes me question how poorly corporate and management must treat and compensate their workers if they cant keep anybody like this. No beef stocked at 10:30 and the only attendant on the floor was a lady who would only say NO SALMON and walk away when anybody approached lol. The guys behind the meat counter were very helpful once I could find someone. Still waiting in the one open checkout at 11 so keep me in your thoughts
Employee team members are always so polite, & helpful, & understanding. The store is clean, & everything is in its place. The produce is fresh, & theres always a smiling face at the deli counter. There are other Kroger stores closer to where I live. But, I drive the extra mile for the reasons Ive listed. Keep up the GREAT WORK Greenfield Kroger!! Some of do acknowledge, & appreciate you. 💙
On 07/25/21 I made a purchase at this location, after realizing that I overpaid on some items. I decided to return while I was in the store. At 9:30 in the morning the customer service desk was closed. What kind of major supermarket has the customer service area closed during the day? Just to make sure, I asked one of the representatives and they said nobody will be attending the customer service dept. that day.A few days later I went back to the same location and nobody was at the customer service desk again. This time they said if I want to wait maybe someone will show up later.Finally, I called Kroger corporate and explained the situation in detail and they understood my situation. I am guessing this is because many people are experiencing similar issues. They said the solution for me was to go back the the store and keep trying to catch the customer service representative.I am absolutely disappointed in Kroger, a place that I visit frequently and get most of my groceries. One thing is for sure, I won’t be going there anymore. Thankfully I live near many large supermarkets that can treat me with respect knowing that my business is what keeps them operating.
The store is clean and more often than not I can usually find the majority of my produce and grocerys here. they have a nice layout and the workers that place produce and other snack on the self are respectful and the store is simple to navigate through, they also have a nice selection of seasonal assortments that come throughout the months. BUT the thing that kind of ruins anyone grocery shopping is when a cashier (for me the cashier was Latashia) just tosses our grocery inside the Kroger bag and I get it it was nearing 6 oclock pm but my produce have nothing to do with it and no excuse that was very disrespectful. At the very least she could have double bagged half of my two liters and should Yoplait yogurt be thrown upside down into the bag, she asked if I could just put in two grocery into other stuffed bags but sounded like simple laziness. Then as we check out we received a ripped dollar that she handed to us and refused to exchange it I had also spent near in hundred dollars in grocery too. I hope to continue shopping here and have the problem resolved
Always a bad experience at this location. The manger is not doing his/her job and this evident by how rude and lazy the staff is. 0 customer service skills. I understand it’s difficult finding workers but re-train your current ones because they don’t do their job properly and are flat out lazy. I would rather drive 10-15 extra minutes to avoid going to this location. It wasn’t this bad a few years ago and is only getting worse!
Seen a black rat walking in one of the aisles where the fruit snacks are was going to grab some but couldn’t due to what I seen. Very disturbing and disgusting to see while shopping and feel unsafe especially when I never have seen this happen before. Shows how disgusting this location really is if there’s one why not there be more. PEOPLE I CANT BEG U ENOUGH DON’T GO HERE GO TO ANY OTHER LOCATION. STAY SAFE AND DON’T if there’s that idk what there is.
There stock is low in all dairy products as well as meat very low selections of beef ,steaks if any..no one is around to ask for assistance to find out if they have a fresh shipment in their fridge of beef, poultry. Very sad of quality customer service as well as products..need to make it right for us!!
Money services hours are advertised as regular store hours. Someone over the phone told me they possibly accepted passports I travel to the location to find that they need a State ID to swipe which wasnt explained over the phone. The woman working the services counter has a nasty attitude. Spend your time and money elsewhere.
Worst experience at any Kroger ever...once I got away from the mice running around the supplies which was sitting in the way to most of the food on the shelf, and listened to the overhead speaker ever 15 seconds telling them to a swer the call on so many different lines for customer service, it looked like a person walked through a rained out campfire at the front checkouts. And then the lady tried to tell me to get in back of the line up the aisle when the other 3 people told her I was there before they were. As a stock holder I see why it is not going any higher. I hope managmenet listens to its experienced customers...so many people I have talked to have many unpleasant experience with this place as well...KROGER get this place in shape or shut it down!!!
Worst Kroger’s ever. I try to avoid shopping here. The manger is obviously not doing his job because the staff is just extremely rude to customers. Probably the laziest staff I seen with zero customer skills. I had to call the manager a few times but this big dummy is nothing more then waste of space. Fire the manager change this whole crew. I go to the self check out to avoid any interaction with the rude staff only to discover the person at self checkout is rude and unprofessional.
Worst location and store to order grocery pick up from. They won’t even try to substitute, so you end up with less than half of your groceries, EVERY SINGLE TIME. I’ve physically tested this out by getting my pickup and actually going in to see there are multiple ways all items could have been substituted. Other grocery pick up stores, such as Walmart will always properly substitute. I will not order from here again. It’s actually an inconvenience.
Well sitting here at Kroger Dearborn Michigan Ave. And Greenfield we have 3 self checkout people just talking and laughing then we have a real worker that has to scan and bag everything I want to thank the cashier for trying to do her job while having to watch her coworkers having a great time while she has to do to jobs. The managers here are a joke letting this happen i guess it more important for 3 of them managers to be outside than inside helping out
I am truly disgusted by your customer service and how in EAST Dearborn, you DO NOT HAVE enough registers open citing workers shortage, but walking to WEST Dearborn Kroger, I can get out with in minutes!Also, the cleanness of your store is terrible. PLEASE PAY Attention to this store!!
The worst customer service ever I hate shopping there I only stopped there because it was convenient I stopped in this morning because I was right in the area but normally I shop at Taylor Krogers but I live by Dearborn Kroger.Everytime I shop at this store things are always out of stock self lottery is always out of order and so is the S.O.S self kiosk but this is why I’m writing this review I went in there and I saw Microban on the shelf for $5.79 I purchased 4 cans I noticed when I got to the car it rung up $6.99 so I went back to get refunded the difference she went to the shelf and looked and she said it was for Lysol they didn’t have any so they put Microban in the spot but she can’t give me the difference I can return them or keep them I feel like they should’ve gave me the price on the shelf so just the thought of her saying that I returned all of them. Any other store would’ve probably gave me the difference instead of telling me I can return them I will continue to shop at Taylor Kroger great customer service and management.
I would give them a 0 if I had the option. Unfortunately I have to come here for the convenience. Worse staff ever. I have been in here at least 60 times, if not more, and I have never had a pleasant experience. Every person from cashier to stock to manager to constumer service is rude. Its like they all have something stuck up their butts. If I sat here and listed the attitude and things said I would have to write a book. I would be here for at least 2 hours (Im not exaggerating). Ive been to dozens of locations and I have never had this experience.
I have shopped at many different Kroger stores and this one is by far the worst. Customer service doesn’t exist here. Employees act like you’re bothering them if you ask for help. Tried to return bottles, every machine was turned off. I asked one of the cashiers if she could call someone to help. She said only one person can do it and he’s busy doing something else. When I asked her if that was good customer service, she told me I was welcome to go someplace else. I said really that’s your answer? I should go someplace else? She said yes. Go someplace else. The store is a toilet. Avoid it.
I called this store (twice) to find out what the hours the recycle area for cans and bottles are open. I waited 4 minutes before my calls were picked up and placed on hold without having an associate say anything. I hung up - both times - after waiting 5 minutes for someone to come back to take my calls.
I really like this store, if I need assistance with locating something, and the associate, is not from that department, they will always be willing to call someone from the department that you are in to help you, you cannot ask for better service. The associates, are always willing to help you. This truthfully is one of the better, kroger, stores to shop at.
Walked in after returning bottles manager told me to remove trash from basket which is fine. But when I walked in and said “good afternoon” she ignored me I said it again she greeted me back the same with a high pitched attitude like voice. No longer going there I didn’t feel disrespected but felt it was rude of her to not greet me back when I didn’t give her no inch of attitude or disrespect.
Im not a theft! Two employees (one in customer service and a bagger/cashier) accused me of stealing a pack of paper towels, an item that I paid for. This incident occurred on 08/16/20 between 9:15pm - 9:30pm.I went to my car and I noticed that the paper towels wasnt in my shopping cart. I went back in Kroger to look for it by asking the cashier. He nor his co worker knew what I was talking about but they SAW ME PAY FOR IT!I asked if I could grab another pack. I had my receipt so I grabbed a pack of paper towels. I saw the woman who had an attitude with me during my checkout talking to a customer service clerk about me. They flat out accused me of stealing! I told them to check the security cameras but they didnt want to (I paid cash for my items).The woman in customer service and the cashier were wrong for their attitude and dislike towards me.Ive been a customer at this location for years and I have never experienced being called a theft before nor anything harsh! I will talk to the manager about this and I will never deal with this place again! You cant accuse me of stealing when you saw me pay for it.
I shop at the Eastborn Kroger location every day in hopes of finding a wife, although I find myself leaving the grocery store the same manner I came in, empty handed. As I scout the perimeter and make my way through the isles, I find that I do not attract the attention I deserve. As such, I end my venture by purchasing a drink and some peanut butter. I DO NOT recommend this Kroger location, and will begin searching at Target. Kroger is cancelled!!!!
Bottle return attendant was extremely rude and was doing nothing but bopping around listening to music(loudly) using profanity. Upon my arrival I was told I had too many bottles. Without counting or examining my 2 bags of 2!liter bottles that totaled up to $7.40... not $25 which was the limit stated everywhere. I will most definitely be shopping anywhere but Kroger! I have also posted the video of this buffoon they have attending their bottle area. Kroger has really fell off in terms of customer service.
Had a horrible experience today when I went to pick up a preordered fruit tray. The bakery staff was very unprofessional. And made it seem like I was responsible for them almost screwing up the order. One staff member in particular kept calling me sweetie. And got offended when I asked her to stop. Respect doesnt seem to be on the menu at this establishment.
Prior in person experiences at this store have been positive, but I do not recommend attempting to place an online pickup order from this location. Over 50 % of my order was missing despite being scanned and charged on my receipt. Returned to the store hoping for resolution but staff was very uninformed, not helpful, and recommended coming back to shop in person during morning senior hours to avoid crowds.
I do like shopping here because it’s organized and I can find what I need quickly. I also like that it isn’t always busy and I can check out rather quickly. The prices are a bit more than other grocery stores. With coupons and their sales, you won’t really see a major difference. Prices are usually the same as other places, with a few items being a dollar or more here and there. It’s nothing major and I say it’s worth it when wanting a simple shopping experience.
My pickup order was supposed to be ready Friday between 8 and 9 am. Got a call that morning telling me to ignore all automatically generated messages because my order will be delayed and I would be contacted by a phonecall when to come for my pickup. After not receiving the promised call. I called the store the next day around noon. After 20 minutes on hold I was told that my order was ready. (Good thing I hadnt ordered ice cream or meat!) Now I have been waiting in line for an hour and have seen them load 3 cars with there orders. My advice would be if you want pickup service try another Kroger locationUpdate. I waited a little more than 2 hours and watched them fill 9 orders in front of me during that time. Plus I got about half of what I ordered.None of the Kroger associates that I observed were wearing masks required by law during this Covid crisis.
After about an hour of trying to find everything I needed I got up to the check out lines and they only had three lines open, the weekend before Christmas and they only had three cashiers... sure they had self checkouts but 1thats not my job and 2. I had a full basket thats way to many items for self checkout. Ended up leaving the cart and walking out. Will never be back.
Womens restroom was unacceptable. No woman wants to wipe, using toilet paper that is sitting on the back of the toilet base or the sanitary wipe disposal container, or the floor for that manner. All 3 stalls had toilet paper just sitting out and none in the dispensers (including the handicapped stall.) I went in the restroom at the beginning of my shopping trip, (and there were 2 employees in there at that time.) I then returned there on my way out (maybe 1 1/2 hours later), and it was still the same.
Poor Customer Service. I went to collect money sent through Western Union. The lady helping me asked me for my SSN and job. I asked her why and she became aggressive and gave off a negative vibe. I do not understand why as this was a reasonable question when being asked personal information. I am disappointed that a simple clarification question was received in such a negative way. I have collected larger amounts of money and sent larger amounts (at this location too) and have never been asked these questions. I was trying to be vigilant about my personal sensitive information and I was treated with disdain.
Newly remodeled up they move the service desk to far away from the door so you have to maneuver through the customers to get to the desk and maneuver through the customers to get out of the store if you want I want to go to the service desk also theres always one person at the service desk in which nearest always a line on a busy friday.Customer service sucksBut I do like that they remodeled the store very nice and clean
Usually well stocked with good variety. Good produce and baked goods. Store experience is highly variable. Sometimes there are enough check outs open, other times it is ridiculously understaffed. When lines get long, to the point of blocking movement around the isles, management does nothing to help. Ive been in there, especially around closing time, when it feels like a riot is about to break out. If there is not enough staff, I expect to see managers helping with checkout, not just looking helpless. I do small shopping trips here because it is closest to my house, but there are better run Krogers a few miles west on Michigan Ave. Really stay away from this location the night before a big holiday.
I love this kroger because its the only kroger store close to me and this kroger store is always fully stocked, they have everything because its a superstore, its clean and the people that work there is always polite and helpful you dont have to go looking for anyone to help you someone is always close by my fav Kroger Store I will go some miles to shop at kroger.
No buggies were available upon entering the store, u had to go back out and hunt down a buggy to shop. Once inside AGAIN, there was no produce to pick from ... no grapes, the few bananas there looked horrible and the meat in the sale case should have been tossed not reduced for quick sale! The two stars was for the very pleasant cashier who rang us up, despite being cold and having to ring and bag up groceries - she was efficient and just an absolute joy to encounter!
I waited 50 mins for my outside pick up when I had checked online that it was ready 3 customers pulled up while I was there and got their stuff and I was still waiting i called them 3 time while waiting and each time they lied and said were coming out with it, when the last time I called one of the employees says something smart and hangs up the phone on me, then they canceled my order and wouldnt give it to me. Very unprofessional. Kroger needs to hire a new staff. They wouldnt give out names.
This is my regular Kroger. Ive never found anything to be out of stock, and the staff are friendly and talkative. My only complaint would be that they should be retrieving carts from the parking lot more often. I often go in, only to have to turn around and get my own cart from the corrals in the lot.
Not a very friendly place. Everything else here is typical Kroger - decent prices, good produce, plenty of organic options - but the employees are always having their own conversations about anything and everything while you stand there waiting to check-out. Put simply, they act as if youre inconveniencing them when all you really want to do is pay for your stuff and leave.
Why even bother having produce for sale if the majority of it is old, bruised, and/or rotting?! The positive reviews are clearly from people who clearly are used to accepting VERY LOW QUALITY products and services.Customer service is a complete waste of time. The parking lot is a ghetto, pot hole filled death zone. The store constantly has random bad smells, throughout random areas. When you find shopping carts theyre are ghetto & as clean as the parking lot.This is one of the worst Krogers Ive been to in the state of Michigan, which is hard to accomplish.
The selection is varied, the seafood counter always has fresh options. The last time I actually shopped here however was a day that a winter storm warning was given and the store was very busy. A man and his two teenage sons jumped in front of the line that went some 15 people deep with the supervisor at the head of the line doing nothing about it. I had to speak out and make them aware and made sure they acknowledged what they were doing but they turned their backs in order to feign ignorance and continued to jumped ahead of all of those waiting in line. Again, the supervisor who was RIGHT THERE & watching did absolutely nothing.... with a smile on her face.
The return bottle a mess all machines were down had to wait about 30 minutes to do my bottle waiting on machine to be fix. The store otherwise was great lot of specials wide aisles checkout was good cashier great bagger was good was able to get all I wanted but got home to fined my English muffins were missing I should check back with the store
Ridiculous lines , it’s a Sunday and only two registers are open! You have at least 10-12 people waiting to get cashed out and the manager is just walking around . Hire some more people or get your managers and assistant managers on a register! I shouldn’t be in line longer than 25 minutes!
I will never shop at this place again ! The people that work there are beyond rude.They completely messed up my order charged my credit card triple horrible customer service supervisor not available and assistant supervisor had no idea how to help me kept transferring me around and hanging up the phone !
As a visitor of the Detroit area, this was the closest Kroger to my hotel. I came in around 6pm, which is prime dinner time. Absolutely NO chicken of any kind was available. I went to the deli only to see them already packaging it for cold packaging for the next day. I asked if I could have an 8 piece and was told that I couldnt. So I went to go grab something else only to find that their pre-packaged foods/meals were very picked over and had nothing good for a diner option. So I just grabbed some soda and snacks and checked out. I went to Meijer and was able to get my hot chicken and other deli items. Typical Kroger store....
Worst Kroger ever, I called them and asked if their recycling center was open and they that lady told me yeah and shut the phone in my face. I got there and the room was closed, horrible workers and nothing is ever in place. Go to the next Kroger near you because this one really sucks
Currently undergoing a renovation, so hopefully things will improve, but even on multiple prior visits, the store and parking lot have been very dirty. Litter is everywhere. Still, the store is good for a quick visit and the staff is friendly. FYI, they sell beer and wine, but no liquor.
Happy and thankfull that the employees are here working during this pandemic in Michigan, however Im very disappointed in the lack of respect the customers have for one another during the pandemic. On 4/23/20 There was little to none social distancing being practice. To many people inside the building at one time, although there were more masks being worn than not. No one was giving each other the respectful 6 feet. We have to do better for a speedy recovery of this pandemic.
Workers hate their life working at Kroger and definitely show it. Disrespectful and rude. Try smiling every once in a while. Shelves were empty all throughout the store when I went in and items are 3x the price then at meijer or Walmart. Never returning. Horrible customer service.
There are good and bad aspects to any business. This location is no different. Sometimes I go there and have a stellar experience, while other times, I leave there mad as hell LolIt is what it is. What I can say though is ....there are stores that I avoid like the plague, this is not one of them. I called this morning to make a request of the meat dept and even though I could tell that he didnt want to...the butcher promised to accommodate me anyway...plus he was nice about it. So , u take the bitter with the sweet. Plus, you cannot beat the sales most time, can really save some money!!! My last trip, I saved $26.00. Love it!!!!!!!!!!
I want to give a big thanks to Heba in the flower section. She makes the best bouquets for special occasions. I love buying flowers from Kroger but Heba makes them 100 times better with her wrapping skills, beautiful designs, and amazing attitude and heart. Thank you once again, you’re the best!
You have so many rude people working for your store and some others are so racist, last night i went shopping to your store the price and everything are great is just the people that work there they are useless and helpless cant ask no one for asistance because the few people that are at the store before closing would not even try to help us to find some products and in the self cash out this black woman would be super rude and would not stop staring at me acting like if i would still something honestly many people should be fired and train in profecion before been hired, i will never again return to this kroger first and last. I never got treated with so much disrespect i felt like i was not welcome at all.
This is the worst location in the USA! Staff dont come to work 1 cashier because management sucks! They had all customers outside both doors in a line between nobody came to work. Upper management did not get on register to cash us out. I am not an employee of this store to do self checkout!
One of the worst stores of Kroger in the area they dont know how to treat the customers. In the bottles return and the customer service on the phone are more worst she hangout the phone on me just for a little complain i made. this is my second time i been there and last one that place is garbage .
Usually things are fine and I have no interaction with the staff at all. And Im here all the time. I dont care. But today the guy at the meat counter made fun of me for coughing and patronized me by asking if I had his job if it would be sanitary for him to cough into his hand or into his arm, then asked again if he should cough on my food. I was speechless. I will be calling his manager tomorrow too.
When I go shopping it takes hours because I have my wheelchair bound mom with me and she wants t look at everything!LOL. But they have very good produce and meat there. They have decent seafood too. It is clean and fresh in the store. They have plenty of employees on the floor to help you find whatever you need. When you shop before 6 usually, you can even find a butcher to cut your meat up for you so that you can buy a large piece and have it cut into individual servings. Which is a plus for me. I like to bulk its cheaper and you dont have to go shopping every week. I would give this location a 10 star review.
The employees at this store are so lazy. I called to check if they had any Prosobee baby formula in stock. The lady over the phone told me that if it isn’t any on the shelf, that they didn’t have any. I asked to speak to a manager because if I’m calling you on the phone, I’m obviously not in the store to see what’s on the shelf. She told me that the manager wouldn’t be able to tell me either. I asked her, “So, you guys can’t check for me before I leave the house?” Then she proceeded to send someone to check. Smh
This is by far one of the worst grocery stores in the world. The produce section is unsanitary and you would be better off harvesting fruit and vegetables from a pig pen than this place. The registers never work and the employees are more useless than Stevie wonders eyes. This place smells like a garbage mans cologne and has floors that are stickier than a college bars floor. Go somewhere else and save yourself the punishment of going here.
I was in self check out and the employee running the self checkout was insanely rude. She was treating me like Ive never used the self checkout before. I asked her to delete something that I accidentally scanned twice and she rolled her eyes at me and did it without even looking at me or using any words. I asked her if I could put my glass jars into the cart before paying because they were going to fall off the edge of the place the bags are and she tells me thats not how it works and right after that my jar was falling before I caught it. She even points at someone else and tells me, see, she knows what to do. Excuse you? Absolutely horrible customer service with employees that lack basic manners. Ill take my money elsewhere.
Worst kroger ever. I waited in line at the customer service counter for 35 minutes for the young lady to do a price adjustment on someones pasta sauce (which would take a knowledgeable employee about 2 minutes) just to be told that i cant get formula that ive been told is kept behind the customer service counter several times from there so when i politely asked if she could get it for me and ring up my items i was told that she cant ring me up there which is a lie because ive been rang up at customer service several times i always have issues with this kroger i dont understand why they employ people who dont want to work and just want the money handed to them i would give zero stars if it were an option
This kroger has the absolute worst employees I have seen in any company. They are extremely rude and do t seem to care because they know they will get away with it. I had an argument with two of them and called corporate and a manager contacted me and apologized and gave me a 20 dollar gift card. A week later I find myself with the cashier and nothing changed. The west Dearborn location has better customer service.
Not the nicest Kroger. Carts are always a mess and all over the parking lot. Looked like someone toilet papered the bathroom. Staff is unprofessional, typically I wont comment on staff bc they are at worst invisible at best helpful, but Ive noticed too many things to notice how strange it is here... People yelling, side conversations happening way too loud, managers yelling... what? If possible drive a bit further to the other Kroger on Mich Ave.
I try not to shop here. The produce and organic foods are plentiful with a diversity of choices....but, if I have to wade through strewn, wind-blown garbage after exiting my vehicle, AND select from nasty shopping carts, I will shop at another Kroger location. This has been mentioned to management with no visible change.
I would rate this location a zero (0) and Kroger overall as a whole if given the option. Apart from being a filthy store, they rob their customers and then do it in the name of the law. They do not honor the misring policy for which their cashier is/was ignorant of. When taken to management, Lloyd, tried to justify that for every misring which if a customer doesnt catch it is money in Krogers bank. To make matters worse, Krogers customer service at 1-800-Krogers is worse than the store which Lloyd also knew which is why he was so nonchalant about giving me their number. Totally substard and unexceptional service to say the least!!! In short, the cleaner that I purchased from them I should have returned it back to them and told them to clean their filthy store with it. However, I will NEVER shop at Kroger in any state ever again as I now remember why I hadnt shopped with them in years anyway. Somehow, Kroger thinks that theyre a monopoly of the grocery chains perhaps because theyve been around for a long time....NOT. Your establishment is worse than Wal-mart. Nonetheless, Kmart obviously didnt see the day that they would be targeted by Target. Keep robbing your customers and youre going to be robbed/shut out by an up and coming and or already established grocery chain. I would say more. However, youre not worth it since Ive already purposed not to ever return to any of your establishments again. This review is more for those who are/were considering shopping with you....DONT DO IT!!!
I have no idea where the rest of these people are shopping. This store is ALWAYS in disarray. Entry needs a cleaning, shelves always EMPTY, isles filled with boxes. CHECKOUT IS AWFUL & employees who I understand are doing a tough job are RUDE. Been shopping at this store for years but it is getting worse. I will drive farther to avoid this store.
It was one of my normal stores that I visit weekly but lately the store is going down with cleanliness and organizing thru the shelf’s and counter, the floor are very dirty and the smell is bad, I am going to the location on Michigan and outer drive now driving about 10 miles farther because it’s more cleaner
I went to the store twice in one week and I got the same horrible customer service each time. The first time it was a manager who saw me standing there but didnt bother to help me. She preferred to continue her gossiping conversation with another employee (I heard the conversation).
The kettle potato chips were advertises on sale bur rang full price. I did not notice until i reviewed my receipt outside the store. Had to fall i. Lone in a very slow service counter and the lady did not want to beleive the price mistake and made excuses about the error after we walked back to the shelf where the sale price was all over the shelvez
Sometimes very messy with debris on the floor at the welcome door other than that I love the layout of this store along with the prices, the prices are great here! Sometimes really smelly seafood stinks up large amount of store lol but theres just something about this place
Dont listen to any positive review. Theyre wrong. They remodeled the store and it only made it worse. Its easly the busiest kroger in the tri-county area. Instead of expanding, they made the aisles smaller and moved everything around. Did not add any registers that they need. Not to mention its the first store out of South west detroit so you know that brings in less than reputable inner city folk.
There are never any carts in the store. They are always littered around the parking lot. This might be a reflection on the people that go to this Kroger rather than the staff but its infuriating when I come to Kroger and I have nowhere to set down my sleeping child because all the carts are outside in the pouring rain.
I go to this store all the time an I spend a lot of money here....but last night took me over the top...they literally had one line cashier open an check out lane where some registers didn’t even take cash.....they said the reason why the other registers wasn’t open was there wasn’t anyone there to work it....you mean to tell me a parking lot full of people at 9pm at night shopping for the weekend an it’s only one register open....the line was damn near the water isle ....smh this store use to be so well organized they would have someone show you the lane to go to that was less crowded but over the years that I’ve been shopping here the managers don’t seem to care anymore an the people who bag the food an get the carts be outside chillin an hanging with their co workers while their isn’t any carts or anyone to help the cashier bag stuff.....even their own employees said that the managers don’t seem to care....they need to hire somebody to get this store back on top cause there shouldn’t be a shortage of workers in this Kroger like that’s just ridiculous .....I’m watching this store slowly fail smh I don’t even know if I will ever wanna shop here again worst shopping experience ever!!!!
Customer service is not great! Waited an over an hour for someone to help me at the flowers and balloons desk. The person who came to help had a bad attitude and the rest of the workers would just walk by and ignore the fact that theres a line of people who were waiting to be helped!
First of all I like to state that Im usual customer and I know how to purchase my items i use a WIC to purchase specific items so I know all the rules and regulations on purchasing an item now Im only giving this experience a one star because Ive had a horrible horrible experience with the cashier and bag boy her name is GERRI AND THE BAGGER DAngelo I understand that it gets busy and you HAVENT had a break I understand that but it doesnt mean you have to take it out on a customer: the story is had 8 gallons of milk she told me the limit was 4 I told her not on a wic as I know this because I am a usual customer but she began to have a really bad attitude about it and would disagree with me which is fine so I told her can you leave the four on the counter and Ill come right back to buy it again so she said AS LONG AS ITS NOT ON MY REGISTER I told also told the bagger im coming right back I just have to put this in the car. I got back in two minutes and he already put them back all the way in the back of the building. You see that kind of thing I dont get mad about but you also have to know that at that time there were only like two cashiers and a huge line but I suppose theres no compassion and understanding with one another.
The only reason I go to this Kroger and not the Kroger that is further west down Michigan Ave is because it is right near my place of work and on my way home. This location is poorly organized. It also feels a lot less clean than other Krogers I have been to. The parking lot is always covered in shopping carts to the point where entire parking spots cannot be used.i wish there was a convenient alternative in the same area...
I feel it suppose to be a high quality store there prices for the exact items that you can find in stores like Wallmart are lower for the same items an they are more stocked then krogers an have plenty help an open lines more people at the fresh meat department an bill payment center when krogers you wait an hour senior citizens an others to pay a bill an the same at the fresh food department an understocked im not pleased at all .
Horrible Customer Serve Experience!!!...They refused money i just got from the bank..said it was no good to purchase my money order...I returned the money to the bank & they told me they used the wrong money marker pen & they checked it themselves saying that it was fine...never mind u I purchased money orders from kroger many times, but never ever again will I spend my money here!!..hope u all Close & go out of business...the clerk was rude & arguing w the customers & the new mngr was lost!!!
They need to start ordered fruit in the bag already weight and price I went to buy some apples in the bag that was open $1.99 per pound and took it to the register the price came up to be $8.00 that is way to much for apples all the fruit you have to weight cost to much
Customer service rep Janice has a very nasty attitude called and ask a few simple questions and she was very nasty and rude like it was a crime to ask questions her people skills are very poor how do you work customer service with a nasty attitude like that will not be returning to this store ever

2022-02-05This is the heart of the Arab community girl at the cash register was abusing middle eastern people simply because of their color and we’re unable to speak good English this is totally unacceptable and when I spoke to the manager she seemed as though she did not wanna be bothered my wife went home very Upset she bought cake mix 10 for $10 the girl at the register did not want to give her the sale price my wife simply asked her to please go look at the sign after finding my wife was correct the girl made my wife wait 15 minutes before she swiped the card and told my wife to pay. The same girl yelled at a poor old Arab senior telling him where is your Kroger card? That is no way to treat people . 99% of workers here have a horrible attitude

2022-03-26The only good thing about this location is the flower shop. Other then that everything is a complete mess, dirty floors, had to tell management that there were mice running around the aisles. It’s not at allllll how it used to be, I used to love coming here. Not at all anymore. You can’t even order a custom cake from here anymore. The lines are to the back and when you ask why aren’t the other self check out registers open their excuse is that they don’t have employees? Ummm… I’m checking out my own stuff sir

2022-05-09This is a terrible staff. The staff at this store are rude lazy and nasty.Carol, one of the cashiers that work in this store has a deployable attitude! The manager do not monitor these nasty workers. I would not recommend that a snake go inside this store. I gave them a star and they dont deserve. I wonder does the kroger Corporation see these horrible ratings. Evidently not! They continue to display the same foul disgusting attitude. CAROL -THAT CASHIER IS ONE OF THE WORST ONES. I GUESS THE MANAGERS DONT CARE.

2022-06-22There is no way that this place has almost a 4 star rating. Years ago the 4 & 5 star votes are probably still holding the score up as high as it is now. This place is easily a 2 or 3 star now. I only go here WHEN I HAVE TO. OTHERWISE AVOID.Ill give it a 3 because its not too too bad. The store isnt clean and the lines are WAAYYYYYY too long. THE GROCERY CARTS ARE THE WORST IN THE STATE OF MICHIGAN! Employees could be a little more friendlier. The reason they get the 3 stars over the 2 is because they actually have what I need. You have to give them credit for that.If your store is almost an disaster, at least have what I need and they do. Ill give them credit for that. I can go home with 85 to 90% of what i came there for. Their fruit selection is nonexistent right now. And thats been since the start of 2021. They hardly have any fruit, vegetables or any greenery. You drive 15m away and theres PLENTY of that at other super markets like Krogers and Meijer.

2021-11-16This Kroger is always busy no matter what time or what day you visit. It is hard to find decent parking. Store is clean and they have the best sushi. It’s usually very well stocked too. The only issue I have is that there are not enough cashiers or they’re too slow. I usually have to wait on average of 15 minutes in line. Still a great Kroger!

2022-01-16Do not order delivery. I ordered Dixie bowls and got a cheap substitute and did not get the big difference refunded. I’mNever ordering delivery again. First and last time. It didn’t give me the option not to substitute or when it sent me the notification I wasn’t able to say no if it’s not available get nothing. Then I’m offered a useless credit no I want my money back on my card now I still have to go get the bowls I need these are USELESS

2022-01-28Workers are so rude as though they know there is no consequence for there actions. 2 different incidents. two weeks ago my wife purchased cake mix on sale for .99 cents each. at the register it rang up for original price of $1.49. lady at register exclaimed that is the price you must pay. after asking for price check register lady reluctantly checked and found it was .99 cents on sale. she very slowly returned goods and put in sale price. same register yelled at a older immigrant where is your kroger card? we resented the way people was treated. today 2nd incident. i went to section with tostito cheese dip and did not see it. a worker was on her phone texting and i said hello and waited patiently for her to finish. in a rude tone asked me how can i help you? as i started to ask she turned her back and walked away. i said miss you turned your back why? she said go ahead Im listening. i asked about cheese dip that was on sale her answer was i know nothing about it. took a jar and it was wrong one so i went back to the section and called home on my cell phone. same girl was right there in same section with all the different brand of cheese. i told my wife what happened she told me just come home we will go out tomorrow and find it. i am 67 yrs old with 7 grandchildren and find it very difficult to be disrespected by a youngster. i am also of arabic decent and none of our young people ever treat there elders in any way except respect. i hate to say it but in both cases the girls working at krogers are young black girls and way out of line. this is the truth as God is my witness.

2022-02-01The handicapped carts never never charged I love krogers but I cant walk that far so I set my timer for 40 mins so it doesnt die while I shop this is an inconvenience but I need food.
