Kroger in other cities:
Customer service is so bad. The lady literally standing behind the desk when I approached the desk she said we are closed. There customer desk is almost always closed . This location suppose to be neighborhood friendly but obviously it’s not. I now do my shopping at kroger Westland they are way better
THE WORST BAKERY STAFF EVER!!!! They are extremely rude. I asked the baker for help finding a marble cake, she laughed at me and said they are all chocolate. DO NOT USE THERE BAKERY. The store manager did not care about my experience. Outer Drive Kroger Bakery is so kind, go there. Please
The newest issues are the bad peaches and nectarines and deceptive oranges you sold us, the fruit was no good shame on you. They more electric carts and keep them charged disabled people like my self need to shop. Very poor management. So far the wokers are nice and helpful.
Nothing but self checkout lanes open, talked with a supposed manager and a cashier and they were extremely rude about the fact they have no one to open a lane. Its pretty sad Kroger cant find 1 cashier to help out a customer with a large basket full of groceries. I was told before that there would always be at least 1 cashier available. This is Not True. Find somewhere else to shop of you can.
I placed an online delivery order last weekend and the site said it would be delivered between 8-9pm on Thursday (today). Then I got a text at 8:56pm saying it would be closer to 10-10:30pm. Then I got a text from the person fulfilling my Kroger order sayingthey kicked her out. She is person who was supposed to pick up my KROGER delivery order placed through KROGER. She showed up around 9:30-45. The store closes at 10 according to their listing. I called in before 9:50 and selected the option to speak to customer service and Kroger ended the call before I spoke to anyone. I ordered because Im sick and Im trying to be careful not to spread germs even though I feel well enough to go out and shop for myself. This is terrible. Im hungry. I called in and got a stock guy. He was nice and sympathetic. He said to call back tomorrow and speak to the manager and that the store closes at 9pm. That doesnt help me. The person fulfilling my Kroger order placed through Krogers website said she didnt even get the order until 9:06. 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ Terrible service by Kroger.
Customer service is terrible called ahead they said come on in and when I got there they’re was no one at the desk asked some employees to call someone and they kept saying they’ll be here in one minute I waited for 40 mins just to hear her repeat the same thing I explained over the phone. Terrible service
Once upon a time this specific Kroger location used to be the spot for quality fresh fruits and vegetables, vegan groceries, food specialty items, great service, quick checkouts, and the like. Not anymore! This place has went the way of the vast majority of other Metro Detroit Kroger stores — unclean, long lines, poorly looking fresh fruits and vegetables, far too many empty shelves, inconsistent stock, same day expiration date on a lot of the meat and produce, unstocked boxes of various food products blocking isles, and so on and so forth!Unless things turnaround soon, Im going to steer clear of this store for good!
I tried to have groceries delivered as they advertise. I only live a mile away and was told I would have to pick up they dont deliver to my area. Okay I compromised, sure I will pick up. Then they say I have to wait a week. Again I compromised. Bare in mind that this was told to me only after they had my money. Then they called and said I had to wait another 2 days. Now I wont have my Easter dinner food and ate the only thing I had left, eggs. Two days later I go up to the Kroger and there is a long line. Im waiting in line for an hour and a half and they have only serviced 3 cars!! Are they waiting to shop for your groceries until you get in the pick up parking spot? Unbelievable. Im still waiting and have at least 7 cars in front of me. Its 6 pm and they said I only have until 7 to pick up. Whats going to happen if Im still waiting? How do I get my money back? This is a total nightmare! I highly recommend you dont use Kroger.
Ordered online this morning for pickup from 4-5pm. I arrive at 4pm and am told it’s still not ready and that they need 10-20 min. Not a big deal, I can wait. 30 minutes go by and still nothing so I call again and am told it’s only half way done and to come back at 6pm.Would’ve been nice to get a call or email letting me know the pick up times have changed. Unfortunately I can’t pick up then so it’s very frustrating and quite unprofessional on their end. Called a manager to voice my frustration before I posted this and they couldn’t be bothered to pick up the phone or send to voicemail.
No matter when I go I find the aisles blocked by shopping carts full of emptied boxes, stock to be put out (but no one in sight doing stocking), and staff members standing around chatting with one another instead of doing something useful. How they manage to make the place so cluttered while having so many empty shelves is beyond me.
Shopping at this store is a very unpleasant shopping experience on any day and a nightmare on weekends. Clutter everywhere makes navigating difficult and there are empty shelves in virtually every aisle. I would shop elsewhere if I had another option but they closed the one store that was convenient and well-run. They have one job -- to provide the food and goods they advertise -- and they cant seem to do that.
I cannot stand this Kroger. It’s cramped. It has limited produce. The isles are narrow. And I can always count on them being out of things I want. The occasional free cell phone table rite when you walk in, is tacky. And the people signing up, are definitely not poor. It’s close. But I prefer to dive out to Meijer in Livonia instead. Not to mention, any Kroger is over priced.
They have rearranged the store and it looks much better. Dont really like the fact that I have to get used to where everything is all over again, but you just got to do what you got to do.. I like this location as well because theres other place to shop in this large strip mall and Ive been coming here for years. They also keep this store and bathroom pretty clean!
Very crowded shopping for the Holidays with a lot of confusion around the main gift card display. I heard much complaining that the registers were too slow but if you had gift cards you had to use them. We were lucky as we got in a line where the register person was very efficient, pleasant and kept everyone moving, no matter the si
I love this Krogers because the staff treat you like family. They really support the community by bring awareness of Breast Cancer. The manager of Customer Service makes incredible blankets as giveaways! The pharmacy are kind and highly professional. Love love love this location!
If I could I would do negative stars. Because of this store I will never enter a Kroger again. My husband and his father own a car accessory shop and they end up collecting bags of bottles and cans from workers and customers. On my one day off every so often I will grab up the bags and return them for them. Well after returning over 35$ worth I had a emergency call from my grandmother so I didnt get a chance to turn the slips in. So today I had a chance to turn them in and because they wouldnt scan they wouldnt take them they also accused me of buying them off of someone. I will never be coming back being accused of these things ..... THANK GOD, MEIJER WILL BE GETTING MY BUSINESS FROM NOW ON.
I dont have my photos just yet but this store needs a health inspection and soon! My visit there was veggies on the floor being walked on. Another customer picks them up and put on shelf because no employees on floor. The deli had open packages of cooked chicken...i felt like it was an Wal-Mart product licking fest..the yet licking it before you buy it. Floor was dirty only clean place was sushi area.how can I trust them to package my 9nline groceries when they that nasty! For no good reason but personal upbringing. Why are ppl so lazy and evil. Nobody likes their job these days
First, I love the location. It is centralized in a one-stop area where you dont have to go far to get everything you need. From clothes to eatery, to sporting goods to beauty care, this Kroger is positioned right in convenience of other needed shops on a street that most people travel, or at the very least, knows about. I take Ford Rd right from church to this store without going out the way to get home.Second, its almost like a super Kroger. I always find everything I need here; Im never disappointed. The staff has always been friendly towards me. I also like how Kroger allows our little young ladies to sell their girl scout cookies during that time of year.😊
This location is less than one mile from my house. Cashiers are great but manager (female, didnt catch her name), made my last shopping experience so unpleasant I now drive six miles out of my way to go to another location which has better selection and stays stocked!
This evening my wife returned bottles to your store. As she was at the U-scan getting the cash back for the return the teller proceeded to ask my wife for money. My wife thinking she had to have been joking, joked back. As the conversation proceeded it became clear that the woman was not joking at all and she continued to tell my wife that her bank account was negative and she needed money. She told my wife I keep asking people for money but everyone thinks Im joking. Its the holidays youd think people would be more giving. If Im not mistaken this could be considered a form of pan handling? While at work no less?? This is completely unacceptable. We will be taking our business elsewhere in the future.
Customer service was fine, my problem was the managements. I saw them treating a young cashier and worker like cattle, like seriously youre gonna scream at an employee while theyre assisting me and claim theyre messing up when they did nothing wrong? Aint shopping here.
Last Kroger on the list to go to. Sorry but the lack of care for the meat Dept(meat sometime dont look right) and the lack of care period there. I only go here begrundily. I wish they would change, people ARE spending theyre hard earned money. But Tonight they pretty much had what I needed(which wasnt much).
Just a few days ago, shelves looked disorganized and the chicken looked dry and I saw some ladies who Im pretty sure work there screaming and bullying at some cashier girl who looked like she was 13 years old, it was very uncomfortable for me cause they were so loud and the cashier looked distressed, in fact they all did. I wouldnt shop at a place that treats their employees like that especially one thats really young. Target is next door 👎👎👎👎
I didnt like it at all the sales item was out stock . an it went on sale Nov 4, 2018 ,2day. Pay for my Groceries was leaving out the buggy would not move. An other word only 1 cash try 2 help. It took me 15 min It would not let me go door. Nevertheless it was clearly not my Kroger 2 say we would come back.
This place used to be Farmer Jacks....which I really miss. But that has nothing to do with Kroger. I find everything I want at this store and even a few things I didnt know I wanted but loved. The check out is awesome. Always enough open. It is the number one reason I stopped going to Wal-Mart...which is a disaster. The cashiers always ask if I need stamps. Obviously, most of the times I dont but they did save me once with that question. And how convenient is it to be able to pick stamps up not at the post office?
I have lived in the area for less than 2 years, but I shop at Kroger on Cherry Hill as well as this location. I know the employees now. Unfortunately, I give them two thumbs down. As time has passed, these familiar employees have become astoundingly rude. And I mean rude! I am going to go to Aldi or to the other markets in Canton.Shame on you Kroger management! Where is your customer service? I am so done with your rude, burned-out ladies! Yuk.
Whether you stopped coming to this location or simply never been here before, I urge you to visit/revisit. They remodeled the entire store, reorganized almost everything so you NO longer need to jump between 11 isles to get two items that should have been shelved side by side......MOST IMPORTANTLY THOUGHT.......they have finally replaced the broken self checkout registers and doubled if not tripled their amount. NO longer will You wait 5 minutes to pay for a drink because 3 checkouts are down and two people are self checking out two half the store.Oce been shopping at this location for almost 8 years and I have never been dissatisfied with a single purchase and kroger has always fulfilled its promuse to deliver quality products, fresh produce, and huge selection to choose from.P.s. this location has a pharmacy, a credit uniom to wire money, offers faxing and photo copying, a very talented woman that arranges beautiful bouquets for unbelievable prices, bank, fresh in home made sushi, a bakery that offers birthday cakes with name in frosting and all the yummy treats you can think off, as well as fresh seafood and meat. Basically its a one stop shop at amazing prices.
The Pharmacy Staff Members & Head Customer Service here at Kroger needs/will be under Major Review IMMEDIATELY!!!This is a New Year its time to do some early long overdue Spring Cleaning their Staff Members here at Kroger!!!I unnecessarily experienced some Racial Profiling, and rudely unethical behavior from both Depts., yesterday evening.Unfortunately, I will proceed to make every effort to request to be compensated, and with an apology letter from all the Staff Members involved in yesterdays disturbing incident -Before I further my Complaints to our Legal System for Class Action, and Report to our local Media on standby at this time. Please be advised this Kroger DO NOT, treat their Customers fairly in an appropriate manner. This is unacceptable and it needs to STOP NOW!!!
Its a Damn shame kroger ( the over paid top Dogs) care NOTHING about the cashiers that lost their job or hours were chopped down to almost nothing because they are being replaced with self check outs !!! I would be willing to bet the majority of people do not like it. I guess thats ok it makes for better bonuses and raises for those self centered greedy Bastards...
This Kroger has a huge flaw that many overlook, the self-checkout lanes. Now even though I do agree it takes away jobs that is however not the reason I am rating this one-star. The self-checkout lanes are highly ineffective and also very annoying. First, the machine freezes up and says Contacting assistance for reasons that are completely ignorant. I was there checking out my food like normal where the computer froze up and made me wait over 10-minutes for the manager to walk over, asked me what I needed; I said nothing, and it just did that, she then proceeded to enter a code and walk away. I waited for nothing; these self-checkout lanes are supposed to be quicker. Also doing my labor and bagging my food is insane, many people would call me lazy or entitled, however, in reality, we pay more money than what the groceries are worth, so we can have an outlet that does all the work for us, and in return we pay extra which funds the labor/rent etc. If Krogers is buying milk per gallon for $1 while reselling it for $3, that is acceptable since I am having it processed and sent to an outlet near me whom also contains and keep the milk cold until I purchase it. Im paying extra money for the service such as bagging, checking my food out, keeping my food cold, however, these machines the big million dollar company to save more money. It use to be simple where the self-checkout machines where only really the primary source of checkout late at night, however, now Ill go into Krogers at 6pm, and there will be no lanes at all open.
In the past few months every time I come here they are out of basic items. Today I spoke to the grocery manager who stated its the management and everything is a mess...when I asked to talk to the store manager he told me he wouldnt call him and I had to go back to customer service. Guess Im done going here.
Theyre always short staffed since they were given a new manager and the employees say corporate and store managers don’t care about them no matter what they do. The only goal for management is to do whatever it takes to collect a profit share. I won’t be shopping at Krogers anymore unless it’s urgent.
Usally this kroger has everything i went in there for. Tonite they did not, there was zero sugar on any kink looked like a Tornado went down isle. Went to get some sampoo the results were the same 👎went to get some ice cream, very little selection. I will go back again but if it dosent emprove i will go some where elseMaybe a offnite?????
The lady at the seafood department was very much so rude treating me as if I was her child. I asked for my salmon to be rinsed again she explained to me about a ice rinse. Smh I am the consumer please do as I ask. No more no less. Then her co worker says to her just smile. Smh black people can NEVER DO AS THEY ARE ASKED WITHOUT CONFRONTATION. I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK TO THIS KROGER FOR THIS PURPOSE. AS IF I DIDNT UNDERSTAND WHAT THE PHRASE JUST SMILE MEANT. I EVEN APOLOGIZED FOR ME ASKING THAT SHE RINSE MY SALMON.
We love our kroger but -WE NEVER CAN BUY CUCUMBERS THERE AND OTHER CERTIAN FOODS.BECAUSE THEY CATER HEAVILY TO ONE CERTIAN ETHNIC GROUP, THAT BUYS EVERYTHING UP AS SOON AS IT GOES ON SALE. LITERLY EMPTY SHELFS. SUPPOST TO HAVE PRODUCTS IN BACK TO LET OTHER PPLE SAVE AS WELL.

2022-01-02(Livonia Michigan) Last minute shopping so the lines were horrendous on New Years eve! I was probably 40th in line. I felt bad for those who only had one or two items to purchase. ALL 5 checkout lines were 40 deep. I do understand that workers are scarce, but I didn’t understand why the cashier was rude and embarrassed me. I prematurely handed her my ID before she rang up my wine and she motioned with her hands, “ what?what?what?” In my embarrassment, I forgot to give her my coupons set to expire in two days. I spent $100! I’m not happy with Kroger.

2022-05-20Very clean, great selection of items. Their sugar yummy aka cake/dessert showcase is absolutely amazing! They have traditional as well as more unique items. Their deli foods smell really good. Prices are a little high, but the selection of options and quality make up for it.

2022-03-22Charyl was awesome. The florist was gone for the night but she made sure to help me choose and wrap the perfect bouquet. It was sweet and that customer service. I appreciate her and hope Kroger is keeping her happy because as Im writing on the card, all I hear is another customer complimenting her on her kindness and professionalism

2022-05-06The only thing I liked about this location was relatively quick checkout. Today just a little bit busy. Get to checkout & only one lane open. 9 people with full carts & line not moving. Left my cart & walked out. These stores want us to do job of checkout (self checkout) so they can fire people.

2022-05-25Walked in well before closing, was quick to shop, what seemed to be the manager rudely told us they were closed and rushed us out. Yelled across the hall to get our attention. I don’t think it’s common practice to kick people out when we are already in. They also recently changed their closing hours so we had no idea, no announcement made on intercom. For reference, we walked in at 9:50, they close at 10, rudely yelled at by 10:02, and we left by 10:07. We were not there long. Wish I got her name, African lady with no vest or name tag in sight.

2020-01-13I love Kroger although the lady in the Deli and the older man in the Seafood dept. seem to be having a bad day. Everyone else was friendly and helpful. Kroger always has a good sale going on.

2022-04-08I rated it a two because dont get me wrong, theyre well stocked, its clean, good produce, but the customer service is so trash it really does make your shopping experience worse. The whole team slow as ever and by slow i mean in the head. I try not to say things like that, but after my most recent trip there, I have to say something. First I stopped by the money center and the lady was being slow as ever. She was doing money orders and everything so slowly. Then when she got to the customer in front of me she stopped and started talking to her coworker about a raffle. I was so shocked! As customer service, you should never stop and handle personal business before handling the customer. Then,at checkout the cashier, manager and another cashier I guess, were being so rude and nasty to these two Arabic men, and it was obviously on purpose. She went all the way to the produce section to figure out if they took digital coupons, when all she had to do was scan the coupon and find out. I cannot comprehend how almost their entire staff is like this. And that same cashier also cut me off before I was getting in line. Shes very lucky because it could have gotten very ugly had I not composed myself. They chose to throw their racist tempur tantrum right when I was getting in line smh

2022-04-04Overall not a bad store but the deli section is never open. 2pm, 3pm, 4pm, 5pm. No matter the day of the week its never open. Does anyone know when it is open? Who is buying all the lunchmeat that seems to get restocked? Why is this a problem here?
