Kroger in other cities:
Very disappointed with clicklist. Many times I get meat that is within 2 days of expiration unless I specify in my order that I want the latest expiration date. I’ve had a case of pop that had 2 empty cans in it, smashed bread, rotten produce, etc. Today was my final straw! I ordered and was charged for 3 cans of soup but I only received 1. Also, I ordered gallons of water and cases of water and received 0. Apparently they don’t have even one gallon of water or one case of water on their shelves to substitute in my order. They never sent a text for the out of stock items for me to respond to and failed to mention they didn’t complete my order when I picked up. They want me to drive back up there to get my 2 cans of soup. No thank you! With 3 sick kids at home, that is not an option.
This place is always kept very neat and clean Im a service here from even the stock workers are we above par. The produce is always kept nice and clean and fresh while I was shopping this stock young boy who is working ask me how my day was and if I was finding everything ok...he didnt even have to acknowledge me but he did and it was really really nice to have that done... Again while I was walking through one of the isles.... A young boy who is stocking shelves asked me how I was and if I was finding everything okay...Im telling you this kind of services doesnt happen everywhere and its really really wonderful these young individuals are taught and trained to do this I know I go out of my way to talk to people but this is just stellar service and I love it I purposely go out of my way to go to this Kroger instead of the other Kroger simply because of the service Ive already gotten here in the past...When I was standing in line the lines were gaining quite quickly it was the day before super bowl of course so it was busy...the manager on duty actually open to more lanes and was directing people to get into the lanes I think him a couple of times this is a really really well-run store kudos to Kroger four four four!!
I think the management needs to address the hygiene of some of the employees. Not only do they appear unkept but two employees , one I passed multiple times, needed be introduced to deodorant. Also a lesson on bagging needs taught. Cleaning supplies shouldnt be bagged with food, and heavy canned goods shouldnt be with fruits. This isnt the first time this has occurred either.

2022-02-19The deli plastic bags that they use are disaster you cant open them without tearing them up. This is been an ongoing issue with Kroger even their own employees cant handle these bags. And yet it seems management refuses to upgrade to a bag that is more convenient for its customers

2022-06-28So inconsistent. They make breakfast sandwiches and they are available for one day a week it seems, if your gonna make something new keep it available everyday. Zero excuse for it. Store smelled like sewage yesterday morning but that’s Kroger, horrible company that treats their employees like slave workers

2021-12-15Used to be great friendly store now its we close at 9 pm on a weekday? Im a single Dad and work late and now cant go to kroger after 9pm? They announce store closing and make your final selection and basically kick u out. Fine Ill just shop at meijer from now on. They are open till midnight and are way nicer.

2022-06-07Its ok. A little more expensive than some other stores. But they have items on sale, just like other stores. Theyve had more selections in the meat departments.

2021-10-29This used to be a nice store but it is time for Kroger to pull the plug on shopping on-site. They are not committed to the store or to customer service. You can no longer find a manned checkout and are instead required to use the shelf checkout. This has been the case on multiple visits and various times of day. The excuse is that no one wants to work. This is a true and growing problem, in general, but Meijers has skilled staff, on hand, at 6am. Other retail establishments except Walmart, also have staff on hand for the purchase. All Kroger stores were trying to force customers to the self checkouts well before Covid so that is not an excuse. More likely, they simply do not value in-person customer shopping and the experience that goes with it. Like Walmart, Kroger does not offer anything of reasonable value that would make this acceptable.

2021-09-08Their grocery pick up is a huge fail. I’m always missing items, their staff is rude. Today I show up & the girl comes out to my car to tell me that “my order isn’t ready & she isn’t sure when it will be”How convenient. Won’t be using again unfortunately

2019-02-17Store was well stocked however the service I received was less than stellar. Unfortunately I encountered two very rude employees on separate occasions that were more interested in personal conversations than helping me find what I was looking for.

2020-05-22Great staff always helpful and around when needed. We shop there every other day we barely go to other grocery stores they always have great Weekly deals. We are used to the one in Lansing before we moved to this area this one seems a bit smaller with a bit smaller selection in the bakery, fruits/vegetables, and artisan cheese.

2020-07-26Everyone is great and helpful. Had one bad experience with a cashier named Sally. Yes, I am calling her out because she was just mean and threw my stuff all because I didnt use a divider. But if I dont have to see her, its a good experience.
