Kroger Pharmacy in other cities:
This pharmacy used to be great, not sure what had changed last few weeks but it has been awful. First I spent 30 minutes getting told different things by different employees, then was lied to. I didnt want to go back scared they were going to be so rude again. Today I went to pickup my insulin, which I kind of need, I put in refill request few days ago. Ive been going here over a year, yes I get a large amount of insulin, but being I go there every month they should know how much to order. Im completely out of insulin, and they tell me they are out till tomorrow. Why wasnt I called? I dont have the gas to drive to another location, but I was near another location last night, if they would of told me I could of gotten it filled there, but now Im here with no insulin for over 24 hours. I will be changing pharmacies, and I will let everyone know how awful this place has gotten.
My son was due for his 2nd covid shot and and Jamie and Tiffany refused to give it to him they said that I had to come at a certain time but I did come last time at the same time and I work all week so I dont get out till 6 They told me to go somewhere else if I wasnt happy with them I dont get it very unprofessional theyre gonna make krogers look bad so interwriting so thank you riteaid for not turning me down Never going to kroger pharmacy again

2022-05-01I couldnt take my insulin for months because they wouldnt fill my prescription for syringes. They kept telling me they were contacting the insurance company and doctors office to straighten it out, and telling me I needed to call the insurance company. After hearing excuse after excuse, I finally called another pharmacy (Binsons Medical Equipment and Supplies in Hurley, Flint) and had the prescription switched there. Binsons pharmacy was able to fill it THAT day. Kroger pharmacy was just using the wrong code. When I got a different prescription for insulin, Kroger pharmacy wouldnt fill that either. They said I wasnt covered and the doctor needed to change the brand to one that was. I asked them to call the doctor, and they said they wouldnt do that because thats not their job. As soon as I realized Kroger pharmacy was being problematic again, I switched the prescription to Binsons pharmacy. Binsons pharmacy did call the doctor and got my prescription filled that day.Other issues: they only fill your prescription if you call them and tell them to. If they receive a prescription and you call right away, its 1 hour until its filled. If they receive a prescription and you call 2 hours later, its still 1 hour until its filled.Theyre often out of medicines. The entire staff are some of the rudest people Ive ever met.I went there to get a vaccine, but changed my mind when one of the techs grossed me out. While I was waiting in line, she pulled her mask down under her chin, rubbed her nose with her hand, and went back to sorting medicine. She didnt put her mask back up and she didnt change her gloves or wash her hands. Yuck!Their only redeeming quality is that theyre located in Kroger grocery store, which is an amazing store with an excellent selection. If Kroger werent my store, I would NEVER go to this pharmacy. Actually thats probably how they can afford to be so awful. They have no incentive to change because they have a built-in clientele.

2021-12-15Not sure what has changed as of recently but the service is definitely the worst it has ever been. If I dont call about my prescription it will not get filled when I originally request it. If you walk in and ask about it they will say that its a priority and fill it in about 10 minutes but I have to constantly go in or call to make sure that I get my medication. Youll have better luck going in because if you call the phone will just ring and youll leave a message and they normally dont call you back. Again, Ive had great luck with this pharmacy in this location for a long time and Im not sure what has changed but its not what it used to be.

2021-10-21The wait for a pickup is ridiculous. Kroger is awful to their employees and can’t keep staff at this location. The drive thru pickup window has been closed for months, and the lines inside the store to pick up a prescription are always seven or more people deep. Fix this issue Kroger!!! Start treating your employees like they matter so they will stick around. I heard what the pay rate per hour you try to pay people is, and it’s unacceptable. Time to change pharmacies!

2021-04-16I have used this pharmacy for the past 7 years, they used to be exceptional. Not sure what happened this year, if its new staffing or what could be the variant. I had my script called in at 5 pm Thursday night for my ear/sinus infection, they said it would be filled by 6. I went to pick it up, the lady was short and said it wouldnt be done til the following morning. I called Friday morning talked with the pharmacy and they said it will be filled by 11:00 so I go at 1230 and it still wasnt filled.

2021-10-15I used to only love Davison Kroger pharmacy now I dread every time I have to go there. It’s literally a nightmare. They don’t even offer to get scripts through the drive thru and good luck getting them to answer the phone. Today I had to call 6 times for an answer. Script was called in days prior, of course they didn’t fill it yet and just started on it when I called. This has happened every single time the last couple months. The lines insane inside. If someone’s script isn’t ready they don’t take the person behind them. They make you wait til they ring that person up. I watched it happen while I waited 30 minutes in line to get helped. (2 people in front of me) I’m switching pharmacies today because they just suck.

2021-03-27Giving them the benefit of the doubt here with the crazy amount of vaccines they got in, but they forgot to order my prescription twice and still got it wrong when they handed it to me. Getting my medication isnt life or death, or anything as dramatic as that, but Im a trans man and my script bwing a week late brought on my period and a week of panic attacks and mood swings. Just wish they had enough staff to comfortably run the place.

2021-10-22If I could give a NEGATIVE NUMBER I would. The past 3-4 months when Ive went to pick up my CALLED IN SCRIPT , 3-5 days after they say it will be ready and it’s NOT😡. Today I went to pick of my medicine that I called in on Sunday and they said it would be ready on Tuesday AND IT WASNT READY and the best part is I’m OUT OF MY MEDICINE. I would never recommend them. The staff that is working there now are rude and nasty. Going elsewhere.

2020-12-16I’ve Been Using This Pharmacy For About A Year Now And For The Most Part, Receiving My Medications Have Been A Smooth Process. Today I Called To See When I Could Come Pick Up My Medicine And Whoever Answered The Phone Was Hateful To Say The Least. I Could Also Hear The Pharmacist Mocking Me In The Background. These People Act Like They Hate Their Jobs And The Customers. We All Have Our Days But This Pharmacy Has A Bad Habit Of Mistreating Customers. The “Woman” Who Answered The Phone Today Has Been Rude Several Times In The Past And I Will Be Changing Pharmacies As Soon As I Can.

2020-07-26This week I have had more trouble than at any other time. I called with a question about my medications as I am scheduled for surgery this week. The rudest, curtist man answered the phone , he was confrontational about my meds and hung up before I could ask any questions--I was told that particular med could NOT be refilled for 1 more day so I ok I will pick it up tomorrow....my husband tried but it had not been filled-I called and got the same man who was again short-not letting me finish a sentence or ask a question. I am 67 yrs old and dont appreciate that kind of treatment. I will definitely be changing pharmacies.

2020-09-07I have used this pharmacy since 2008, and I have always been very pleased with the service. Even after moving to Lapeer, and (for a short time) trying the Kroger Pharmacy out here, I just didnt get the great service I was used to getting in Davison, and so now I make the drive back a couple of times a month. Everyone has been awesome but Ashley is simply exceptional.
