Kroger in other cities:
This Kroger is terrible. We wont be back. Theres a few employees that work there that are extremely rude. We had Celestine as our cashier. She was rude and had a attitude. When it wad was our turn to cash out, we got up there we asked how she was doing and got a dirty look and no verbal response.
For the most part its pretty good, today however the produce and lack of chicken breasts was frustrating. The garlic looked gross, the 3 heads of lettuce they had looked rotten (one was in a tied produce bag-no other wrapping) and the heritage farm chicken breast was gone- which, most of the time there is only a tiny selection of it anyway, cause its the cheapest.. wish they would stock more of it! Cashier was nice though.
This review is based on answers to questions I asked employees concerning how the store functions and based on negative reviews I’ve seen here. Everyone I spoke to was extremely nice and polite and even recently I have never had any issues shopping here beyond it being too busy. First, this store is BUSY. There are no days where it isn’t very busy and the only times it’s slow are early mornings. The store was not built for the amount of customer traffic it regularly receives. The staff does their best but because of low staffing in recent months there really not much they can do to make it better. Store orders are limited by a budget provided by the company and no one in the store can do anything about it. Regular cashier lanes do not open until 8am. Before that there is only one cashier running self checkout. If you don’t like using self checkout don’t shop before 8am. This is based on staff limitations to make sure enough staff is available at busier times. The fresh departments (Deli, Bakery, Meat) are suffering from a severe staff shortage and will be closed any time there is no one to work the departments. The bakery cake decorator retired and the position is being filled by whoever is available each day but most have no training. The deli rarely has anyone to run the service counter and the hot food area has been limited to only whole chickens since their primary chicken cook was promoted. The majority of their curtesy clerks/baggers are minors and have returned to school schedules so expect shortages of these on school days before 4pm. If you use a regular cashier lane please bag your own groceries if there are no baggers. The bottle returns are broken and in bad need of maintenance. The staff is aware of this but nothing has been done to fix it and they don’t know why either. All in all this store is very good but over utilized and understaffed, and poorly maintained by the company. What staff they have are either very knew or been there decades. No one was rude to me at all.
Nothing to do with covid only worse since covid but its been going down hill for a few yrs beforehand and its a shame because its a good location. The rest from cleanliness, attitudes, poor stocking, out of date products, deli/bakery major inconsistencies. Pick up they come to your car to get your payment card and you have to give them your PIN and they take it into the store to pay for your order. INSANE. Store and middle management and insanity of thinking youd be okay to give Perfect strangers your bank card PIN # needs massive overhaul and updating or just close it already.
I usually go to a different Kroger, but I decided to stop at this one after working 10hrs. When I was scanning items, I noticed the elderly lady working in self check out today was very rude and snapped at me when I didn’t understand what she was asking me to do on the screen then she was extra aggressive at pushing options on the persons computer next to me. There was no reason for her to be so irritated and rude.
Ordered a birthday cake a week ago for my daughters 5th birthday party and was scheduled to pick it up at 11am. I was contacted at 9am and told that there was no cake decorator and that my cake was not going to be made. Was just told Sorry. My daughter designed her cake and was SUPER excited about it. Thanks for nothing.
I used to love going to this Kroger. I go every week on Saturday or Sunday and shop for a week at a time. Most of the time my husband will go about twice a week and pick up extra things that we may need. As of lately I have really Not liked this place. Customer service is often rude, the produce has been horrible or lack thereof and it smells like something died all throughout the front of the store. As of my last shopping experience,I made the decision to just leave the few groceries I could find on my list in the cart and go to Meijer.
This location is always clean with a friendly staff. Monday mornings are not a good time to shop due to the Sunday coupon crowd but they restock pretty quickly. They recently installed a new seafood case that keeps out that fishy smell, with a wonderful variety. My only issue was recently they rearranged the way they stocked the shelves for a week and didnt change the aisle signs immediately during the change over. It led to a much more lengthy shopping trip that I had planned. Overall I would recommend this store to others.
I went to this store today..may 5...and noticed most of the employees with their state-mandated masks below their chin. Then I saw the customer service manager doing the same. I suggested he pull up his mask and he reluctantly did. 2 minutes later, I saw him again with his mask down. In light of the exposure the grocery store employees have, I have great concerns that they are failing in many other areas to disinfect and take the precautions Kroger corporation says the stores are taking to help prevent spreading the virus.
This is the absolute most disgusting grocery store I have ever been in, in my entire life!!!! Im posting pics following my review. At a time where we need to be extra clean and extra careful, this store is a disgrace to the Kroger name. I will be going to Meijer down the road. They are very well kept and clean.
This store is probably one of the worst. They usually are out of stock of most sale items and some regularly priced items. When pepsi products are on sale they never order an excess amout to handle the sale, they run out the day the sale starts. This store is next to where i live so it is convenient for me but now i pay someone, which i really cannot afford, to take me to another store so i can get everything i need. This store needs to hire more people to stock shelves during the day as stuff runs out. Especially the sale items. Oh and ive made this mistake 3 times in the last 3 days. Dont try to take bottles back. The bottle room is closed due to some nonposted reason. The machines cannot handle the amount of cans. Who knows.
This is the 4th time Ive had a issue with this location. First of all, self checkout today has terrible customer service. She gave me attitude because I went through self checkout.. She forced me to regular cashiers lane... Theres a few reasons why I dont like going through regular checkout. 1. I dont want anyone else handling my groceries during this pandemic. Theyre rude and they dont use gloves when they handle your groceries. I wear gloves into the store why cant they when theyre scanning groceriesor bagging? The baggers dont bag correctly. they just throw whatever into a bag and let other items get smashed. Had another customer walking around with no mask at all. No one said anything. I will tell all my customers and other co workers to not go this location. Ill also be writing a letter to management. This stores customer service is the worst at any location in Detroit area. Do not shop here!!
This was my second time doing the curbside. My first experience was delightful. Todays experience not so much, I called when I got there at 5 when my order was supposed to be ready and sat there and waited for 10 minutes and then I called again asking if somebody was going to come and get my coupons. I was told someone was on their way now. So I waited for another 10 minutes before I went inside to see what was taking so long. Only Define two of the girls that had carts standing there by the fridges just chatting away. Asked if my order was ready they said yes and I said great I have coupons unless its going to take me another 15 minutes because I have to go. They told me no it wont take that long. I went back to my car. Where I waited for another 5 minutes before somebody arrived with my cart of food. While I was helping the young lady unload her cart into my vehicle I noticed that they had just thrown items in the bag they did not look nice and neatly put in with care not to mention the fact that they decided to throw a cereal box crushing my bread. There I have another five minute wait for a new loaf of bread. In all it took a half an hour to get my items that should have been ready at 5. Very dissatisfied this time around not sure if Im going to do curbside again.
Worse experience ever, over crowded, No one is standing 6 feet apart, shelves are empty, cant get to Frozen foods people blocking no room. Only 1 regular line and 2 self service. Some people told me they have been standing in line for 1 hr or more. No way. VERY VERY VERY OVER CROWDED. They continue to let people in. Parking Lot Overcrowded in all lots. SHAME ON ALL KROGERS STORES IN MICHIGAN. 👿👿👿💣💣💣
Store is always clean and well put together, friendly staff. Lines normal go pretty fast! cashiers are always welcoming. Never had problems when it comes to return my bottle returns...all machines all normal run i think in the last few years Ive gone there, only been maybe 2 times they had machines down compare to most! Thank you for the awesome service!
Their shelves are always bare. When I shop there I have to leave without getting much of what I wanted to buy because they were out. The breads sometimes dont have end dates. Aisles are crowded and hard to get down. Parking lot is not big enough and difficult to get a spot. This store is closest to me but I go out of my way for a better store.
Just a quick run to the grocery store. This Kroger is usually clean and orderly. The perimeter is kept up and the produce section is always stocked. They have a good selection of natural and organic foods. This Kroger does sell liquor, which, I think might be new. They also just recently got rid of their 10 items or less type lanes, in favor of more U-Scan machines.
Kroger is the hometown supermarket. Its conveniently close to my house, and they usually have what I need. The store is usually clean and friendly. This location was recently remodeled and updated. The updates included a better deli counter, meat and fish counter, pharmacy, and upgraded liquor selection. We used to shop here all the time but since they closed the other Kroger location at Ford and Middlebelt this location has been increasingly more crowded. The parking lot is nowhere near big enough for the amount of people that come here during the weekend.
We found the store to be dirty on stock and understaffed weve been shopping here at this location for approximately 15 years. Through the construction we expected that now the construction is done to start seems to be more discombobulated than it ever was serious problem in management it sounds like. I think Kroger Corporation should get up off their dead asses and go see whats wrong with that store is that this point in time after that shopping trip on 5/30 2018. From this point forward I believe we will be shopping at Meijer they seem to have cleaner stores and stock shelves and not so understaffed soon as be a problem you should probably give your people a raise your dads could go south to corporate
They are closing stores, so its messy and people are hoping for sales and there are none.thw shelves are empty because of the move, but the store near my house that they are expanding, the shelves are empty as well. Why is this ,!!🤔🤔🤔🤔. Well they had the grand opening last week and wow 😂🙋. It was worth the weight. They have a pharmacy now and larger station for fresh seafood and all types of fresh water fish. They have a fresh butcher meat counter and poutry counter now. A few days ago I purchased some chicken breast and pork chops stuffed with dressing. Boy was it good and it was seasoned just right!!!! The new look is great and lots of sales, which is good because Krogers can be overly priced. Only two down falls I see are they have the card Dept right across from the dairy section and its cold as heck ⛄ who wants to search for Birthday cards etc... And your freezing your butt off. The other problem is the parking lot. They closed the other Krogers Store on middle belt but didnt figure on expanding the lot. Now people have already started beating out each other for a spot. I can see parking lot rage starting. All in all Im in pressed(11-29-17) 👍💕🍎
I have been to this store twice and its dim and seems to be disorderly. The first time I went to this store i noticed the lack of stock and lack of pricing on items. So I didnt get much. I figured okay probably a shipment day. The next time i went to this store for specific items. Chicken from the deli and spaghetti salad. It was around 4:30 and i was told the chicken cooking was for an order and they were not making anymore. I was 4:30 pm during a work week. The other Krogers that i have been to serve hot deli food til 7 pm. Not a good experience either time I went.
This Kroger has become very busy, especially since the Kroger one mile south of here is permanently closing. Pros: decent produce section, good house brands, great deli counter, recently remodeled. Cons: the store is small and busy, checkout lanes can be unreasonably busy, especially when Im on my way home from work, parking lot is ALWAYS crowded.
Some of the workers are nice, a lot are not... I have a very hard time finding things in this store and it can be difficult to get around. It is clean yes, but very crowded. Every time I have gone in there hasnt been anyone at the seafood section and it takes another 10-15 mins. before anyone will come and help..Im sorry to say I do not shop at this Kroger anymore.
Let me start by saying that I love Kroger. My family and I shop there all the time and spend quite a bit of money there. We shop at different ones in the local area but the one at Middlebelt and Warren is closest. That being said, today I just had a rude experience with an employee working at this location today Tuesday, 1/5/16 around 11am. The check out ladys name was Celeste. During checkout I had inquired politely about some of the pricing and just to make sure I stayed under budget and was slightly confused about how a few items were listed on the screen. I made sure to be very nice and brief as there were people waiting behind me. Well, Celeste must not have had her break yet today because her attitude was horrible. I work in public service and I understand how horrible people can be sometimes but I always make sure to be the kind of customer I would want to serve myself so I know I was in no way giving her cause to treat me as she did. She made me feel bad for asking a question and acted like I was the biggest inconvience in the world to take an extra moment of her time. I said nothing to the manager, although I will admit that I thought about it, but everyone had an off day so I let it go but after getting in the car I decided to rate it here, because customers shouldnt be treated that way. It was just rude and makes me want to shop at Meijer more. Other that that it is a nice store. I hope her manager reads these reviews from time to time because she needs an attitude adjustment badly.
I used to love this Kroger. It’s the only one I’ve gone to since it opened but they need better employees. It’s getting worse and worse. The DELI NEEDS NEW employees BADLY. They have a horrible disposition . They roll their eyes, you asked for thinly sliced and they don’t seem to understand what that means. Too many times we have left with the wrong things and they often close before 9 because they are lazy and obviously don’t want to be there. Tonight I asked for Mesquite turkey and didn’t realize till I got home that she gave me some kind of maple turkey. When I called Kroger at 8:40 to say I was coming back up to get the right turkey , no one answered so I quickly drove back up and got there at 850 cause I live about 2 mins down the street. There was not a soul in site and all the lights were already off at the deli. This inconvenience has happened for WAY too long and I just can’t stay quiet about this anymore. I may be done shopping at ALL Kroger’s at this point . DONT GO TO THIS LOCATION.
The bottle return area is disgusting with most of the machines either not working or partially working. They also need to open more registers. The self service registers were constantly acting up and the poor worker was running like crazy trying his best to help out customers.
Dont say you open at 6am and have workers walking in at 610 closing the door behind them when they clearly see you. Its a shame that the other Kroger is closing. The customer service is so much better there and the people are 100% more friendly. I will be shopping at Meijer from now on. This morning was the last straw.
Man I really love shoppin at Krogers for my food supplies. They have really great low prices on over the counter drugs. I dont save this much anywhere else. Plus they actually have employees who help find what I need. Its my 1st stop and most of the time my only stop. Plus they help local farmers when the produce is in season.
This is my usual Kroger store. Its always clean and has a good selection of organic products. A couple of issues though, stuff isnt always stocked and some of the employees arent very friendly. The seafood counter/staff is great, I always get fresh fish and recommendations on new ways to prepare it. I can usually get in and out quick, even with a cart full of stuff. When its busy they have several check outs open. There is another kroger store a mile away(Middlebelt and Ford Rd) but this one is by far a better store.
I ordered a 4ft sub and chicken tenders for our July 4th BBQ. The sub came in 4 pieces, which made it easy to keep cold and put out as needed. The chicken tenders were very tasty and tender, there was none left. Will definitely order from there again!!! Thanks Kroger!
For the added volume of shoppers that visit this store since the garden city location closed you would think Kroger would double their stock but they havent. Each time I go to this location its extremely busy, its rather difficult to navigate the aisles without ruining into another shoppers cart at least 4-5 times throughout the visit. Which causes added stress for shoppers then not being able to find the items you came for is even more frustrating but the icing on the cake is once youve finally found the items location its out of stock and the comparison item is triple in price. 🤔😯😖
First day of the weekly sale & the shelves are not stocked. Check girl stopped in the middle of ringing my items to help her coworker in the next lane scan items on the bottom of customers cart! Then no apology for the delay. Register scanned one of my items higher than it should be, but clerk at customer service said they only give the 5X for incorrect scanning on weekends! Kroger doesnt care about service, customers, stocked shelves, or anything else!
This Kroger really fell off since the other one in garden city on middle belt just north of Ford road closed. Everything is always out of stock! I waited to make this review, to see if they could figure out proper stock on the obviously expected uptick in business. Wrong! When you walk in at 3 p.m. on a Tuesday and theyre out of bananas its a big red flag to me. Hopefully they can figure it out, but for now my business will be taken elsewhere.
They just remodeled the store and completely removed the healthy foods section. As a result of this the organic foods and gluten free, special diet etc. products have all been integrated into the regular items. Its somewhat difficult now to find the organic foods you want since they are mixed in with the other foods. Also they stopped carrying a lot of organic favorites and have replaced them with the Kroger brand simple truth. Im not happy about that and will be going to meijer to get those items now.Since several local Kroger stores have been recently closed (permanently) this location is now much more busy, crowded. The parking lot is too small to handle the level of traffic and the aisle ways inside are far too narrow. The place is a mad house. It used to be okay but now it sucks.
Third time I have been there to return bottles for work and third time all the bins were full. Rang bell 4 differnt times and no one answered. I was told by the Kroger florest to go to customer service desk for help. I guess she cant make a call. So I had to go stand in line there. I have shopped at many Kroger and this is the worst. It has nothing to do with the construction going on there. I wont go back. They suck.
This store is one of krogers worst stores people that work there many are rude the shelves are always empty and one employee who works bottle room and gets carts is a nasty man. A lot of what he does can be over looked due to him being ♿ but he should be doing something that does not involve customer interaction. The worst part is empty shelves they are always in the way stocking at all hours of the day and the shelves are still empty all because they closed 2 other stores nearby. this would be the store located at Middlebelt and Warren in Westland
Daughter has food allergies and needs special items, couldnt find it on my own. Went to service desk and young man sent me right to the item I was looking for and I found a few other things I needed as well. And was very polite. Thats hard to find these days, young and polite.
Been going to this Kroger for years. They seem to have everything that I need (just about). Always lots of cars in the parking lot. Make sure that you have a Kroger Key tag (membership) so as to get the best prices on store items. There is a Kroger gas station about a block away on the corner of Warren & Middlebelt which I guess you need to use the key tag to get the advertized price. But for the store, I recommend it as being clean, well stocked, and with friendly, helpful staff.
Store shelves arent stocked no one in site stocking shelves if you go go first thing in morning because once things are sold they dont restock...deli workers are terrible lazy dont want to work...when you have 10 people waiting and one lady working and the other 2 are standing there talking doing nothing and you tell manager they dont care...got one to work but he wasnt happy with complaint girl comes up to help rubs nose touches inside containers then digs in box to get gloves and puts gloves on...well you just touched your nose then my containers and then gloves and well you just contaminated everything you touched....if this is safe practice of handling food in front of customers id hate to see what you do when no one is around. I think ill call health department and file a complaint in morning and never come back to this Kroger again...ill take a lil longer drive and try Meijer for now on...absolutely disgusted with what i witnessed tonight at your deli not to mention store is never stocked at night
I go to this store ONLY cuz it’s right down the street but whenever I go there, morning, afternoon or evening, they are always out of things! And today I was there ( 1-17-19 ) and we were in vegetable section and some cabbage fell on ground, so instead of putting it back on shelf so nobody would buy it I slid the cabbage to the foot of where it would go, keeping it on the floor. A minute or 2 later one of the stock people put the dirty, on the floor cabbage back on the shelf for people to purchase. I told someone who had a name tag, maybe a manager? And he was ok with the cabbage on the floor going back on shelf. Now I know u r supposed to clean all veggies but that is disgusting!! If u go to a restaurant and they drop your steak & just wash it off, is that ok? No!!!! After this incident I will no longer shop at this store on Warren/MiddlebeltDavid
Awful grocery store. Far too busy after they closed the Garden City location a few miles away. Not enough registers open, all self checkout kiosks. Bottle return machines barley work when they are working. The floor is not even level by those machines, so your cart will roll away from the machine if your not holding it there. I would give this place 0 stars if I could!
Not happy with any krogers at this time since they closed garden city store. Over crowded, awful parking, no one can find anything so everyone is wandering around in everyones way! And to top it off prices are more at these stores... making me a Wal-Mart & Meijer shopper any I hate to shop there, but I will just for the principle of it! Cant give half a star, wish I could post with NO stars at all
I can never find anything. Every time I go, no matter what time they have boxes or carts in the way of what I need. Although it seems as if they are always stocking half the time they are out of what Im looking for. The only plus side of this store is the employees are super nice.
Employees are great however if you need help from a manager becareful they dont know how to talk to or help customers(or at least the one on duty tonight 8-12-17). Only customer service seems to be able to do that. I was over charged, when I inquired about it I was told I would have to wait for a manager who was not in the store and customer service had just left for the night. My only option was to come back or get another item. As a customer I dont think I should have to return for a refund when I never left the store in the first place. I understand a new system and all but as a parent who shops every couple of weeks I wont be back for awhile and would most likely forget about the over charge... Just an fyi to others make sure everything is right and only show up when customer service is open otherwise you will have to return to fix your issue.
Nothing wrong with this Kroger I just like the one down the street at Ford and Middlebelt. Ive been going there since they built that shopping center for that Kroger and I even worked there as a teenager. I know where everything is at the Kroger a mile south that theyre closing but I guess Ill have to learn this stores layout.
Jenny in the flower department is just awesome I have used her for years. Daughters wedding, birthdays and the most recent, balloons and flowers for my youngest daughters grad party, not to mention balloons and flowers for birthdays, funeral .... she does a great job I I can just call and tell her what I need and pick it up and it always looks perfect.
This place is too overcrowded now that the GC one has closed. You can no longer shop in peace. It is like a game of bumper cars and dodgeball in there. They are always out of stock on several things. The parking spaces are too small so if you have to load your car from a side door FOGET about it!
I just wanted to say thanks to Krogers I really like shopping there and I really enjoy all your employees that you hire with the disabilities that makes my day puts a smile on my face theyre always friendly and I enjoy going there and I go there just for that just to see these people cuz they make my day God bless you and keep up the good work thank you mister Murrell
The store is out of a lot of sale items. I believe the store is small to where you cannot carry extra . .The parking lot is dangerous because the store is always busy. When corporate closed the other store you were down to 2 stores in the area and both are busy. I find that I always end up at Meijer, up the street.
Worst thing ever took 30 min for a .60 cent transaction that was never completed I left my own money in the store because of the extremely long wait time and by far thee worst kroger I have been too yet the costumer help desk was the opposite of its tittle. Think Ill drive an extra mile to another location then deal with the frustration I was also rudely pushed to the back of the line and was shown no attention even when asking direct questions and the store was not that busy the cashier also let many new costumes ahead of myself needless to say I left in disappointment in the store and services.
I only live a couple blocks from this Kroger.. so I tend to shop here.. however id be better off driving the distance somewhere else as they never have stock on the shelves.. twice I have done the clicklist and didnt get half the stuff I wanted due to out of stock.. So doing clicklist didnt save me any time since I had to go back both times with different dinner ideas for the week.. It is crowded since closing GC kroger.. I will also agree with most of the other reviews about the deli staff being rude and act like you are bothering them.. But some of the cashiers up front are awesome and super friendly..
As always krogers is a wonderful for one stop shopping that not only has groceries but also a pharmacy, flowers, special occasion items (valentines day, Easter, birthday decorations, etc) and a butcher/seafood isle, and all at convinient prices, but recently this Kroger has taken on major renovations so its a little harder to find certain items but the Kroger staff will gladly help you find what you need. I dont think the pharmacy is IP and operational yet but Ill update once it is; their over the counter medications are readily available though.
Too much going on at the store. They have wood piled up outside the store which does not allow you to walk past that you have to walk out into the parking lot to get around it. They have vendors in the store of pretending to give away coupons when in reality just trying to sell subscriptions. The store is crowded and very hard to move around.
The store is a mess. You should have closed it down and did the remodel. Its ridiculous running all over the store to find stuff. Just put my groceries away and I missed getting quite a few things. On a good day this store is poorly stocked...not going back for a while.
Hi stop at this Krogers for the first time since Middlebelt Krogers in Garden City! My Husband & I drink Mountain Dew! There were no 8pk 16oz on the shelf! Ask Courtesy Desk to help me out to check if there was any in the back! Waited quite awhile! None!!! I hope that this isnt a sign of this Krogers running out of things, since I dont like the Krogers on Ford Rd in Dearborn Heights! Kinda Bummed about this!! The Bottle return area is disgusting!!!
Unfortunately for the first time in my 61 years on Earth I was eMobile I needed to use a cart motorized cart that did not work well was inconvenient to use your employees said they did not know how to use it and my whole experience was awful you need to explain to your Kroger employees how the cart Works they have the carts plugged in correctly and to be sympathetic to people who have suffered and a mobile event

2022-03-31The most sufficient customer service with sense of urgency and consideration for time you will receive on a Wednesday night is at the Self Scan…what does that say? Go to Aldi, the prices are much better and it is worth bagging your own groceries as you do it here at Kroger almost if the time anyway even while in a regular line. Aldi’s staff is nicer and the parking is better/safer.

2022-06-16They have a rude and lazy quality of service. I saw them making certain staff members do more work than others while they aren’t helping. That store needs professional help.

2022-05-15Dont buy produce from this Kroger. Every year we get fruit flies like no ones business from buying produce from Kroger because they do NOTHING to keep them off all the produce. Its frankly disgusting.

2021-12-09I was running late heading back from a family event, the website said that this kroger was open until 10 pm. I got there at 9:52 pm with my 9 month old son after finding out our dog had shredded our last pack of diapers when we had gotten home, so I rushed to Kroger around the corner from me. There was an employee physically stopping me from entering the store by locking the door. It turns out their managers tell employees they actually close at 9:50 pm so they can get home quicker. I work in the service industry and simply cant believe a store can say theyre open and deny customers service.

2021-10-11I shop at this Kroger 1-2 times every single week. All the staff have a pleasant & professional disposition. Unfortunately, after 3 plus years of having a pleasant shopping experience, one new employee by the name of Emmy, has altered that experience for me. She is extremely rude, emotional and needs quite a few trainings on effective communication with customers and how to handle customers asking questions. Somehow she believes refusing to answer a customer’s simple question is appropriate. You can teach and train a skill NOT attitude and character. In 3 years I’ve NEVER had a clerk tear open my bag of kale and lay the scanner directly on my kale/bar code. It was unsanitary, rude and simply ridiculous. And to have another encounter 2 weeks later is a bit much. This situation needs to be handled because I KNOW I am not the only person who has had this experience. Everyone is going through something. But There is NO good reason or excuse to be attitudinal and disrespectful and point your finger at a customer. Especially not one like myself who spends on average $400 or more a month. I am happy to say that the front store Mgr, Advika was VERY kind and understanding. There are many cashiers who are super friendly, namely Michaela and many others that I see literally every week. I hope management handles this.

2021-12-08There are so many reasons why this Kroger is terrible. The produce is wilted, the shelves are a mess, they close 10 minutes early everyday, the aisles are severely cluttered, etc. However, the final reason I wont be back is one woman who works the self checkout. She is consistently rude, slow, and frankly tactless. She harasses me if I come more than twice a week (I live next door and buy fresh produce frequently.) Today she accused me of stealing and went through all of my bags only to realize she was wrong. I will be notifying corporate tomorrow because the managers are non-existent at this location.
