I needed a recording studio for my author who lives in Michigan. I emailed Ian, he got us all set up, did the recording of her reading the book and edited the audio book for me as well. Super pro. Would hire again.

2021-04-23Wow! Such a cool space! Owner Ian Gorman runs an incredibly fun and respectful crew, and operates a very high quality company. He listens intently during production, and has serious speed and technical facility as an engineer. Ian ensures that your creativity and productivity happen efficiently and with great care. The sounds he gets on his collection of mics is simply stellar.Ive had the pleasure of recording with Ian @ LLR&S in three different groups now, on five separate occasions. Each time has proved better than the last, and thats something hes committed to. I professionally recommend this studio all the time!Bonus feature: booths have huge windows as well as TV monitors for max visibility, and (get this) programmable, color-coordinated lights throughout the entire space. Trippy!

2018-11-27Got an album mastered with Ian at La Luna recently. It was a great experience. Ians work was fantastic and the price was very fair. Also, his studio is full of vibey analog gear. Looks like a very fun place to record!

2020-10-22This place is sweet! Best set up I have ever seen for live recording with a band. So much cool tech that he works with! A great sound for jazz and classic feel. So far best place in Kalamazoo!

2018-10-31La Luna is the real deal. Their gear selection is vast, and they know how to use it. Ian mastered my album Stepladders, and Ive worked with him on many other projects over the years. Ive always been extremely impressed with his well-organized workflow and constant attention to the small details.

2018-10-31La Luna is, hands down, the best recording studio in SW MI. Owned and operated by Ian Gorman, the space is expansive and gorgeous, the equipment top notch, and the experience- unforgettable. Ive never felt more comfortable or at home when recording music than I do at La Luna. The very best!
