La Michoacana in other cities:
Best authentic asada tacos in town!! Will not be going to tacos el caporal or cunado now that Ive found this place - the food is better and you get it much, much quicker. Not to mention they actually answer the phone! Husband spoke with the owner and shes a total gem.You can seriously taste the love in these tacos, its a no brainer. Plus they sell ice cream!
Weekday carry out, Just like family//A family owned local business where you are one of the familyWhat I like: The people, good food//Recommendation: great for takeout//My favorites: Chicken sopes, tacos, tamales, supreme chicken nachos, the red sauceIn a family run business a parent might be cooking all weekend, a teen may answer the phone, (or not lol), or they may have short supply due to factors beyond their control.Neighborhoods and families supporting each other gives us some of the best components of life. Be human. Be patient. Come back. I always know we are one of the family when I do come in.
This is what makes going to a small business so much fun. People who make their own ice cream, know and love the process, and love telling their customers about it. They are happy to give samples and answer questions. Their ice cream tastes very fresh and the flavors are bold and innovative. I tried a tamale on a weekend and it, too, was delicious. My only recommendation would be some good music instead of a TV.
I found the food to be the best in Wyoming. The service was great. The prices are great. Thanks for the delious food. It was fantastic.Today is 9-6-19 and i just trued the dessert and it was fantastic. I wanted more even when it was gone. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. It is by far the best mexican restaurant in town.
I had mangonadas from this place several times. Today I went to the location for the very first time.I was greeted. The place was clean and welcoming. They have a menu that is straight forward! Although if you are curious to know what ingredients each item has, you should ask.Great selection on food and icecream.I order a mangonada, corn on the cob (takis), and corn in a cup (takis). We payed 13$, not bad at all.Very nice staff ! We will definitely be back!
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I ever received in my life. I called last friday to make an order (keep in mind, the lady was also rude in the phone) & when I arrived to the restaurant, I did NOT recieved my order. I tried calling them several times to recieve my order, but I was sent straight to voicemail. That was just rude & unprofessional. Porfavor se quieren buen servicio, no vale la pena a llegar aquí para comer. Los clientes/customers se deben a tratar bien y con respecto. Translation: I said the customers should be treated nicely & with respect.
I made the mistake to go try out the competition...I had to come to La Michoacana to take away the bad taste out of my mouth and not just of the food but the customer service too...La Michoacana is hands down the best Ive had...I will definitely be back time and time again.
We have come here since 2016 with my family and they treat us very well always very kind !! For those who have complained about the boys who serve the customers, we ask and they are the children of the owners and they speak little Spanish, the basics ... and although they are very shy they always attend us well and fast. We must appreciate that they make the effort at least to speak our language with donkeys (with forgiveness but it is true) as we do not speak English well! They have never treated me with a bad face and have endured my complaints very professionally, with kindness and tmbn my children. I do not have to deal with bad faces and long lines like in other local Hispanic stores that we have gone. I liked that the menu is bilingual, very comfortable and reasonable prices. The food always very good and fresh. The ice cream is different but delicious and they have eccentric flavors that I have only envisioned in Mexico. I love the mangroves they make here and the tacos especially 😋 💯 recommended 👍🏻

2022-01-21I placed a carryout order for chorizo tacos and a chicken quesadilla. My order was supposed to be ready at 3:05p and no one checked me out until 3:36p. I dont know if they were short staffed but they just seemed unorganized.I really appreciate the owner calling me personally and apologizing for the long wait. She was very sweet. Apparently they are short staffed so I wanted to update my review. I think I will give this place another try.

2022-06-08Excellent!!! The steak we had at family gathering was phenomenal. Apparently the wonderful woman that helped me misunderstood me. I got seasoned taco meat. Still excellent. I hope to get the steak on my next visit

2018-11-06Its always a treat to go here. Love this place. So many ice cream flavors and options I had never heard of before. This place introduced me to Mexican ice cream and im hooked. I used to live about a mile away from here. It was a perfect excuse to take my Sunshine (my pup) on a walk, while trying to justify the ice cream. Give the Wyoming location a try, it wont disappoint! Also, try the mangonada if you line tamarind and enjoy tangy and sweet flavors.
