The first visit we made to the store, we were all over the facility and there almost an hour with no one ever asking us if we need assistance.A month later, we went back again and we were greeted by a very nice and knowledgeable sales lady Christine. She explained anything we needed, sat and chatted about the furniture, as well as life and ended up making a sale from us.We are completely satisfied so far, but our delivery wont be completed until next month.Will update once that is completed.
Walked in just as they were closing but Robert took the time to help us figure out the size and when the product would be available. He was very kind and courteous to us and never rushed us either. He is very knowledgeable of products too. We appreciated his help and would shop at the Canton Mi store again.
Our sales person Bob was absolutely the best. He was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and most importantly, he was not pushy or rushing!We purchased a new La-Z-Boy rocker/recliner from him and will be returning to purchase a new couch and love seat to complete new furniture for our family room.
Justin got us started and then set us up with Becca the designer. We went in just to look because I wanted a recliner and ended up buying our living room and dining room set. If it wasnt for them walking us through it we never would have thought to buy all those pieces at lazy boy. Our experience was amazing. Becca spent a lot of time with us knowing it was a big decision was very patient and walked us through the whole thing. Were also very impressed by how lazy boy backs their furniture with guarantees and how we were able to find solid wood and sturdy furniture that would last. Becca even helped me design my own custom lazy boy recliner! Something I never would have thought I could afford to do. I highly recommend this store I cant say enough good things and do not have one bad thing to say. Visit the store. You wont be sorry.
Beautiful furniture, and you can design it to your own style. But, if you need help be sure to have Becca or one of their designers come to your house so they can get a sense of who you are and what you would like/need. Becca was amazing and so helpful. The follow up appointment was so much fun. Thank you Becca and the team for all your help in designing my dream living room :)

My Wife and I dealt with Laura while visiting the canton store. We had an excellent experience trying out different chairs, and were walked through the various options we had while customizing our purchase. Shortly after making our purchase we received a hand written letter from Laura as well. My wife and I have purchase furniture at different stores before, but never received such wonderful service!!!
Katy was absolute fantastic. The store had every option I could want to consider. Going into furniture stores can be a bit overwhelming and sales people can be overbearing. Katy had a perfect approach to make sure I was comfortable and knew my options. This will be my first stop in the future when shopping for furniture.
It was a pleasure shopping at La-Z-Boy in Canton! Our sales representative, Paul, was very helpful without being “pushy” as often is the case in other furniture stores. I also appreciated his patience as I took time to determine what we wanted in the way of materials for our new pieces! I highly recommend this store for quality and great customer service.

Our sales associate Katie was great, even with the store being super busy she was always there to help and answer any questions, and made the buying process super easy. I loved that there were so many options to choose from when it came to designing our sectional couch. I can’t wait to see how it turns out. My experience with La-Z-Boy in Canton, MI was outstanding. Justin and Christine helped me every step of the way, from discussing possible options to ordering my sofa. They kept me updated on the order and made sure delivery was prompt. Rebecca also was so kind when I needed some extra assistance. I am delighted with the quality of my sofa and would highly recommend working with the amazing staff at the Canton, MI La-Z-Boy. They truly want to assure the satisfaction of their customers.
This was like being a guest on a T.V. home makeover show - so much fun and personalized to me! We met John M. at the store. He offered to do a free in-home design consultation and it was amazing! He came to our home and brought swatches I had picked out at the store so I could see how they would look in each room. I had a color scheme picked out already. John got a feel for my spaces and he gave me excellent advice on how to create a put-together feel in my entire home. He also showed me how to highlight existing architecture and create interest in every room. He showed me additional furniture and lighting that would work well in each space that I hadnt thought of before. I am excited to implement his vision for my home!
Walked in the door and was helped quickly by Katie. Told her what I was looking for and she took me right to the chair I wanted. Katie went over all the particulars and told me a few other things I didnt learn from my online homework before I went to the store. Katie was great and helped me with a few other featers I didnt know about. She made picking out my chair, the fabric and the extras very easy.
Called lazy boy customer service on 3 occasions. Each time I waited for 30 minutes and was never able to reach a representative. Figured I would at least give them the chance to respond. On 6/16/22, rather than drive half a block to make a proper turn (for a large truck) the driver decided to make a wide turn through part of my front yard. He left a 16 foot rut that goes 8 inches deep. My wife was in the front yard at the time. They made eye contact and he took off. Already spent 1.5 hours on the phone and now I’m looking at 3-4 hours of work to repair the damage. My thoughts are if La-Z-boy customer representatives don’t answer the phone, La-Z-boy workers damage your property while your watching. What will they do when your not looking. To make things worse the delivery wasn’t even for me but I now have extra work and more time wasted!
At the store customer service is amazing, however the moment you leave. It is none existent.An order was placed Dec 2021 with a delivery of March 2022, 31st of March I call to be advised it would be arriving April, 30th of April I call again to be advised it will be May. We get a $85 discount (barely 2%).....that we had to go in to complain for.May comes around and 2/3 of the couch is scheduled for delivery Mid-June, and the 3rd section is stuck at the warehouse. It is now approaching mid June, and they have no clue when the 3rd section is going to pass the warehouse.Meanwhile, they have the money, there is not a single notification process in place and it is all up to the customer (whos already paid) to chase up continuously for updates on their goods. I asked if there is a possible notification process and each time the individual on the line has actually laughed and stated We dont even get notified. Nor is there any estimated time line for the item to clear the warehouse?High class furniture, top class comfort, price, with awful customer care.
Our visit to the La-Z-Boy store in Canton, Michigan was amazing! We use the company website to research products before visiting the store. We had 3 styles that we wanted to consider. The website configurator helped take the guesswork out of the equation as we knew the layouts of the sectionals would fit in our space.Upon arriving at the store we were greeted by Christine who helped us on our journey. She was able to highlight the high-end quality associated with the brand. She was definitely there when we had questions but gave us enough space to look and experience the showroom on our own. During the visit we also had an opportunity to meet with an interior design consultant who reviewed th cove options and related service plans.Both the store manager (Nyland) and Christine were thorough in preparing the cost summaries.In the end we elected the Meyer Sectional with Tempur Cushions in leather. This is our second La-Z-Boy purchase in 6 months!We are happy to be living life comfortably thanks to La-Z-Boy. We will certainly return again soon!!!
Laura was a wonderful sales representative for Lazy Boy. I have 4 broken ribs and need to sleep sitting up. She wS very timely and knew what size and type of chair would be comfortable for me. Within 45 minutes we were able to relax. I am keeping my fingers crossed that the chair gets delivered Asap.Thank you for your service.The Swartzs
I can see why Katie Long is one of the top Lazy Boy sales associates in the country! I went in with an idea of what I wanted and she gave me the space to look around until I saw it. Her expertise helped me pull it all together and I couldn’t be happier! I’m looking forward to doing more business with Katie in the future.
Rebecca did a great job showing us computer images of how we could arrange new furniture after measuring our livingroom. Christine and Rebecca spent time showing us different furniture options. Was able to place our order over the phone without any issues. Highly recommend this place.
Delivered a part of our sectional couch, missing a piece, and wouldn’t work with us on when the new piece would be delivered. We’ve called several times and have never received a return call. Not one. Furniture is fine (the pieces we’ve received, at least) but the customer service here is abysmal. Try another location if at all possible. Will not be returning to this store.
Well made furniture at La-Z-Boy. We also used the free design service with Rebecca. She was very knowledgeable, came to our home to measure and was very helpful. Laura was our sales rep and we sat in a LOT of furniture and she kept notes for us. We ended up getting a Trouper power reclining sofa and a loveseat with a chaise and console divider in warm brown. The bonus was we got 35% off for presidents day! We ended up paying more than we expected, but have family members who had couches and recliners for over 20 years still in great condition. It is still being made, but we cant wait to get it! Once we both sat on the Trouper, nothing else compared.
Enjoyed my visit at this location. Katie U. was my consultant and although she was waiting on multiple people, I never felt neglected. It actually gave me the necessary time to mull over my decisions and color choices. Now I just have to wait for the chair to come in, patience are in order but I do understand the reasoning behind the wait.Added 12/22/21: I received notification that my recliner was ready for delivery considerably earlier than expected. Absolutely everything in their communication was flawless. I couldn’t be more pleased with my purchase from start to finish.
My husband and I were looking for a Recliner (2) for our Den. He has always wanted to purchase it from Lazy Boy.We enter in the store and was greeted by Laura, her personality /demeanor was so personal. I had question after question and there was No questions after questions and Laura gave No indication that I was getting on her last nerve 😊.We were there for two hours or more before we made the final decision.
Great experience at Lazy Boy Furniture today with sales person Katie Umlauf!!! Would highly recommend! No high pressure sales pitches just layed low and answered questions as needed. We found the perfect sofa for our needs!!! Thank you Katie, cannot wait until Tuesday!!!
I ordered my chair in September of 2021 & was told that it would be delivered in October by the salesman. When it was not delivered by late October l called the store & was told that assembly was delayed, but it was being assembled at that time & would be delivered in December. I called again at the end of December & again delivery was put off to February. I called in mi February & learned it was still being assembled & would be delivered sometime in March. Everytime l call l am lied to & have been waiting for more than 6 months for my chair. The worst customer care l have ever had.
When we first arrived at the Canton LaZboy, Katie was there to greet us and offer assistance but gave us plenty of space to explore the showroom on our own and at our own comfort level. She was friendly and available when we had questions but never pushy when she checked in with us. She definitely helped a lot going through the various options available. We opted to get a designer to help look at our living room space. Our designer Becca was fantastic and so nice. She offered us additional fabric options to look at in our home and really took note of our space. She reproduced it beautifully giving us a really great idea of how things would look in our room. Becca was careful and detail oriented to make sure we were getting exactly what we had selected out. Both Katie and Becca were so informative, friendly, and helpful that the whole experience was great.
We received our sectional after working with the designer and team in the Canton, Michigan store. The design software helped make sure we were able to purchase a piece that fit. I do have family that works for the company, but this was a first purchase for us. It was fantastic.Recommend!!!
This store has the most amazing staff and furniture selection. When the other sales team members were free they helped entertain my 2.5 yo and 15 month old. My son was sitting on every chair and had a blast greeting new customers. My daughter smiled and colored while I picked out my new furniture set with a designer. Had a wonderful experience and so excited to get my new living room set.
I am incredibly angry and frustrated at the quality of product I received from Lazboy. We ordered a chair and sectional in early September and just received our chair (Feb. 9.). It’s for our second home, so we didn’t set it up until Feb 12. It’s Feb. 14 today, and we have barely sat in the chair and it is broken. While laying back, the particle board frame on the back of the chair snapped, also tearing the fabric. We now have regrets of purchasing our couch through them because of the low quality. We spent over $5,000 on furniture here. Before it was broken, the seams were not symmetrical and not high quality, like Lazboy promotes. Because we waited so long, we were willing to accept it, but now being broken after 3 days of use, this is unacceptable. We are extremely disappointed with our lazboy product. We thought Lazboy was quality. What a disappointment.Update: The manager at this location has rectified the issue with our chair and we love our couch so far.

Canton very helpful and patient with all the choices.5 star product warranty for added fee.30% off price discount. at this time.High end products made in USA. Pricey but worth it. 4-7 month delay to get products is negative, bringing down to 4 star.
I had a wonderful experience buying a recliner from Katie at the Canton La-Z-Boy location. She was extremely helpful and professional when it came to assisting me in the process of choosing and explaining between all of the choices of different functions in the recliners that I purchased. She made the experience effortless and I would highly recommend her.

No in such a good mood about a sleeper sofa that was priced at over two grand. Well my sofa is darker than what I picked out. The pillows are the same color. After going through multiple patterns. Pick what I thought would be part of my color scheme. Only to be told that’s extra. What did I pay for and choose. It’s funny the sales lady called to check on my order. I told her it was wrong / she said she would have to check my order. Why are you trying to explain a mistake you made. I have yet to go back to complain. Mattress so thin. Maybe it’s so people that stay over will never return. Not pleased at all. It did come 4 months early. Maybe that’s why I got a different sofa. Yet she said the lights could be the problem.
We didnt make a purchase, so I cant share that part of the experience, but the service was, at best, indifferent - the staff was busy talking amongst themselves and they basically told us to look online and tell us what we wanted. I would have done that without their brilliant suggestion if I werent looking for guidance.
I had a great experience shopping for furniture at La-Z-Boy in Canton, Michigan. The sales associate Katie Long was truly wonderful to work with. She helped me figure out exactly what I was looking for, even though I wasnt really sure myself when I first walked into the store. I had some idea but just couldnt put it together until Katie made a few suggestions. She has great taste in colors, shapes and how to put it all together to look fantastic. La-Z-Boy furniture is so comfortable, built to last and stylish. I am so very happy with everything. Thank you Katie for making furniture shopping so much easier and fun too. :)
Love the furniture but not the service. Was supposed to be delivered Oct.30 no one ever showed up or called. I had to call Monday and found out it was put on the wrong truck. Waited 3 more weeks for it to get back to warehouse in Ohio and paperwork re done. Was to be delivered on Nov.20. Again waited all day, no show, no call. Found out on Monday it was never put on the truck the time. After numerous phone calls it was finally delivered on Nov.27. I’ve been a loyal customer for over 25 years, but I don’t know after this if I still will be.
This was the quickest time we ever picked out furniture. We walked in and Katie Umlauf greeted us at the door. We gave her an idea of what we were looking for and she pointed out a beautiful recliner and we didnt need to look at anything else. It was exactly what we were looking for. We went to a couple other furniture stores that day and didnt get the service Katie gave us, plus she is not a pushy salesperson. We hate furniture shopping because we feel pushed and bothered by the sales people. She was fun to work with. She knew the store and where everything was, so it made our visit quick and efficient. Our only sad thing is having to wait so long to have it custom made. I understand that is no fault of La Z Boy, it is the shortage of workers and materials that is going on in our world right now. We will definitely use them again in the future.
Ordered a new recliner on 5/30, with a delivery window of late July/early August. When I hadnt heard anything by 8/5, I called the store and was told that there was a new delivery window of late August/early September. Absolutely no communication from the store about the delay; I had to contact them. No apology, no inconvenience offer like waiving the delivery fee or even halving the delivery fee, no nothing. Salesperson said he would call me back after he talked with someone to see if maybe the delivery date could be pushed up at all. I never heard from anyone again, until 8/27 when I received a call to set up a delivery date. Of course, the first available was almost a week later. Then the delivery guys wouldnt take the old chair away, saying, We dont do that. If you like not having any communication regarding your purchase, youll LOVE this store!
I loved the excellent service and quality furnishings available. I wish items were in stock, or could be delivered faster, but my personal wait time was not too bad- approximately 2 months.If you prefer a knowledgeable, helpful, non-pushy salesperson, ask for Katie at the Canton location. She was amazing!
We had a great experience at the Canton store. KatieUmlof did a very nice job. We wanted something right away, so she checked what was in stock before she presented the choices to us. It made our decision quick and easy. She was very thorough and knowledgeable about what was available. I would not hesitate to recommend Katie Umlof and the Canton store when shopping La-Z- Boy!
Katie and Kamal were a both very helpful and took great care of me and my husband. Kamal started us out going through all the different furniture options and helping us to pick out our favorite styles and material. On our final trip, Katie picked up right where Kamal left off since we happened to pick a day that he was out. She helped us narrow down our decisions and all the final choices to complete our order. They both worked as a great team, friendly and knowledgeable, and we would positively recommend either or both of them. We will definitely return to the Canton store again!
I stopped into the Canton, MI store and was quickly greeted by Katie Umlauf. She asked several questions to better understand my needs and gave several suggestions on which sofas would work best. She did a thorough job explaining the differences in fabrics and cushion materials. She was a joy to work with! I highly recommend her and plan to work with her again on any future orders!
Went to get new couches for our living room. La-Z-Boy had a lot of great, nice, quality options and everyone who was working there was attentive and answered any questions we had. Katie helped us get exactly what we wanted when we picked out our set that did not have the exact loveseat option we were hoping for by taking us over to the in-store design center. While we were in the design center Katie was super knowledgeable about the fabric options and was super patient with us as we went back and forth between some of the choices. In the end she made sure we had everything the way we wanted it and made sure we understood what would be happening next in the process of having the couches designed for us. If you are looking for quality furniture with a lot of great options La-Z-Boy is a great place to look!
Service!!! Not bogus sales stalking like other places.This was a return visit after getting a chair the year before. Kimberly, our sales associate, not only remembered us the moment we walked in, but remembered quite a bit of our conversation the previous year. That was outstanding and made us feel wonderful. Then, she followed up with making sure that we got the best deal and matching the previous years price on an identical chair. But that was not all! The chair that we wanted was on display, and Kimberly went to the manager to request that we be able to take the floor model since we were motivated. The manager was not only gracious enough to accept, but she helped bring the chair out. This is the way all furniture places should be like!RETURNING 3rd TIME!! Kati was ALSO EXCELLENT!!! Our experience was awesome. From Jason the sales person, to Becca the interior designer to the awesome delivery guys. I only got 1 guys name from the delivery, Donald. What an amazing human being. Both were so polite and efficient.We loved that Becca came to our house to take measurements and let us see a 3d set up with our new furniture.The wait was not bad at all. Only a few months but it was custom made.We LOVE our new furniture. So beautiful and comfortable.Thank you Lazy Boy.

I went into the store with the idea of what I wanted. It was difficult deciding on which chair. So much awesome quality furniture. Customer service was excellent. Laura T was the sales associate. She was very professional, knowledgable and very pleasant. She made the shopping experience delightful. I purchased three chairs and will definitely return to purchase additional furniture.
I was very satisfied with my shopping experience at this store. Stanley is absolutely amazing and knows his job in depth. He is very friendly and patient and will work hard towards customer satisfaction. He took all the time in the world explaining everything and especially in a language customers understand. He showed me the best options for me and answered all my questions. Most importantly he is honest and and won’t try to scam you just to sell you things. If you need good furniture THIS is the place to go and Stanley is the man to see! I recommend him 100%!

Angelo (sales Mgr) provided the best furniture shopping experience we ever had. He was very knowledgeable, confident, assuring and friendly sales professional. Lazy Boy is lucky to have him working on their team. Even with the long turn around time to deliver the couch (7 Mo) which Angelo had nothing to do, with we trusted him 100%.
We utilized the design consultant who was able to get us furniture that worked well in our room. We have not received it all yet as there was a 5-6 month delay. She told us that up front. Only 3 stars because we didn’t even know part of our order was in until I called the store months later. When the lamps did arrive there was a piece missing. We have not gotten any updates on when to expect our furniture.
Rebecca , interior designer, was wonderful to work with. Her in home visit was most welcome, and with her help, I feel that I have a nicely coordinated furniture set ( style and materials, including helping me coordinate new carpet). It is so obvious that she loves her job. I can’t wait to get my new furniture!
My sales associate was fine but I was seriously annoyed that the picture of the chair on the website did not reflect the price shown beneath it. The fabric on the website was a cream and the only fabric available at that price was a light green. It was an additional $200 to get any fabric except the light green. It certainly seemed like a bait and switch to me.
Excellent customer service! Katie listened to every specification we had, offered opinions and advice, and ultimately helped us find the perfect recliner that worked best for us. I really appreciated how much she listened and came up with solutions. 10/10 will return for future furniture!

I had called the store late Friday and spoke to Katie and she was very pleasant and spent a long time with me on the phone looking up different recliners and when they would arrive.I told her I would come in on Saturday morning and look at the recliners we had discussed. she was there ready to show me what we had discussed. She seemed very knowledgeable and was helpful in showing me a number of other recliners.I was happy with the service I received and purchased a recliner at a good price and Hope to have it by the end of May
We had a great experience. The salesperson was respectful of our space and wasnt pushy. We actually bought more than we planned just by her gentle suggestions and advise. I will definitely make La-Z-Boy my new favorite p!ace for home furnishings as well as furniture.
My fiancée and I were greeted at the door by Katie who assisted us with our recent purchase- the couch was extremely comfortable, and the purchase process was without pressure or unnecessary upselling. Katie was able to improve our choice of sofa by suggesting upgrades relevant to what we actually wanted, and we should we find a need to purchase another sofa we will certainly return.

I am extremely happy with my couch. It was made to order. Brett Johnson did a wonderful job assisting me. I was told it would take approximately 6 months to receive my sofa due to COVID. My couch was delivered, set up and all packaging & coverings removed exactly 6 months after ordering. I am extremely happy!
Our Sales Rep, Kamal B., was very friendly and helpful. He displayed patience and a positive outgoing demeanor. All our questions were thoroughly answered to our satisfaction. I was looking for a recliner to replace my 12 year old La-Z-Boy recliner. Now I am 76 years old and have several ailments and needed a recliner with massage and heat. I called around and La-z-boy had exactly what I needed. Our sales person Kate was extremely knowledgeable about my needs but also showed me alternatives. Lazy Boy in Canton is a great shopping experience due to the ease of moving through the store and the friendly staff. The sales associate who helped me was Katie. She really knows the product which made her a dream to work with! I highly recommend her and this location. Ill be sure to return as my needs arise.
My dad is battling stage 4 cancer, and struggling to get comfortable. I called La-Z-Boy of Canton to find my dad a recliner, and Nyland and Laura were immensely helpful and accommodating. They understood the urgent need for me to get a chair same-day, and sold me chair off the floor. When I got the chair home and realized my dad was too weak to pull the lever to recline it, they allowed me to exchange it for a Lift chair even though I had signed paperwork expressing my understanding that it was a final sale. Nyland said his main concern was my dad’s comfort. I am immensely grateful!
I have been looking for new chairs for quite a long time and couldnt make a choice. I was in your store several times and Katie and the other salesman, I think that his name was Justin, helped me to make a choice. I love Lazy Boy furniture and am looking forward to getting our new chairs.
The shopping and delivery process was great but the quality is not quite what I expected. The structure of the chair seems fine but the fabric installation is loose and has some creases that shouldn’t be there. Not sure it will hold up like my last chair that I’ve had for 20+ years and I paid a lot more for it
Was not planning on doing anything but looking. Within 10 min had purchased couch, loveseat and 2 accent chairs. I fell in love with the chairs, and found couch and loveseat that would compliment the chairs. Excellent service, and I couldn’t have been more pleased with the quality and price. Furniture is hard to find these days with covid labor shortages and supply chain delays. This store found me what I needed in another state and arranged quick shipping. Very pleasant shopping experience with great salesperson. Only 4 rating due to stock shortages, but that aint really the individual stores fault.
Was told our order would take 12-14 weeks, NO communication that the order was pushed out to 16 weeks, and to 20 weeks, had to call again to find it would be 26 weeks. Finally delivered mid-july, was given 3 different delivery times via phone and text. Was to be white glove delivery, ha! Sofa was put together wrong and still waiting for customer service to call with a time for a rep to come out. Paid way too much to have this kind of service and have a sofa that is put together like an Ikea product.
I am currently in dispute with La-Z-Boy over the poor design and manufacture of 2 Hayes rocker recliners that each have only one arm fully covered. If your people can remember I was in your store shortly after delivery to complain about the sharp board edges digging into our sides. Their service dept. is much to be desired as they would not even answer the phone from your salesperson who also sent them an e-mail. after numerous attempts I tried to reach them they finally sent a rep after two months who just came in, fluffed up the cushions and took pictures. After another two months they finally called and said they were built to design and would do nothing. When I threatened court action they offered $180 refund which I refused so they know that I have a just claim but they just want to fluff it off.I bought these for comfort which they are not. This is not the end. So much for their lousy service that is why they almost bankrupted before,
Although because of our upcoming move out of state she couldnt order furniture for us, our salesperson Christine went out of her way to gather all the information on the recliners, priced with the additions, and told us the order procedure. Becca, the designer, also helped us choose the best color. Thanks to both for their extra customer service!
Personal attention from salesperson who took time to listen to my preferences and showed me all options available for what I was looking for . A recliner chair to replace the 28 year old Lazy Boy recliner I recently sold due to moving. After almost 1 1/2 hours she wrote up my order for my custom made recliner . Custom made because I chose the design , style , fabric , color and features . I have to wait for several months to get my chair but it will be extra special since I had it custom designed.I went to other furniture stores which did offer cheaper reclining chairs but I had only a choice of limited colors of the same fabric . Couldnt even get extra fabric to protect armrests !At 72 years old I deserve to treat myself to the real deal, the one and only Lazy Boy recliner chairs . It will be my reading, napping chairs for the rest of my life . Thanks LB for still providing a quality product. Looking forward to receiving my new chair

My husband and I went to the Canton, Michigan La-Z-Boy store to look for living room furniture . Stanley helped us, He did not put pressure on us and answered my husband’s questions regarding the quality of the furniture pieces we liked. We decided on a set and that’s when Stanley referred us to Becca. Well, this was the beginning of a wonderful business relationship. Becca is their designer who helps customers create and design pieces that will fit and enhance their room. We have a smaller living room and needed ideas to use the space in the best way possible.She came to our house to measure and create what would fit in our living room. We had an appointment to meet with her at the store to go over the details. She listened very closely to our ideas and how she could meet them. She was able to choose and create a sectional couch with recliners and another chair that would fit perfectly! I have never experienced such professionalism and care from a business like this ever! Bravo to La-Z-Boy for having this service to enable their potential customers the best buying experience possible. I am very happy with my lazy boy recliner. The updated style fits in well with a lot of different decors. The chair is super comfortable! Overall, I had a wonderful experience from picking out the chair all the way through delivery. I chose a lazy boy based on their reputation and I am so happy I did!
Katie was available to help me when I walked through the door. She made sure that I fit comfortably in the chair because I am so tall and explained the differences between the power recline, gilder, rocker etc. she also pulled a couple fabric pieces for me which helped to not be overwhelmed. This was my first purchase and I will definitely return for any future purchases and ask for Katie.
I found a great looking, comfortable sectional from La -Z-Boy in Canton, MI. The salesman, Justin, was friendly and patient. I never felt pressured to buy or upgrade in any way. My buying experience was perfect! I can’t wait until my sectional arrives and my family can enjoy sitting together.

Weve been La-Z-Boy customers for decades. It was time for some new recliners so we shopped around... we werent happy with the other stores, so we went back to La-Z-Boy.We were greeted by Christina C. We were very pleased to work with Katie at the Canton location. She jumped right in and helped us find the recliner we love. She also took us in the back room to compare leather shades to see a more natural light vs. the in-store lighting. Patience is key, and she was that. It took us awhile to decide on our leather vs. fabric options but when we settled on what we wanted, she was quick to get us an estimate. My only issue is waiting 8-10 weeks for the recliner to be delivered. That, obviously, isn’t her fault. We did customize it, so it’ll be worth it. Thanks Katie! We’ll be back.
We had a wonderful experience purchasing a sectional today with Stanley at the Canton, MI location. He was very knowledgeable and patient with our selection process. As we entered the store, Katie Long greeted us. We asked Katie which chairs were wall recliners. She showed us the wall recliners and informed us that there were other color and material choices but that would involve a delay in delivery. Katie let us browse the chairs on our own but stayed close enough to be available for questions. When we didn’t find what we were looking for, Katie discussed other types of recliners which had more color and material choices. With Katie’s excellent guidance, we chose two Talladega Power Rocker Recliners. We are very pleased with our experience at La-Z-Boy Canton and will share our experience with family and friends.
Found the quality and style of furniture I was looking for. Although due to Covid, like everywhere else it was a bit of a wait, it was so worth it. Its so comfortable and I was also very impressed with the delivery. The two men wore mask and were very friendly but also very professional. I have purchased from Lazy Boy in the past and would recommend them to anyone.
Before shopping in person at the Canton MI, location, I called the store the day before to ask a few questions regarding a rocker recliner we were interested in. Kamal in the sales department was really helpful, knowledgeable and suggested a couple of other models we may also want to look at with taller bases. We went the following day and Kamal helped us again with no pressure at all, letting us take our time to sample multiple chairs. We special ordered a leather chair but also purchased a floor sample in another style. When getting home we loved it so much we went right back to purchase another of the same. We have bought nothing but La-Z-Boy chairs in the past 35 years and will continue to do so!
Becca and Katie did an amazing job on configuring designs for the sitting area in our bedroom. Katie addressed my thoughts and concerns with colors, patterns and making the room feel complete. Becca addressed our curiosities on the different furniture options available and countless ways we can rearrange those pieces for that space. We’re so excited about the new chairs, table, framed painting and wall color. We already have them planned for our next project - the finished basement. Looking forward to working together again with these incredible women.

Our experience at La-Z-Boy in Canton was fantastic! We knew we wanted to get some quality pieces and had only heard the best about La-Z-Boy furniture so we thought we would check it out.We found everything we needed for our home, and the associates were incredibly helpful. We worked with Mai, who was extremely knowledgeable, and helped us custom build the perfection sectional for our home. They were upfront about delayed building/shipping due to COVID, and all around gave us the best service. I would 100% recommend purchasing furniture here to anyone who asked.
What a great service that This company provides. They were ready for us and had ideas and samples pulled! They used our house plans and decorating ideas to help create some ideas to get us started. The designer service was above and beyond. We hope our couch is as the service we received!
Stanley met my husband and I at the door. I already knew what I wanted from the website. Stanley wrote the whole order up for us promptly. Very friendly and helpful. We will definitely ask for him next time. I also wanted to mention that I liked the furniture even better in person than on the website. We were happy to hear that we only have to wait 6 weeks for delivery since we have heard stories from other people that they have to wait for months right now because of the pandemic.
My experience at La-z-Boy was excellent. All Covid protocols were being observed. The showroom was well lit and plenty of room to spread out. It was nice to sit in the chairs and our salesperson Katie was extremely helpful. She explained all of the options and that nearly all the chairs were customisable. She was also very upfront that some options would take more time and that it could be up to 6 months for the chair to be made. I ended up choosing a recliner that will be ready in May, but was able to get exactly what I wanted. Though I must say that the wall of fabrics is quite intimidating.
Furniture quality is great and very happy with how it looks in the space. I ordered 4 pieces the first week in January 2021, delivered end of May 2021. Long wait due to COVID. Not happy about delivery, one piece was lost in delivery, found on another truck at the end of the day and delivered to me the next day.
Great experience!!! The saleswoman was so helpful and really worked to understand our needs. We did not feel at all pressured, which, honestly, is why we decided to spend even more than what we were planning on. The next time we need something, were just going to skip shopping around, and head straight to La-Z-Boy!
The Staff was friendly and did not be over bearing and follow you throughout the store constantly. Stanley was great, he explained things with a positive attitude and again not pushy. The store was very clean and organized and staged well. The.swatch colors are all pretty much the same color tone. I was looking for a nice gold pasley scroll design, no luck. But I cant wait for my couch I ordered in blush rose. Christmas present to me!

Stanley was very knowledgeable and helpful. As I was picking out fabric , he showed me what the chairs would look like with the various samples I had chosen . He took the time to explain the wearability of the fabrics and explain the warranty that went with the furniture. La-z-boy is lucky to have Stanley at their store.
We had a great experience with Lazy Boy Canton. We scheduled an in home design session with Becca. She was the best. Very professional and knowledgeable. She showed up on time for appointment during a 8” snow storm.Her designs and suggestions were perfect she really knew the look we were going for.
Two days ago, my husband and I went to the Canton, Michigan La-Z-Boy store to replace an aging La-Z-Boy sofa. Stanley helped us find quality pieces that we liked. He was very attentive to our needs and very knowledgeable about the products in the store. Stanley referred us to Becca who modeled our living room with the new pieces we selected. We were able to select our colors and sectional combinations to fit our space. We have a small living room with a lot of furniture placement constraints. It was a wonderful shopping experience.We then stopped in again today to make changes to our previous furniture selections. During this visit Khuloud helped us; she is another designer that is on staff at the store. She had some wonderful ideas and directed us to several chairs that would complete our living room space. My wife and I went shopping for new furniture and were getting frustrated after having visited numerous retail locations. We decided to give Lay-z-boy a look and were shocked by the professionalism. When we entered the store we were greeted Khuloud who was expecting us from the appointment we had set. I handed Khuloud a scratch written diagram of the living room we were trying to place furniture within and she gave to here designer. Her designer (apologies for forgetting her name) drew up a sketch of our rom and placed the furniture we were looking at in different spots in our room. After about an hour of determining which fabric and color schemes we wanted, we accessorized by looking at rugs, lamps, and end tables. Everything seemed to fit in place with our vision of designing our perfect living room. We ended up purchasing almost everything we wanted. The whole experience was positive. I highly recommend anyone looking for furniture to shop at Lay-z-boy. Going above in beyond is my take away from the experience. Thank you to the staff that assisted in our purchase and those who waited until after store hours while we completed our transaction.
Called to ck on my March delivery on April 4, 2021. After navigating thru a somewhat unfriendly phone queue, an automated voice said that all associates were busy and to leave a message and someone would call me back. I did just that and it took from Monday to Thursday to get a return call. The person that called said were short staffed as the reason for the long return call time. She also told me that my furniture wont be out of production until mid-May...seriously. I asked if someone was goung to call me regarding the delay. Again, the response was no...we are short staffed. Horrible service all around. Ive asked for the store manager to call me...he wont be in until next Wednesday. For the cost of my furniture order, you would think La-Z-Boy would have better servicing skills!
We were allowed to look at our own pace and eliminate what we did not want and they were available for questions, if needed. We were then able to pick our fabric and what we wanted on our chair. The sales person was fabulous and had an excellent sense of design and she and I agreed on all of the choices. I am very pleased with the products and services available from Lazyboy and it was a more pleasant experience than from Ethan Allen.
My in store experience was welcoming but not overly pushy in making sales. The representative was not talking down about their competitors but acknowledged them too. La-z-y boy has a home design service where their designer comes to measure your space; they digitally draw it and show you how it looks with the furniture you’re considering. A nice service !
I found pretty much exactly what I was looking for, on sale and in stock. Laura was helpful and informative, but not pushy about warranties or up selling. It was a good sales experience, I hope the delivery will be equally good.Edit: The delivery was as good or better than the in-store experience. The delivery men were polite, considerate of cleanliness moving from my gravel driveway into the carpeted room where the chairs were to go, and very quick about their work. 10 of 10!

I Highly recommend this location!!! Mai was by far the best sale person I have ever dealt with. She was super patient and very knowledgeable on all the details of the chair we purchased. When we entered this location (Canton) Mai was ready to help in any way and was incredibly helpful with picking out the right chair for my mom. I will be returning to buy more living space furniture. The staff (sales team and manager) were so kind and professional I can’t recommend this place enough.
We were very impressed with Kamal’s knowledge of his product, and ability to make things happen to satisfy our needs. We both have mobility problems and require seating suited to our abilities. Lazyboy recliners have been our go-to “favorite-chairs,” in several styles, throughout our years. Keep up the good work, and continue with quality “Made in the U.S.A”

Justin at La-Z-Boy in Canton was wonderful in helping me pick out a recliner for my husband, who is 14 inches taller and 100 lbs heavier than I am. We found the perfect chair after I dragged him all over the store to sit in this chair and that chair, so I could gauge whether it would be a good fit for my spouse. It is, and he loves it!
Stanley was the first to greet us as we walked into the store. We did most of our research on the Lazy Boy Website, but we wanted to check out the furniture and get some questions answered prior to buying. Stanley was very helpful and was able to answer all of our questions with ease. We appreciated that he was not pushy or overbearing in his sales process. Despite the long lead time on delivery, we were pleased with our experience.
Russell was excellent! He took care of us from beginning to end. We customized a sectional and he was very patient and helpful. They are not pushy salesmen/women and they work within your budget to find the perfect piece of furniture for your space. We even took advantage of their free design services and were able to visualize our new furniture on the computer. I also want to note that we furniture shopped around for a while and found most stores to be expensive but lacked the quality in their furniture for those prices. Lazy Boy was the first place where the furniture looked nice and was well built. I will definitely come back to this Canton location when I need anymore furniture.

2022-03-06My wife needed a recliner with a remote because she was having shoulder surgery and wasnt going to be able to easily sleep in bed. Since we had a La-Z-Boy recliner already for the last 20 years, and the only ones with a remote anywhere else were lift chairs,m we decided to check out La-Z-Boy again. They had great selection and the only ones that had a wireless remote.Bob was fantastic at finding us what we want looking for.We loved it so much, we decided to get a second one to replace the old one. This time Laura helped us find the perfect chair.Both of them were great to work with and neither one pressured us. They were very patient and answered all of our questions.

2022-01-03From start to finish, our experience was great. They listened to what we want and need and they didnt try to steer us differently. They educated us on the various options, how the furniture is built, etc. There were no hard sales tactics. The design specialist was even able to come to our house that same day and then gave great ideas with visual aids to help us finalize our choices. Were excited to get our new custom furniture. I cannot speak more highly of Stanley, Becka and the entire experience.

2022-03-18I had a great experience shopping at the store. My sales representative was friendly and helpful. All of the furniture is so inviting to sit on. Much easier than shopping online. I am replacing another Lazy Boy sofa that I had for 16 years and absolutely loved. There are long lead times, but thats true in many places. I cannot wait for my new sofa to arrive!

Was there to answer every question we had while giving us space to look and try things out. She put some choices into their design software for us so that we could get an idea of what it would actually look like. Thought the product offerings and prices were spot on. 2022-06-27Laura (at the Canton location) spent a great deal of time with us. She answered all questions, explaining options, etc. I never at anytime felt rushed or pressured. I went in to shop/buy a sofa and ended the visit purchasing not only a sofa, but a recliner and sofa table. I’ve been looking around for several weeks and La-Z-Boy offered high quality furniture at comparable prices. This is my second La-Z-Boy sofa. Laura informed us of sale items and made the entire shopping experience pleasant and easy. I left feeling confident and very pleased with my experience and purchase. Thank you Laura!

2022-03-05I purchased my La-Z-boy recliner on Black Friday at a good sale price. They were already out-of-stock, so I agreed to order it at the sale price. I took delivery on 3/1/22. There was a tear in the material of the back right arm and a screw fell to the floor. I called the store I purchased it from and was told to accept delivery and immediately call the number they provided to schedule a repair because, if I wanted a replacement recliner it would take 6-9 months. So, I signed off with the delivery man and called to schedule the repairs. I was called back the next day and sent pictures to the Service Repair Associate. He was very prompt calling me back the same day, TY, and he is scheduled to replace the entire arm and will repair the spring stabilizer bolt for 3/31/22. I feel confident the repairs will be made. The recliner is very comfortable and matches my living room very well.

He approached me when I entered the show room and said if I needed help with anything to let him know.He didnt bother me at all which is unusual because at other furniture stores they follow you around like vultures. When I found what I wanted I contacted him and he came right over and explained everything about the furniture. I appreciated that from him andpurchased the furniture.He was very knowledgeable and professional.He is a very good salesman.

She was there as soon as we had any questions while respectfully giving us space to narrow down what we were looking for. Once we narrowed down what we wanted she made an informed suggestion that worked perfectly for us.
