This was the first new vehicle we have purchased from Labadie Toyota. Every aspect from the initial contact to when we drove off in the new Highlander Hybrid was excellent. The experience at Labadie Toyota was one of the best as I compared it to past dealerships we have dealt with. What did they do right: Our sales rep, Kyle, listened to what was important to us and found a vehicle in their allocation system. Great to negotiate with, resulting in a fair price that I felt good with, for the new vehicle and our trade considering the state of new/used car prices during the chip shortage. The new vehicle looked exceptional upon pickup and Kyle got us set up with our smart phones to Toyota Connect and then spent time going over new features and answering our questions. The process of the paperwork sign offs was also handled professionally and was well organized by their business manager to minimize our time completing it. So, yes I will strongly look at Labadie again when we are ready for our next vehicle.
Our salesman Kyle was awesome. He listened to our needs and was able to get us exactly what we needed. Even stayed late to make sure we were all set. Offered to stay even later to go over any features on our new truck that we may not understand. Definitely will recommend Labadie!
I called Mike Lavender on a Friday afternoon in a frenzy to get a certain car that weekend. I had never met him and knew nothing of the dealership, I just found them online. Mike was on it! He made everything come together for me and provided an amazing car purchase experience! I was driving home in my new vehicle Saturday at 1pm! I will continue to purchase from Labadie Toyota! What a great experience. They were willing to work on my towed-in car before I could get there, calling me with progress and quotes that included parts and service. When I picked up the car. The price was less than I would have paid if I had gone to my dealer in Ann Arbor.

Patty Alderton was great to work with, as was Cody. I was notified once my car arrived and they had it ready for me to pick up the same day later in the afternoon. I notified them of a tight schedule and that I had to be in and out quickly to make my son’s baseball game. They were very understanding of my situation and took care of as much as they could over the phone prior to coming in. They had me in and out of the dealership in 20 minutes with my new car. I’m grateful for their hard work, I love my new car, and I highly recommend Labadie Toyota.
The maintenance department always takes great care of us. Adam goes above and beyond to explain what needs to be done, and works to make sure the work is done well and in a timely manner. It’s nice to have a place and people you can trust when your vehicle needs service.
Even though all appointments for an oil change were booked, Labadie said I could drop it in the morning and they would fit it in. My vehicle service was done before noon!! They are still honoring their coupons three years after I purchased my Toyota. Great service. Thank you.

This was the first time going to Labadie Toyota in Bay City. After working with sales agent Antonio Montoya since late last summer looking for a specific 2016 Tacoma it was finally found and purchased. Setting up my first appointment with Samantha in scheduling was very easy and upon arriving for my appointment I was greeted by the Labadie maintenance advisor who went over all of my issues and concerns in detail with the Tacoma then it was immediately taken in for service. Shortly after speaking with Kyle from maintenance he reported to me what was found and discussed what needed to be done. Mentioning to him I was a little crunched for time everything on the truck was addressed including the oil change requested and completed promptly. Meeting with Antonio Montoya we discussed my truck and any concerns or questions Antonio even helped me figure out some things on my radio including a navigation setup. Antonio is a very honest kind and knowledgeable person dedicated to his job as I found all of the staff to be. Having purchased several vehicles at many dealerships in my lifetime Labadie Toyota of Bay City is one of the few best places to purchase your next new or used vehicle from I highly recommend them and thats saying a lot. Purchased a new Tundra Platinum truck and a rust proofing package. Labadie failed to complete the rust proofing despite several requests over a 3 year time period. Finally contacted BBB and received a response from Service Manager offering to sell me another vehicle and reduce the cost versus refund the money. This is the same Manager who repeatedly did not provide the service when requested. Really? This remains unresolved and is reported by the BBB on their website as that. Reported situation to Michigan Attorney General. What legit place of business fails to provide a pre purchased service for 3 years? And then…. requests you buy another vehicle from them to get your money back? SHADY. There are many Toyota dealers around- my advice- avoid this one.
When I purchased the vehicle the service was great but when I went to get service work done the man at the service counter didnt know what he was talking about.Ive got a transmission going out and he tried to tell me the transmission slamming into gear was normal.He cant dazzle with brilliance so he tries to baffle with BS.I wont be buying from them again.They did change the oil.

After a lot of research, we decided on a 2022 Toyota Highlander Hybrid. We live in west Michigan, and sought out a local dealer for the purchase. We were put on a list, and were told it could take 6 months to get a car. I made inquiries to other dealers in MI, IN, IL, and WI. I spoke with Ted at Labadie Toyota in Bay City, and he informed me that a White Platinum Highlander Hybrid was in transit last weekend, and was available to sell. We placed a deposit, and they delivered it to my driveway last night 115 miles from their showroom. We are VERY pleased with the car, and our sales experience with Ted at Labadie Toyota.

I went in to test drive one car that I was interested in and then ended up test drivin another car that I actually liked better and was a little more in my price budget from the help of all the staff I got a 2008 Toyota Sienna. I would definitely recommend this dealership to others in need of a car, truck or van whatever your preference of a vehicle may be
Labadie Toyota was able to set me up with a TRD PRO Tundra that had not even shipped from the factory yet. Working with them was great. Tundra TRD PRO trucks are hard to come by right now and dealers in the area I live were not interested in ordering or trading this model with other dealers. Probably because most dealer don’t have this model in stock to trade or sell. I live almost 500 miles away from Labadie Toyota and they worked with me on a trade and sale of the Tundra over the phone. The sales experience was great and I received almost daily updates on the tundra status. I knew when it shipped from the factory via rail, when it was transferred from rail to semi, and when it was received. The salesman even sent pictures of the truck on the semi before being unloaded. I drove to Labadie and they had me in and out in 30 minutes. Everyone was very nice and I enjoyed working with them. I can’t recommend this dealership enough. Very happy with the truck. Would buy from them again anytime.

I bought my Toyota Tacoma from Ann Arbor Michigan Toyota and less than a month of driving I was missing two Lugnuts and the other one was loose and I was very upset and concerned with the quality of services of Toyota of Ann Arbor. It amazes me how much dealerships differ. One has a 230 fee while another has 995 fee. Advertise a vehicle for 14k, but it’s automatically 15k. Walked to get a 14k vehicle and walked spending over 19k. The finance guy was smooth in his delivery, not even offering the SUV without the warranty. It’s 100% my fault for not finding out how much it was, but I feel it’s a bit sleezy.
I had my car serviced and thought they were open later. I showed up after service closed. The new car dealers helped me out. A young woman (i wish i knew her name) took care of payment. A young man (also wish i knew his name) looked for and found my car IN THE RAIN and pulled it up to the door for me. Thank you! I also bought my car there and was really happy with the dealer and the gentlemen that set up the financing. Highly recommended2nd visit: New car sales at Labadie is great. Their service department is not however. This time i went to pick up my car and as i was walking up to the door one of the employees in service started locking the door ten minutes early . He ended up opening the door but when we went to the window where i would pay and get my keys they did not have my paperwork. When i told them who my associate was they ran out to get him because he was headed home. He came running back in and it turned out he didn’t finish the paperwork yet. Once they got that done i thought i was good to go but when we got home all four of the valve stem caps were missing. Ugghh!

I needed a set of tires for my RAV4 as I am taking a trip at the end of the week to Chicago I wanted to have no issues on the road and I did shop around upon shopping around everyone else was saying 3 to 5 days to get the tires I requested labadies told me they could have them the next day 65000 mile tires at a price that fit my budgetUpon entering the service center the next day when I was told my tires were in I also requested an oil change since I was pretty close to mileage the request was met with professionalism and it was not a problem my tires were installed my oil was changed all my fluids checked I feel very confident and satisfied with the service and professionalism I received as I am getting older I also realize I cannot do everything myself I would recommend labadies to anyone they were there to help me 100% I am very very very satisfied and I will not shop around again labadies will be my first stop

I purchased a 2021 Double Cab Tundra SR5 TRD truck from Labadie and Mike Meyer was our salesman, Mike Lavender was a helpful key person and Ryan Manager was Great! They all did what they could to get us the white color we wanted and were VERY successful! It was a smooth transaction without any run around!!! They match or beat the competitors! We bought a 2022 Sienna from Labadie. The entire process was completed over phone/text as we are located in metro Detroit. It was made extremely easy for myself and my wife and had the car in our driveway a little over 24 hours after we started the process. Highly recommend the entire staff and especially Mike Lavender for keeping us updated for the past 2 months on vehicle availability.
They we were very nice and accommodating. Sean helped us well. They seem to have a large inventory and have been there a long time. The vehicle has been working out well for us so far. They also got many scratches and a dent out of the vehicle well.

Laramie Toyota performed an oil change on my Highlander. During the inspection they also discovered that the air cleaner needed to be changed. Work was done on time and in a reasonable amount of time. I am very satisfied with the work done and appreciate the inspection.Rich Durkee

Our salesman, Anthony was amazing, the used sales manager on the other hand was a different story. He was belligerent, cowardly, and very non sociable. Poor traits for being in a sales job dealing with people. Last time I will deal with them while the used sales manager is there. There are great people there, but the used sales manager is horrible.

Andrew knew the vehicles he was selling, was passionate about the products and was accommodating to my needs/wants in a vehicle. He and the whole staff there are very personable and friendly. I had shopped the Midwest for a particular vehicle and Labadie had one that I was interested in. I asked about flexibility in pricing and was told they try to price fairly and not put customers through a stressful negotiating process. They were right!! They had the best price and it removed the stress of buying. They made financing a smooth and easy process but also got me a lower rate than what I could get at my local credit union. On top of all that, they delivered the vehicle almost 2 hours away AND left me a full tank of gas and a spotless vehicle. This was one of the best vehicle purchasing processes I have ever been a part of. Thank you Labadie!!

Car dealers have a certain reputation for a reason. They play the slow game. They try to wear you down. They try to strong arm you. And more often than not they try to cheat you, on your trade-in, on the price of the car. The last time I went to buy a car the experience was so bad that I almost stopped driving altogether. So you can understand why I was more than a bit apprehensive walking into Labadie Toyota. Luckily as we arrived we were greeted by Shane. Baseball/football fan, foodie, and all around great guy. Within minutes of walking in he had us test driving a new RAV to our exact, incredibly picky specifications. He walked us through our options. And he remained patient with me through my many questions, doubts, and near heart attacks. Everyone at the dealership was great and I was especially impressed when the sales manager came out to personally apologize to us when it turned out we couldnt leave with our new car that day due to a complication with the secretary of states office. Bottom line: I left Labadie feeling like I had bought an awesome new car and not as though I had just signed my life away. Great dealership. Great people. Great experience.
Caryn, was very helpful in trying to find me a truck, the one I was looking at was sold but she kept on top of trying to find me another truck, I found a truck from a private seller. Caryn is a plus for sales, if I ever need another vehicle I would call her first.
The service department completed my maintenance quicker than quoted, which wasnt a huge deal because their waiting area is very comfortable and well stocked.

Careful what you buy! Some faulty air bags on this jeep luckily my children weren’t in the car with meDisappointed that labadie didn’t have much to say when I told them it was totaled and no air bags deployed when they told me when they sold it it has working airbags 😞

I own a Toyota product, they have taken great care in servicing it. They aren’t too nosy, not too aggressive in pushing their products, just good service that makes sense. This was true in years gone by, it is still true today. And this continues… the service was exactly what I expected. Great job, Labadie Toyota!!!
This dealer goes above and beyond for their customers! I was previously tied to Detroit area dealers and I decided the convenience was not worth the horrible service I was getting/seeing so I went to LABADIE IN Bay City and WOW, the difference is HUGE people! I went in at closing on Saturday after looking in the Detroit area all day and they treated me like they would treat their sister! I bought the car that day! The New car manager Ryan took care of me and Mike Meyer drew up all the paperwork and they NEVER ONCE LOOKED AT THEIR WATCH! The used cars were all CLEAN and ready for sale, trust me, that is not what I saw down south! They promptly got my 4 Runner serviced and the tiny issues resolved and delivered the car as we agreed! I am a person who buys cars all the time, I am very knowledgable about the game and they never treated me like a know-nothing to take advantage of me and that is really important and speaks to their integrity!

They always take good car of my vehicle. Had an oil change, multipoint inspection, and tire rotation and it only took about 45 minutes! Service as great, and I bought my vehicle here, so I had two free oil changes and tire rotations that I even drove up from Detroit to use!

Just amazing! Very polite and friendly! I have had a bad experience previously with a dealership. Lied to me stole my $ changed the price of the vehicle by $1000 after I told them I loved it. Josh and Toyota Labadie took my fears and apprehension out back and beat them into submission. I was very excited to have a newer car. I drove two hours to see THE one. Scott Weiler helped me get that van and within my budget. He was awesome. Kyle in finance explained everything right up front to make sure that I knew what I needed and worked to get what I asked for. I love my van. Everyone was polite, helpful and experienced. I contacted Labadie to convert my lease to a purchase since they are the Toyota dealership nearest to me (60 miles). The initial telephone conversations seemed professional and productive. They secured favorable financing with my lender of choice and even offered to have a driver bring the paperwork to my home for signatures. When the driver arrived, I discovered I was requested to sign incomplete documents, blank documents, and a purchase document that contained options I had declined. I ended up taking time away from work to drive to the dealership which I probably should have done in the first place.Almost a month later, they discovered they omitted another document that requires another signature. I asked to have the document emailed so I could sign, scan, and email back. I received another blank document from an email address that is a send only address. Three calls later, still waiting for the correct document.If they are your choice, go in person and carefully check everything you sign, cant be trusted.

I had an oil change and a coolant flush done and much to my disappointment the windshield washer fluid was not filled and after letting my truck sit on level ground for about 15 minutes before I checked it the oil level was down a half a quart. I hope they actuallydid the radiator flush.

The whole experience was positive for me. I felt confident in their ability to perform the work that needed to be done ( electric brake control for towing). They were knowledgeable and prompt. They kept my vehicle clean while completing their work. It was completed in the allotted time they had quoted for the price they had quoted. They answered my questions in a friendly, appropriate manner. My only very very very minor issue is they had to unhook my battery while completing their work. After driving home I discovered that only the driver’s power window worked. I called and they immediately told me the simple thing I needed to do to restore the window function. Took less than a minute for me to remedy. Very simple once you know how. I would recommend Labadie highly and would certainly do business with them again.
Exceptional overall experience! The service manager took the time to provide us with the best solution for our problem, in our case replacement instead of repair.We were provided with a loaner due to circumstances out of the control of the dealership which caused the repair to take longer than usual.We will definitely go back for future repairs! All went exactly as expected...no surprises. The people were friendly, courteous and prompt. Relaxed atmosphere. Even had a decaf cafe mocha? Also talked to a sales rep who was equally relaxed and friendly...zero sales ploys. Would recommend.
I was working with Guy for a while. He helped me out with looking online as it took me about a month to come down from Emmet County. When the day finally came that I was able to come to the dealership, Eric helped me out the whole way! Despite being new to the industry he was very nice and helpful, which is very relaxing as a fist time car buyer. I will definitely be back when its time for a new car.
Watch out for the compulsory $1500 salt and interior protection package that these guys are going to tack onto the price of your vehicle even if you dont want it and the service has yet to even be performed. This is how they sell an in-demand vehicle at above what Toyota wants them to sell for. Also, $1000 non-refundable deposit to hold a vehicle thats not a special order and could be sold in minutes upon a cancellation seems like a bit much.
All of the folks at Labadie Toyota are Top Notch. Every single time I have taken my wife’s Highlander or my Camry in for routine maintenance the job is completed efficiently and the main thing is neither vehicles have ever broken down. Very knowledgeable techs and advisors. Definitely a “Go To” dealership for buying a quality vehicle and taking good care of it for the long run.
Shane did an excellent job showing us the available inventory and allowing us to drive and see all options to choose from. He was very knowledgeable about everything the vehicle had to offer. We liked that he wasnt pushy or trying to sell something we didnt want. Everyone at Labrador were friendly and helpful. They do good quality work and if any issues arise they are professional and handle the issues quickly and professionally. Matt in the service department is always friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He is great to work with. Keep up the good work!Labadie is a great dealership. Their staff is always willing to go the extra mile to help. Their service department is great and will make things right if there is any mistakes.
I find the people kind and considerate and very helpful thats why I give the people four stars. As for service I made an appointment to get my tires rotated and it took an hour and 15 minutes, which I found was quite a long ordeal.

I had an appointment to look over a vehicle, only to find out that it had been sold from under me. I even offered to put a deposit on the car and was told I didn’t need to by Holly. When we called her out on it, she became very combative and hostile. This experience has pretty much assured that this dealership won’t get any more business from me and anyone who doesn’t want to deal with underhanded, unprofessional salespeople would be wise take their business elsewhere
We drove from Grand Rapids and worked with Josh and he was awesome and super professional, chill and helpful. The vehicle we wanted to look already had a pending offer and he was still able to show us other options within the checklist of what we wanted as well as a few others. We were able to get the vehicle we really wanted and Josh was so patient while we waited on hold for insurance.The buildings and offices were clean and everyone working there was super friendly. We’re super happy with our RAV4 and will refer people there. Definitely worth the drive.

Dealing with Kyle at Labadie was an enjoyble experience. They gave us us a great Trade in value on our 2020 Rav4. It took approximately 3 month for the exact car we wanted to be available because of the supply line issues. When that car was available we were contacted and in a couple of hours the paperwork was signed and we on our way with a 2021 Ruby Red RAV4.
Now that I am older, with car dealerships experience, I can say Labadie‘s Toyota is the most professional I’ve ever dealt with. Always thorough, pleasant, and efficient. Quite unusual in our day of poor to know customer service.

I worked with Kyle during the September Toyota promotion and had a great overall experience.He was prompt at replying to me, listened to whhat I preferred and what was acceptable and shared his viewpoint on one option pkg vs another. He was able to come very close to my aggressive price point, locate an exact match to my preference list and offered to deliver the new Rav4 to my driveway, that sealed the deal. We had one very minor speed bump with a forgotten dealer provided accessory, which he notified me of before the vehicle arrived and he promptly shipped it right out.Its hard to think of anything that could have been handled any better.

Great sales staff, inventory and overall process! I visited Labadie Toyota after the dealer that I was intending to purchase a car from pulled some EXTREMELY shady moves (said dealer rhymes with pal era). So, I was in a suspicious state of mind to begin with, and ended up impressed despite myself!I had been corresponding with their internet sales consultant, who had shown me a decent number of cars that matched what I was looking for. When I went in, I worked with Mike F. in used car sales. He found me the perfect car that was exactly what I was looking for, gave me a great value for my trade in, and was straightforward and professional the entire time- no pushy sales tactics at all.The financing department also was great. I had gotten pre-approved for financing from my bank, but the financing department beat my banks interest rate. They also didnt pressure me for needless add ons like some places (I did take advantage of one thing that was legitimately a good deal, but I didnt have to spend 20 minutes repeatedly saying that no, I am not interested in your spray on fabric protection deal like many other places (see: pal era above lol)).I purchased the car knowing that it would need to go back to the shop for a quick windshield repair. Mike F. kept me apprised as to when the windshield arrived, worked around my schedule, and sent someone to collect the car and leave me with a great rental while it got worked on.Frankly, Im in shock to have had a positive experience buying a car (probably the first time in my life)! Absolutely no complaints with these guys.

Update: just purchased new tires and had them installed/aligned yesterday. Today my “service required soon” warning popped up. Wish the service department had checked my mileage and scheduled the oil change for the same appointment. Other then that, I’m happy with the service.I have purchased two vehicles from Labadie in Bay City and use their service department for all regular maintenance. If I had any issues, I’d use them for repairs as well, but I haven’t had any problems. I’ve been very pleased with the quality of work, the clean waiting area, and the courteous staff. The only thing I’d change is being able to schedule appointments online (System doesn’t seem to work) and see when I set it up approximately how long the appointment will be based on the services due at that visit.
I got a pretty good deal on a used Camry, their lot fees are a little high might want to call ahead to check. (for any dealer). I tried to negotiate, they gave me some free oil changes but Ill probably never drive to Bay City for an oil change on my day off. I would definitely buy a car from them again. I wish the experience was quicker and easier, however I dont think any dealer is going to make it quick, or easy.
Near the end of the day my serpentine belt failed on my FJ Cruiser. Fortunately, I was within a couple of miles of Labadie Toyota. Adam, the service writer, was courteous and professional. He arranged for my rental car and I was on my way shortly. Early the next morning he called to explain what was needed, and scheduled that repair and three recalls which I was unaware of. By the end of the afternoon I had my FJ back and was delighted to find that the estimated cost were reduced as they found that the Idler Pulley did not need replacement. Overall, a great experience!

2022-01-20I’ve been searching for over a year for a full size pickup and I found it online at Labadie Toyota. Tony went above and beyond to make this happen. I got a great value for my trade in and got the truck I’ve been waiting on. Tony your the man, thanks again for everything you did all while helping numerous customers at the same time. 2022-02-02Living in Metro Detroit, we had plenty of lots to stop at during our used car search. Unfortunately were unable to find a car that lived up to the ad or a sales person that wanted to sell something. We saw a car listed at Labadie but were hesitant to make the 2 hour, each way drive. I am glad we did. Everyone in the used car department was friendly and courteous and willing to work with us! From the time we arrived and then left two days later with our new used car, Caryn, Mike F, Cody, Kyle, and finally Todd the Used Car Manager. For us, it was worth the drive.

2021-11-09Bought my first Toyota today. What a great dealership. Friendly and helpful. Patty did everything she could to find me the right fit. I test drove a bunch of cars/suvs before finally deciding on my car. I then had the service department order some accessories to install before I picked up my car. If you are in the market for a new or used Toyota give Patty and the rest of the team a call.

2022-03-20I’ve been coming to Labadie for several years for service and vehicle purchases. I kept coming back because of the great service but, I’m not sure I’ll continue my business. I scheduled a tire rotation and oil change as well as service for a recall since it was an option when scheduling the service and I have a current recall. The person who assisted me when I arrived was very nice but, I was told that the part for the recall will have to be ordered and another visit for service scheduled. Also, I was told this service takes 3 hours. It would have been nice to have been told that I’d need to make another appointment when I scheduled this service rather than to be under the impression the work could be done at the same appointment. Back to the visit, I waited an hour and 40 minutes for an oil change and tire rotation. That is a ridiculous amount of time for two basic services that never took this long in previous years. In fact, two weeks ago my husband had the same service for his truck at Labadie and waited two hours during his work day. This length of time is unexpected and if this is the new standard, it should be communicated when scheduling the service. Now, I have to schedule another appointment for the recall that I’m told will take 3 hours but I’m wondering if that is really the time I should expect. Had I known this, I would have planned to leave my car for the day to have all service done rather than being inconvenienced with two trips to the dealer given that I live outside of Bay City. We are considering taking our service to another dealer.

2022-02-09Kyle Wilson is amazing! He was able to put both my daughter and I into new to us cars (both newer than the cars we were driving), and my payments are lower. The whole process to purchase both cars took me less than two hours, although I know that Kyle and his team put in hours of work behind the scenes. I have recommended them to everyone I talk to!

2022-02-04I feel I must disclaim that I can count on one hand the number of reviews I have given, it’s just something that I do not do as a normal course. However, this for Labadie is one of those exceptions. Our daughter recently moved to Michigan from Iowa for a temporary job assignment. Two weeks after she arrived the motor in her car went out. So we needed to help her find something reliable, at a fair price point and quickly. We saw a vehicle online at Labadie Toyota that was close to where she was staying, we called on it right away and worked with Anthony Delgado, he is a saint! He was very empathetic to our situation and even went to pick up my daughter from her home and brought her to the dealership so she could view the vehicle in person and have a chance to drive it. Once we worked out all of the details (from long distance), he even went back to her house to pick her up so she could sign the paperwork. And then again the day after (after payment cleared) to actually pick up the vehicle. He went out of his way to help and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Anthony deserves a raise and much praise for being an honest and professional salesman and all around good human.

2022-03-04Me and my wife had a good and smooth experience when purchasing our pre-owned vehicle. The details of the purchase was straight forward. 2022-06-22Kyle was awesome. It’s tough getting vehicles right now but he kept me in the loop every step of the way. He helped me get it faster than expected. Great transaction and I’ll definitely do business with him again. Wasn’t the typical pushy salesman. He didn’t bombard me with unwanted texts and sales calls. He did right by me. Id give him 6 stars if I could.
