LaFontaine Buick GMC in other cities:
Best experience!!! I went to a different dealership with an appointment and was basically ignored, just here drive and see if you like, then we are closing Ill call you tomorrow. So I looked online and found a beauty of a car. After work I stopped by LaFontaine (no appointment) walked in was given to Jamie, told her about the vehicle I saw, test drove it and the next day I was driving away in it. Jamie was AMAZING! Very transparent and helpful! I will definitely be going back and sending anyone I know there way!The other dealership called me around 7pm the next day after we agreed upon the early afternoon. I dont like being an after thought! At LaFontaine Jamie messaged me after she was home, which she didnt have to, to help me with paperwork I needed for my pickup.100 stars from me! Great dealership, great employees!! Thank you LaFontaine I love my new vehicle.
1 only because I cannot make a zero star review The car I bought was a certified used car with a certified warranty. The finance person knew I was trying to lower my payment and got me financed. He told me an extended warranty would cost $19 more per month and my payment without a warranty would be $355/month. Both things were lies. Now the dealership; finance and supervisors will not return my attempts to contact them.Secondly In texts and emails the salesman promised to fix items on the car prior to my signing making my purchase agreement based on his promises. He then said he knew he said that he would do those things but he isn’t going to because he doesn’t make the rules.Third problem is that a couple days after purchasing the transmission started having issues and had to be serviced. I took it back to the dealership and they won’t even look at it for 30 days.Would not recommend. Consumer laws are not upheld.
Our truck dealership has gone above and beyond in our satisfaction with service and sales! Jason Hilts particularly has always made sure all our needs were met, and we were 100 percent sold on what his dealership has to offer in every area. Couldnt be happier to work with such fine people!
Bought a 2912 Buick Enclave on March 1, 2022. One week later the engine light came on. Was told it would be $100. to diagnose it. I asked the salesman if he could get it fixed for free since I just bought it. I was told no because I didn’t have a warranty. The engine light had three codes. One having to do with catalytic converter. I liked this dealership but now I do not trust it. And if these cars are looked at before being sold, then I question the mechanics. Will never buy another car from this dealership
Update: We finally have an answer back from the service department. Turns out the battery is bad, along with the spark plugs. We have had this car for 2 months and the battery is bad already? LaFontaine will not waive price of the labor nor parts to fix any of the issues even though 2 months ago the inspection came out clean! Please avoid this company at all costs, they only care about your money and making their sale. Once they have it they no longer care, even if it’s their own mess up! I am beyond frustrated and will never take my business to this sham of a company anymore. My husband and I purchased a 2016 Jeep Cherokee towards the end of February 2022. Within 2 weeks the check engine light came on. We purchased the warranty so we weren’t too concerned. We reached out to Mike B (our sales professional) on March 4th to figure out if this particular problem was covered in the warranty and to schedule service. We did not hear back. We reached out a few more times since and there have still been no response. My husband has called the service department and they couldn’t tell us if the issue was covered under our warranty and transferred him to someone that could help. No answer so a voicemail was left. We still have not heard back. Our vehicle will no longer start and we will have to pay for a tow truck to pick up the car and bring it to a mechanic. Very frustrated with the whole situation and would just appreciate some answers. There are also problems with the brakes on the vehicle although 2 months ago the “inspection” came back great. This gives me concern that their mechanics inspecting aren’t great. It seems once the sale is made, customer service goes out the window. From the uncomfortable and unprofessional situation during the purchasing process to the headache service has been, I think it’s best to avoid purchasing vehicles from here altogether.
I had an appointment for 11:45 to get an oil change, tire rotation and a problem I had looked at. I was there 5 minutes early. I took the very nice guy for a drive to try and explain the noise. When we got back to the dealer, the oil change and tires took until 1:45. Literally. Plus, a problem was recognized, wasn’t taken care of and now I have to return. Why could they not have ordered a part then for my repair? Why did I have an appointment if it didn’t seem to matter? I can get an oil change closer to home and cheaper next time. Really disappointed. The guy apologized and felt bad. But $70+ later & 2 hours later with me still needing to come back 1 or 2 times…is ridiculous! After I get warranty work, I’ll go elsewhere.
It was refreshing to be treated like a valued customer for once. Unlike most of my regular day to day interactions with other business entities where I feel like Im being taken for granted, or worse, being a bother to the representative Im dealing with, the experience I had at LF Buick was a pleasant surprise. Keep up the good work...Ill be back for additional business!
Jeff Beaudoin is a Saint!!! After him dealing with me for 5 days, he was still as patient and eager to help as the first moment I walked in. I actually started to feel bad for him since I was so indecisive and I couldnt always make it up there at a decent time of day. His professional demeanor never changed. I never felt rushed or disregarded and Im not sure how he put up with me for so long. Hes a better man than I. Everyone else I met or dealt with was polite and seemed genuinely interested in their customers and I having a great experience while there. And I could see the same in the way they treated other customers as well who they werent serving. Hope you guys keep Jeff around because I will find him when I need my next car. Thank you Lafontaine for a clean, welcoming, and well established environment, and know that the sales people are the ones the customers come back to see. You guys have a great staff!!! Thanks again!
My wife and I purchased a vehicle and were told at purchase that the car had a bad system. They kept the car for a week and told us the system would be fixed. The system failed again and despite having told us the existing warranty, their labor warranty and the extended warranty that was sold to us that one would cover any further issues with the system. The following summer the system failed again and we were told none of the warranties would cover the issue. Apparently the hose connecting the part they replaced is not covered and they didnt replace it during the fix. Now we are being told its 3k to replace this hose. Very unsatisfied with this lack of action and in fixing what we are now told is a common issue with this vehicle. If thats the case it should have been replaced or repaired before selling. More over to now say none of the warranties we have covers this is a slap in the face. Will not be shopping here again and will be taking to court. Be careful what the salesman sells you...
Worst buying experience I have EVER had. Its been a year since delivery of my SUV, and my delivery issues have not been addressed. Have called my salesperson (Grace)well over a dozen times, sent email, and still left with broken promises and lack of communication. I got tired of calling her....I have recently left 3 messages with the F/I department about my extended warrantys with no return phone calls. I buy 3-4 cars a year. Not the car buying experience I expected from a dealership this size. BUYERS BEWARE !!
I have found my Terrain at this dealership by word of mouth and I was not disappointed. I found exactly what I was looking for. JP was awesome. He was patient, informative and he made this an amazing experience overall. We came from Kentwood to buy this Terrain because of the customer service and their prices are lower than what I would have found in Kentwood. Thank you, JP! We will highly recommend this dealership to our friends and especially JP!
I did not receive a car wash with my oil change. Last time I brought a car in I received a car wash. Thats why I gave you 4 stars instead of 5. Also, in the customer waiting area, Fox News was on all the televisions. I dont think controversial stations should be on televisions in public areas. I would suggest HGTV instead. I did not ask for the station to be changed, but next time I will.
The service department is lacking. I have always had good service managers but the technicians appear to be weak. My last visit was a total joke with how bad the diagnosis was. I save myself $900 by not trusting their analysis. The glass people are very slimy and incompetent. I am very disappointed that LaFontaine would allow a company like Security Auto Glass in their building . My experience with SAG was so bad that I may be done giving LaFontaine future business.
Service advisor recommended multiple items that are not actually necessary to be done at this mileage based on GMC vehicle service recommendations. And your service bundles add extra cost through bundling additional items - for example I wanted just the cabin air filter replaced, got charged for the packaged steps of additional deoderizing of evaporator and heater core.
I’ve had my to tunnel cover in for leaking water 4 times and it still leaks. The first time the service adviser said it was the wrong cover being a half inch short but give us a chance to fix it. After 3 times in it still leaks.I’ve had a terrible mold smell inside my cab. They said the rear window was leaking water and soaked the rear carpet causing the smell. It was replaced and the smell was better but not gone. They said to put baking soda on a plate and to keep the windows opened to air out. To this day it still stinks. The worse part is if I put something in the cab it picks up that smell including us.I picked up the truck at closing time and asked for the paperwork and was told they would mail it to me but I never received it.I’ve been buying GMC from LaFontain since 1986 and this was a worse experience ever. Mr. Spurgess
I have worked for years with Vicky Akey as my service writer. She is professional and responsive. When the service work has not been performed adequately, she has been diligent in getting it corrected. I have a disability and Vicky has gone out of her way to make my service appointments as easy as possible which I appreciate.
Awesome place great facade going on two weeks and no prospects on newer vehicle. I have bad credit however have money and have made no progress. Lacking on communication not great at listening my request are not being met; so if you have bad credit dont go here because theyll trwat you like an outsider NOT like family.... The black sheep of the family is how i feel (Lafontaine) FIX IT.
The sales consultant was great, very friendly, professional and transparent with everything going on within the car industry. Even with these unsure times LaFountaine sales team did amazingly. I have a friend who ordered a Ford F250 within a week of my order of my GMC3500HD. From the beginning his sales consultant has lied about build times and shipping dates. His build date has even been pushed back several times now. I appreciate that GMC and the GMC dealers maintained realistic timelines goals with the production and delivery of vehicles and did not resort to lies to drive sales numbers.
My experience at LaFontaine was so much better than I had at any other dealership. I had previously been with Lunghammer and when I tried to go back there for my new lease my experience with the two different sales people I dealt with was horrible. I will do all of my leasing with LaFontaine from now on!
If I could give a LaFontaine of HighLand 10 stars I would. Jacob Roumayah and Tasha Chapman were so incredible to work with. I told them what I was looking for in a vehicle, my budget, just my overall situation, and they totally went beyond what I was expecting!! They’re personable, kind, experienced, thorough, and they don’t waste anyones time. You’ll definitely leave the car lot in what you want or something nicer. Furthermore, I recommend Jacob Roumayah & Tasha Chapman at LaFontaine of Highland!!!!(:
My sales lady jamie miller was very nice to talk to answered all my questions that i had ask her up front with all the information about the 3500 that i bought from her.JAMIE MILLER is one of thoes sales people that takes great pride on what she does, her personality is abovr any other sales person that i talked to at lafontain where i bought my truck from i am just glad that i had a very nice young lady to help me with my transaction of my truck. jamie was my third sales rep that i talked to and she was the best out of the others.so after that was said some of the people that repersent your company should what jamie miller and learn a fwe good pouinters on how to respect your customers.CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT MISS JAMIE MILLER THANK YOU
Purchased a Jeep Grand Cherokee from Cary Kolodziejczak. Expecting the absolute worst from car dealerships, Cary and her team made it easy, with no gotcha, or cram downs while finalizing the deal. In fact the finance team even beat my CU’s financing. Impressive, I recommend LaFontaine and their process. My next one will be from them as well.Thank you!
Be careful and be warned! Overall, my experience has been very disappointing. Im even beginning to think that there could be racial bias involved...I made an appt. with Jose R. to view a slightly pre-owned caddy truck. Everyone greeted me upon arrival and offered coffee. Jose was pleasant enough, and even offered lunch during the visit. All of these professional platitudes were very apparent pre-sale i.e. before they secured the sale revenue. As I was sitting in the office to wrap up related financing paperwork, Jose announced that they found an issue with the truck. So--- although the down payment was transferred and the lease agreement was fully negotiated; I couldnt take ownership of the vehicle for roughly 1 week. Needless to say, I paid for a week of usage that I didnt realize. The experience continued to deteriorate: I simply asked for courtesy good faith compensation for the almost 1-week of lost usage; and help with a small ding noted upon delivery. As of this authoring, Ive made roughly 10 phone calls to get assistance with same. Not 1 person- namely Jason Tilts-Manger- has returned even 1 call.In summary: The experience was relatively decent before they got my money. Then--- the drastic shift in customer care translated into roughly $120 worth of lost vehicle usage, an unrepaired ding; and worst of all --- overt disregard and disrespect. I plan to further escalate these concerns through the state. Unacceptable - period!UPDATE: Joe Hill, the general manager, connected with me quickly after I authored this review. He acted swiftly to rectify the above outlined concerns; and restored my faith in LaFontaine Highland!
I did my research for months. Got pre-qualified and was ready to make a deal on something I had been taking a look at because it was economically safe and good on gas mileage. I walked into @lafontaine_cadillac_buick_gmc dealership prepared to negotiate when Sales Consultant Joseph Snyder spoke to me as I walked in and asked how he could help. I liked him right away. We took a test drive in the vehicle I was pre-qualified for but the Sales Manager would not accept my deal. I wanted to pay much LESS on the vehicle and walked in the door with MORE demands 🤣🤪 They asked me what I wanted and I told them and they got me MUCH more than that. I MUST Thank my Sales Consultant for putting up with me first of all but I gotta also Thank the Queen of Finance Tasha Chapman. She did her thing and I walked out a Happy Camper!! I gotta tell you that I had the Best Experience at Lafontaine Highland! They treated me like family and made sure I ate, was comfortable and had EVERYthing I needed while I waited. I had the best Veggie Wrap from the Cafe in their dealership and the best French Toast Coffee! (It was Divine!) I highly recommend this dealership. My sales experience was Top-knotch! Thank you Joe, Tasha and Andrew! You guys Rock!! ! ❤❤❤🤗🤗🤗🤗#sales #salesexperience #autoreview #dealershipreview #lafontaine #familydeal #carbuyingexperience #happycamper
Eric Szymczak and Jennifer Narkun were great to work with. We bought a used car from LaFontaine and flew in from Kentucky to pick it up. Eric worked really hard to get everything just as we needed. He went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. He picked us up from the airport and worked after hours to get us on the road home with the new car. I highly recommend Eric, Jennifer, and LaFontaine to anyone looking for either a new or used vehicle. No high pressure sales or trickery here. Great people!
When the LaFontaine family talks about “family” they’re talking about their family. They treat their customers, employees and their families like second class citizens. I’ve never met such unprofessional, rude and entitled people. Go here if you want to get talked down to by a half drunk housewife playing “car dealer” with inherited money.
The salesperson Eric and the Finance Manager Tasha made this experience so absolutely seamless I was shocked. I have years of experience in the car business and couldnt be more impressed with the way I was treated and how FAST everything went. Thanks again guys! Ill be back!
Took my truck here for some warranty engine work and they got it inspected quickly. Parts were ordered and my truck was repaired in a few days, which was really quick considering the amount of work needed. Only complaint is how hard it is to get a hold your service advisor. I understand you can get busy, because I also work in the Automotive repair industry, but a simple email goes a long way and takes very little time. One more thing, if someone brings a full-size truck in for repair a mini SUV is not an acceptable loaner car.Edit:2 weeks after this service one of my injectors failed. Returned the truck to lafontaine where they told me it wasnt their fault and its gonna cost $1400 to repair. I found this odd considering they just had my heads oof 2 weeks earlier and the injectors are mounted in the heads. Since theres no way I can prove they caused this issue I picked my truck up and repaired it myself for $400.
Came in for a simple oil change and tire rotation. The service manager told me my vehicle looked great, no oil leaks. Vehicle smelled like burnt oil after I received my car back. When I got home and checked, oil was all over my engine compartment, and when I returned the second time, they tell me there is signs of oil leakage. They Totally spilled oil all over, how could they Now tell there is oil leakage, when they spilled it all over. Very, very, very disappointed. Ive been coming there for all my oil changes and Im very disappointed with this last appointment.
I have had some serious bad luck in the car shopping department until Aaron Swope came to my aid. From rude and pushy salespeople to out right neglect and negligence. But, LaFontaine turned that around. It was a fast and painless experience. Aaron even made sure to have some paint and other cosmetic blemishes touched up without trying to argue the, “That’s what you get at this price,” nonsense. The car looks brand new and had the best value for the same specs compared to other dealers.I never felt uncomfortable or pressured once. I definitely recommend taking a look here first.
Absolutely the most horrible service experience I ever experienced at a dealership. Youd think that taking your Cadillac to the dealer to handle a repair would be done correctly; at this place, you would be wrong. They did not address the issues I reported to the Service Advisor, which the car did again and I had to bring it back less than a half mile from the dealer. Then I was promised it fixed and delivered to my home the next day, which they already had over two weeks. This was the thursday before Xmas Eve; they are closed for Xmas Eve and the weekend. I never got a single update from the service advisor or the service manager Thurs on what the status was, so I was left carless over the holiday, which ruined Xmas as I couldnt see people I wanted to see and there were gifts in the car I couldnt get to anyway. I was also moving over the weekend and this caused delays that cost me money. Dont go here, some untrained guy in a local shop could have provided a better effort and got it done properly.
Very friendly and and clean and neat. I was happy that I was in heat while being written up. The service write up is heated unlike the dealership I bought my vehicle from. The advisor I dealt with let me know my oil change and rotation was free on some maintnance plan also.Super cool. They even washed my car for me.
Went inn for a simple recall and an alignment. Service person said it would be done next day. Get a call all parts are inn but still havent been seen. Truck was there a week then gets a call that they cant do the alignment because truck was to long.Once I finally got the truck back it was filthy inside and was reassembled wrong causing the seatbelt to bind up and not work that I fixed myself.
My experience with LaFontaine Buick GMC in Highland Michigan was nothing less than perfect! Our sales representative Michael Ko found the exact make, model, and color of the 2022 Buick Enclave Avenir we were searching for. The delivery of the vehicle was an added plus, and the drivers even took the Enclave through a local carwash when they dropped it off! Thank you so much, LaFontaine and Michael Ko.
Throughout our entire car purchasing experience, their sales, finance, and service teams have been amazing. I would highly recommend this dealership and it’s staff to anyone looking for a new car. Top notch and exceptional quality people that went the extra mile to make sure we got the vehicle we were looking for and enjoyed the process along the way.
Would not honor my free oil change because I’ve had the vehicle for 16 months and hadn’t brought it back to the dealer for the oil change. (Was advised after I dropped the car off that I only had 12 months to use the free oil change. Was told it was a “GM thing.”) Car was not washed as I had requested and none of the advisors I spoke to could tell me why my brakes were squeaking, but they could charge me $260 to fix said squeak. How can you fix something when you don’t know what it is?
I brought my wifes Buick Envision in yesterday for the first oil change and tire rotation. We were there for 2 hours because I was told that there was a recall for the infotainment system which required a software update. This morning my wife had an appointment so after she left I went out to the garage and I noticed a puddle of oil that had leaked out of her vehicle. I called the service manager Steve to tell him about it and he said he would send someone out to look at it when my wife returns home. Im very disappointed that this happens when you take your vehicle in for a routine oil change.UPDATE. To this review.According to the mechanic that came out to check the leak, the oil filter wasnt tighten enough causing the leak. I guess Ill go back to doing my own oil changes from now on.
Have had an appointment for this morning for about two weeks. Got here only to be told “oh wait let me check if we even have the filter for your vehicle” (mind you it’s a Chrysler) and then told it’s gonna be a minimum 2 hour wait. I understand being short staffed but I also believe in the courtesy of giving your customers a heads up. I have received reminders calls from employees and emails multiple times with week but nothing this morning to say hey we are short staffed and wait times are longer than normal if you need to reschedule. This is not the first issue with this dealership and we will no longer be using them to service our vehicles.
I purchased a GMC Terrain from Cary in used car sales yesterday- hands down the best car buying experience Ive ever had. She was very professional and provided the best car sale encounter I could have hoped for. The process was seamless and not the average lengthy transaction of purchasing a vehicle. I also worked with Tony in the financing department- he did an amazing job and was actually able to get me well below the payment I anticipated! He was also very enjoyable to talk to in regards to his car collection, very beautiful cars :) I would highly recommend doing business with this dealership! I most definitely am looking forward to doing business with them in the future and will be referring all my friends and family looking for new/used cars. :)
Not professional at all. When I asked for explanations of the deal and price breakdown, I was told you dont want to buy you can leave, someone else will buy it. Very rude behavior after I drove 4 hours in two separate visits in a single week to get the car I wanted. I liked the car, so I still wanted to get the deal to work. If I wasnt so desperate, I would have never made a purchase from this place. After 30mins discussions about what my payment will be for 72 months. My loan terms were written for 75 months instead of 72 months. I was asked to sign for 75 months. Until I noticed the term then the finance person goes back and fixes it. He didnt say it was a mistake or a typo. Like actively trying to manipulate and make extra money.Once I came home, my drivers license state is written wrong on the papers. I couldnt notice myself during signing because they were rushing me to sign quickly. I message them and they said they will see. But I am still waiting to hear back if it is fixed or not, it has been a week now. No contact back at all. I am actually extremely disappointed by my treatment at this dealership. I will not recommend anyone to this place to go buy a car.I was asked to sign everything in a hurry without an explanation of the papers. If I ask what is this paper, the finance person will explain a little in barely 2 words.Zero stars are not available on google, otherwise, I would have given it.
This is my second vehicle purchase from Bob Staples. Each time he exceeded my expectations. I never give feedback on surveys, Bob left me no choice. You cant get the cars I wanted in this environment, but he did, not once but twice. I will only send friends/family to this salesman. truly amazing.
Scheduled a recall service, lady on the phone said parts were in stock. Dropped truck off to have recall done. Received a call that the work would have to be scheduled again and this was only a diagnostic. I already diagnosed it, there is no window, it was smoking and cracked. Was told the work would be done under recall N192265660. So, dropped truck off again and was told it wasnt covered under recall. Total waste of time and feel like I was lied to the entire way.
The salesman was very nice. However, there were long periods of time when I didnt know what was going on. When he was at the table with me he was pleasant and patient as he waited for me to get the freeze off my credit report. When it was time for me to close the deal, I felt rushed. It was like, sign, sign, sign, but because the lead up to that moment had taken so long, I didnt feel right stopping the process to ask questions. I think I should have gotten a better deal with my credit score; unfortunately I cant be sure. I didnt get the best rate that was quoted and with a 770 credit score I dont really understand why. All that said, overall my experience with the dealership was pretty good. I just wish I hadnt been left to guess what was happening for such long periods of time and that Id gotten a better deal and not felt so rushed when it was time to sign. I guess thats a Sales technique and it worked on me, but I didnt really like it.
Excellent experience at LaFontaine Highland. My sales person was Ron Miller. I am not an easy customer to please, but he was patient and worked with me. His sales manager was Bob whom help close the deal. Both were very professional and I would certainly recommend them. The business manager, Kenneth Sweet was also just as professional. He wasnt overly pushy on selling you extended warranties or other aftermarket options. He explained the the different products and once we said no, he left it at that. Didnt make us feel uncomfortable like other dealerships. The vehicle was ready for delivery at the set time. Overall experience was an A+. Well worth the 1 hour and 10 minutes drive to LaFontaine Highland for me!
This was my second time leasing a car at Lafontaine. The first time in 2015 delivery didnt go as smooth as it should have. However, Jonathan Tournaud went over and beyond in 2015 to make sure the delivery of my new Buick went well and helped me out even though he was not my salesman at the time. At that point I knew I would be back to see him for my next car. Back in January 2018, I ordered a new Buick Regal GS. It took 6 months to get in, but the entire time Jonathan called me with updates. From the time the car was made to the location in transit Jonathan kept me posted. He called with the news that my car was in and ran many numbers for me until I chose the payment that was right for me. I got to the dealership to find my car in perfect delivery condition. Jonathan was great, I had questions about the price and he went over everything and explained the numbers. When I was with the finance department Jonathan went to my old car and made sure it was empty of my personal belongings and put my plate on the new car. I was done at finance and Jonathan went over the car with me and I was done. I have leased 16 cars and I would say this was the easiest transaction I have had. Jonathan is wonderful, he truly does care about his customers and when you talk to him you feel like you have known him forever. I would recommend to go in and ask for Jonathan T, you wont be disappointed.
Our experience was horrible and we will be taking our business elsewhere. Work was not authorized to be done on our vehicle by the person on the account. $1200 later. This is a joke for a dealership and I have contacted the Better Business Bureau. They need to be held accountable for taking advantage of a young college student.
I bought a 2020 CT5 from here and I was lucky I had Karen as my sales consultant. She did an amazing job to get the vehicle to the price I wanted to pay. She followed up on an every question I asked and provided an answer as quick as possible, shed leaves voicemails if I wasnt available. She made sure Im happy and satisfied with my purchase. I highly recommend her.
Dave was very nice. He listen to my problems that I was having with my car and the previous dealerships mistakes. He kept me informed on the progress of my car and what my options were. Everyone was very welcoming. It was worth the hour drive each way. I will be back.
This was our first LaFontaine purchase. We were interested in a vehicle seen on the website. When we inquired about its availability, our message was followed up with two phone calls from personnel almost immediately. Our appointment with Weston Schwab went beautifully as he was extremely knowledgeable and attuned to our needs. Information was presented with no pressure to buy. We came away impressed with the final figures and Weston’s attention to details. We love our new vehicle and it was a pleasure to work with this dealership!
Beau was attentive and was able to provide me with exactly the car I was looking for. He is transparent and I was confident he was providing me best conditions possible on a difficult scenario we are facing. He was sometimes very busy, which one can understand - but it didnt stop him from closing deal real quick.
Kevin Bright has always been great about taking care of my periodic maintenance and anycar problems that I may be having. He takes an interest in my vehicle issues and spends the time to get them resolved. I have had a great experience with this dealers service department.
Best car buying experience yet! The dealership is clean and welcoming, the staff is friendly, and I actually felt like I received a very fair price when I drove off the lot (which never happens to me)!! I picked out the vehicle I wanted before stepping foot on the lot, but still received excellent attention, a grand tour of my new Terrain, a run down on how to use all of the amazing features, and I never felt rushed. At the finance desk I feel like everything was explained well and the prices were fair. I LOVE my new vehicle and dont think I will ever go anywhere else to buy in the future. Thank you all!!!
After a horrible experience with a different dealership I really tried to temper any expectations I may have had regarding purchasing a vehicle. Wow!!!! My experience with Brian and everyone I interacted with at LaFontaine Highland was exceptional. I am confident that I will always begin any new search and purchase with your team - and have already told so many people about the exceptional experience.THANK YOU!!!!
Excellent service from Ryan at the service desk. Very cordial and attentive. Service (oil change and tire rotation) on vehicle was timely, however halfway home the TPMS warning light came on. Would appear that the sensors were not properly recalibrated after the tire rotation. Now I either have to do it myself or make another appointment to bring the vehicle back in which in very inconvenient.
In the video, the Technician stated that my vehicle had a serious oil leak but I got no explanation of where. Also, I check the cement floor under my vehicle religiously and there are no signs of oil and the oil level is never low. I am confused as to how I could have a significant oil leak with no other evidence.
Terrible experience! I ended up buying a car the same day from a different dealer because of the lack of respect shown by the LaFontaine sales rep.Backstory: I sent an email on a Monday detailing my budget and requirements. Got a response back in less than an hour saying they had plenty on the lot that met my criteria and would I like to set up an appointment. Upon arrival the sales rep started taking notes like he never even read my requirements. He then returns with figures and numbers that were far above what I had requested. I asked him what about the vehicles that he said he had on the lot that met my budget?Oh, I was mistaken, we dont have them on this lot was his response. When I confronted him on why he wasted my only day off to drive an hour to this dealership when he could have easily sent me an email saying they could not meet my budget, he had no explanation except..Im sorry. Its funny how when sending an email asking about car sales I get a response in less than an hour but I sent an email asking to speak with management about this incident and still have not heard back from anyone. Hence, this blasting review that should be a Zero Star, had that been an option.Shame on you LaFontaine team. This is a perfect example why car salesmen get a bad reputation.Honesty can go a long way and because of your sales reps practices you lost a customer for life.
After a disappointing experience with a different dealership, I call LaFontaine. My salesman Chris saved the day!! He was professional, courteous and efficient. Although LaFontaine is almost 50 miles from where I live it was definitely worth the drive. I got the vehicle I wanted, while receiving superior service. My vehicle was delivered to me and gone over just like I was at the dealership. Thank you for everything LaFontaine!! ❤
I love the service department and especially Jason. He does a great job. However the sales department has me so appalled that my husband and I are considering never using service again as well. The sales department namely Brian and the Sales Manager are lacking morals, ethics and values. I will make it my goal to deter anyone from going to LaFontaine to purchase a car in the future.
This was the ABSOLUTE best car buying experience ever. Every member of your team that we interacted with was awesome! Ron was our salesman, and he went above and beyond to make our experience awesome. The bistro is a great touch and the food there was amazing, and you guys paid for it! Just customer service at its finest!!
We have leased 2 vehicles and bought a new one today all with Ron Miller. I cant not say enough about his efficiency and sense of urgency to his customers. He has made us feel like we were his only clients every time! Today was our first time at the dealership because he had the first two cars DELIVERED to my house...i didnt even know that was an option until i met Ron!! His customer service goes above and beyond. The dealership is beautiful and the Finance Manager Laura is just as awesome!! They even bought is lunch today at their cafe!! We are highly satisfied and so grateful to have this Company as our Car dealership!!
I worked with Tonia Kelley in sales and she was great!Very professional and to the point no bs just straight forward. She gave me the time of day when a lot of other sales individuals wouldnt at other dealerships. Thanks lafontaine buick gmc of highland for making this vehicle purchase and easy one!
I needed to buy me a vehicle and my cousin told me about the LAFONTAINE BUICK GMC DEALERSHIP at 4000 W Highland Rd. Upon calling them I talk to Mr. J P Farmer a salesperson. He answered all of my questions and I made a appointment. As I walked through the door I found everyone to be helpful and professional. Mr. Farmer had just the vehicle I wanted and I drove it home.
We were extremely disappointed in the service that we received. We are long-standing customers. We got your vehicles here. When asked to give us a better deal and the service and knock some money off, the service provider lied and said we agreed on lowering the price by $30 which was absurd. Upon picking up our truck, they couldn’t find the paperwork. The gentleman working with me at one point stopped working with me so he could work with somebody else that just walked in. It took 25 minutes to pick up my completed service vehicle. We always work with Rich who is fabulous this time it was Jason and our experience was less than satisfactory. Very disappointed
I feel as though someone should hear about my experience in service. I had a 7:30AM appt on Wed to drop my van off and have repairs made. I dropped it Tuesday evening using the after hours drop box to ensure my vehicle was there for its scheduled spot time. I received one phone call the entire time it was there. Victoria was my service advisor. I had to call every time I needed a status update (which was about 6 or so times) and never once received communication from the service department or Victoria about anything. I called yet again Friday evening around 5 pm and spoke with Victoria who stated the vehicle was up on the lift they were trying to finish it because they closed at 6:00. Yet again no call. On Saturday appx 1:30 I had to call yet again and speak with the service manager to find out my car “had just gotten off the lift”. If I would not have called on Saturday I would have not seen my vehicle until Monday which I would have had to take a day off work to deal with. I was a service advisor for a prominent Harley Davidson dealership for nearly 10 years and I know communication is the number 1 most important thing and here there was none. I did find out from the service manager they were running behind schedule but again I was never communicated that. I have bought a couple of vehicles from this specific dealership as well as several members of my family but I will not again, and neither will they. Such a disappointment and I feel as though they are such a large money making dealership that my simple vehicle did not matter to them. They will make up the profits through other means. I feel as though This is NOT a service department that cares about regular hard working people as individuals and how they can make their lives more convenient, only about getting them in and out to make room for the next one. Very unprofessional.
I bough a certified pre-owned vehicle from LaFontaine and had a good experience purchasing the car and my representative Jacob was amazing. However, this dealership assured me I was getting a used vehicle that would be road safe and ready for my family. I havent even owned the car a month and ther serpentine belt already broke in the middle of driving and almost got me into an accident that cost me my safety. If they are going to sell used cars as is they need to make sure they check each and every part. I am lucky my children were not in the car.
Brian was awesome as usual! I called him on a Thursday evening and by Tuesday I was driving my new truck home. He took care of everything and got me exactly what I wanted, which in this market is not easy! My husband and I have been customers of Brians (and Tony before that) for 10+ years and we never even have to think about going anywhere else.
Had a 4:30 oil change appointment the I was told the wait would be 1.5 hours. Asked for the shuttle service, told the wait for that was 1/2 hour. Much to my surprise the wait was 10 minutes to the shuttle. Got home and received a text that my vehicle was ready in 1 hour. Would have waited an hour for the service to be completed, but not 1.5 hours that could have turned into 2 or more. The service was great, the shuttle driver was great.
I had a great experience with LaFontaine in Highland, MI.I made an appointment and then met with Adam Hufeld who walked me through and found a Chili Red 2021 Encore GX for a 3 year lease agreement. It is a very nice vehicle. The deal is perfect for my situation and I intend to continue with lease agreements three years from now. I am very happy with the LaFontaine team and the professionalism shown by all the team members throughout my purchase. I especially like the follow up measures taken to ensure satisfaction throughout the transaction. Dean Aubry
Initially my experience here was outstanding -- so much so that we bought multiple cars here and recommended them to family members. However, we repeatedly had issues with the service department. Not once in the 5-6 times that I had my car in, did they properly inflate my tires. I brought this concern up to the service manager, reminded my service rep, and asked that they be double checked before delivering the car back to me. My ATS has performance tires, and so has an unusual tire pressure recommendation of 35psi in the front and 40 in the back. Most of the time all the tires were inflated somewhere in between. The last time I visited, where I specifically reminded them to make sure the pressure was correct, they actually inflated them backwards (40 in the front, 35 in the back). My father also had problems with the radio in his new truck having repeating static in the background -- the service dept seemed to ignore his concerns and said they couldnt do anything for him -- an independent repair shop eventually found the recall on the radio and got it fixed. If I cant count on a dealership to get the tire pressure correct on my car, after repeatedly having problems, talking to the service manager and reminding the service rep, what else are they messing up?
They offered the very lowest on my trade in, almost insulting me with the offer. The gentleman I spoke with was professional, but did absoutly not seem to go out of his way what so ever to try and help. Shopping for a new vehicle and go to several, I found this place to be the least enjoyable. However my experience is my own, and you will have yours. Check them out and see how they handle you and your situation. Not every single person is going to have an incredible experience, so keep that in mind.
My car was in the shop for 6 weeks, I was told after week 3 it was still there because they were waiting on fuel injectors that were on back order and all 4 needed to be replaced. When I called on week 6 to check the status, I was told the car would be looked at the following day to see what was wrong with it. I asked about the fuel injectors that I was told we were waiting on and they said nothing was wrong with the fuel injectors, they were all fine. When I came to pick my car up the next day cause I was told it was ready, they needed to still put the engine hood on, none of the paperwork was completed, and when I asked what the problem was they said all they did was replace some spark plugs and switch some wires around and hope it doesn’t happen again. I needed an oil change and tire rotation as well. And asked if there was any kind of discount from the $75 I paid for oil change since I received false communication for the whole 6 weeks and was told nothing was “really wrong with the car and nothing was replaced.” I was told the oil change is already at a discounted price and there was nothing they could do. This was the 6th time I have had my 2 year old car in the shop there. And multiple times I have received false information while my car was being worked on.
My husband & I just purchased a new GMC Yukon from LaFontaine earlier today. We had a great experience with our salesman Eric Szymczak; he was very nice, friendly, outgoing, informative, patient, & courteous. He greeted us as soon as we walked in and walked us through everything step by step, he was very knowledgeable about the vehicle we wanted along with other vehicles we had questions and were curious about. He knew his stuff! Also a shoutout to the finance rep Tony, he was very helpful & informative when it came to adding extra warranty options. The lot was huge and very impressive from the moment we drove in, so much variety and selection it made a good impression right off the bat. We are extremely satisfied with our new truck and are so glad we went to LaFontaine in Highland for our purchase! Thank you so much again Eric!
Always a pleasure to have service done at LaFontaine Buick in Highland. My service rep John Pool was friendly and professional. The wait in the lounge was a comfortable atmosphere and the work was done quickly and with a car wash to boot. I will always come here for service.
My purchase went very smooth with Ben Curtis. He delivered exactly what he promised. He was patient while I waited for my GM discount to come though and spent time with me reviewing the operation of the trucks functions with me. I would have no problem making another purchase from him in the future. Thanks Ben !!!
The person who worked with me Josh was really AMAZING!! VERY FRIENDLY , Very kind, walked me threw the whole process advised me of everything before it even happened!! You definitely need more people like Josh he definitely deserves a raise or even a bonus!! Made me feel very welcomed!! Again thank u Josh for all your help!! It was a pleasure working with you!!!! Keep up the AMAZING WORK!!!
From the making of my appointment, to picking up my completed vehicle, the service was FANTASTIC!!!!! I was given updates throughout the time it was at the dealership - which I LOVED. Wendy was fabulous to work with. Very understanding of my issues and relayed them to the technician clearly.
UPDATE: Their service lane manager emailed me apologizing for the miscommunication on the timing and refunded the price of the oil change.----When I set up the appointment, I was told it should take approximately 1.5 hours at most. I was also told that since I recently purchased my car from the dealership my first 2 oil changes would be free. The appointment ended up being almost 3 hours, causing me to miss one meeting entirely and be late for another. I even texted the advisor requesting an update on the time frame 2 hours in and never got a response. When I got the invoice, it showed that the oil change was not free, but I literally did not have the time to question it.At the end of the day, I got an oil change and tire alignment, staff were nice, and the inspection video is cool; but, not worth it in my opinion.
Went to lease a vehicle and the process was very smooth. No problems, until I signed on the dotted line. They delivered my car damaged and didnt tell me until it was in my driveway, they told me I can bring it back to the body shop and they will take care of it. When I took the car for repairs they gave a loaner which was WAY cheaper than what I was paying for. I was ok with it until they kept the car for SIX WEEKS because they took forever to approve the invoice to fix the car (this was told to me by the body shop manager) when I spoke to Karen she did not want to help me but transfer me to Joel which Joel did not want to cover the difference in cost of my car they kept and I was paying for. Too bad Joel is that money hungry because they knew I was coming back for another car from there. Joel you were only nice to me when I was putting money in your pocket and that is so sad. Do not respond and apologize nor ask for me to reach out to Mr. Simmons because I did and he didnt want to respond to any of my 3 messages either. I referred a lot of people here and lease my cars from here but after I realized if they arent getting money to their pocket they dont care about you!
I purchased a vehicle from Aaron S. at LaFontaine and it was amazing. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. He had everything ready ahead of time and I was in and out in probably 1 hour tops! Such an enjoyable experience and will definitely repeat business with them in the future! No funny business or last minute tricks by LaFontaine. And they go above and beyond to make sure you are happy and taken care of. Great job and keep up the good work. Hope to see you guys in the near future!Angela B.
My experience here was exceptional and far exceeded my expectations. I leased a Buick Encore GX and the process was easy and far from stressful. My salesmen was Lou and he was what set the tone for the great buying experience. He was very accommodating and worked hard to make everything fall into place. One of the nicest guys you’ll meet and knows exactly how to put the costumer first. Lou and the guys here at lafontine really know how to kick it into high gear and make the process quick easy and convent for the customer. We were able to take care of most of the paperwork and such over the phone and he was even able to have the license plate ready to go before we even left the dealership. I strongly recommend to anyone looking to buy or lease to go through Lou and the team here at lafontine because in the end of the day it was the easiest and least stressful car buying experience possible.
The LaFontaine service department is pretty good and I trust them 100% for dealer only work. I have had vehicles in a few times and always went well.... They even fixed a warranty repair (evaporative emissions solenoid/valve) that another GM dealership messed up and went bad after a few months. They fully explained to me what the other people had done wrong and their repair held fine for another 6 years and 80k miles and was still good when I sold the vehicle this summer.
Everything went absolutely perfectly. I had an appointment for 7 AM and it’s 702 was let into the facility. Tim Brown my service agent was friendly efficient and thorough. I expected to be there for over an hour, but my oil change and inspection we’re done in less than 45 minutes. Overall it was a very enjoyable experience.
UPDATE!2 weeks later, I have my car back and everything is fixed!! Thomas Montgomery took care of all my issues as well as jaysen douglas. Thank you for turning a bad issue, around. (I will be changing my review from 1 star to 5)I bought a used vehicle from this dealership 2 weeks ago 5/29/21. I was told that I couldn’t pick it up for a couple days because it had to be inspected By their service department. Of course we asked “what if something is wrong” and Michael Bair, our salesman, says “well of course we will take care of it before you get the vehicle”Fast forward 3 days 6/1/21, I got a call from Eric, Michael’s assistant, that it was ready and everything came back clean on it and was ready to be picked up. I drove an hour and 15 minutes to pick the car up. Leave the dealership and 3 lights came on, on the dash. Stablitrak, service brake assist and ABS.The service manager reached out to me making sure everything was clear. I emailed back, NO RESPONSE.We have a scanner and it pulled a bunch of codes saying what could be the cause for the lights to be on.So since then, I have called 3 times, left 2 voicemails, emailed 3 times now and have gotten NO RESPONSE to what is to be done from here on out.So I’m hoping leaving this review will hopefully get them to contact me back and do right as a business. If you say you’re going to inspect it and fix anything on it that’s wrong before it comes into my possession, you should as a business, stick to your word. I will be letting anyone I speak to about this vehicle and dealership know about my very unpleasant experience and to let them know not to buy a vehicle from here expecting a good outcome. My boyfriend was actually thinking about buying a new truck from them and we will be taking our business else where because of this experience. Bottom line, stick to your word and fix the issues in the vehicle and don’t lie to me that it’s in perfect shape.
Dropped our vehicle off for several issues, oil change, tire rotation, rear dvd not working, moveable running board hanging up/failing to operate, and a shudder in the drivetrain. We made an appointment 2.5-3 weeks ahead of time. Dropped the vehicle off the night before the appointment. The vehicle sat for 3-3.5 days before even being looked at. I had to call several times to get a status of the repairs, to find out they had not even pulled the vehicle in. Upon escalating my concerns of having an appointment, that was ignored to the service manager, the vehicle was finally pulled in to get the concerns addressed. The service manager agreed there was a transmission issue. He informed us they were 3 weeks behind. I inquired as to why we made an appointment in the first place? He dismissed my question. The “transmission guy” finally drove our vehicle with “the computer” to not find the issue. We were informed that “if the computer doesn’t tell them what’s wrong, they can’t fix the vehicle.” Apparently, mechanics have lost their ability to diagnose problems with a vehicle and solely rely on computers now. In the meantime, they had not changed the oil, rotated the tires, addressed the dvd concern or looked at the running board issue. Upon my inquiring why, those repairs were finally started, 4 days into the vehicle being there. Now we were further waiting around for parts due to the dealership waiting to service the remaining concerns. They were, again, unable to diagnose our concerns with the running board. At this point I escalated my concerns up the chain of command within the dealership, only to be laughed at and hung up on. Calls to the General Manager remain unreturned, many days after calling and leaving messages on separate days. Got the vehicle home to find the running board stuck in the down position after being told there was nothing wrong with it by the Service Manager. At this point, we have opened a case with GM since no one at the dealership seems to care about our concerns. Customer service has no value here. Buyer beware.
This is the 3 rd new car I purchased from LaFontaine I always know what I want. I call ahead and tell the salesman what time I’m coming and to have the car ready for me to test drive. I always take my car in for service to LaFontaine all the staff is courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. They tell me what I need to have done and look for any recalls. I have a Cadillac SUV when the car is ready it’s always clean they have it washed. I also have a 98 Corvette that I took in for service last year they have a special team that works on Corvettes. You can bet I’ll be buying my next car from LaFontaine that’s my dealership.Carole Smoter
Kevin Bright was extremely helpful. He kept us informed on every step of the repair process, found us the most cost- and time-effective solution available, and had terrific customer service. He also really went above and beyond, taking pictures of the damage and sending them to us, along with ensuring that we had all the necessary paperwork to make our warranty claim.Loren Messina also did a really wonderful job with the loaner vehicle, making the process smooth and enjoyable.Overall, it was a real pleasure having our work done at LaFontaine!
I came in for an oil change and tire rotation. I was greeted by Timothy Brown who took good care of me. I got my coffee, read my paper and before I was done, he came to tell me my car was ready. This was under an hour. It was the usual wonderful service I get from your dealership. My husband and I have never been disappointed at LaFontaine.
We are not from that area but we saw a used car there we really liked and jumped on it straight away.I’d never bought a used car before but the experience is a lot different from buying a new one. I felt like we were just trying to get it all done quickly and there was little connection between staff and customer (us). When you buy a used car I understand the staff don’t know about the product as well as a new vehicle, but product knowledge of anything you sell should be important. The car we looked at wasn’t a make the dealership sell so I understand a lack of familiarity about the car. However, sales are about knowledge. Know your product. We did get a pretty good deal on the car after some haggling (which is what you do). We waited about 2 hours to be told I’d messed up the financing application (which was a cluster on my phone!) Not great communication to us while we were waiting patiently. Then when my wife finally picked the car up later in the evening, everything was rushed and there was no information about what was what kind of things the car could do (keycodes, brake switch, other “gadgets”). Don’t stay open till 9pm if you don’t want people there at 9pm buying a car!!The gas was only 1/4 full (although I hear it’s not the done thing to sell a used car with a tank full of gas!)I guess the experience of buying a used car being really different was an eye opener for me. I was used to the car buying experience being more positive.Oh well, you live and learn, right?
My husband and I just bought our first Cadillac with the help of Grace Perez our salesperson. She was very nice and was on top of everything. Absolutely wonderful to work with. Beautiful dealership, loved the boutique lol. Everyone we came in contact with was nice and very helpful. Thank you Grace I absolutely love my car!
I purchased a 2019 GMC Terrain Denali from this dealership as well as leased two others from lafontaine, this is my first gm product in over 20 years and will be my last. My gmc has 19500 miles and the rear brakes are grinding. The service department told me that it is because I didn’t drive the car enough and a $400 rear brake job is required. When asked why the fronts aren’t bad as well, they had no clue. They sat the same duration and at the same location. This is an example of poor gm quality and lack of credibility to stand behind their product. My wife’s Honda CRV and our family Toyota Rav4 are excellent vehicles. No more gm or Lafontain vehicles for me.
When I made my appt for an oil change I was told it would be covered. My husband got there to drop my car off and they said it was going to cost money so he chose the $89 oil change even though we shouldnt have had to pay anything at all. It ended up being $130. I am beyond mad about this and will never come back for an oil change or anything else for that matter. That is absolutely outragious
I purchased a 2015 GMC TerraIn from Tasha and her staff, they were helpful and made the process simple and quick, Tom A, went out of his way to be helpful, and when it came a time for a repair Vicki A, was wonderful she helped me with a loaner due I and my wife have multiple medical appointments as heart patients, she called me and kept me in the loop and walked me through the bill and the warranty process. Thus far all of the staff have either called or emailed me to connect on any problems, and to remind me of services offered to keep my car rolling. I would recommend buying a car here I have nothing but good things to say as this staff has treated me super, thanks again😀
Well the Car went back for repair Some parts were replaced before and other was installed damaged, not sure why after charging $9,275.85 and decided to used the old damaged part. the installation was not done correctly so need to be replaced again. The free loaners seem to be older (2013 old) and smokers cars (Tire Pressure light on, Rear wiper broken off/Missing, not cleaned, Driver seat rock a little). Drives fine.
EXCELLENT service in all areas (sales, financial, customer service). My family has used this dealership for years- both NEW and USED cars, lease and purchase. They always go above and beyond to make the process enjoyable, timely, professional, and welcoming.HIGHLY recommend!!!
You had the truck that I wanted but could not locate locally (or anywhere else for that matter). Tonia Kelley was very helpful through the remote buying process and everyone at the dealership did what they could to work with my situation of buying from out of state and shipping to Wisconsin. Great selection and helpful staff!
The people inside are very nice. The people on the phone generally are very nice, but having service done isn’t about the people talking it’s about a repair being done in a timely manner and the timely manner is where this dealership has a problem. Low communication or faulty communication from the service department. Thought going to a home town dealership would get some honesty.
Henri Kenneweg was amazing! Was referred to him via my boyfriend because he’s bought a car with him in the past and he lived up and exceeded my expectations. Never a big fan of the car buying experience but he made it easy, comfortable, and was so kind above it all. A++! Wish my purchase wasn’t a 6 year loan so I could back and buy again from him sooner! Haha
Michael Ko is a real lifesaver. He really is a professional, among all professionals. He was prompt in locating me a vehicle, within my budget. I left Ford to join the LaFontaine Family and I will follow Mike wherever he goes, so hold on to him. And give him a raise, or bonus or maybe even both! Great customer service is the beauty of the sales industry. And I have never been in and out of a dealership so quickly which is great for a small business owner like myself.
This dealership simply does not care about customer service or retention of customers. They seem to have a sell you the car, wipe their hands mentality to doing business. I have had the worst experience dealing with this company on many occasions at this point. Phone calls never get returned. When they do answer the phone, you get told theyll call you back, never do. When you ask to speak with someone else, they transfer you to a voicemail which never gets returned. I am currently in the process of trying to get a warranty refunded on a vehicle they sold me, which was traded in six months after I bought it from them. They told me I had to physically bring in paperwork confirming the mileage and sale, so, reluctantly, after questioning why I couldnt just email or fax it, I did. I was told by a representative that the paperwork would take around 4-6 weeks to process as it had to be approved by GM. Seemed reasonable, but was still skeptical due to their lack of care returning voicemails/phone calls. So, I call back about 5 weeks later to check on the status of the warranty, but to no surprise, the lady at the dealership had no idea/record of me turning in any documents to support this refund. Incredibly frustrating, to say the least. We are now at week 7 of this process since I initially brought in the paperwork, multiple voicemails, calls, and inexcusable ignorance to our situation on behalf of this dealership. I highly, highly recommend using a different dealership if youre in need of a vehicle.

2022-05-17Chris Moore made my whole buying experience stress free by doing lots of upfront work via online, effectively communicating w/me and exchange of information prior to me visiting the dealership...On my visit, the process too was efficient, clean and problem-free.My time and experience in the past during a car purchase had always been laborious, time consuming and very difficult to bear. This time was just the opposite, I truly appreciate that this experience was a joy. Thank you.

2022-03-22Zach in used car sales was TRULY a pleasure to work with. He was so kind and helpful and there was no pressure. He really went above and beyond and even when I told him I wasn’t going to buy the vehicle he was so polite and understanding and didn’t make me feel bad. I ended up selling them my car and he took care of me with no hesitation. This is the kind of customer service experience that I won’t forget when buying a car in the future. I’ll definitely be back and recommend my family and friends to this place because wow. Thanks so much Zach.

2021-10-11Oil change service took 2 hours even with appointment. Vehicle returned dirty. My service advisor went to lunch during the service process so I ended up seeking out help from another associate once I hit the 2 hr waiting mark. This new associate attempted to charge me 10% more than I had initially signed up for. When I questioned this price increase the explanation was that my oil type cost more. I then pointed out that the documentation I signed covered all oil types and the issue was addressed. My vehicle was returned with oil residue on the door, wheel and push to start.I will continue to search for a dealership that can do basic things properly.

2022-07-05Be extremely careful buying a used car at this dealership. The sales people will tell you one thing, sell you the car and once you are out of the lot your calls will not be returned. Any promises they have made while you were at the dealership will not be kept. I spent over a year with a 2014 Buick encore which had no end of problems. They called me and got me into a Dodge avenger which has been a much better car. Unfortunately, not all of their promises for repairs were kept. A number of items were also removed from my car while it was being detailed; these items were never returned despite numerous calls to the dealership. Be very cautious when dealing with Lafontaine.

2022-02-23First and foremost they allowed me to tag a Acadia that was supposed to be delivered in February. I did not have to order which was nice. Jeff Beaudian was very helpful and communicated with me as best he could with pricing and delivery date of the vehicle. It was a very easy transaction.

2022-05-18Jacob Roumayah was AMAZING and I highly recommend him! He helped me get the perfect car and was very knowledgeable. He was kind and went above and beyond in every way and exceeded my expectations. This was my first time going to a LaFontaine dealership and my experience was top notch. I will definitely be back and recommend them in the future.

2022-06-28For the most part I have been satisfied with LaFontaine Buick GMC. Recently, I responded to a safety recall notice and spoke with an advisor to schedule the repair. The advisor confirmed that the parts were in and therefore we scheduled the service. I added an oil change to the service agenda for that day.An advisor called to inform me that the oil change was complete and a safety inspection regarding the recall was completed and I would need to reschedule for the safety recall because the parts were not available. I was surprised to learn this because I scheduled the appointment for the sole purpose of addressing the safety recall and was informed at that time that the parts were available for the repair.

2022-02-24I am literally so happy with my purchase. I was going to walk away considering someone else was looking at the car I was in the market for. Anthony convinced me to hang on and stay and I’m so glad he did. Even with all the bad luck I was having I was still able to drive away with the car. He did such a great job! I couldn’t be more happy coming here and getting an amazing car. Thank you so much for this great experience!

2022-03-19If it looks like it will take an hour or so to check out would be helpful to have some communication as we wait as to how long it may be. Realize not a firm timeline, particularly when we were there to pick up our truck on a Saturday. The gentlemen we deal with Jeff and the closer were great people - helpful and we appreciated hearing about them.

2022-05-17LaFontaine is all about customer service. I brought my challenger in for warranty replacement on my tires. I did not purchase this vehicle there. I called and explained my problem and was told to bring it up there and they would see what they could do. I ended up with 4 new tires!! They came to my house, picked my car up,and delivered it back to me!! I was fortunate to have David Gammouh take care of my problem. He went right to work with the warranty company. This young man is a pleasure to work with. He kept me updated and followed through with everything promised. This is 5 star 🌟 service!! Im a customer for life. Thank you so much LaFontaine!!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
