In short- the best service ever! Not only was Josh a great sales rep while leasing my first Volvo, but he even took car of me months later when I got a flat. The LaFontaine team took care of everything- from getting my car towed, fixed, and valeted back to me, all within 72 hours and me living an hour away from the dealer. Amazing service, great people!

I bought a Certified by Volvo S60 that was previously owned by Enterprise, and ultimately I still had to pay to fix my broken A/C, my faulty sunroof, my mismatched tires, my missing weatherstripping, my missing trunk liner clips, and instead of a certified by Volvo S60, I got a certified by LaFontaine S60 and the only good thing I have to say about my experience is that the weather was niceEdit: Matter of fact. The Fusion Red metallic S60 in their photos with the bow on the hood is the EXACT one that I purchased

Went in for a Polestar 2, but had to deal with Volvo LaFontaine sales. Shady sales tactics by the reps will try to get you in a more expensive vehicle, as theyll claim the one youve built and priced was just sold, no matter what configuration you specify. This was later verified when I declined the more expensive car as the rep followed up with we refunded the deposit of the other guy for you because he was being too difficult yet the vehicle did not match my spec anyway (not once did I ask for a trailer hitch). Further shady tactics include rushing you in to securing insurance days before delivery and prior to confirmation of credit.Reps will also tell you to text them, but claim your messages are disappearing for some reason when you follow up on a no-reply. The messages were miraculously found after the order was placed. I was also dismissed from the reps office when trying to talk numbers, as the rep was too distracted to work, claiming their friends dads angry and wants to talk. Incredibly unprofessional. For whatever reason, discussions with Volvo Financial Services would only happen between 4:30PM and 6:00PM leading to delays and a 3 day credit review process.Visa holders beware, they will take loads of sensitive information from you even with a good US credit score. Youll be told they dont see issues with lease approvals and pressured to finalize a sale, but may get denied anyway. I will be monitoring my credit and identity for the foreseeable future as documents they requested are not in anyones possession outside of the US government.Horrible experience, cannot recommend in good conscience.

The team made my purchase super simple. I was greeted right away. Kyle was AMAZING, very knowledgeable about his recommendations. It was such a pleasure, service was top notch. I think Im stuck buying Volvos due to the service alone.

Went in for a wheel alignment after having some new tires installed, but the car was returned to me with a severe off-center steering angle. Didnt truly register until I got on M10 and had to constantly adjust my steering inputs to avoid sideswiping other cars or hitting the walls.I called the same day to tell them the car was nearly undrivable, was informed that there was no one available till Monday afternoon, so I would have to drive with the issue over the weekend. After having the steering adjusted, I told them I wanted to speak with the manager about compensation due to them releasing an unsafe car to a customer. Was informed that he wasnt available that day, but he would be asked to contact me. I gave them over a week, but never got a phone call. Instead, I got a survey to review them on Google Maps, which I was going to update to reflect this experience.Had another issue on a separate occasion. The pilot assist function on my Volvo was pulling heavily to the left and crossing over the road lines during a drive down to Florida on I75. Happened in both clear day time and raining night scenarios. I informed service of this, thinking the system required a reset. I was instead told its not like Tesla auto pilot, and its just a basic cruise control. Instead of talking note of my observation and either getting the technician to reset the system, or passing on customer feedback to Volvo that there are some glitches which require addressing, he was instead condescending. Customer feedback is how auto makers discover issues with their vehicles. The job of service centers is to inform manufacturers of possible problems, especially dangerous ones. The only reason I would give this dealership a star is because the head technician here is absolutely excellent at his job. Hes worked on my car before and everything he has done comes back properly corrected. Unfortunately he isnt always available to work on every vehicle, as was the case for my alignment. They are free to contact me via email and rectify this problem, or I will make a formal complaint to Volvo corporate. I want to see if they are capable of following these instructions. I will not respond to replies on this review from them.

My wife and I recently purchased a used car at Lafontaine Volvo. We received friendly and professional treatment from everyone we dealt with. Our salesman Kyle and his manager Tom went out of their way to accommodate us, and we believe we got a good deal on the car. Business manager Lexi closed the deal, pleasantly explaining all the paperwork. We rolled out happy, Thanks!

Recently purchased a polestar 2 from this dealership and Josh Lattie went even farther than above and beyond making this the most pleasant car purchase for me. Thank you so much !

Both times I had my car here for maintenance took over 2 weeks. Granted the work done seems alright and is under warranty I was frustrated with the customer service and how slow the process seemed. After my last visit I’m not sure if they washed my car with sandpaper and now I have a rear light that just stays on whenever I lock the car so I decided to post photos. As you can see my hood was scratched up as well

Tried selling me a car (2011 Subaru Legacy) which looks perfectly fine but when I took it to mechanic we found out that heating seats were not working and other tons of fault codes in multiple ECU’s, sales guy was very confident that heated seats are working as per his service manager and to my surprise heating module was not even communicating, so I don’t know how he was heating it!!! He says since we were testing it on hot day it was not heating, which sounds funny and weird at the same time. Lots of electrical issues with the vehicle. Before buying any used car from this delayed do take it to a good mechanic for a review.

Dealership/buying experience:1. Polestar is clearing going for price transparency, however the price given on website build + price did not match final paperwork at dealer (more expensive by 10-15%).2. The dealer has a max credit card purchase limit that is low considering they are taking down payments on vehicles. I was not made aware of this. Lucky I had a debit card on me but this is really inconvenient.3. The signing/ pick up process was very long. Took about 5hrs. I arrived at the scheduled and the salesmen was not ready, so I had to wait 20-30mins and no one even greeted me. Not expected from a high end dealership. When doing the final paperwork, the finance associate printed the wrong paperwork, so I had to sign document twice.Polestar Experience:1. The polestar with base rims+tire package comes with summer tires. This seems unacceptable for a high end vehicle to come with cheap summer tires (specially in the middle of Michigan winter). The car is $50k+ and the expectation is to immediately go buy $1k new tires? The salesmen said he had a customer get into an accident because they were unable to stop effectively in winter driving contortions.2. The tech in the Polestar is definitely subpar for the market. The range estimation is unclear and confusing (gives multiple range estimates in differently locations). The app works about 50% of the time, and will often require you to re-sign in and link the vehicle.3. The car comes with two keys. One is a traditional key fob the other is a valet key that has a hard wired battery. The salesmen stated it was $400 to replace the valet key if the battery dies and recommends not using it. So whats the point?
