Oh lordy, so good. We sat at the bar, which Id definitely recommend if you can, as you get full service and its quiet and well-lit - the table area in comparison is a bit echoey.Service is friendly and fast, and theres plenty of parking in the lot.We ordered the poutine with bacon and cheese curds and it was out of this world good. The gravy was exceptional and the fries are cool - twisty and seasoned!I had the baby cheeseburger and it was...well, huge. I had to take half home. The side salad it came with was extremely fresh and very good (I got the house blue cheese dressing). My partner ordered the fireball pizza and it was a bit spicier than he anticipated, I think (judging by the sweat beading on his face 😁). It was really good, though!
Awesome small town eatery located close to Lake Michigan, breweries, wineries, and so much more. They have a great selection of beers, wines, and liquors. The bartenders can whip up some awesome mixed drinks as well including my favorite, the Moscow Mule! Great appetizers including excellent chicken wings and a huge portion of poutine. If you leave hungry, its your own fault. The inside is certainly longer than it is wider, and Id say the size is the only downside. As long as you get a table, youll have a great time! Some low tops, some high tops, and some outdoor seating as well for the nice warm days/nights.Make sure if youre in town and finishing up some wine tasting, that you head over to Lake Street Eats for some delicious foodThis review is based on multiple visits.
Top notch local restaurant pub. Picked it from google on our way back home. Awesome food, lake perch was amazing, the roast beef sandwich was humongous. Love there French fries. As our waitress said potato wedge mixed with a curly fry. Waitress was very attentive and friendly.
The food was delicious. Reasonable prices. I Had the Italian beef. Very good. But I do recommend you spend the extra $1.50 for provolone and sweet peppers. Unless youre very hungry, the baby burger is more than enough. Fries were very tasty and crispy. Nice atmosphere. A bit noisy.
My wife and daughter stopped in while on vacation. Place was very clean and wait staff was super friendly. We ordered the poutine and it was absolutely amazing. Wife ordered the walleye and my daughter and I ordered their specialty burgers. All our main courses were the highlight of food on our trip so far. I highly recommend it to anyone in the area!
Cocktails were delicious, twisty fries were all of the best parts of Arbys but with a homemade feel, chicken on the sandwich was really fresh. Overall a good experience. Not five stars cause we did not get the garlic knots we ordered, but we did not get charged for them either so it was just a mistake. Overall I would recommend and I would go back if I was in the area.
Nice enough folks work here, but the food was average at best. we were extremely hungry, or we might have departed before ordering because nothing on the menu really looked good to us. But, to be fair, we dont eat a lot of bread or fried food, so that limited our options a bit. Their stuffed mushrooms were quite tasty.
We stopped here on a weekend away. we got a cup of broccoli cheese and chicken dumpling soup (both amazing!). my husband got the big/regular burger and I got the “baby” one. the burgers were amazing: fresh, delicious, the bun was awesome. our server was so sweet and friendly, highly recommend this place!
Came to Lake Street Eats last weekend and was looking forward to trying the food, but never got to taste it due to bad service. After my family and I were seated we waited and waited for someone to take our order and no one came. After waiting 15 minutes another couple arrived and the server took their order almost immediately. We gave them the benefit of doubt and waited another 5 minutes and still no one came to take our order so we got up and left. Whats most disappointing is that Ive been coming to Bridgman for years and never have had such a dining experience.
We were sampling some area wines and stopped here for a quick lunch. The atmosphere was casual and welcoming. Service was fast and friendly. I had chicken dumpling soup and my husband had white cheddar poblano soup. Both were excellent. The BBQ brisket sandwich was very good as well.
Chicken Wings and Burgers are A1! The pizza is a big winner as well if you have a big party. When the Poutine is back on the menu I highly recommend that also. Atmosphere is nice, and they have a really neat design for the bathroom even! Staff is chill also!Check this place when in Bridgman!
The pot roast sandwich, pot roast nachos, and burgers are delicious! Truly outstanding. Everyone in our party felt the same way. Service was excellent. Atmosphere pleasant. Able to carry on a conversation comfortably. This is my new favorite place. I cannot wait to return. A real gem.
Located on the main street through town, Lake Street Eats is easy to find.We both had the chicken and dumpling soup, and shared a margharita pizza. The soup tasted home made, like mom or I would make it. My companion and I both enjoyed it.She also enjoyed the margharita pizza, and we almost finished it off. The price was steep. There is only 1 refill on coffee. Very nice waitress.Dont forget to like reviews and photos you like. This helps the reviewer.
We ordered the walleye with fries and coleslaw, small burger with salad and cream of mushroom soup with water to drink. Loved the walleye, fries and salad with the yummy gorgonzola dressing. The cream of mushroom soup was to die for. Low spots were the burger which seemed to be a frozen patty with a dry, tough texture and the water. I told the waitress the water tasted bad and she said she got it out of the fountain drink machine. When I asked for tap water, she said it probably would be worse tasting. Got charged a $1 more for the soup than she told me it was and when I brought it up, she said well she didnt know the price. When I asked her if she tried tasting the bad water, she said she cant taste anything because she has a cold. Not sure if I will go back.
Found this little gem after a day of blueberry picking. Food was on the spot. We had the Canadian walleye and the Baby back home burger. Both were fresh and cooked to perfection. The kids had the chicken bites which they loved. Fried yes, but not overcooked. The atmosphere was nice our waitress was sweet. Would definitely return. :)
Came here on the last day of a camping trip. An excellent place to relax, the decoration was simple and bright and delightfully modern. I really enjoyed the meal, it was unbelievably inexpensive compared to the taste of the meal itself. The service was very cheery and delightful. Our server was very kind and was helpful when asked about another place to go to eat ice cream afterwards. (Kilwins in St. Josephs) would love to go again, a phenomenal value!
All the food I had was absolutely amazing. The fried pickles were the best I have ever had, the garlic knots with marinara sauce were delicious, and the thin crust pizza is definitely worth the wait. Our server was very friendly and always made sure we had what we wanted
Clean and bright with tons of windows. Simple, creative deco [read: bathroom floors are made of pennies!].Menu is not too crowded, but there is a wide variety. I loved the BRISKET NACHOS, and the GARLIC KNOTS [crisp outside, soft center]. Burger was Hugh and the bacon was thick and flavorful.Craft beers, local beers, and several twists on Moscow mules.
Very awesome small restaurant, wonderful appetizer selection, mostly pizza in the main menu but there is a burger chicken sandwich and a few other things. But over all good experience. They open at 11, but cant serve alcohol till 12 just a heads up! Haha I would go back.
$18.00 for (2) very small prebreaded filets of Walleye. I had to send it back 1st time as it was actually burnt on tail end. The replacement order was pretty much the same.We dont mind spending the money but, if you are gonna charge that kind of $ for Walleye it needs to be fresh frozen and then hand battered. I have had better at Long Johns. Only saving grace was our bartender. We are traveling, just going where the road leads. We wont be back!
We ordered a grilled hamburger with crab cakes only to find out before the food came out that the burgers were really stove top fried so we cancelled the order only to be told we could not cancel the order since it was already being prepared?? After we insisted on cancelling our poor server said she would just pay for the burger. And then she brought us out the 2 smallest crab cakes youd ever see for $14! I left a $4 tip since I guess she was made to purchase our unwanted burger and the crab cakes were very fishy tasting so overall very poor experience
There are a few things on the menu that set Lake Street Eats apart from other restaurants in town, but the quality is often off the mark. The pizzas are very good and there are many options, but many of the appetizers are simply fried food and dont use very good ingredients. The crust on the pizza is really good, but the ingredients are average (the magherita pizza for instance had cherry tomatoes that did more to water down the pizza and the basil boasted was almost tasteless). The cocktails are often creative and use local liquors sometimes. The also have a decent draft list and offer some bottled beer as well. We usually recommend this place to people when they come to Bridgman, but for better food we often send them outside of town. We are hoping they will attempt (over time) to seek out more local food options. Its definitely worth a try!
Overall good food and friendly staff. The reason I’m giving three stars is because they do not have a changing station in either of their bathrooms forcing me to either change my son on the floor, at the table or in the freezing car... Also our waitress shook out the doormat and while I’d like to think she washed her hands I firmly believe she didn’t. Would I go back?...not while my kids are in diapers.
Just the place to go for good food and great dining experience. We were hot and tired from a day of site seeing and want to recommend their hospitality, food and beverage selection. We came away refreshed. You wont be disappointed.Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed Lake Street Eats.
What a terrible experience. Ordered a few different food items, poutine, Italian beef, and nachos. The nachos were cold and served with stale chips. When we shared that with the bartender/manager (who never checked back to see if we needed anything) told us that, “well you ordered them so you have to pay for them.” Hahaha. “The kitchen made them so you should’ve ate them.” Hahaha. Is this real? Where am I right now? Needless to say I gave her $23 of our $35 check. I’d be willing to bet she voided the whole order and kept the cash. So, if you want to eat here bring cash. If you’re the owner of this establishment, hire a new manager, she is driving local business away.
$12 burger added bacon and cheese was a dry inedible mess. Wet sandwich came out dry with no au jus on side, we then asked for some to receive a very watery chicken broth. We ate the salad. Wouldnt have left a bad review but only 10% was taken off our bill and we ate less than 50%.
The Mojo Chicken sandwich is amazing. Fries are a different cut standing out from other places. This is a place you can have a delicious meal and a couple drinks. This place isnt somewhere you feel like you have to yell because of the noise just to have a conversation.

2022-06-23This was a nice little bar that was trendy and cozy. It was kind of an artsy atmosphere. As far as their menu, they have a lot of local beer, which is pretty cool. For food, I got the chicken sandwich and my dad ordered a hamburger. It was all good but nothing special. The portions are not too huge. When we cashed out, they did not have change for a $100, which I thought was a little odd. The place was half full. So we werent the only ones in there. The waitress eventually got the manager to resolve the issue. One of the things that was disappointing was that they did not have garlic knots and that seemed to be a pretty popular item when I was browsing some of the reviews.Overall, this is a nice little trendy bar with food thats not bad. The local beer selection is quite a good attribute to this place as well.

2022-06-17My husband and I had lunch today. We started with Prime Rib Tips.We both enjoyed this dish. The meat was cooked perfectly.I ordered the Bar-B-Que Pulled Pork sandwich. It was large enough for 2 People! It was delicious. (My husband ate half LOL!)I had a side cup of Lobster BisqueIt was extremely thick. I didnt even eat half of this soup.My husband ordered fish Tacos. He was not impressed. If you order this dish you should ask for extra sauce on the side. Our waitress was Mikaela (sp)She was very professional, attentive and friendly. No other employee spoke to us the whole time we were there. If the weather was a comfortable temperature we would have eaten outside.I would recommend this restaurant.

2022-04-23We stopped here during a road trip, looking for a place to grab a quick bite. This place has a cozy interior and a great outdoor space, which we would have enjoyed had it not been raining at the time. Its located in a cute main street type feel area, and is obviously a local favorite. The lobster bisque was served hot and creamy, and packed full of lobster. The Grilled Asian Wedge salad was fresh and filling, and the cook was kind enough to swap out the iceberg for a spring mix instead (because I wanted the flavors but am not a fan of iceberg). While the daily specials were posted on a chalk board in the dining area, which admittedly I didnt notice, it would have been nice for our waiter to mention them at the start. I would have gladly forgone my salad for that days rib special.

2022-04-28YUM!! Seriously!! Go here if your ever in the area! This was by far the most friendliest place weve been, by staff!! Such wonderful conversations. Even the bartender came over and chatted a bit. Very informational for a picky kid. Food was amazing. And there special treat was inspired by local students. We definitely tried it and again were very pleased and overly stuffed by the end.Thank you all for a wonderful dinner!

2022-06-02We had a wonderful experience here! First off, we were greeted warmly by Leanne, who was super friendly and sweet, and took immediately to my boyfriends special needs daughter making her feel welcome. Then our server Allie was also amazing providing great service and understanding along with a friendly and warm smile. The food was amazing! My boyfriend had the rib stack and I had the lemon butter noodles with shrimp and scallops... SO GOOD!!!! HIGHLY RECMMEND THIS PLACE! It has a warm and welcoming atmosphere while also being hip, cool, and THE place to be seen in Bridgman.

2022-06-16LSE... Good food and good company! Bartender ?Mason? He was super cool! Very knowledgeable gentleman 👏 had the blackened mahi Mai tacos pretty delicious. I did, however, find a bone in my taco still. I wasnt too alarmed; at least its real! Haha. I was cool about, but most people wouldnt be. The atmosphere is great! I heard they are expending into building to the right of it, and I cant wait to see it. The only issue with the bar as a customer was how tacky feeling the bar was! Super cool bar top, but rubbery coating they used for it was terrible choice... use epoxy super smooth, and it feels clean! Hope to see amazing things from LSE...

2020-01-16A great spot just off of the Red Arrow Highway. The ambiance is casual. The staff is friendly and the service is excellent. We ordered the perch special and a side of fries. The perch were prepared perfectly. The fries were a u inquest shape and tasty. The wine was good and reasonably priced. Go here!
