Fast, friendly service and awesome chicken chorizo tacos. The broasted chicken and french fries basket was also very, very good. They also have excellent ice cream!

Has troubles finding a defined opening time, but when they do Lakes Dairyland is on of the best places to stop for ice cream. Quick friendly service makes it a must-stop for anyone passing through Lake Linden.

2020-08-22Welk we tried only ice cream here and our favourite was Mackinaw Island fudge and Zanzibar (rich chocolate flavour). The serving size is more than enough. Good place to have ice cream

2021-06-24Great sandwiches and fried (broasted) chicken. They put a lot of effort into delivering great food. The owner walked by to check on each group of guests.P.S. dont snooze on the ice cream!

2021-08-25Nothing special and way overpriced.We usually stop there for ice cream, which is pricey, quite good, but nothing different than any other Mom n Pop ice cream shop. Same old, same old.This time we decided to try their inside dinner food.They advertise their Beakers Chicken as being some great and wonderful item, so we tried it. Daughter and I both ordered the mock kfc famous bowl (they call it the bowl and the online menu says $11, but they have upped it to $13) and added the breaded cauliflower on the side. What/a/DISAPPOINTMENT.I guess we are spoiled(?) by KFCs famous bowl (and if that alone doesnt tell you something, nothing will).The breaded chicken was a fairly nice sized piece of so so chicken. It wasnt awful,,but for the $13 pricetag it sure wasnt anything special either. Maybe spices would be too costly for them to use?? It was supposed to come on top of mashed potatoes and gravy and some corn. The corn was canned, the mash potatoes were nothing special and hardly there- but worst of all was the maybe 1 teaspoon of gravy. What the heck?? We had to actually search hard for it! Could hardly taste what was there, but it seemed like it was the best tasting thing there. Since this was takeout, we couldnt exactly ask for enough to fill a spoon or two. Come on guys. This is supposed to be like your big bragging rights seller here and you cheap out on the best tasting part of the dish??So... if money (and taste) are no object and you are desperate for somewhere to eat, I guess you could go here. Just empty your bank account first and do yourself a favor and order each thing in the bowl separately. You might get more AND it would be cheaper. We will be waiting for our return of KFC coming back to Houghton soon.Oh yeah. The breaded cauliflower was pretty ok too. Not much flavor in the batter, but probably the best thing we ordered that night.

2019-03-31I grew up going here in summer after my baseball and soccer games. Used to be a bugs bunny and Elmer FUD wood carving and my mom would take my picture next to it. Got to pick out my favorite ice cream. Always brings back great memories of my childhood. I love the old fashioned bar stools and atmosphere and staff if always friendly. Family friendly and a great place to go for an incredible ice cream treat with your kids.

2019-10-20Very pleasant experience. Really good food. They also probably have the nicest paper napkins weve ever seen! We will definitely return. Too bad they close for the winter.

2020-07-04The cuban sandwich was insanely good, the strawberry rhubarb ice cream was the best Ive had in forever, and the workers were all so friendly! Cant wait to come back here.

2019-07-20Chicken Dinner was excellent. Large portions. We went back last night, but they closed dining room at 8pm. They are missing a lot of summer business. So, only 4 stars.
