Jared at Sharpe was awesome to work with. I placed a vehicle order in June and it took roughly 6 months to receive. Throughout that time, Jared provided updates on the build including the ship name so I could track it coming across the pond. When the vehicle arrived, they had it in a show room with a big red bow, which was a really nice touch. Jared took the time to walk through the vehicle with me and answered all my questions. He is very knowledgeable about all things Land Rover, and just an all around good guy. Would highly recommend Shapre. This is my 6th vehicle purchase and BY FAR the best experience.
Larry Brandsen is an outstanding sales rep. I was looking for a Range Rover Evoque Convertible with a particular color and set of options and my local Reno dealer was unable to find one on the West Coast. Searching online, I found the car I was looking for at Land Rover Grand Rapids. Larry handled the transaction by phone and email in the most professional and courteous manner and met me at the airport when I flew in to pickup the car. The rest of the staff I met that day was just as amazing and the whole experience was first class. I wouldnt think twice about buying another car from Larry (including driving 2000 miles back home)!
My husband and I recently purchased a Range Rover from the dealership in Grand Rapids. Not only do we love the Evoque, but the customer service is second to none. Brett B. is a rockstar, he knew what we were looking for and found the perfect car for us. When we arrived to take delivery the car was waiting for us with a gigantic red bow on top, so thoughtful. Sharpe BMW is AMAZING! Very fun, non stress experience choosing my vehicle. I worked with Jared who was very knowledgeable of ALL vehicles and super patient with me as I wanted to try the BMW 3 or 5 suv, Jag’s suv, F pace and Discovery. I purchased a Range Rover Evoque lol. I kept changing my mind, went back/forth over what details would b most important to me and the Evoque checked every box even though was not in my radar. Jared patiently guided me through my decision process giving me pertinent info to make a final decision and feel GREAT about it. And that’s just the beginning. Owning the vehicle for a week as been wonderful. Love it even more and they put a ceramic coating on the car that takes it to the next level of BEAUTIFUL.Thank you Jared and Paul (wonderful dealership manager) for working with me to get the car of my dreams. We purchased our Range Rover Velar last year, and couldnt be happier. We were given more than expected for our trade-in, and received a great price on our new vehicle. Just this week we received a surprise call from Paul at Land Rover Grand Rapids. A $1000 check came in to their dealership as a rebate for our car. Instead of keeping it, he called and passed the check on to us. Im blown away by their integrity. Also, this dealership is pure luxury...its not a bad thing to have to sit in their showroom/waiting area for your car to get serviced. TOP NOTCH
Our experience working with the team at Land Rover of Grand Rapids was excellent.We have owned several Land Rovers over the years and have come to know a number of Land Rover dealerships over that timeframe, as such would recommend Land Rover of Grand Rapids as one of the best weve experienced.
Met with Dave Keenan, who was just excellent. They have a smaller inventory of cars, but thats to be expected for Jaguar and Land Rover. The showroom is impressive, clean and inviting. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly and helpful. Dave, our sales person, was very knowledgable about the cars and answered all our questions. He did not try to pressure us at all. Super experience, recommend over the east-state dealers.
I have been buying cars for 10 years now and I have never had such a positive experience as I did with Sharpe Land Rover. The management and salespeople (especially my sales advisor Larry Brandsen) were not at all pushy and they did everything in their power to make sure we got the best price. They offer phenomenal service and a great user experience.
Had a great experience purchasing our new LR Discovery from Larry in sales. He was a tremendous help all through out the whole process. Always willing to return calls or emails, and believe me I made a pest out of myself. Larry is a stand up kind of a guy, someone that I really feel I can trust with honest answers to questions. This is our first Land Rover experience but Ive got a feeling it wouldnt be our last at the Sharpe Collection. THANKS!!
No regard for your time, drove 1.5 hours one way to get there, they looked at my key fob said, well get one on the way next available appointment was a month later, came in and now they telling me after a 1.5 drive one way again, its the wrong key fob, sorry you had to drive again, take it up with the people you bought it from... You could of check the 1st time I was there, no wonder why Land rover is loosing so much market share to Lincoln. I have owned 4 Land Rovers and this will be my last, the service was never great but this was definitely the thing that pushed me over the edge.
Since there is no Land Rover dealer in our city, it was necessary to plan a trip to Grand Rapids for a simple service need. I called Coleman in the Parts Department in advance of the service appointment to order the part. When I received word that the part was in, I scheduled with Dave in the Service Department for an actual visit. Both were extremely courteous and sought to get us in and out as quickly as possible. The whole experience was amazing. Thanks to LR of GR for great service.

Dave and team have always been great to work with. The service staff is professional and does a great job with informing you about exactly what is diagnosed on your vehicle. We were looking for a vehicle to safely transport our children through the Michigan winter and not only found such a vehicle at The Sharpe Collection, but also found our sales consultant and dealership for all of our future automobile needs. From the moment we walked in the door our sales consultant, Jordan Fisher made us feel at ease and answered all of our questions with expertise. Needless to say, we found our new vehicle. There wasnt any uncomfortable negotiations or high pressured sales. It was the first time we ever felt that we were not just another sale in order to reach the dealerships monthly sales quota. Jordan was sincere and listened to our needs and expectations for our new vehicle and we found the perfect one that will fit our families needs for many winters to come.When we took delivery of the vehicle and signed the final papers, we didnt have to wait around for the business manager or the sales consultant to complete paperwork or get the vehicle ready. We walked in and within 15 minutes we were out the door driving away in our new vehicle. Jordan gave us a full tutorial on operation of the vehicle and made sure that all of our questions were answered. The vehicle was in impeccable condition. I have been a customer of The Sharpe Collection for over 20 years and have purchased many vehicles from them as well as other dealerships in the Grand Rapids area. When it comes to the things that are most important to consumers; fair pricing, great product and service after the purchase, I have not found any dealerships that can compare. This dealership does everything right and has the best staff of friendly, competent sales and service professionals. Whats not to like?
My wife and I purchased a Land Rover from the Sharpe Collection this week, I have purchased many vehicles over the last 20 years and this was by far the best experience I have been a part of. Jordan Fisher was my salesman and worked for us until we had all that we needed. Jordan and the team at Sharpe got us a better financing rate than we thought was available and gave us more for our trade than they thought was possible. The paperwork and delivery of the car took less than 45 minutes and was absolutely hassle free. From the moment we first met Jordan there was zero pressure and at all points throughout the transaction it was up to us whether we were ready to purchase or not. We were introduced to the service manager and look forward to having our vehicle serviced at Sharpe. We would recommend Sharpe and Jordan to anyone looking for one of the vehicles they have to offer. When the time comes to purchase again, Sharpe will be where we shop.
Even if I had not bought a vehicle from Land Rover GR, I would recommend the dealership for their detailed knowledge of the vehicles, commitment to customer service and low pressure sales effort. Jordan and Paul went to great lengths to make sure our buying experience was top-notch. Out of the 8 or so dealerships we shopped, they and one other were far above the others.
We had a first class experience with the staff at Land Rover, Grand Rapids. Their professionalism was respectful, non pushy and empathetic in our decision to lease a Range Rover Sport. Brian Justema is a very knowledgeable and responsive sales advisor and Paul Flood is a quality sales manager with an emphasis on us feeling comfortable with our decision. The Sharpe dealership and especially, Paul Flood, Sales Manager, went above and beyond to make sure I found a car that fit my picky requirements!It was probably the most enjoyable buying experience ever and I have bought 14-20 cars in my life. There were some problems, but that is what made it a great experience, they were honorable and fair.
Drove from Kalamazoo to take car in for check up and possible repair. Heard a bad sound coming from the back of my Land Rover LR2. I went to local shop in Kalamazoo and quoted an amount greater than Land Rover Grand Rapids and they werent totally sure if it was the issue. Land Rover Grand Rapids had great customer service. Explained what was wrong which didnt need half the work the other shop said. They had a comfortable waiting room with snacks and also offered a loaner car for the day so we didnt have to wait there. The repair took place the same day. They noted if it took 2 days they would drive the car back to Kalamazoo and swap for their loaner. They really did a good job and was worth the drive to Grand Rapids to make sure we knew what was really wrong with our car and believe we had a fair cost.
My wife and I have been using their service department for the past year and absolutely love it!!! The crew from the top down are 100% incredible. Got the car detailed a few weeks ago and they sent me home with an uber and the next day it was done to perfection and sitting in my driveway. Would definitely recommend.
Respectful, Responsive and Really easy to deal with. I had a great experience with the Sharpe collection when shopping for my Evoque. It started with the communication through internet/phone calls, prompt responses, pictures, details of the msrp and other options in their inventory.When the price was negotiated the deal was handled perfectly, did not make me uncomfortable with unnecessary financial options. Larry was the epitome of a professional. We arrived on a Saturday close to closing, and we werent rushed, pushed to make a decision or abandoned. Larry and the whole team rolled out the red carpet and made us feel so welcome! Larry was knowledgable and pleasant as we took turns test driving the Evoque we came to see. We will be back again and again.
When searching for LR4s around the midwest, the Sharpe Collection had the best selection. From the second I got ahold of Jordan, he was straight to the point on meeting my needs. I would be traveling from 400 miles away to pick up a new LR4 for my wifes 30th birthday. In a three-day span, Jordan agreed to a fair price over the phone/email, overnighted accessories (ladder, rooftop cross bars, rubber floor mats, running boards), had them installed, and had the car perfectly detailed for pickup. There was even a birthday gift waiting in the front seat for my wife! Needless to say, she was ecstatic for her new truck on her birthday.As far as the experience is concerned, they had an area for my wife to nurse the baby and for our toddler to play while we waited for the manager to appraise our trade-in. While we were in signing the papers with the business manager, Jordan even helped watch our kids. I have never had a less stressful vehicle purchasing experience. These guys just get it.ps. When we visited our in-laws that weekend, my mother-in-law loved our LR4 so much that she wanted one too. So I dialed Jordan back up and he gave her the same top-notch service and no-hassle negotiation that he gave us!
The worst customer service ever. When I arrived I was approached and asked if I was okay with paying 240 an hour for an inspection. I advised I was quoted something different and asked him to pull me up. He advised nope that was not even possible. He asked who I spoke to and I advised a man he stated the only two men working in service was himself and his boss. After feeling mistreated by someone who did not know who I was, He finally looked me up and found out that I was indeed quoted the rate I gave him. He never apologized or looked me in the eye after that. He was rude, treated me with contempt and advised me at the end, that he would not be calling my warranty company for the repairs and I had to do that and make another appointment. I have never been treated with such disdain. I will never return to this place and have told all my friends. Land Rover Farmington Hills is where I will send my business.
Not happy with this dealership. I had purchased 2 key fobs that i needed to replace, less than a year ago. I had a one year warranty on them. I lost one of the fobs, never used it, because i lost it that same week i had purchased it. I found it, and after my guess of non-use of it, it was dead. So i took it into the dealership to share this with them and to have it looked at. It would be a $90 charge, even though it was warrientied. I was to pay them to check it out and if it wasnt the battery then my loss of $90. Fobs are $350 and paying for two, within the same year, where only one works, isnt impressive for this dealership and how it was handled...like sorry about my luck, so to speak. I dont recall any limitations to my warranty which should decently cover something more than it has...which is nothing.
Dave and Kevin were great! I went in to get some tires and Kevin found that I my daughter had a bad thermostat. They had the part and replaced it on the spot. Had he not looked my daughter would have been stranded on the side of the road. Thank you for going the extra mile.
LRGR has been servicing my RRSC Sport for the past 3 yrs and I have to say that Ben Dekruyter and his team really went the distance for me at the conclusion of my last visit, I look forward to continuing our relationship as well as recommending LRGR to other Range Rover enthusiast looking to have their vehicle serviced!

2022-06-01Communication wasnt the greatest. I had left two voicemails to Dave, in service, leading up to my appointment date. He would never return calls. I had scheduled a service visit to have a recall done. I didnt know the full extent of the recall. But had they explained what was going to happen they would have actually made money off of me. I really would have liked to have had the fuel filter replaced and had I known the tank needed to come down for the recall I would have happily paid the additional cost to do that.Ive rated them higher than I originally felt I should have because the work was completed pretty quickly. Plus one of the younger sales guys politely entertained me while I waited for Dave (because he had a super important call he was on hold for that was preventing him to address me.)This experience could have been improved and I would have been willing to pay to have additional work done to the vehicle. But when I had asked Daves assistant to have a quote done I was told we dont provide quotes because people hold us to them.The work that I will be having completed from a reputable local shop (that could have been your dealer):*Full cooling system overhaul to replace the old brittle plastic/rubber hoses that commonly break on the 5.0 engine.*Transmission fluid and filter change*Brake fluid and steering fluid exchange*Spark plug change*Fuel filter change*All four sway bar end links (one is completely broken off and wasnt even noted by your service dept)*Any additional services they recommend as they begin the teardown*In the future I would recommend service writers being familiar with the service interval schedule. Also being willing to give even a guestimate for services because, in this case, I do plan on spending several thousand in order to ensure I can keep this vehicle on the road for many more years to come.Thank you for completing the recall quickly!

2021-06-04Twelve years ago we purchased our 2008 LR3 Land Rover from Larry Brandsen. We again returned to the Grand Rapids location to purchase another vehicle from Larry. We were delighted to see him. He is very open and honest and advised me toward a newer vehicle instead of the used ones on the lot. I therefore received a much more aggressive vehicle warranty with a inconsequential price difference.He went over every menu setting and manual adjustment prior to driving it an hour and 45 min home. We are very pleased with this dealership and especially with Larry.
