My Product Specialist, Ted Sims, was AMAZING! He made my car buying experience so seamless and I felt comfortable from beginning to end. He is very knowledgeable and I never got.the sheisty salesman vibes....he was so transparent about the entire process. If you are in the market for a new car, I highly recommend this dealership. I want to say this is one of the most amazing car buying experiences I have ever had this is my first car that I bought from a dealership that was not a B lot and I was made to feel like I was number one even when I was hesitant about purchasing the car no one made me feel more except then Lenore parvu if you need anything a car or Just want to ask questions about a vehicle you should contact her she is the best salesman I have ever had and went above and beyond to help me find my first range rover Velar I promise when my note is up I’m coming back to her for my next purchase and I promise you you should too if you want the best quality service she did not force anything on me and was straight forward she will tell you up front if you will qualify. For a vehicle or if you need to work a little harder to get your credit together even if you want a more expensive car she is not like other salesman that are trying to just get your money she will let you know if that’s the right choice for you but if you are in need of a really good car give her a call
Lenore was the best, she explained everything in detail on my contract, and everything about my car, I didnt feel rushed or pressured. This is my 3rd Range Range and the customer service was the best! I cant say enough about Lenore and Michael, they treated me like family. I am loving my car!
I have been driving Land Rover for over 3 years now and I couldnt be happier with the customer service and professionalism at this dealership. Specifically, Tony Cross has been fantastic and always takes great care of me. Top notch salesmanship from A to Z. He put me in the exact car that I wanted. Drove all the way from Lansing area during lots of road construction to look at a specific car. When we arrived, not even ONE sales person even acknowledged we were even there. Not one person sitting on their rear looking at their phone or 2 other salespeople chatting and laughing away. Also saw another staff member walking around. We felt very ignored and they just lost a very big Range Rover sale !
I absolutely love love love love love love My New Range Rover Velar!!!! I actually worked with Lenore!!! She is absolutely Wonderful!! I was a nervous wreck going in there .... and she was an absolute angel who calmed me down tremendously!!! when she told me I was approved i cried and cried lol 😆 I totally recommend this place to any and everybody whos looking for a reliable luxurious vehicle!! Excellent sales service. Definitely go and check out cars at this Dealership and do not forget to call ahead for Donald Douglas or Jeff Joiner. Excellent sales person, really hardworking, I feel pity I have to make Donald walk to each car to send me pictures of specific stuff before dropping in at dealership. ( 2017 Update: Donald has found new opportunities and does not work here anymore)2017: However impressed I was with sales department, same is not true with service department. I have free services for the term through Jaguar on my F-type. I have owned car for a year now so when I called to schedule an appointment, the representative told me my car which is at 12,600 miles, is not eligible for free service and I will have to pay $390 and that the car has to be at 15000 miles and 1 year while the manual clearly states 15000 miles OR 1 year. He surely does not know the difference between and & or and on top of that he asked me to add 2500 miles in 2 weeks if I have to get free service. Either way I will not call the service department again and had Jaguar of Troy handle the opportunity. Jaguar of Troy had me all set in 10 mins.2018: I heard some grinding and squealing noise in car on weekend while driving and it just wouldn’t go away. I had hard time sleeping that night so I took it here on Monday morning. James from service was really helpful and scheduled me for Tuesday. The noise went away but I wanted to be sure nothing will give away while driving. On Tuesday as scheduled I took my car in. I was given a ride back to work and was picked up when car was ready. Although it was tough to find the root cause of the issue, they checked everything and had hard numbers on brake and suspension checks. As an engineer, I was impressed and had a second thought on my previous review. Car was washed when I went in. Regardless, good experience.
The worst experience I have ever had. The only reason that I rated it a no star is because they didnt have minus stars. My 2015 evoque would not go into gear after a car wash. Had to have it towed to Farmington Jaguar / Land Rover where I was told they couldnt find the problem and when they checked it on the diagnostic machine it said to replace the transmission and they didnt feel they should without it happening again, although I had a video of it and if you go on YouTube there are hundreds more with similar problems. So they say come get it I drive to the dealer and wait 35 minutes for them to find the car. On my way home stop to get dog food and the entire skid pan for the car is in my trunk. They didnt put it back on. Must be waiting for it to happen again I call them and the service guy says oh bring it back and we will put it back on for you.I have an idea start drug testing immediately I get that pot is legal Im Michigan now but this seems likely to be something a bit stronger. Than after all this you email me to take a survey of how you did. Well Im no teacher and do not claim to be an English major but an F similar to the F U that you all gave me is what I would rate your service department. I had a service at Land Rover Farmington hills, Johnny was professional and knowledgeable. Land Rover dealership should have more availability for loaner car. Till today, when I fall to schedule an appointment they always says they do not have loaner available me for next 2-3 months. I do not blame people work there. But dealership should have more vehicles for loaner. If you provide loaner oleo please will consider having Land Rover as their next car. Or they will move on….
Purchased my first Land Rover LR2 and when it came time to get the oil changed I decided to protect my investment by driving the 1.5 hours to have it serviced. Amber Dimmer took excellent care of me! I was provided with a detailed print out of a recommended action plan for my vehicle, categorizing the findings in order from most necessary repairs to things that can wait for a bit. They even provided me with pricing for repairs. I love that theyve taken the guess work out of car maintenance and Amber was super thorough when explaining the recommended action plan. The recommended action report, car wash, vacuuming, and thorough inspection were included with my oil change and was absolutely worth it! I have piece of mind knowing what my vehicle needs or doesnt need and how much itll cost, Ill drive an 1.5 for this kind of service anytime!!
Lenore Parvu was amazing. She was so helpful and personable. She went above and beyond and now I can never buy another car from anywhere else. She has set the gold standard for customer service. The worst Land Rover dealership I have ever been to the customer service is absolutely awful. I walked around for a while before I had to ask someone to help me, the employees will see you and not even try and ask if you need help. I left my car for service and after 4 days I had to call them to see if they had a diagnosis which they didn’t, the next day they sent me an email not a call back with whatever they thought my car “needed”. They put on there I had to change my brakes even though my car is a lease with 20,000 miles and of course they did not explain that this was a suggestion that is usually made at 25,000 miles rather than a “need” so I ended up approving a 1500 dollars for service that I probably did not need. After two weeks of not hearing from them I had to call again to see if my car was ready as I had been without a vehicle for two weeks already because also they do not have loaner cars available, they told me that they had the wrong phone number for me and so they had been unable to contact me to let me know that my car was ready even though they had found a way to contact me to tell me how much service would cost and to remind me of my appointment plenty of times “they didn’t have my phone number “and when I asked the person I spoke to why they didn’t at least email me they said” well what’s done is done” .All in all the absolute WORST Land Rover or just overall worst dealership I have ever been to. Extremely unprofessional! I have to change my car soon and I rather get a Toyota camry before I go to these people again.
Lenore was truly amazing and became family from this experience! She made everything extremely easy, had the knowledge on every question asked, and most of all made the experience fun and one Ill always remember my first Range Rover buying experience was awesome! Brandon in the tech department was great explained everything with ease and great understanding he also not only made it educational but fun all things combined made my experience the best it could be!
Excellent service, smooth transition from my old lease to my new vehicle spent enough time show me how to operate the Car and all the equipment. Car was clean and spotless. Staff is very friendly, waiting area is comfortable with free Wi-Fi and beverages. Despite the car shortage they didnt take advantage of me and I paid only the sticker price didnt jack up the price to take advantage of the worldwide cars shortage.
Our 2017 RR Evoque infotainment system was eligible for upgrade to latest Apple car play system and required 2-3 hours service. Software upgrade did not go initially as expected so Johnny put us in a 2020 RR Evoque over the Thanksgiving weekend so we were not inconvenienced. Our Evoque was returned with latest upgrade, washed and cleaned like new. Great experience with Amber and Johnny turning a potential disaster into a potential new 2020 sale come Spring. Current vehicle infotainment is a pleasure now and we got to drive/experience the new 2020 RR Evoque for a long weekend. Great upgrades inside and out to go with the already eye-catching Avant Garde styling cues.
I was greeted by Johnny my service representative very friendly, he was very helpful and helped me apply my discount for my service with a coupon I was sent via email but would not display, but he assured me not to worry he verified on my phone I received the email special and applied to my invoice. He also made sure my care was done within the time I needed to be on my way. My car was serviced, clean inside and out, I was very pleased not to spend to long in the dealership on my Saturday. I would recommend Farmington Land Rover and ask for Johnny

Lenoire was AMAZING!!! We were in a rush, she prepped the vehicle ahead of time for our test drive and immediately worked through the paperwork with our purchase. Salesman did a great job and was very thorough. Management seems a bit stuck up and rude. Rough experience with Eric. Dont do business with him. He thinks he knows everything and acts like customers dont. They quietly add alot of extra warranties then rename them to appeal more. Unfortunate experience.

I took in my Range Rover for a used car diagnostics; they checked everything in the truck. Ryan was my service advisor and he was extremely professional; he walked through all the findings and made sure we understood exactly what condition the truck was in. He provided us with amazing service! The cashier was extremely welcoming; asked us if we needed any help further. As we were browsing in the show room we were greeted by David; another extremely professional salesman that asked if we needed any type of help. I spoke to 4 employees and all of them were top notch especially Erin the service manager. You will continue to have my business.
This was my first visit to Land Rover Farmington Hills and my experience could not have been better ! Within an hour , I purchased a new Defender which I love.My salesperson was Lenore Parvu who was wonderful. She was helpful, knowledgeable and so efficient. Tony Malouf came over to introduce himself and he too was great.Over the years, this is my 5th Land Rover purchase and this dealership is by far the best that I have personally, experienced.
Eric Fleming the Financial service manager has to be one of the rudest people i have ever had the misfortune of speaking to, if that man worked for me he would have been fired on the spot for the way he acts towards a customer attempting to purchase a vehicle. He felt the need to argue with me and my father with nothing but disrespect coming from his big mouth. Take your business somewhere else where they will respect you and wont try and sneak in a $6,000 aftermarket warranty we never agreed on.
The folks in the dealership were very courteous professional and prompt. They were absolutely transparent about the work that needed to be done and provided me options that helped me prioritize. They were very quick to fix the issues with the car, clean it and have it ready for pickup. Amazing service as expected.
All of the expense and none of the reliability—thats the best way I can express my overall customer experience with Land Rover. I leased a 2017 Discovery and within the first year had to have it serviced more than six times. Within the full three years, it was serviced about 12 times. From a prominent chugging lag in the engine (which was never fixed) to glitchy technology and a faulty hood release (it had to be serviced three times just to get this small function fixed), the Discovery was an expensive vehicle that offered little to no reliability. So much so that in the last year I rented a car for business trips. When I spoke to management about my issues (more than once), I was offered a perfunctory apology at best with no offer for a real resolution. In the end, I would say that by far, Land Rover Farmington Hills offered the lowest-quality client experience of any dealership/brand Ive dealt with over my many years of leasing and buying cars. The Discovery is a beautiful car, but that did me little good when it stayed parked in the garage for most of the final year of ownership. The expense of Land Rover certainly does not match what you get. Based on my experience, Land Rover lost a potential life-long customer. Never again will I trust this brand.

We had a “transmission fault” signal as we were driving on highway. We called this dealer and they were able to accommodate us an hour before closing. They were able to determine root cause in 5 mins and fix the issue in less than an hour at a very fair price. They were kind, courteous and took the time to explain the issue. Gave us peace of mind. Highly recommend!
I recently had another great experience with Jaguar Land Rover of Farmington Hills. Johnny Manoviec is awesome. He did a great job of explaining everything that needed to be done and was extremely helpful. He stayed in regular contact with me regarding status of the vehicle repair. This dealership keeps their commitments and you can trust them. I would highly recommend them for either vehicle purchase or repair.
I had an issue with the infotainment screen in my new Defender randomly dying but then resetting after the vehicle was turned off for a long time.Then had to wait two weeks for a spot to schedule a service, I was issued a loaner vehicle, but it took another week to get a technician to look into the issue, I had no proactive status updates and had to call on the Friday to find out when I could expect my truck.When my truck was eventually returned, I was greeted with a message on the screen that told me a software download needs to be installed in the vehicle (I would have expected the dealership to handle this, following the instructions to get this installed does not seem to work, Ive been driving around with the message for two weeks now without getting it to install.In the meantime the screen died once more on a drive home (After a week with no issues), so it seems to not be fully resolved, Im curious to see how JLR respond.I love my truck, however my perception is that with this being a captive market with not many options to go to for service, the service organizations seem to have a take it or leave it attitude that does not become the brand they are supporting or promoting.I would like to see better communication and a sense of urgency engaging in resolving warranty issues on a brand new vehicle.With regards to the sales experience: I live closer to the Troy dealership, but they treated me like the cat dragged me in when I wanted to discuss trading in my Raptor for a new build 2021 Defender. I leased a LR3 more than 10 years ago from the Farmington Hills dealer and based on that experience felt it worth the extra distance in travel to trust them with my business and have to say the sales experience with them was really good and worth the 3 month wait for a new build.
Ryan Bielat, the service advisor was very professional and provided me with all the details of the repair process. He was also sensitive to my family needs and provided us with a nice service vehicle. I will always take my RRS to this dealership because of the kind of service they provided.
Ryan the service manager was great! He explained all the services I needed on my car. The department gave me a loaner that I enjoyed as much as my own car. I recommend this dealership for purchases as well as service. I didn’t not purchase my car from this dealership but I did speak with them when I was looking to purchase my car. They were very knowledgeable and very nice.
I brought my vehicle in to be serviced after having it for 3 months. I did not my purchase my car from this location and knew very little about the interior lights and remote start. Amber and Rameen were excellent, they walked me through everything. They were very knowledgeable about my vehicle and patient. Thank you!!
Let me start off by saying we are in LOVE with our new vehicle! We stopped in on a Saturday and Amanda greeted us promptly. She listened to our needs and showed us a variety of vehicles that met that list. We decided on a new 2019 Range Rover and couldnt be happier with our decision. The dealership is so clean and everyone is so friendly. There was ZERO pressure to purchase or lease a vehicle, which was so refreshing since most dealerships bug you non stop and just want you to sign the dotted line. Amanda delivered exceptional customer service, answered ALL of our questions and let me tell you we had a lot and she was just a joy to work with. Dont hesitate to ask for her when you stop in! We returned a week later to sign all the paperwork and purchase the vehicle. That process was super easy and Tony took care of us answering our questions regarding payments and finances. Then they did a full detail on the vehicle while we grabbed lunch. Later that day we drove away with our dream car and its all thanks to Amanda and the rest of the team at Jaguar Land Rover Farmington Hills! This was a huge purchase for us so its nice knowing there is a team always available to ensure we are happy! Thank you again!
Worst car buying experience.Salesman Garrett was by far the rudest individual I have ever had to deal with – and I buy a lot of cars. If this dealership didnt have the used car I wanted, I would have walked out. And looking back, I wish I did. Ill save everyone all of the details but one piece of advice I can offer if you are thinking about visiting the dealership: DONT talk to Garrett. Its not worth the frustration.
Easy to get an appt on short notice - service manager, Johnnie, was very informative, polite and helpful - helped me to arrange a service appointment that enabled me to manage without my car for the two days necessary for nature of service. Very prompt in alerting to completion of service, describing service performed and findings, and informing me about next service requirement - description and anticipated pricing. Detailing was perfection! . Finally, wish to complement service technician, Griffin, who was very polite and helpful - he transported me home after drop-off and picked me up to retrieve my vehicle after service - going to far as to ensure car used for transport was refreshed after recent return as loaner - he bothered to apologize for any potential residual odor - there was none. He also went out of his way to help me return a car to my sister when transporting me back to pick up my vehicle. Great service experience!
THE WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Our vehicle begin making a loud grinding noise shortly after we paid close to $2,000 in repairs. We discovered that the brake pad was missing leading us to believe the mechanic who serviced the vehicle did not properly reassemble the caliper and rotor. We immediately scheduled an appointment to return the vehicle for re-inspection.Johnny was more than happy to hear us out and provided great service. Since this was out of Johnnys control, we requested to speak with the manager (Ryan) who was very difficult to work with and accused us of doing something wrong opposed to treating us with dignity and respect. Rather than having the vehicle inspected by the mechanic or being accountable for the mistake they made, he was extremely arrogant, throwing around acquisitions and assumptions, and was not willing to accommodate us by any means. This was by far the worst service I have ever experienced. We ended up taking our vehicle back, refusing to give this dealer another dime! Unless you have thousands of dollars to piss down the drain and you are NOT willing to question their service, I recommend taking your vehicle somewhere else. Perhaps get a Jeep as we did!
1/29/21 scheduled a standard service maintenance appointment and requested loaner. A Loaner arrived at the scheduled appointment, it was clean as a whistle! Valet had mask in and greeted me properly. I gave him a list of items to work on my car. He thanked me and off he drove with my car. I later received a call from the dealership to clarify items on my list. Parts were immediately ordered and work began. The next day, all of the requested work was completed and car was brought to my residence on time. I had cabin & air filters exchanged, oil & lube performed, tires rotated and alignment performed, all wipers replaced, software update, wind noise eliminated on drivers door, AC evaporator/engine flush & all liquids topped off. Then they washed my car so well, it looked brand new! Service department rocks!
Ive had my RR Sport Supercharged serviced here from an oil change to some pretty major suspension issues and they are always thorough and quick with the multi-point inspection, clear and easy on what work can be done with the texting system, and the work is always done in a shorter time than expected with how busy they are and how extensive some issues can be.The service staff takes the time to answer any questions I have, no matter how busy they are, which usually is pretty busy. I have no question that my truck is in professional hands whenever I turn it over to them.I travel an hour to get my RR serviced by an official dealer and this one has to be one of the best and I will keep coming back to keep it in the great shape its supposed to be in.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. I wish I could put into words what this dealership and car manufacturer has put me through. They kept my car in the shop for 6 months and told me they found a seashell and thats what was causing my car problems after claiming they had replaced that part 3x (never took my car to the beach... I LIVE IN MICHIGAN FOR GODS SAKE) After threatening to take this to litigation they magically repaired my car within the next 2 days. They do not treat you like a human here. They just want to take your money and do not care about your the safety of your vehicle. I am convinced all of the employees have 1 functioning brain cell they share amongst one another.
I recently had the good fortune to have my vehicle serviced by Farmington Jaguar. These folks are great. Incredibly friendly, helpful and customer focused. My vehicle was well taken care of, immaculately clean when returned to me and the people were first rate; from my service rep, to the cashier, to the valet that gave me a complimentary lift. Excellent. Nice work folks.

Terrible experience. Sales woman (Lenore Parvu) was rude and had her attitude was way over her head. Avoid this dealer at any cost. Theyre not qualified professionals working at this location. Save your self the headache if you want nice professionals to serve you go to a different Land Rover Dealership. When your purchase a $100k+ vehicle, you wouldnt want a rude sales person who has attitude and does not want to answer simple questions by stating I have already answered this question are you guys not listening to me? I will be filing a formal complaint against this Dealers poor customer treatment. Providing training on how to speak to clients with manners should be something management focuses on if they dont want to continue loosing business due to their incompetent Sales persons.
As a Range Rover owner and currently having serviced my vehicle at this dealership, I cannot say enough of this service department.The combination of Johnny Manoviec and Arron Lee is outstanding! They both go out of their way to make certain your experience is satisfactory. These men are both friendly, helpful and customer focused. My experience was enjoyable and very customer orientated. All my concerns regarding my vehicles were addressed. Even when one of my vehicles was accidently by a service vehicle they still took care of my car and omitted that it was hit and fix it and painted it. I love my Jaguar Land Rover dealership. I just purchased a 2021 Range Rover Westminster from Land Rover Farmington Hills and couldnt be happier. Dealing with the folks at Land Rover Farmington Hills was a joy. I was getting oil change done and next day the engine light went on. Called to make an appointment because it was not on when I went there and they wanted to give an appointment after 1 week because they are very busy and when I asked for a loaner there was non. They told the first loaner will be available in 1 month. I wish there was another dealer close to me. it takes forever for someone to answer the phone, forever to get an appointment, and impossible to get a loaner. I didnt expect that kind of service from Land Rover, plus I left a message for the manager Aaron and no reply yet.

This was the best experience I have ever had at a dealership. I normally hate getting a new car since I have to deal with negotiating and visiting the dealership for several hours without accomplishing anything. I had the most seamless experience. Rob McPherson and Aric Wilson were amazing!!!! They went above and beyond my expectations and got me into a new 2019 Range Rover Sport Dynamic. They have the best customer service.....they are very responsive by phone and email. I will definitely be getting my next Range Rover from their dealership. I had experiences with other Land Rover dealerships where I had to deal with the arrogance of the sales people. I did not experience that at all at the Farmington location. They were kind, courteous and respectful.
I recently just purchased a 2020 Range Rover Sport, and the customer service was more than outstanding from the whole team. I live in Ohio and they delivered the vehicle with no extra charge. They processed everything and I didn’t even have to go into the BMV to get permanent license plates. I turned in my current Range Rover lease and they made that transition smooth as well. I really would never want to use another dealership again other than this one. Thank You!
I received three airbag recall letters from Land Rover mentioning that I would get free oil change and two hundred dollars worth towards any car work. I called the Dealer and spoke with Ryan and he told me to bring my car on Friday and it will be ready by Saturday. I asked about the oil change and he said he will change it. After taking the car to the dealer on Friday, he said he cant do anything except for changing the air bags because the title is rebuilt. I returned on Saturday after calling him many times and leaving voicemail (which he didnt answer or call back) , assuming my car is ready. When I got there the car wasnt ready and he said it will be ready by Monday. So I called on Monday and left him a voicemail and he only responded in the end of the day saying that they didnt have the airbag yet. I also asked if he could change the oil and he agreed. The next day he called after 1pm and left me a voicemail saying that the car is ready. So I called after work, at 2:50, and I asked if he did the oil change and he said he wont be able to do it for free and it will cost me $146 and they were closing at 3pm. He said that I could either wait until Thursday or he will leave it outside the dealer and I could come pick it up.He made me wait 7 days without a car during the holiday season.
The vehicle is only 1.5 years old, so it was disappointing taking it in for a second time already. But, everything went well overall with the repairs of the vehicle. I gave four stars because of a couple things. First, you are on hold for about 15-20 minutes trying to get a hold of someone in the service department. That happened several times. Second, I forgot my sunglasses in the loaner car and when I called to ask about them they said they would look and call me back. I never received a call back.
Although, like a few others that have reviewed this dealership, I also had an initial below average sales experience, I purchased a Range Rover Sport a year ago and just has my first experience with the service department. It went very well. They picked up my car, gave me a loaned car (I think i paid extra for that feature) and performed all of the service needed after 1 year. Very friendly over the phone and the guy that dropped off the car was extremely professional.
First time customer, first time visit. I tried to make an appointment and was told by Elisa that I dont need one. A couple of days later, at 8.15AM, I drove my car for oil change and was told that they service only people with reserved appointments. The same advisor was there and as soon as I expressed my concern of miscommunication -without even apologizing, she said that she wont stay arguing with me and if I drop my car today without an appointment-I can pick it up in 2 days.Im not sure if that is even acceptable- but with appointment be prepared to wait 2-4 hours for oil change, car updates take at least 2 hours, be ready to ask questions, because there is lack of customers attention. It seems that it was my fault that I did not ask questions instead of being offered the opportunity to better service a customer. Really, really disappointed.
Amber Dimmer in the service department was amazing. It was our first visit with our Range Rover Evoque. Amber was extremely friendly, explained all the details of our appointment, gave us a loaner and got us on our way. I cant say we look forward to servicing our vehicle again, haha. But, when we have to take the vehicle in, it will definitely be at Jaguar Land Rover Farmington Hills.
I took my car into JLR Farmington for a Check engine light which had come on less than 24 hours after coming back from JLR in Troy (after the Troy guys were unable to repair it under warranty having had it for 9 days and charged me spurious charges for the fuel in the loaner).I was skeptical after having read previous reviews but I couldnt have been more wrong. I received a loaner and wasnt charged anything (although I did return the fuel as the same level I got it). But no fuss no muss about the loaner at all.My car was there for less than two days and since its return there have been no issue in the past week with the CEL - so thats a good sign.And most importantly, the staff were extremely friendly and didnt keep me waiting (unlike in Troy where I had to wait 10 minutes before someone even bothered to ask me if I needed service). For me, the friendliness of the staff means I will take my car to JLR in Farmington from now on.
Waited 3 weeks for an appointment to get my car serviced and to get a loaner car while mine was being looked at, 2 hours before my appointment I received a phone call that they don’t have any loaners available. This was very inconvenient seeing that now I had to find rides to and from work. A 2 hour notice was unacceptable!!! Maybe the day before notice but 2 hours?!?! Not to mention the rep had a very nasty attitude, I will definitely be finding another dealer to service my vehicle.
I have never written a review before for anything online, however, after receiving such horrible service, I felt compelled to write my first one. I called to schedule service for my F-pace prior to taking a trip with it and they took a week and a half to get me in. When I took it in to get the service done, I was told that I wasn’t eligible yet. After I asked why they would schedule me when I wasn’t eligible, they advised unfortunately, it happens frequently. During the trip, the low coolant light kept going on and off (I had previously had the car in for this issue). Once we returned, I called again to schedule service and it took another week and a half to get in. During this visit, they fixed the coolant (or so I thought) issue for the second time. Three days later, the light went on again. I called at 8am Monday morning and left a message. I received a call back at 4pm. Given that this is the third time I’ve called on this issue, I would have thought that I would have received a call immediately. This is the first and last time I will buy a Jaguar.
Dealership was incredibly professional, warm, and welcoming. The work was performed promptly on my vehicle and it was done right the first time. Service advisor kept me informed of the status of my vehicle and answered all of my questions honestly, and in great detail. A++
Terrible customer service, arrogant, rude and no communication to its customers. Will never service my vehicle or buy another car from Land Rover of Farmington Hills. There other other options in the marketplace and I’m sure those dealerships would welcome me and others business. Just ordered two new 2021 Range Rovers from Al Serra, Jaguar Land Rover South Shore. Wonderful customer service and experience!
Took my Range Rover to get an airbag recall done and when it was done they had a list of about 20 “recommended repairs” averaging about $7,000. They said that the horn didn’t work when it was in the shop but crazy enough before it was dropped off it worked and when I got it it worked fine. They said all radiator hoses were bulging and needed to be changed but I took it to my local repair shop and they said the hoses looked perfect. Now my passenger side glove box will not open which is the side that the new airbag was put in and they said if it is something simple like a wire not connected they will fix it but if it requires anything else I will be charged. If you are unfortunate enough to take your Land Rover there for a recall get ready for a long list of recommended services so they can earn their money back from having to do free recall work.
Bad Bad Service. We came to a deal with Mike Blair, emailed insurance, approved credit, everything that was required and then Mike called me and said the finance manager was leaving early today can I come tomorrow, I replied yes no problem, the following morning he emailed me notifying me that the vehicle was sold?? I then contacted his manager and his manager put another child on my case without ever contacting me back, I then called both managers to explain my frustration and got nowhere, I went to land Rover Lakeside and had a much better experience. They need help at this location!
I recently puchased a vehicle via this dealership and must share that i had an exceptional experience with my sles rep, Gary Kish who went above and beyond to ensure that i was satisfied with the entire transaction. Great job/ great service.our older Range Rover was in need of some repairs and fixes.Amber in service did a great job in helping us thru the process. It did take a few weeks- but they let us use a loaner ride which allowed us to keep on working- and keep our daily lives normal.I also expected to take some time- the parts dont grow on trees/ and sometimes you have to go across the big pond to get them : )RR is all fixed and running great and my fiance is so happy to have her rolling stones car back.If we need anything we will contact Amber and the TEAM at Farmington Hills Land Rover.
Took my vehicle in for routine service today. Immediately met by Ryan the Service Manager as I pulled in the Service Bay. The process couldnt have went smoother. They finished work 10 minutes ahead of schedule. Nothing but good stuff to say about the service levels here. @Ryan - thanks again bud! I purchased my Range Rover from this dealership. Let me start by saying, the salesperson (Robbie) who assisted me has my business for life. Knowledgeable, no nonsense, straight to the point, handled business. I ended up needing service and this would be the first time I would be using this Land Rover dealer for service. I’ve conducted business with other Land Rover dealers and l explained to Ryan that I couldn’t make it in time to grab a loaner. Ryan was able to deliver the vehicle, and take my car in for service. Terrible new car purchase experience for the second time. Went into the dealership on two ocassions and was not approached or greeted by anyone after walking around the Jaguar and Ranger Rovers on the showroom. There were two salesmen sitting to the far left of the front entrance without customers and no one offered a greeting or acknowledgement. The one dark hair man got up walked up to the coffee area refilled his cup returned to his desk and still no greeting. We proceeded towards the back headed towards service to see if we could get assistance- nothing. I asked if a rep named Cheyenne was available and was told let me see, no one ever came, cashier paged new car sales- nothing. If we cant get assistance to buy a car I cant imagine the lack of assistance for service. Erhard Jaguar Land Rover you give the brand a bad name. Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC should be ashamed of your less than stellar customer service. Didnt realize Erhard owned the BMW dealer down the street as we were also looking at an X5 there, wouldnt dare by anything from this organization. Although Bill the sales rep there was attentive we wouldnt put any revenue in your pockets. We used to service our current vehicle here and were asked why we didnt buy it here, same still holds true you dont appreciate or respect your customers.
My new 2019 Land Rover Discovery HSE is showing rust after only 6 months on the entire exhaust system. Purchased from Land Rover Farmington Hills. I took my vehicle in and spoke to the service manager. His response was... it is perfectly normal for the car to show rust after 6 months. I barely drive the car and have only 3,000 miles on it. Dealership advised me to call Land Rover customer relations, which I did. Their response was the same. In fact, they told me its the dealerships responsibility. It is very disappointing that both Land Rover and Land Rover Farmington Hills will not accept responsibility. You would expect better service and quality from a luxury car manufacturer.
I was very pleased with my purchase from Erhard Jaguar Land Rover. The service was exceptional and very professional. I highly commend the professionalism with which Jhin Hur the Sales Consultant handled the transactions from my first contact through my driving off the lot with the car. There was no pressure on me. He was quite knowledgeable on the vehicle’s features, technology, and even provided enough information on financing options. I cannot express enough how appreciative I am of the experience I had at Erhard JLR.
Even though my Land Rover didnt work out due to various problems, the service department was always top notch! The Service manager Joe was attentive and knowledgeable and always tried to do his best to help me then things went wrong. My service advisor Justin also was caring and did his best to resolve every issue. In the end the Rover was not for me due to various problems but the service department scores a 5/5 in my book!
I purchased the preferred membership when buying my vehicle . I have taken in 2 x in the past year for detail and both times my vehicle has come back with an issue that has never been resolved ! I have 2 more details to use and am Leary because of this . Service at this location is very poor !Update : After posting a poor review I was contacted by the service manager Joe , he apologized for the delay in contacting me and wanted to rectify the problem immediately. My vehicle is fixed and I am a happy customer .
I had very good service the second time I went in. The first trip was to schedule a replacement for a windshield molding and they had to order the part. The only hiccup was that they never called to schedule the work after they got the part.When I went back they had the part in stock, scheduled the work for the following day and came to pick up my LR4 at work and leave me a loaner. Throughout both visits, everyone was very competent, helpful and courteous. I have no complaints at all. Just wish I hadnt had to do the follow up ...
I bought a Preowned Land rover Evoque and everything felt fine , I liked the vehicle and the customer service. They told me how good the vehicle is and I tried my best to check If there is any problem in the vehicle. Since Its a big brand and they were treating me well, Hence I thought that they are telling me everything about the vehicle.However when I bought the vehicle I found a crack on its windshield which I never happened to Notice , After which I called them and they told me that this issue was already mentioned in some of the document they gave me.So It was basically my fault but I always thought that they are not hiding any information about the vehicle from me. Now I think that there may be some other issues which might come up in future which I didnt check.So my suggestion would be to always check the vehicle thoroughly before buying It.The customer service will only tell you that how good the vehicle is but they will never ever tell its issue.
Arik and terry were great with making sure I was happy with my car. They did everything they could to meet all of my requests and they delivered! I’ll definitely be back for another car from them in the future and I would absolutely recommend them to any of my friends and family. Very happy with my purchase!
Unfortunately I had a bad experience with their service consultants. One time I picked up my car it was damaged. But more recently I asked for my service person to give me a estimate of the time to change oil, rotate tires and check my navigation issue. He said that he would call way before noon to let me know. I brought the car in the morning and did not get a response until I called him just before closing. The service person assumed that It was okay for me to leave my car for the weekend. Upon assisting that he have my car ready by 4 oclock he called me as I was driving to the dealership and asked if I would pay over the phone so that they could leave on time.....I would just say that the two people that I have dealt with in the past have been unprofessional. I love the car but will find another dealership for my next car.
This visit was very disappointing! After being told there was no issue, I had to prove I had a leak in my sunroof by pouring a bottle of water over it. Then I was told by a Genius manager that if the h20 goes in from a different angle, it wont leak?? I said well, does it matter if the roof is closed and water is pouring in a $100K vehicle?? UNBELIEVABLE!! And they wonder why the electrical system sucks?? ITS WET!!!
EDIT: 4/12/2019This original review below was posted in December 2018.. and I was already disappointed in the way Jaguar Land Rover Farmington Hills handled my case. The same safety issue regarding my car to stall out mid drive continued to happen 4 more times.. every time I had taken the vehicle to the dealership for service.. they would tell me it is fixed.. give me the car and the same very dangerous and serious issue would happen again.. x4! Even one of their own service reps had to test drive the car and the issue happened to her. I have completely lost all faith in this dealership. I finally received my fixed vehicle yesterday even after pleading my case that they are sticking me in a vehicle with repeat serious safety issues that I dont feel safe in. Obviously it is not their life that is at risk, it is mine, and they refused to keep me in a loaner or any vehicle for that matter that would ensure a safer route. Please read other reviews regarding this dealership.. for less of a headache go to another dealership.Hate to even give this place a 1 star as the service and care for the customers is less than that. I have had my 2017 Range Rover Evoque for a little over 2 years and have experienced more problems than a 2009 Nissan Pathfinder. First my speakers were bad and it took them over 2 months and constant follow ups from myself to get this issue resolved. Next, the gas pump indicator must be bad as I have to constantly stand at the gas pump to make sure it does not click off, a huge inconvenience especially in the winter. When I address this issue with them, they give me the run around and says it happens.. I am confused, if they know it happens then why havent they fixed this. Lastly, the car will stall when pressing on the gas pedal, just like a delayed acceleration. On top of that in the middle of my driving an error will read reselect gear to maneuver, which is very dangerous and scary when I am making a turn and a car is coming right behind me. I have been dealing with Jim on all of these occasions, and he can care less about taking care of the customer. For the cost and status affiliated with Land Rover I am extremely disappointed. I really advise anyone to take a read at the reviews and ask people with their experience with the car.
Great buying experience! While other dealerships seemed to not have the time for us, Cheyenne and Tony quickly followed up to ensure all of our questions were quickly and accurately answered. Pricing was competitive and buying process was easy. Will be back for future car buying needs.
Im rating this a three because I took my car in for a wheel alignment, water getting inside the car when it rains, and a full detailed. Well I got a call saying I needed a few other things such as rear brakes, pads, and routers, something call a toll, and a noise that my car was making that I had diagnose a while back and they said that they didnt hear it, but they heard this time so I said fix it. I want to keep up with the maintenance on my car its an 2008 xj8 jaguar a beauty. Well when I got my car back today I still feel shaking when I go a certain speed ( so Im guessing it wasnt the alignment I dont know Im going to call my service guy on tomorrow so I hope I get a reason why I still feel the shakes , and the noise I heard it come back on today. I paid $2,000 and some change not credit either I didnt want to have to call anybody back especially after paying what i paid, but I will and Im sure that they will fix the problem. Customer Service was great my detailing was alright. Im not mad just not satisfied.
I took my 2019 Jaguar XE in for its first service. I chose to set in their waiting area since my service rep, Amber, indicated that my car should be done in 1 to 1.5 hours. I brought a coffee and my current book with me. My car was serviced and I was on my home home, in a clean car, within the time range indicated.Im very satisfied.
I highly recommend Ryan as your service advisor! He went above and beyond in ensuring my vehicle was well taken care of. Going to the dealer can be an intimidating process but I am glad Ryan is a part of the wonderful LandRover team! I am looking forward to future business here.
I have leased cars for the last 30 years and I have never been treated better by a service team. I went from Lincoln to Land Rover and I was skeptical at first. Automobiles are mechanical and they have issues from time to time. The service manager Aaron and the service advisor Johnny go out of their way to make sure having your car in service does not interfere with your day to day activities.Landrover Farmington Hills is second to none.Jeff Eason
My service was longer than expected. My extended warranty doesn’t cover components that I thought would under certain conditions. But getting a warranty on a premium vehicle is recommended because of the high maintenance on a specific vehicle.. so far the extended warranty has paid for itself.
I made an appt at Jaguar Land Rover Farmington hills to have two things addressed, 1) an alert that suspension system compressor had failed and 2) that a check engine light had come on which I had read for free at an advanced auto facility alerting me that the exhaust sensor had failed and could potentially impact the turbos. I reviewed this all with the service advisor upon my arrival and she said no problem I’ll get it in and follow up with you in an hour to let you know what we find, sign here for this service. An hour went bye, I heard from no one after the 2nd hour I tracked down the service advisor and she said “yep they should be finishing up I’ll be right with you”. 20 minutes later she brings me (5) page document explaining exactly what I had told her was wrong with the vehicle upon my arrival. She then ushered me to a window to check out with their cashier. I asked her was anything repaired? Her response was no we just diagnosed it and if you want it repaired you’ll need to schedule another appt which will take another 3-4 hours. When checking out I was given a bill for $278 dollars to tell me exactly what I had told them was wrong with my Range Rover.This is terrible service, it was not explained that this diagnosis I was already aware of was going to cost me anything! I have owned Cadillac’s/ Lincoln’s and several other high end cars where if there is anything wrong which is rarely the case any charges that I may be responsible for were clearly brought to my attention before being handed a bill.I won’t be back to this dealership and am disgusted that as a customer and owner of such an expensive vehicle was “serviced” in this fashion. Takeaway: go to Jaguar Land Rover of Farmington hills and they will wash your vehicle for $278 dollars however it will take them 2 1/2 hours to do it.
Got a great deal on an awesome Vehicle. Everything on the dealership end was handled quickly and efficiently. From sales to finance to going through the vehicle and showing us how everything worked. I recommend this dealership highlighly, as far as the Jaguar E-Pace, it speaks for itself, I love it!!!
Good place, very good at what they do, my issue is , I disagree with the whole diagnostic aspect. I came in for an oil change, They did a once over on my vehicle, they had many concerns about my vehicle and things that I needed to get fixed, I went over on my oil change miles and my check engine light was on. They would not clear the light because that was a diagnostic that costs 126.00? really, they said we have to hook up the computer? really, you plug in a tablet sized device, check a few buttons, and you could have cleared the check engine light, when you reset the 7500 miles oil change count down indicator. It is kind of a slap in the face. At every turn I seem to have to come out of my pocket. where is the customer loyalty? none, they could have thrown me a bone and cleared the check engine light but no, nothing.
Hi, I just purchased a Discovery Sport from JLR Farmington Hills. My Sales Consultant was Jade Dunn. She was great, very helpful, provided money saving tips, knowledgeable of the vehicle, and if she didnt know an answer she found out the answer right away. She arranged everything with the sale for an effortless purchase. Nice Job Jade. Now for the vehicle! I would have to say that this vehicle is a surprise and delight. This is the nicest vehicle I have ever owned and was just what I was looking for as far as features go, and a great value.
Friendly staff, and speed and easiness of the service was great as always! One thing that I was very surprised about was that practically no one at the place was wearing masks (except the customers coming in). Apart from the Michigan mask requirement, the use of masks (or lack thereof) sends a message - masks protects those around you more than they protect yourself - seeing these only on the customers and not on your staff provides an impression to your customers what your priorities are. Id strongly recommend you to rethink this and step up your effort. Also, open and shared drinking area is probably not a good idea either in the middle of a deadly pandemic.
Every time I have my vehicle serviced, JLR Service Department provides quality service. I was greeted with a warm welcome, great appearance and a wonderful smile from John Manoviec. He was very professional and efficient. The time frame in which he stated the vehicle would be ready was right on and the issue was resolved. Service is always great. This time Chris and the Jaguar specialists took some extra time to show me a few of the features on my XJL that I never new I had. (there is always one more to discover it seems). I somehow manage to always have everything covered under warrantee or the service plan that came with my Jag. (even get dropped off to my home, etc.)
I was disappointed with the service advisor (Elisa Kuczera ) and her lack of concern and downplay for the issues with my 2018 Evoque. I returned for a second time for service with the same problem...a battery low warning light. She asked if the car was not driven for more than a week. We were advised by her that draining like this is normal after a week.In my experience, and with vehicles I have owed in recent years, including Mercedes, BMW, and Jeep, this issue is NOT normal! As we frequently travel for a week or more at a time, we are now concerned about being stranded at an airport due to a dead battery, If there is a known technical issue, I certainly would appreciate hearing that rather than the nonsense that batteries can completely drain in a weeks time. When I picked up the car the advisor was not available so I was handed the keys. I requested another advisor to explain what was done, which she did. I must say, the experience was disconcerting which makes me question whether I bought the right car for me.
Like most dealers they take advantage of charging high prices for parts you cant buy in the aftermarket, but their service personnel are always courteous and do their best to walk you through what work needs to be done and why. Not sure about the thoroughness of some of their technicians as I asked to have the spare electronic key fob checked. I was told the key was tested and found bad, it wasnt the battery and would need to be replaced at a cost of over $300. Didnt make sense so I just took the original one with me, got on You Tube and within 2 mins, changed out the battery and it worked perfectly! Mistakes happen and maybe they werent too concerned about a simple battery change, but that could have cost me >$300! That was disappointing

During a routine service visit the advisor was unclear on what would be included and inaccurately recorded my other concerns. At pickup I pointed out they failed to replace engine filter and cabin pollen filters as specified in the dealer service manual. I waited while they corrected those and hope they actually flushed the brake fluid. The service manager only marginally acknowledged my concerns. I wont be returning.
Poor poor service. I have a recall on my 2018 Velar related to HVAC and they cant even return my phone call or get me in soon to fix this safety issue. I had to call them 4 times before I could even talk to someone who knows about this problem. Unbelievable! Also, I regret buying this in the first place. For $85k I would expect not just good service, but a great product. In this case, I got nothing other than the logo thats in the front of the vehicle. Vehicle has tons of bugs. Buy domestic or Japanese brand only. Well worth the money and a lot less hassle. This is way way overrated.
First experience at this dealership as we just moved from Chicago. We had fantastic service at Fields, Northfield for the past 7 years. I am incredibly impressed that Land Rover, Farmington Hills follows the same model of excellent customer service. It would be nice to have a dealer closer to Toledo but I dont mind the drive when the service experience is seamless.
Rain was forecast for the evening. Sunroof would not close. Called Jaguar LandRover service Dept. Did not have an appointment, was told to bring my car in anyway. Drove right into service, was greeted by Chris who immediately got a technician to diagnose why my sunroof would not close. He took my car back into the shop, hooked up the computer to it and found out why the sunroof motor was immobilized. He reset the system and now sunroof opens & closes as usual. He then offered to wash my car. Chris also had a loaner waiting if the problem could not have been fixed in a timely manner. Went in for service for the air conditioning intermittently blowing hot air instead of cold air. This is the second time that I have had to have it looked at. The ac system was investigated but the hot air issue was not discovered. So, I retrieved my jaguar and on the way back to my home, the ac started working well, for only 10 minutes or so,then it started blowing hot air (110 degrees on a 94 degree day). This situation continued for about 45 minutes, then the ac started cooling again for 20 minutes. Then it started blowing hot air again.It seems to me that the technicians did not remove the air conditioning compressor and check the pressure valve - as has been reported to be a problem with F-Type systems since 2015. Im about to inquire about the Michigan lemon law if the third time cant fix the issue.
DO NOT BUY OR LEASE A VEHICLE FROM ANTHONY OCONNOR. He did not negotiate, pressured me into getting a vehicle, and lied about a temporary plate. He informed me that car dealerships can not get you a temporary plate. That is a lie because my mother just bought a car the same week at a different dealership and they got her a temporary plate, no problem. I started having issues with my Range Rover Evoque the same week I received the vehicle. I left Anthony two voicemails and one email contacting him about my problems with the vehicle. I gave him one week to respond to me. He NEVER did. I had to call and make an appointment to get my brand new car serviced after two weeks of having it. They have had my car for a week and a half and have not called to update me on how my vehicle is doing or when I may get it back. I would go to a different car dealership. I had problems with the salesman AND the vehicle.
My car was suppose to be picked up on Friday, October 4, but they never showed up to pick it up with a loner or called me toblet me know they weren’t coming. I called them to discuss the no sho on Tuesday, October 8 and they called me back stating they could come and pick it up a round 1:00 with a loner. I received my car back on Thursday, October 10. The work was done in a prompt manner and of a quality level. I like the work Farmington does on my car just not the professionalism when scheduling and picking up my vehicle when it was scheduled a month ahead of time.
I would say going to this dealership was the worst experience I ever had. I went one day to test drive a Velar and they gave me a different pricing for the car. The next time I actually went to buy the car with my Jaguar Land Rover employee pricing, they changed the price of the same Velar and gave me all BS. I would never recommend them to anyone. I will try to also talk to the JLR upper management and file a complaint. One star is the least I can give.
My experience with Land Rover has been a positive one including my new car and the last. My salesman Craig is top notch, Aric is unbelievable, and the dealership itself is very people friendly. My vehicles have been a great experience within themselves because of the fine craftsmanship put into making these beautiful automobiles. I dont think that I will ever own anything other than a Land Rover.
Average. I booked an appointment to test drive a car. When i got there i was met by someone else at the door who obviously thought i couldnt afford a jaguar until the sales representative i booked the appointment with came out and meet me, she was super nice but i couldnt forget being mistreated by the other guy. Thanks to that i found a better offer somewhere else.
Dropped my car off for an airbag recall. After numerous days after the day they told me my car would be ready, I finally got the call to pick up my car. Received my car w/ a smashed & all chipped bumper that was in mint condition prior to picking up. I took my car back not even 2 minutes after realizing this, the staff proceeded to try to blame my ruined bumper on the fact that “it’s an older model.” When leaving, I told them I would be contacting them later, when contacted they stated “we will not be taking responsibility for the damages bumper.”
I had a great experience with you all Elisa was a great representative she help me with everything but my radio did act up again for a couple of minutes and pop on again just wanted to let you know. I really enjoyed the Velar Range Rover it was a great ride. Thank You Lisa Murray-Terrell
Justin from service was great! dropped the car off and within 10 minutes, Im out the door with a car ready for me. whenever you buy a car from a dealer, the sales always treats you like royalty. what really matters is returning after the purchase has been made and how the service department treats you. A-1 in my book. keep it up!
-So I have a 13 evoque and brought it in for oil change. Completed without any issues. However they did not acknowledge the tire pressure monitor fault. I asked about a warranty door repair and they said they would order the part and call me when it arrived. I NEVER received a call, I had to call back a month later and ask about it and schedule an appointment.-Fast forward to the Warranty repair... The repair started out well, I was given a loaner vehicle during the repair and overnight. The next morning at 8:30am I was called saying the vehicle was finished and I told them I would be there by 10:30a. I arrived on time and my vehicle was not ready yet, the service coordinator said it would take 10-15 minutes to be ready and the mechanic did not complete the ticket to get it cleaned for delivery. I had an appointment that required me to LEAVE by 11am. So after waiting 30 minutes to get my vehicle (I was told 15max) I had to demand my vehicle be returned so I can leave. Instead of getting my vehicle right away I was given excuses about what the cleaning consists of. I requested my vehicle again that was still in process of cleaning and left. Also they did not return my custom Range Rover Valve stem for my tire I am missing it due to POOR ATTENTION TO DETAIL.-The next day I was called by a for a follow up and also stating they would send a survey. I told them my issues and I would take my business elsewhere, I will drive further away to get service instead of going to this location. They asked if I told the manager. I said no and I also never received a survey (I assume they didnt want a bad rating from me)-This location asked ME to take it to the manager, not ensure their employees handle good customer service. They did not do anything to EARN my business from a bad situation, just made it my fault.-They never sent a survey, NO manager ever called me after I told them of my issue-Negative reviews from this location do not get a reply from the Dealer, ONLY GOOD REVIEWS GET A REPLY. They dont care about making sure people who are unhappy get better service.I will DRIVE OUT OF MY WAY for another dealership instead of working with them again.
Easily the worst dealership I have dealt with. Salespeople are rude, so I bought it from another land rover in an adjacent city. A few months later I took the vehicle for routine maintenance and land Rover Farm Hls service department damaged a totally unrelated part, the Shift mechanism, so I had to waste time dropping it back off for repair. Eric in Service was awful to deal with. One day before I was scheduled to turn in my lease, I called to make an appointment - the receptionist said no one is here who can help you call back tomorrow. I called back and spoke to a salesperson and he said Sure bring it up anytime. 2 hours later (Julie in sales called back to say We cant & wont except your vehicle, the lot is full, go back to the dealer you bought it from they have to take it. I called and spoke to Land Rover Farming Hills ctr mgr Terry(no help) - and Terry said the same thing We dont have to take it. Glad I didnt buy from them the first time!! - I have no intention of dealing with Land Rover Farmington Hills ever again. Customer Dis-Service.
The service department was a breath of fresh air. After going to the Land Rover of Grand Rapids and experiencing the worst service I have experienced in any industry I was pleasantly pleased with the service. I am expecting to continue to bring my business back to Land Rover of Farmington Hills. Kudos to Mr. Snow who took care of all my needs.
This was a disappointing experience. As soon as they received my check (I live in Philadelphia and the car was shipped to me) all sense of urgency went out the window. My car was sent to me without temporary tags or registration. They lied and said they dont send cars with that information. I said so given I dont have a driveway and the car is parked on the street without tags or registration (which is illegal in Philadelphia) how am I suppose to prove ownership? If the car is stolen or towed what am I suppose to do? They told me to put some type of tape around the car. I had no idea what in the world he was talking about. I said FedEx is open until 9pm send it to me now so I can receive it tomorrow. That would have had me receiving it Saturday. They said ok. They didnt do it. Bottom line, I didnt receive the documents until Tuesday. I called a manager to complain and told them what had been going on. The manager said it is completely false that they do not send cars with tags and registration and that both should have been delivered with the car...which I already knew. Now onto the shipping. Of course they recommended a company and I went with their suggestion. I was suppose to receive a call 2 hours ahead of their arrival. It didnt happen. I paid $1000 to have the car delivered to my front door. They called and said they had arrived. I said where are you? They said Roosevelt Blvd...which is 20 miles from my house! They said they couldnt come closer because of trees. I said there arent any low hanging trees near me. They said they just couldnt come closer and I needed to uber to pick up my car. I said, you should have googled to see where I live and the best way to get here and they must figure it out. 4 more calls and about 1 hour later they said they said they couldnt get closer. I told them do not call me again until you are in front of my house with the car and that they are not the first large truck to drive the streets Philadelphia. 1.5 hours later they call to say they are down the street, cant get closer and could I come there to pick up the car. I said OK. I walk about 4 -5 blocks and get there to find out the whole time I wasnt speaking to the driver I was speaking to his friend who wasnt even in the transporting vehicle with him! The friend was calling me because the driver didnt speak English. Unbelievable. Then I had to drive the car home WITHOUT tags or registration, praying I wouldnt get pulled over because there wasnt a way to prove I had purchased the car! The whole experience was drama filled, poorly managed and lacking professionalism! There are many more details I could go into like phone calls not being returned once the check was received but its just too much to type.
I came from Ohio and bought a car for my daughter at this Jaguar Farmington Hills dealership. My purchase went very smoothly, the staff were honest, knowledgeable, and professional. It was a pleasure doing business with this company and I am looking forward to purchase another vehicle for myself this summer at this location.
Prior to going this location i Google it to see reviews, and by reading what some people were saying about the service center Manger Joseph cant think of his last name. I was skeptical. When I got there guess who I got to see? Joe. And thank God I listened to my self and went anyway. He was attentive patient. I had a flash card with all my problems that needed to be fixed and he sat there went over everyone of them with me big or small. He answered all of my questions was respectful and communicated with me the whole process. So to me that is truly exceptional service. So again thank you Joe and Roger the car sales man.

I had the best experience Ive ever had with a dealership at LR Farmington Hills. Anthony Cross was extremely helpful in finding me exactly what I wanted and for the right price and it was done quick. He was pleasant, knowledgeable and thorough and was a pleasure to do business with. He even delivered the car to me since Im not local to the FH area. I will highly recommend Anthony and LRFH to anyone who asks.
Since I bought the car from them I returned it to be repaired because of the same problem about ten times, and none of those times have they been able to repair my car. Given the excuses of the nothing wrong or that its all done and fix when they really havent done anything to it. Range Rover dealer that cannot repair its own cars which I payed big bucks for, what a shame.Update: They couldnt fix it so I traded that piece of garbage for a true American Icon the Jeep wrangler unlimited Moab.
Considering buying a Land Rover but definitely not from Farmington Hills! Visited a couple of months ago (prior to the release of the new Velar) and provided my information for the salesperson to contact me after release. Four weeks after release no one ever called so I decided to stop in. Saw the same sales guy who gave me a line about how he has been so busy he didnt have time to call me. Regardless, I went to the receptionist and asked to speak with another salesperson for assistance. She paged overhead and after 10 minutes no one came to help. I wandered over to the office area where no less than 6 salesmen were hanging out chatting. I asked if they were in a meeting and one replied no and came to help me. We sat down at his desk and within about 3 minutes of starting our discussion, he took another customer phone call and proceeded to help them decide which vehicle was right for them. At that point I grabbed a brochure and left. Will not recommend this place based entirely on the poor customer service!
Recently was on a road trip from Milwaukee to Detroit in a new 2017 Jaguar XE. Had the bad luck of getting a flat tire on the way.I emailed Farmington Hills on a Saturday morning informing them of my situation and was promptly contacted back by Jennifer. She attempted to locate tires in the area but informed me it would have to be ordered and immediately got it added to the Tuesday delivery.Jennifer contacted warranty and was able to get everything covered for me and also arranged with their local wheel repair expert who did a great job fixing some small dents on the wheel.I hope to never need a service visit in Michigan again but if I do they will definitely be my go to. Thanks to Jennifer and team for all the help and getting me back on the road!Nate
Went in for an oil change on my rover @ 730 am. didnt leave until 1 PM. Oil change was 200$. I got a land rover, I understand. but I also had a few minor problems that they didnt even fix but charge me another 200$ diagnostics on something I already knew was wrong. I would never do business here ever again. wouldnt recommend the service department at least. Also I know the dealer reads these. Please dont contact me on behalf of my review. Get something right
Nothing like Jaguar of Novi used to be... Brought my car in.. It was serviced.. But was not cleaned when I came to pick it up...: my service man was at lunch.. Another had to cash me out and seem very bothered by it and with my questions... Actually when I got home I noticed a Nick in my bumper it look like it was from a trailer hitch... that explains why my car was parked the way it was when I came to pick it up.. It was back up to the garage... also two days later my windshield wipers fell off and scratch my windshield I called to explain my busy schedule and what happened .. and told them about the Nick in the bumper.. And how the car was not clean as promised when I came to pick it up.. And had heard nothing back since... that was in late August.. Now somebody hit my jaguar.... and Im very hesitant to bring it in for repair... also I was. told my back brakes were about to go out.. I purchased front brakes and new tires from Jaguar.... I went to another dealer and they said I had three to 4 mm left on both back brakes....
Sadly our issue with the suspension fault warning popping on all the time was not resolved. I was told when I called back that I would have to drop my Range Rover off for several days. I live 70 miles away and that is not doable for me.Also very upset that the front passenger floor mat was missing. They said it couldnt have happened there. So, now if I want to replace it, if I can even find it for the 2006, it would be pricey.Also wanted them to look at a second key I have that doesnt open locks remotely but does start the car. $139 just to look at it.They did fix the leak in transmission.
What a great dealership. The place is first class at the way. Our salesmane Robbie was the best. Very knowledgable and professional. No high pressure sales pitch. Fantastic experience with the Land Rover Dealer. The Salesman Robbie Ghanem actually brought the vehicle to my home to test drive, explained my option in turning in my lease early, and prepared all the paperwork for me to sign the Purchase of my new LR4 and brought it to my home to sign. He took my lease vehicle away with him. I did not even have to go to the dealer. That is what I call service.
Took my Range Rover Sport in as my brake light came on. The service was courteous, but the mechanic mis-diagnosed the brake lines as having rusted through. Quoted $4k to replace the brake lines. (My warranty company refused the work as they dont cover age-related rust). I took it to another mechanic who identified a union had failed and remarked the lines look great, theres no corrosion on them.I took a look at the brake lines myself, apart from being a little dirty, they looked as-new, no sign of any corrosion.(Charged me $200 for mis-diagnosis, and prevented me from making a claim for the work, so Im $500 out of pocket).
This Dealership is terrible. Service is sad. Every issue that I had with this dealership was met with yes you are correct... we messed this up..... that’s all. No attempt to correct the issue at all. Including the sales team. If you want bad service and then get ghosted when you bring it to thier attention well this is the place. If the owner reads this then feel free to reach out to me bud. All communications between the dealership and I are in email and text. It is laughable. FYI. This was over Only 1 service trip. Leased a 2018 RR Sport V8 SC. Was ordering a jaguar F Pace svr as well but I canceled that. Buyer Beware!!!!!!
I showed them 10 out of tons of screen shots from my iPhone that an error occurred with Remote climate after 3 days they said that we replaced a battery that might help to fix the issue, but I still dont see any improvements and most of the times I cannot start my car with Landrover certified remote app. I also showed them how the doors of my car squeak while being closed and opened, they said and wrote that it is fixed! but still nothing is fixed. even they did not bother themselves to check if the noise is fixed or not by simply opening and closing one of the door of the car! I wish there had been a negative -star rating available here.
Had a great experience buying a used vehicle through JLR Farmington Hills. The sales consultant I worked with, Tony Cross, was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and honest. No high-pressure sales pitching or harassment like you might find at other dealerships. They even detailed the vehicle for me before I came to pick it up. I would highly recommend working with Tony and the folks at JLR Farmington HIlls.
My wife and I are a pretty average two income family, and frankly not what I would think of when thinking Range Rover. This was never how I felt at Land Rover Farmington Hills. I always felt like a valued customer and never treated like I was wasting anyones time. Tony Moore helped us through the whole process and in the end we both left the dealership feeling like a part of their family. I love my vehicle, Tony and the team there did everything to make sure we were completely satisfied and beyond. I will do business here again when it is time for our next vehicle and be recommending everyone I can to come see Tony. He is a real asset to the company and treats all his customers like cherished friends! Thank you again.
2020 Range Rover with 10000 millle this expensive truck stop on me in highway I took it same place I buy it they told me they replace full pump after week stope on me again same problem we paid top dollars to drive this vehicle I don’t think they replace the full pump they just lied to me if that happens 1 more time I will post a video on Facebook book Twitter Instagram every where to let people now about this Dealler I will never go there and buy any cars from this place

My sales representative Lenore (LP) was awesome! She patiently walked with me through my first time purchase, because she wanted me to be satisfied when I rode off into the sunset. She is a Rep with great taste, as well as integrity, and I recommend her highly to anyone who is interested in making a purchase from this dealership. I drove from Macomb county to this dealer, and I am very glad I did. I am looking forward to my driving experience with this brand and high expectations of excellent service. 2022-06-25Worked with David ali over the phone, dead set on the vehicle I wanted and he KILLED IT. cant recommend him enough. When my wife is ready for her next vehicle we found our guy. He set up everything in less than 24 hrs, little to no effort on our part, and when we went in took the extra time to help us decide on our other vehicles replacement. 2022-05-31I had been contemplating on whether to bite the bullet or not and purchase a new vehicle. I finally made the decision and determined I would move from a sedan to an SUV. After looking around, I was sold on a Jaguar F pace. I liked the S and I pace but a girl has a budget. I came into the Jaguar Farmington Hills dealership and began working with Lenore. She walked me through the lot and shared her knowledge of the vehicles as well their similarities and differences. For starters, I ask a plethora of questions, and Lenore’s expertise shown through in each of her responses. I felt confident I didn’t just have someone who was trying to make a sale, but someone who really wanted me to make the best informed decision possible. Although I was still not ready to purchase that day, she was still kind and beyond helpful. She gave me her cell number folks. Okayyy!!! I kept an eye of online inventory and 2 weeks later, I noticed 2 vehicles. I immediately contacted Lenore and sent her the details. When I arrived, she had the information on each and I landed on 1 of the two. Lenore was more than what I could have asked for in a sales person. She didn’t just help me buy a vehicle. She guided me through it all, even down to switching my plate. She believes in servicing her clients from start to finish. I have had Lexus and BMW vehicles before, but Lenore’s service and kindness is unmatched. When I juxtapose her candor, authenticity, kindness and knowledge to other sales persons, she stands far above the rest…in a league of her own. I’m not just saying this…it’s true, so much so that in walking out of the dealership, it felt like Christmas morning with the gifts she had given to me, showing her appreciation of me as a valued customer. I am beyond happy with my vehicle. Let’s face it..it’s a Jaguar so what could be disappointing in that?! But I am even more so elated with the level of service excellence provided to me. Unless I get a Bentley or Rolls Royce, I am sticking with Lenore and Jaguar. I see no need in preempting perfection. 😊

2022-07-05We came to the dealership just to look at a car. Lenore met us outside with a huge smile and made us feel extremely at ease, even though we had no appointment. She took all the time we needed and we decided on a Defender. We had originally planned on a different Land Rover, but we could not be happier! The customer service we received with Lenore was excellent and the whole process was very easy.

2022-04-13I had a phenomenal experience at Land Rover of Farmington Hills. My first interaction with the dealership was a few months ago when I walked in unannounced looking for a Range Rover Sport. Due to the limited vehicle production world-wide, I was not able to find my perfect vehicle that day; however, that visit did lead me to meet a Sales Executive, David Ali. Mr. Ali was very approachable and knowledgeable of the vehicles. He also didnt try to hard sell me, which is something that irks me (for whatever reason).David suggested I test drive a Jaguar F-Pace, in lieu of the lack of black Range Rover Sports that met my specific criteria. Honestly, I loved the F-Pace, and had there been a black one on the lot, I may have pulled the trigger on it.Ultimately, Im glad that didnt happen though. In the weeks that followed my initial visit, David and I kept in touch, and when the perfect vehicle finally came available, I raced to the dealership, took it for about a 30 second test drive w/ David (that was all the time I needed), and went inside to finalize the deal.Overall it was a great experience and I love the car. Ill definitely be buying vehicles from David / Land Rover Farmington Hills for the foreseeable future.

2020-08-30I purchased my Range Rover sport in August of last year. And it is the best vehicle I have ever purchased, I wont drive anything else now because nothing can compare to my RR.Anyway I took my vehicle in for routine maintenance yesterday and met with Ryan Bielat, one of the many helpful service advisors. He made sure to explain the whole process to me and gave me a few recommendations. He was extremely courteous and gave me the respect that all customers deserve!! I give service here 5 stars because they got my vehicle right ✅ and it didnt take a week to get it back. Ryan made sure I had a nice loaner vehicle (jaguar F pace) to make it back and forth to work. Thank you Ryan.The next person I want to highlight is Ted in sales😁 Ted is extremely knowledgeable on all the vehicles and he did a fantastic job of explaining the difference in RR engines and models, Ted will be getting my business when its time for me to upgrade to the full size RR next year 😀👍Thank you Theodore 😊That brings me to Eric in finance 💰 🤑 Eric will get you approved. Call him and blow his phone up, he wont mind. 😅This is a beautiful clean facility and they have plenty of models to choose from. You can actually walk through this Land Rover lot and view the vehicles. 2022-03-03I have driven just about every luxury vehicle and this by far was the absolute worse experience I have ever had. My car was scratched up from being outside, it was not inspected, they did not offer me gap insurance, the salesman, Gary was not attentive or helpful, the gentleman who was supposed to show mehow to work the inside of my car had another appointment so I am still trying to figure it out…and the list goes on! I purchased a very expensive vehicle but the service was the poorest Ive experienced in my 22 years of car purchases.
