As a minority, I’m use to not feeling welcome. But this place takes it to a whole new level. This place needs some serious training on customer service and experience.

Comment: I recently purchased a used vehicle from Land Rover Livermore and was overly impressed on how I was treated and their customer service. I worked directly with the Sales Manager, Frank and Sales Associate Louie and I couldnt be happier with the end result. I called Frank prior to committing to make the 1.5 hour drive to the dealership and he was very transparent regarding a bottom line price and didnt try to push or sale me on additional coverages, options, extras that I didnt want or need. When I arrived at the dealership I worked with Louie who had the vehicle ready to test drive and he was also great. He let me move a my speed, he listened and was professional. I say all that to say this; if you want to have a great car buying experience, with a sales team who isnt going to insult your intelligence and shoot you straight, which isnt easy to come by these days, check out this dealership!

The staff is very attentive and knowledgeable, and always know the latest trends and newest features for Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles.The dealership is beautiful as well, with visuals of all the different finishes and colors their cars are available in. I specifically love the one-car garage built into the space, where a featured car is usually showcased.My personal favorite is the new Defender, which replaced the classic LR4 a few years ago. This vehicle is available in a ton of different mods, which the dedicated team at JLR Livermore can help you with during your next visit!

Comment: I took my Land Rover Car in for servicing, only to discover that they returned it without performing the promised services, which included an engine oil change and a car wash. While I couldnt verify the engine oil change, I did notice that the car had not been washed. When I brought this to the attention of the service team, they apologized and assured me they would retrieve my car to reevaluate the service items. Upon contacting them again, they claimed that all the services had been completed and nothing was left pending. Unfortunately, their service lacks reliability and professionalism.

Comment: Excellent Experience!!! Cedric Moses and his team worked patiently with me for about 2 years until I was ready to pull the trigger on purchasing my 2023 Land Rover Defender. They checked in with me regularly, never pushy, always kind, and when I was finally ready to build and order my car, they held my hand throughout the process. Frank Bogut was able to help me add on a few items last minute before the build was complete which blew me away - I truly got the vehicle absolutely the way I wanted it. They answered my questions, took my calls all hours of the day and night, allowed me to test drive and play with all of the buttons and gadgets, even sent me specifics while my car was being built, and the coordinates of the ship until it came into port. When it finally arrived, I was sent a video of my vehicle as soon as it rolled off the truck - protective covering still on the car! That was an exciting day! And the pick up of my car was a smooth transaction, we handled the paperwork with ease - thanks Wali - and I was driving off the lot before I knew it. Follow up since has been to gauge my happiness and satisfaction. I was even invited back in to spend some time going over all of the interior aspects of my Defender - thanks for all of your patience Lubna! We pressed every screen and every button until she was confident that I was comfortable with my car. Comment: I dont really like giving negative reviews, but i guess i just have to let people know that this place is not worth your money and time at all.People here just have a dont care attitude, they dont care about you, your business and have zero empathy or desire to help.I booked a custom build range rover in Feb, paid the deposit which was withdrawn next day and was promised delivery in June. 3 months later a new model got announced so i went in to change my order to the newer model with additional deposit cheque and was told everything is good to go and since i am local and loyal they will prioritize it.Come August, one of the sales rep text me that my older booking is still not available or ready to build, to my shock they did not update my order at all.7 months since my cheque was withdrawn, the guys had no clue what car i had booked.I asked to cancel the booking and refund me the cheque, which they mentioned the store manager will have a word with me on this. Upon arrival store manager (Anthony) has zero knowledge what had happened, hands me the cheque along with his business card to contact him in future for business, seriously!! doh!!There was no apology, no empathy nothing. Their attitude was like, whatever!Frank and Cedric were my sales reps, and i would not recommend them at all as they will never follow up even when you chase them continuously.I expected atleast some transparency and better communication and customer service when youre booking a 100k+ car. i wasted 7 months here where i could have easily got in line elsewhere for any other car and would have been getting ready to pickup delivery.I would highly recommend San Jose or redwood land rover dealerships, they are atleast very open in communication and value your business. With my latest interactions with them, they have continuously followed up with me and communicated with transparency.In fact they have really good benefits and deals if you are loyal customer with them and are local, so do give them a shot over these guys.

What an amazing experience of Customer Service! I had purchased my car from another dealer, had never had my car serviced here and was walking in just a few minutes before closing time.A gentleman in Parts (Ezekiel)- had a huge smile on his face and listened patiently as I described my situation, took the time to disasemble my key and proceeded to trouble shoot my issue. He reassembled the key with a new battery and walked me out to be sure to see personally whether that resolved my issue. Not only did my spare key work, but he decided not to even charge me for the battery! Thank you Ezekiel for taking the time to help me with what I know was such a small thing for you, yet a big one for me, and doing it with a wonderful positive and solutioning personality. He wasn’t pushy like the other sales people I’ve encountered in the past his atmosphere is genuine and friendly made us feel at ease. DO NOT EVER bring your car there for any reasons.I brought my car in August for two separate safety issues:-- One where it was losing power on the freeway.. almost shutting off.--Second where it would not engage the starter and I could not start the vehicle. Both were intermittent issues and both serious safety issues.To make a long story short, the service department didnt find the problems. They said they would take my car on an extended drive to try and determine the issue. After it was done, they found nothing and indicated they drove it 100 miles. Well, this is what I found out when I picked up my car and the paperwork:1) THEY ACTUALLY DROVE IT 240+ MILES instead of 100 miles(see the attached).2) DRAINED THE GAS(NO REFILL),3) SMASHED NOT JUST ONE, BUT BOTH CUP HOLDERS(see attached).The rubber knots attached to the walls in cupholders were all broken, not even one survived. One got pushed all the way in, and theres tree leaf inside the hole.4) The worst thing was they DELETED THE MAJORITY OF THE MILES FROM JOURNEYS (see attached),5) SOMEONE DROVE MY CAR HOME in Tracy stayed overnight(see attached) WITHOUT my consent.When I asked the Service Manager how/why my cupholders were broken? He responded We will replace it. ITS UNDER WARRANTY. Sounded its ok to break my car because they can fix it. What about my time and efforts to drive here and wait? I live over 30 miles away from the shop. Every visit takes me 3-4 hours, at least. Im also a single mother working professional. During this pandemic time, I had to take time off from work. Obviously, they dont care at all. I also suspect my car was likely mistreated mechanically in the same manner, causing who knows what damage down the road that I wont notice just yet. I have no doubt if they disrespected things I can readily see, that they equally disrespected things I have no way to see.Theres more disappointments with this dealership, but I dont think they deserve my time and energy anymore. Hopefully, my experience can bring some awareness to you. Best advice is, stay away!

Comment: I would like to share my experience for Range Rover evoque service at Livermore location and it was really really bad right from the way check in of the vehicle happened until it was delivered .I went in for servicing on 9/4 by scheduling servicing via phone.Since there was lot of construction I was asked to leave the vehicle outside .i was hoping to go back to vehicle with service advisor and check vehicle and suggest what’s wrong and I could show what I was unsure of and get suggestion but none of it happened .Some one just handed over the key with my odometer reading.I was asked by my advisor why I was here.since I happen to see few warning lights on battery and exclamation symbol once I turn on power button without pressing on brake and also noticed high beam turns on on auto mode for lights .Not sure about oil level and what else is needed.I was later told later all the concerns to check which will be $225 each which I never heard of from past few times I visited sanjose servicing center. I was not ready as they printed out like 4/5 *225$ and I mentioned if some one can walk with me I can get some suggestions.Since i did not want to as I had least knowledge on these things and was hoping expert to say what’s wrong with car I just mentioned the one I was sure about issue with auto high beam(got stopped on high way by driver in front twice in auto lights mode since the high beam is staying on)and get general vehicle Servcie check done .On Tuesday morning I got call saying they are still seeing the code for oil /warning but not able to see problem.Later in the noon they called my spouse and say it was done and can pick up.I called back to check what was done I was said my advisor on leave some one will call back but none called back!I went to pick up on9/9 and called since I was coming right at pick up time if they are fine with it.I Called back again and confirm since my eta was with in 5 pm.During deliver I saw the vehicle parked outside and it’s not washed where we had all the time since I said I was coming for pick up to at least get a basic wash for the customer .Since the worst part was nothing was done on the vehicle I say this because I was told by them the high beam was all good and they never saw the problem coming up or the warning light.Not sure why the charge I see on the bill for $225 when nothing was done.I happened to call twice to check on what was done and I called back on Wednesday 9/10 to Servcie team and they said Servcie manager Alex would call back since service advisor is on PTO but again did not receive the call back.I would never go back here and come back unsatisfied .as it’s return on the receipt I can call for any concerns but happened to know that I can’t get any answers or issues resolved but get charged .No one called back as below response here.I’m not expecting they call back .But wanted to inform here .The alerts are back few weeks back on dashboard when turn on car.

The manager let the lady go ahead of my wife, who was already there waiting for service. We all have busy lives and need to be somewhere. One other thing that was very unprofessional. After the mechanic repaired the wifes flat tire, he took her car on a joyride for more than 10 minutes, not to mention she saw him speeding down the street. The manager explained that the service guy needed to drive the car around for the light to be turned off. Its a 2020 Range Rover Velar. Theres no need to drive the SUV around. Once the air is in the tire, the light turns off automatically. Very unprofessional!

Comment: I was picking up parts for my Jaguar. The part was 4 plastic center caps that are pushed into the center if the wheel rims. Each one costs $61.04 plus tax. To replace all 4 costed $244.16. Even the technician at the cashier window was very surprised how much they cost. And when i arrived i had to wait several minutes until someone happened to walk by. This is why i will never buy a Jaguar ever again; especially after i had to replace my transmission twice within 100,000 miles. Poor choice of car on my part. Never again.

I am asking for a full refund for something we could not and can never use. He said will take care it. Send me an email as record and send me home.Today is Mar 27, I never heard from Mike Turner again. During these three weeks, I;ve email him twice and called him once, which goes to his voicemail. They obviously still have the store open. But they would not handle this false sale matter.By selling us this package that we can never use, Tony net in more than $2400 on top of the price. Comment: Here is my storys, I bought Range Rover here and visited for services multiple times, For now there are three cases happened on me,Summary: the price is 30% higher than other dealers, Mechanic lack of skills, give the car in unsafe stage, Worst service advisor, Lie to the customer, didnt respect the customer, the service ask 10 stars reviews!!!!1. (Worst service advisor and Mechanic lack of skills and didnt care the customer) I installed deployable side steps, after I get the car, I found the engine covers corner is up, and I ask the service to fix it, they just sent someone force press the up corner side down which make there is one very easy tell Indentation, I spent at least one week talked with them and final I said I dont want the car and get my money back then they give me the manager to deal the case. at that time Alex is my service advisor, and that is the worst service I got for now.2. (Lie to the customer, didnt respect the customer, the price is 30% higher than other dealers) After I got the car back, I checked the side steps, I found there are 6 parts missing which Range Rover website showing must in the box, and there are at least 4 screws didnt put on, now I could directly tell there four parts are loose, and before I found the reason why they are loose, they told me that is normal when you install the side step. When I get back to the parts, Randy, who I think is manager told me will call me back after couple days after checked with manufacturer and sent me the email with pic what in the box, I confirmed the couple days he means two days, but after two weeks there is no call back, then I make the call, First he didnt say why he didnt make the call and didnt say anything about sorry make this happen, he only said can you wait me 5 mins and I need check something else, after less than 2 mins he came back and said that is it all in the box and if there is something missing must be mechanic fault, then said I have other customer hang up the phone. Here is my points, if you could tell the result in 2 mins, why at first point you need two days and talked with manufacturer? So I dont think he make the call and help me confirm the parts in the box, then I go to other dealer they told the missing parts is in the box.3. (Mechanic lack of skills, give the car in unsafe stage) I did the oil change here, when I get the car back and head home, I already on the Highway, Then I found the software update they did didnt finish, I tried use the on Vehicle computer change the driving model, always fail.but After 9 months, they told me this will not go unnoticed. Comment: The worse customer service in 20 years of owning Land Rovers .I have owned 3 LandRovers2 Range Rover and Discovery from Thousand Oak, CA ; Oaklahoma City, OK; Taucoma, WAAnd by far the WORSE customer service.Arrogance, incompetent and just plain LAZY!If you can drive an extra 30 -50 miles do.All they care is about is sales !!!It take 3-6 calls to a an incompetent person how can’t help or can’t schedule the service or pre inspection for an end of lease.The service center ignores calls for emergency keys, It takes 3 calls to schedule repairs.After 6 called to Land Rover customer service, I tried local Livermore dealership which the main number information gave me an 800 - number to schedule the pre-inspection for my end lease, which I did .I cancelled office hour for a Orthopaedic surgeon and cancelled patients and drove and hour to be told they don’t do the pre-inspection.On getting there I was abandoned, the sales people wouldn’t even get out of their chairs to introduce themselves and shake my hand or help .I was just told to leave and call my Land Rover, which I had done to schedule the appointment.They didn’t even ask, if I was interested in another Land Rover.Lazy, incompetent and arrogant beyond any car dealership Ihave ever received including Mercedes, Beverly Hills; BMW, Columbus, OH or any of the 3 previous Land Rover dealerships.Please, Please don’t waste your well earned time and money on this dealership unless you want to waste BOTH ! !!!

Im so glad I didnt check Yelp before going, because it was the best experience Ive ever had at a car dealership, and I wouldnt have ended up with my amazing new car!My husband and I arrived 15 minutes before closing to test drive a car we found online. We had spent the Saturday driving around the bay (SF, Concord, Livermore) trying different cars, brands, and dealers. Wali helped us right away and was generous with his time, even though he probably would have been on his way home had we not shown up. He let us test drive the car right away, and spent about an hour and a half with us completing the purchase, far after closing time. He went above and beyond: we didnt like the wheels that were on the car we liked, so he offered to switch them with another cars (for a small charge); we felt the price of the ceramic coating was too high so he negotiated a lower price with the manager for us. We were very happy with Wali and his managers high level of customer service.We picked up my car today and I am so happy with it! Wali even helped me connect my phone to the bluetooth and filled it up with gas for us down the street because it only had half a tank when he brought it out (his idea, not mine). He also helped me set up an app on my phone where I can keep tabs on my car.This place is solid gold. Go here for your new car and work with Wali. You wont regret it.

Service adviser called me that my both sides brake pads are about 3mm and need to be replaced. I said but there is no warning and Adviser said it will come ON soon. Well, the warning has not come so far and it has been 5 months for rear brake pads. I did ask them to replace front brake pads only for around $1500. I had no way to verify what Service adviser was saying. Also, they replaced the front rotors while other dealer do check to see if rotor needs to be replaced. It seems this dealer just wants to mint money with out caring for customer satisfaction. I would avoid this dealer in future.

They said they are going to deliver it Livermore. When we came back Livermore to talk about what happened to us, the man in service department area was so rude. He said why dont you fix there/ you can towed here. We were told in Washington that LR would be deciding this, not us. He said call to LR customer service. He did not show any concern about helping us. The staff here failed to listen / understand our situation as well.They are only nice when selling their items. Afterwards, they dont care what happens to you.

I was told and given paperwork that the car had 18 miles and when it was delivered it had 141 miles . Now they hired someone to intimidate me on their behalf.They have tried canceling my loan, but by law they cannot do that plus they illegally charged me for DMV fees and financed it and never paid the DMV for the fees, so the DMV sent me a bill for $514. They never gave me the buyers guide and never provided me with the certified preowned inspection report when requested.I purchased my car from them on 7/21/18 and as part of my purchase agreement, Don Ingles, the GM agreed to touch up some areas on my Range Rover. They picked up my car on 7/25 and delivered it back to me on 7/28 and kept it for 4 days and 3 nights. When my car was returned, it had an extra 33 miles on it. The person who worked on my car does not even have a State license to perform auto body work to a Land Rover, let alone any car, took my car joy riding, damaged it by having it keyed, added more door dings, over sprayed my car with cheap paint, didnt install the panel correctly and didnt do the work they were supposed to and caused a bunch of other damage since they are not trained to do auto body work. It looks horrible. I reminded him that we inspected the car and none of the additional damage was there. They sent it to a cheap street vendor do they could make more money from my purchase. Now they are trying to force me to use the GM of Livermore Auto Malls best friend and neighbor of 17 years to fix the damage now, so he can cut corners, but I refuse for them to cheat me again, so my car has been with them since 7/31, while Im driving their loaner car and we still havent resolved this matter as of 9/24/18.I am not even sure how many times they ran my credit or had other lenders run it, all I know is my credit score has been reduced significantly and they only presented me with one offer the one that was in the sales agreement and then a week or so ago I received a letter from Capital One stating they were closing my offer to finance my car which I didnt even know about and it was never presented to me by Don Ingles. Im investigating if there were more offers they didnt present. They did a lot of horrible things to me and I am still trying to get my car fixed, money refunded from all the illegal charges and reimbursements from all of the expenses they have inflicted upon me.They have threatened, bullied and harassed me and will most likely do it to you. Livermore Land Rover has compromised my safety since they wouldnt take care of this issue from the start. They should have never attempted using an unlicensed person to repair my car.On 8/3, I spoke with the new 3rd party auto body vendor H&S Hascienda to find out what they were going to do to my car and they said the owner, Don only told them to complete part of the work, which is a big problem! They are supposed to remove the oxidization from the entire car, but Don only told him yo remove it from the rear door. Im not sure what they are doing to my car, but they have had my car since 7/31 at 9 am and on Friday, 8/3 they wouldnt start working on it until Monday, 8/6.The people and service at Land Rover, Jaguar of Livermore are horrible and incompetent. Do not shop here!!!

Comment: Have never seen someone be treated so poorly. Livermore Land Rover unexpectedly stopped taking American Express which we were unaware of until after getting a vehicle repaired. Our employee let the cashier know she would have to mail the company a check as she had no other form of payment with her. After a long drawn out questioning whether our employee had another form of payment, and the employee continuously stating no, the cashier contacted management and again continued to badger our employee for another form of payment or for our employee to call someone to get a payment on the phone. Our employee again had to firmly repeat she did NOT have any form of payment nor could she get one and would send a check as soon as she arrived to the office. The cashier continued to demand a payment which our employee did not have with her. Our employee did leave without paying, but stated she would put a check in the mail. Once our employee returned to the office, she received another harassing call from the cashier asking when she would be coming to give the payment. Again, our employee stated she would be putting it in the mail that day. She would have gladly dropped it off had she not felt bullied verbally by the cashier insisting on questioning her on another form of payment. The cashier questioned our employee a few times on what we did with customers that did not pay and as our employee tried to answer her yet the cashier hung up on her before she could reply. Within a 1/2 hour the cashier showed up with a police officer at our offices. Our employee walked the envelope out which had already had the stamp ready for the mail and handed it to her. We have used many service shops including dealerships and have never experienced this kind of treatment before.

We had a small dent in the rear of the car and Alex the service manager had their dent repair guy fix it for a very reasonable cost.They treat you like a VIP there. He calls with updates on the car and their waiting area is beautiful.We have two Range Rovers and our experience with Alex and the dealership is second to none.

However, I wasnt informed of this amount until after the service was done. Included in that service is a wash but I got my car back just as dirty as it was when it went in there. Looked like they just quirt it with a hose and called it done. Not what I would expect for $700. I will say that the service manager Alex did his job well and called me back immediately and corrected the problem. Offered me a full detail to compensate. I will probably not take him up on it but its the fact that he did something to make it right that counts.

Comment: We had a problem with the airbag light coming on in our 08 S Type. It was a challenge, required 3 visits to get to the problem. The diagnosis came up with an estimate that was mind blowing ! The car was out of warranty but had low miles. It was our 3rd S Type. I asked Livermore to contact the manufacturer to see if they would cover all or part of the nearly $4K estimated. I was provided with a phone # as well. Our service rep called and explained our long loyalty history and Jaguar were amicable to sharing the cost.The final repair didnt require everything that was first thought so our cost was significantly reduced.Very many thanks to Livermore Jaguar for going to bat for the customer. Although the repair did require a lot of off the road time Livermore provided a loaner and were very professional in their efforts to satisfy the customer. I will certainly be visiting them again.

Comment: Livermore Land Rover Service Department, the best of the bestest!!!Coming from a previous owner of a Porsche, BMW and several Benz. I can confidently say that Ive had my share of experiencing luxury auto dealerships and their service department. As much as I can say Ive driven some nice cars, when it comes to the mechanical part, I have absolute zero knowledge. For this reason I have to be cautious in dealing with service department since its easier for me to get ripped off. Livermore LR service department team are beyond great! Theyve been so helpful, professional and the most importantly they did not recommend unnecessary repairs or services. Theyre very accommodating and you can definitely expect excellent customer service from these guys. If youre in need of a repair or service on your LRs or Jags, seeking the best service that youre entitled to then I recommend going with Livermore LR. If you come across a consultation with the service manager Ben, youre in good hands!
