It’s a okay laundry place. The only main complaints I have are …..1. No places to SIT.2. Dryers are old (I used two dryers and it took my clothes 2hrs to dry).Good things about the laundry place is….1. There is an ATM2. They have laundry supplies you can buy3. They have a online way to pay.
Honestly very RUDE! My first experience with this place was Great! So I decided to come back. Once I arrived i was not greeted in a friendly manner. I was informed of the washing time I had left and to wash my clothes on quick to be able just to dry them a little due to them having a STRICT closing time. I work long hr days so me getting to a laundromat mat is tough. I wanted this to be a facility to come on a weekly bases but I see I will be looking for a new one. Had her approach been better I would be a returning customer.
This is by far one of the best laundry facilities in clawson Michigan .This is a very clean affordable facility.. if I was you I would come to laundry Palace the staff is phenomenal very helpful very friendly you cant ask for nothing better than that. thank you Katie for all that you do you absolutely exemplify customer service at its best always going over and beyond for us customers thank you Katie thank you laundry Palace
Ive been coming to Laundry Palace for close to ten years when my washer or dryer are broken. In the past there was a sitting area. I asked about this yesterday, as it is now filled with what looks like like cleaning orders. The nice lady behind the counter said it was a covid thing but will stay permanent. They have chairs down an Isle and plan to add TVs.It was a nice day, so I sat outside on the bench while I waited for washers to clean my clothes. Walking to Krave for coffee helped kill some time while I waited, too. Id go back, but bummed about lack of seating.Clean and tables for folding are a nice perk.
Ive used Laundry Palace many times for both their self service laundry and wash and fold service. The facility is clean and pleasant, and they have free wifi so you can stream music or other media while you wait for your laundry. They have lots of king-sized washers which are great for laundering large items like comforters or pillows. The staff is always friendly and willing to help.
I do all of my dry cleaning here as they are quick and always do a good job for a fair price. The only complaint I have is one time (just once) they put the pin through my shirt fabric instead of the button hole and it put a small hole in the shirt, but the hole DID go away and it has never happened since. So I consider it a fluke. The staff is always friendly and prompt with service. The place always looks tidy and clean too.
Was recently handicapped , and i use their pick-upFluff n fold service - the items are always processed to the point if looking brand new !!I do know pro work & this service has been a Life Saver for me !Staff is always helpful and very friendly, also - Thank You “Dawn” This is a find - best i have ever used …
Don’t get me wrong the place is great clean and spacious but the prices per cycle are so high!!! A load of darks in the medium washers on cold quick cycle still costs the same as any other cycle. And these are water efficient washers.Less water used, on hot water and less time running but still same price that is outrageous. So again atmosphere is great and clean but be prepared to spend as much money here as you might spend on your phone bill
This is a very clean place, nice units etc. If you just want to do your own laundry then it is great. However I cannot recommend the service they provide. Employees seem a bit clueless or not happy to work there, the clothes are always wrinkled (even wrinkle free garments) the dry cleaning is terrible and I have fuzz all over all of my stuff. After giving four chances, I dont care what the price is - I would rather do it myself and have it done right. Again, great place for self service, I would be wary of having your clothes done for you.
I have been looking for a clean quiet laundromat for a long time and I’m happy I found this place. The lady attendant was very nice and she cleans the machines quite often. The machines were impeccable and the space here is phenomenal. They have a lounge with snacks a tv and games in the corner by the bathroom. They also have WiFi which is a plus. The washer and dryers here are great and they’re quick to use. Speed queens are AMAZING !!!!! They also have an in-house Atm if you’re like me and didn’t bring enough money. They also offer full bottles of detergent for cheap.
I have no complaints here. There are always open machines here, its clean, people are friendly or dont bother you. Any employee Ive spoken to was nice and helpful. Im not understanding the low reviews, its a Laundromat, how many questions can you possibly have? And Ive never used their delivery or washing service Id prefer to do it myself so if theres an error, I dont have egg on my face. Would absolutely recommend!
VERY RUDE! Just called to ask a few questions for someone else. Elena picked up the phone, She didnt want to be bothered with my questions and was very short and sounded annoyed. I will not be recommending this place to anyone. Customer service is very import and the people who come here to do their laundry dont need someone going out of their way to make others life more difficult for NO REASON. Lifes too short to be anything else but KIND!
Weve been using the Laundry Palace every Friday night for the last year, they have been absolutely AWESOME!! Yes we have ran into the occasional rude employee but I am not going to hold that against them. Their punch card has been great for us. I would recommend The Laundry Palace to anyone it was better than the 1 washer at the apartment that was always occupied.
Honestly best place to do your laundry. I’ve been to so many crusty places and this place is always extremely clean, running well, and the staff (despite people saying they are rude) are always lovely. The break area is so clean and stocked, vending machines, microwave, coffee, etc. Not to mention they have customer appreciation sometimes with free pizza and snacks. Anyone in the comments complaining about getting rude treatment while coming into a LAUNDRY place last minute when laundry takes over an hour to finish deserves any rude comment they get. If you don’t understand that people have lives and would like to go home, you’ve never worked in any type of hourly pay job nor do you care about human beings as a whole. These people are wonderful, the place is wonderful, and my clothes are clean. 10/10 will keep coming here and giving them my money.
I went to this laundromat as a recommendation from a neighbor, and I was blown away how clean it was! There are many washers and driers of various sizes. Affordable pricing. Well attended by staff. Safe, friendly crowd. I will go out of my way to return to this laundromat over others.
Very clean! Xlarge wash loads cost $8.75, large 6.75, medium 4.75, small 2.75. Drying is around the same price. They have a change machine and a punch card option. Weekly laundry service for any one 62years old for $59 a month where they pick up and wash laundry weekly. Theres a lounge area with vending machines and a tv and arcade games to pass the time.
Customer service needs to be revisited. I put one too many quarters into the washer $0.25 and I kindly ask for the return and I was told no because it was not their fault. Can I afford the $0.25 yes but Its about doing the right thing and making sure your customers are taken care of. Especially if its something with in your means. I have been coming to the same place since 2011 and very disappointed.
Large facility with multiple attendants on staff at all times.Good sized waiting area, along with a large table in center of waiting area.Lots of folding tables & laundry carts.Machines are well maintained and fixed almost as soon as they break.Free in-house Wi-Fi & an Xfinify Wi-Fi hotspot.6min dryer time per quarter.Loyalty program is horrible, 1 punch per visit & after 12th visit you only get $2.50 back (the cost of their single load washers that is smaller then your average home washer)
Its clean, the prices arent bad, they have free WIFI and there always seems to be quite a few machines open. But Ive learned that if you are there when one particular person is working there, youre gunna have a bad time. Very condescending if you have questions or concerns, acts like you are in the way if youre there within 3 hours to closing, and overall doesnt seem to be happy that people are there.
I love it there. very calm and relaxing. the employees were very nice to me made me laugh and kept me company. nice washers and dryers, a little expensive but does a nice clean, front loaders. btw if you wrote a bad review about your stuff getting ruined or stolen, DO YOUR OWN LAUNDRY! or STAY THERE WITH YOUR STUFF!! {drops the mic}
We are new to the area so this was our 1st and last visit to this place. We got our load in at 915 we used the extra large washer. The girl got an attitude when I asked her for change said We close at 10 I told her I seen that and that we would be done right on time due to time. We planned to break our clothes up into vert small loads to dry. Rge washer took 6 minutes longer then it said so that would of put us at 10:06 for clothes to be dry. At 9:58 she scolded my husband yelling from the other side of the building that we need to be there by 8pm if we want to complete our laundry. She told us to empty our dryers now because she was ready to leave (we had 1 to 4 min left on 8 dryers we paid for but she didnt care said take our stuff out. Mind you we werent the only ones waiting and she had a friend in there doing her laundry hanging out with her. Some all our clothes would of been dry in 5 minutes. Ive never in my life been treated like this. I have kids older then her. So even though I put my money in I couldnt finish using what I paid for. Now I have to drive to a 24 hour one to finish drying my stuff. That girl didnt need to be rude and I didnt see her yelling at her friend to empty her dryers. We even had to leave the carts ourside because she locked the doors as soon as we walked out. So we left them outside. To bad ill never get my money back. 2.00 dollars isnt alot of money but it is the point of how that nasty little girl treats people. If I could id give zero stars..
My washer broke down and the cat got sick on my comforter so for the 1st time in decades I needed a laundry mat. I was a bit worried but when I walked in It looked extremely clean and then Katie the attendant was extremely pleasant and helpful. If needed I will go back and would recommend anyone in need to use this facility. Thank you Katie for your assistance.
VERY RUDE STAFF! My dryer died on me at about 830pm. I had a wet load of towels that I didnt want to smell like mildew so I did a Google search and found this place was open until 10pm with last load at 915pm. I got there just in time to get my wet towels and a pair of scrubs for work into the machines at exactly 915. The lady working walked by and rudely said, great, now she just put a load of clothes in. I pointed out the door and website both say last load at 915 and she kept walking by me. I went to go sit in the tv area and she purposely turned off the tv (by this time it was about 925pm). A little while later as people were leaving a gentleman said goodnight to her and she called him a jackass under her breath. She was walking around the place huffing and puffing almost as if to intimidate customers into leaving. VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF, SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE. Yelp reviews also mention rude staff and management so this doesnt seem to be a fluke. Beware of this place.
Absolutely ridiculous. I have the delivery service and unfortunately it didnt work out I have received other peoples underwear. They cant seem to get payment done correctly I was giving cash but apparently that was too much for them then I had to switch over to a card because they cant add or subtract so when I did that they ended up charging my card several different times I have a prepaid card because of incompetent people just like them I do not want to be charged double and yet it still happened they owe me $79.84 I have paid them twice now for the last load of laundry where they actually lost half of my laundry and claims that they delivered it back so now Ive been charged twice I received other peoples laundry they cant get a schedule down correctly and Im literally arguing with the guy right now Im trying to get my money back and the other half of my laundry that they cant seem to find this is absolutely horrifying I definitely dont recommend it run for the f****** Hills do not use them
Horrible, Absolutely horrible. Place is usually a furnace theres no A/C so its always hot in there, Secondly Their machine did not give proper change for a $20 so Im out 10 bucks that they say one of their costomers stole. Its filthy there is lint everywhere. The washing machines are on the sucky side. My husband dropped his clothes off to be washed there and he ended up getting a rash from the cheap laundry soap they use. Clothes smelled horrid after we got them back. Do not waste your time or money here. The owner manager is a total miser and has a poor attitude, told me not to come back there ha ha ha, Like I would ever be caught in their poor filthy establishment again. Do not recommend.
Our practicality new Samsung washing machine has been recalled so off to ugh the laundry Palace I go. This place is well taken cared of which for doing your own clothing is a important part factor for me. Its not overly priced per machine either. The staff are very helpful even asking if they could assist me with folding a few of my king sized linens and duvet covers. They also offer pick up and delivery for laundry and awhile ago after suffering from the loss of our daughters Victoria there was no way that I was anywhere near being capable of of getting out of the fetal position let alone a mundane chore like laundry. I dropped them off and picked them up the same day. They did as I requested regarding the hanging up of 85% of our clothes. Spots were removed and the whites were actually white not a grayish white unlike the place on 13 Mile just pass Beaumonts hospital. For $59.00 per month for the older and wiser ppl can have their soiled laundry picked up 👆 cleaner all delivered credulity cleared for an amazingly low price per month.
The owner and employees do not care about customers, I dropped clothes off and 4 or 5 pairs of my sons jeans did not come back, 3 sweat shirts did not comeback as well. That is what I noticed, who knows what I havent realized is gone yet. Contacted manager and owner, both really did not care at all. They say the procedures do not allow them to lose clothes. Quote on quote i do not come from the same school where they say the customer is always right. In my opinion if somebody took them, the owner would not believe the customer. Very disappointed, I gave them the benifit of the doubt until I went through all my laundry from both times they washed and realized all the clothes missing. This is just poorly ran
Laundry Palace, really lives up to its name 100% as few things do, plenty of parking building is large well lit and clean all new Speed Queen washer/dryers with a nice lounge to relax in wifi vending machines everything you could possibly need is avalable at the front desk for reasonable prices and the people that work there are great very helpfull with any questions all in all a Great place to do laundry and just be.
It is clean, it is big. It is also THE most expensive laundromat around. they replaced most of the top loaders with front loaders for $2.50/load and raised the remaining top loaders to $2.25. When asked about the front loaders the response was they can do heavier loads. maybe they can do more by weight, but they have about 2/3 or less of the volume of the top loaders, and about the only way you can reach the weight capacity of the top loaders is if you load nothing but very heavy-duty denim or canvas. The real reason? smaller load size = needing to use more machines. front loaders also use less water and electricity, yet they charge more for them. Driers are also more expensive - fewer minutes per quarter than most places.
I put 4 quarters into a machine, realized a needed a different machine, hit the button to eject the change I put in but nothing happened. Laundry Palace wouldnt do anything about it. He rudely said sorry for your mistake as I walked out. At first, I didnt understand what that statement meant since since the coin release button not working is their mistake. Later I realized he must have meant it was my mistake to come there in the first place.I did all of my dry cleaning there before this, so theyll lose a bit of money from me going elsewhere now.
Got my shirt back with more stains then when I brought it in. They tried to fix the problem but after repeated attempts and further staining by them, I was told to leave the store and that they didnt want my business. $50 down the drain. I would never trust these guys again.
I dont know if I want to come I came in there on a Friday night at about 830 and at about 5 minutes to 10 I was so close to folding the last of my laundry and the person that works there walks up to my husband and I and said you guys have 5 minutes and you need to leave she said that to another couple we are all trying to hurry up and get done this is the second time this has happened to me in 3 years I stopped going in there for about 2 years I decided to give it another chance but still same thing bad attitude I tried calling 2 or 3 times to speak to the owner today he was not there Im very disappointed because I did not realize I was at a bar for last call I thought I was at a laundry mat its just the way things get done there I think I was right to not return

2021-03-09My washing machine decided to stop working and getting a new one delivered will take a few weeks. I have only been to a laundromat probably twice in my life, and that was probably over 25 years ago.So my search began to find a place to wash my clothes. I looked online at several different ones, and this seemed like the best place to come.I wasnt sure how it worked when I walked in. I asked the lady at the counter, super nice and helpful.I was impressed by how clean the place was, not sure what I was expecting. I also liked that you can download an app and link it to your card. I wish I knew that before I went to the ATM and pulled out cash.I loved that I was in and out in under an hour. This place is great.

2022-05-17First time laundromat visit. Moved to senior housing. They have machines but the one on our floor is broken and weve heard it could be September before getting a replacement. We decided to try the Laundry Palace. We (my wife and I) didnt know anything about laundromats but KATIE was Extremely helpful and pleasant. She took the time to answer all our questions and give us tips on the machines and how to use them even though she was quite busy. Even pointed out the differences in how the machines there differed from those at the apartment and home machines. It made our first time so much easier and better!! Thank you Katie!!!

2022-04-18This place is literally incredible. From customer service and friendliness to prices to the quality handling and care. I drop off my quilts frequently here to be washed and don’t plan on stopping anytime soon.

2022-06-14The concept of dropping clothes off in a dirty bag then picking them up later in a clean bag, all folded up with socks matching and even the underwear looking neat, sounded like something rich people do, what you do when visiting the parents, or pay an arm and a leg for...But at Laundry Palace? Yes, yes it’s real. And boy is it neat!I am pretty new to the whole long term travel thing, so after letting my dirty clothes pile up at my room at the Somerset Inn for a few weeks with more to go, I was due for a laundry run. The hotel front desk recommended Lawson Laundry Palace despite having closer options. The closer options either were expensive, or did not offer the service at that location, and some were rather “cold” on the phone about it too.Dawn at Laundry Palace answered the phone with excitement and eager for me to come in - a breathe of fresh air compared to their competitors! Afterwards, it was as simple as dropping off my laundry bag and being told to call early to see if it’s ready, or wait until the scheduled pickup time. Maybe they weren’t that busy, yet Dawn helped expedite my load of laundry so I could pick it up the next day. These silly socks, underwear, shirts and pants received royalty treatment and made my mother’s folding skills looking an amateur (for me, always an amateur). If you’re someone with little to no time for laundry, want to spend your time not doing laundry, etc., or are an out-of-towner needing your clothes cleaned, I highly recommend Laundry Palace and their drop off service. It’s affordable by the pound of clothes, your clothes come out smelling and looking clean, and you can carry on about your day(s) while picking it up on the way to or from dinner (or anytime during their long business hours). The staff is super friendly, especially Dawn! Bring in silly socks for them for me if you can!!

2022-03-02I love this laundromat. Im writing this review to say their app PayRange will sell your information to spam callers and you will be harassed by telemarketers non stop. Do not enter the marketplace to get tokens. It isnt worth it! This laundromat has no affiliation with PayRange other than using it for their machines.

2021-12-11Update: 24May21prices was raised between 12% - 15% on all washer machines / masks are still required for everyone despite new state guidelines & CDC recommendationsUpdated 11Dec21The place used to have a nice customer lounge area with a large table to get work done while you wait for your laundry. That area was converted to an employee folding / laundry storage area for their bulk commercial service they run. While it’s nice that employees are no longer taking up folding tables in the main area, I miss the lounge & the ease of getting work done while waiting on laundry.

2022-01-17Love this laundry mat, friendly professional staff, clean machines and building. Easy to use app and cheap fee. Highly recommend payrange app to pay so much better then chucking quarters in. Lol

2022-06-10The Laundry Palace 👑 is the best laundromat around! It is run very well and is nice and clean. 🧹 The longtime staff is very nice. Drop off services available.🧺👋Customers: Please dont dilly dally and leave your clothes in the washer or dryer because thats just disrespectful.🙋♀️ Staff: Please leave some of the driers (small and large) for customers, too! Not cool to be using 5-6+ driers when the place is hopping. A few more baskets would be great, too!The music thats piped in is wonderful.🎶🎸 Not Muzak--itll put you in a good mood. The owner has good taste in tunes and truly rules!

2019-05-12Great place to do large loads of laundry. Washers and Dryers are various sizes from small to large to meet every family or single person needs. They have a snack area to read, work on your laptop or watch TV. Very clean and organized laundry place!
