We stayed at Laurel Valley for 2 year couple of time (total 4 years) and our experience staying there has been great. All the leasing staff is great, but I would like to specially thank Linda who helped us numerous times right from beginning helping complete formalities for signing the lease or moving to a bigger apartment within LV. We also appreciate service & dedication of Stacey and LaToya.Their maintenance staff is quick and efficient in getting the problem solved. They deserve a clap!We just loved staying at Laurel Valley and would not have left if we had not have to leave Michigan.
Have lived here for 4 years and had to force myself to leave this community. Multiple complaints have been filed regarding the neighbors disturbances and no action was ever taken as it kept on repeating. We were never able to sleep at nights due to loud noises created by the upstairs people. I have requested at least 5 or 6 times regarding this and finally I had to make a choice to leave, just for my family well being. Does not matter how clean you keep your apartment, there always spiders and all kind of insects and worms enter the apartment. Water leak issues always and only Interim fix, In winter there was poor cleaning of Ice and my wife fell down and hurt her arm too. After all this trauma and when I got my deposit back there was just $151 back out of the $500 when asked why. There was a small sheet peel on the Kitchen counter top due to the poor quality, it was a 2 inch to 3 Inch and happened right in the beginning. When i dispute the charges, they are giving me an attorney threat if i dont accept the charges. What a shame after living there for 4 years. Never recommend this place to anyone.Based on the below response from the Owner, I have contacted the office and have already shared all my concerns and have received no response at all. If Laurel Valley had addressed my concerns appropriately I would have not been typing my comments here. If you think you can address my concern, please do.
New tenant in a 1 bedroom upper level apartment and I can say that in my first 4 months here that I have had zero issues.Move in was simple and effective, front office staff was polite and helpful, the terms and conditions are very clearly laid out. The grounds seem to be well maintained and looked after on a daily basis. My court/neighbors are quiet and respectful. Overall you really cant ask for too much more for what youre paying for. Also as an example of the good service:Long story short, I locked myself out of my apartment on a Saturday night. I contacted the phone line, they got me in touch with a gentleman whose name escapes me at the moment. But he told me he was on his way from his own him and he did his best to get there at 1030-11pm at night on a Saturday to let me in to my apartment. He even made me a new key to replace my lost ones. Very kind, very professional, and very appreciated.
My fiancé and I have lived here for almost 2 years. We were able to find a house and that is the only reason we broke our lease, the process has been easy and the staff has been helpful.I loved that living here I didn’t feel like just another tenant Laurel Valley (dart properties) do so many community events and giveaways and even with COVID they still made them possible. With COVID Laurel Valley sent us a lot of emails to keep us up to date with what they were doing and I appreciated that.We lived on a lower unit and barely heard noice from our upstairs neighbors which was nice because previous apartments I could hear every step. We did have one noise complaint with a neighbor and it was handled fast.Overall would recommend to anyone who was looking.
I signed the lease for 6 months. They charged me extra 6 days after the end of the lease for nothing , knowing that I didnt ask to renew the lease. I SIGNED for 6 months! They forced me to pay for 6 days. I didnt need it because i purchased a new house.Very bad management and im so disappointed.I dont recommend anyone to live in this complex. This is my advise to everyone!
We lived here for 6 years. Easily one of the best apartment complexes in Metro Detroit. It has it all - Private Entry, great floor plans, newer appliances, Reserved & covered car port, two swimming pools, tennis courts, access to all amenities/grocery stores within a mile radius. The leasing office crew, the maintenance crew & their responsiveness is just top notch. Great rental property overall.
I stayed here 2 years (2017 and 2018) in a Lower level 2bed-1bath apartment and had a good experience with Laurel Valley Apartments. The facility is well maintained, in winter the snow were plowed at night so the roads were ready for next morning, even during snowstorms they were plowing 3-5 times a day. The maintenance team was very responsive, I just had to submit 3 reports in those 2 years, since I gave them permission to enter in my apartment they were there the next morning fixing whatever was needed. No major issues, one was the washer malfunctioning, then a closet door that I couldn’t put back on its place and the microwave malfunctioning (I think it was just an old microwave). But all three were fixed the next day, so I had no problem with that. When I moved out, since I wanted to get back 100% of my security deposit, I left the apartment nice and clean, so the next month I got the refund in full! Just had to pay 1,000 for breaking the lease before the end of my contract.I loved having the washer and dryer in the unit, it was hard to find an apartment with that. And the only thing I did’t like was the noise of my upstairs neighbors, but nothing crazy though.
The staff of Laurel Valley are absolute gems... LaToya, Becky, Linda, Sam are the absolute best! They are very helpful and will make sure your experience at Laurel Valley is a very positive one. The community is absolutely beautiful and has plenty of great amenities. They truly care about the residents and their satisfaction. If you are looking for a new apartment home, you wont be disappointed in this community!
I have so many positive things to say about this place that its hard to know where to start. First and foremost, THANK YOU LINDA!!! Linda has been a godsend with figuring out the best apartment for me as well as being clear and transparent about any policies/due dates in the application process. She has kept me up-to-date on the status of my application as well as helped me navigate a pending move-in during the COVID-19 outbreak. She has been so sweet and reassuring, I honestly wouldnt want to live anywhere else knowing that Linda will be at Laurel Valley to help me navigate living on my own for the first time. I already love the staff and the apartments she showed me were all so lovely. Im excited to be living in such a sweet, loving community and cannot recommend Laurel Valley enough!!!Edit: I have officially been here a month and I am LOVING IT!! The staff are all super friendly, the pool is amazing, the apartment is clean and spacious, I couldnt ask for more! Even as a fresh college graduate I cannot recommend this place enough!!
Ive been living here for almost a year. My apartment was renovated just prior to moving in... new carpet, new fridge, new stove, new counter tops, new cabinets, new microwave, new sink, new toilet, new tub, new washer/dryer. They did a very nice job. The central air was not part of the renovation but when it failed during the extreme heat this past summer it was replaced the next day without any hassle. A few months later they also replaced the furnace (even though it appeared to be working fine) as part of their plan to keep to everything updated. The office staff always are pleasant and helpful. The maintenance staff are great. There has been much snow this winter and there was only one day that the streets were not plowed and this was likely due to the snow emergency that was in effect. The typical performance was that the streets were plowed before I had to leave for work in the morning and they also had the sidewalks cleared and salted. The fitness center is well equipped with the same machines as LifeTime Fitness and I have rarely had to wait since not many people seem to use the facility (however, I typically go late in the evening so maybe thats why I dont encounter many other people). I did not use either of the pools but I saw many other people enjoying them during the hot/sunny days this past summer.Currently Im in a Cambridge (830 sq-ft upper with cathedral ceiling, gas fireplace and balcony). Its a very nice apartment but somewhat small for me since I am accustomed to living in a larger house. I love it here and will be signing another year lease, most likely in a slightly larger unit. However, even if I had to stay in the current apartment I would still be happy.Notes:- They have Open House Specials every month so be sure to check with the office on what the current offer is and what units that are available.
I along with my family are living in these apartments for past 2 years and we have enjoyed it. now i am renewing it for 3 year. I call it home away from home.Staff is awesome, Davida, Monica, Linda and Manager Stacy all are so helpful.Maintenance is just a call away even in Night time, i still remember our 2nd floor neighbor had emergency and maintenance worked till midnight to get things done, landscaping is awesome, separate car parking is great. No hassle in winter, they remove snow early at 5 am and keep drive ways saltedSummers every week the grass is taken out and area is cleaned.I dont know why there are -ive comments about laurel valley.Keep Doing good job team-
Was moving from Miami to Michigan and was looking for a nice place to live close to work. After researching 40+ different apartments within a month, Dart Properties made it to my list of top 5. So I visited; Davida gave a tour and was incredibly helpful with answering my questions, the complex is large and looks nice! The bad reviews kinda weirded me out even though my gut said this was the place, but I went to visit other apartments in the area for the sake of it. After seeing a laundry basement that looked like a torture chamber... I went running back to Laurel Valley and applied. The grounds are well maintained, theres two pools, assigned carports, fitness center, restricted access at night, roaming security car at night, excellent maintenance response, washer and dryer in unit, dishwasher, microwave, oven, etc etc. Its two blocks from a Target, Starbucks, Supercuts, Lowes, and several other places. Cities like Troy, Birmingham, and Royal Oak are within a 15 minute drive. Office staff has been great, prompt, polite, and helpful. Davida has been my main connection, though Monique is also excellent too. Havent met the others.Be aware of the intense amount of paperwork during lease signing, at least they were able to sit with me to explain everything so Im not sitting for 2 hours or being confused by jargon. This can be intimidating, but Id rather live here in a safe, quiet, restricted area where the rules are clear instead of just up in the air with everyone doing whatever they wanted. But really, what made it was the professionalism of their employees and the quality of their apartments! The price is great for what they offer, so dont take it for granted. A place like this would absolutely cost over $1,150 to almost $1,500 a month where I came from.
This place sucks. I went in to tour the apartments and Linda toured me and she was super nice. I then emailed her 2 times the next week on questions and wanting to move forward with signing off on one... So then I tried to contact Monica, and NO ONE go back to me! Thats okay, I will go elsewhere. Good luck to any one looking into these apartments. Theyre nice, but you could go somewhere else with better service. Bad service like this will make your living arrangements HELL.RESPONSE TO OWNER:I am sorry, not Monica. Her name is Karen Morton that I had tried to reach out to as well. We have not moved out to anywhere else yet, and we loved the 2 bed/2 bath and may be interested in working with management versus your staff.
Really bad and rude leasing staff and not really helpful in any way. They just talk all nice until you put in your deposit and later on its real torture. Takes forever to get your application processed. Each member of leasing staff have their own set of rules and really confuse you. Better stay off living at these apartments
I have been a faithful on-time paying resident at Laurel Valley and have resided in two different units over the past 2 1/2 years. I have had my car broken into at both units that I stayed in at this complex as well as packages stolen from my doorstep (Each incident was reported to management and nothing was done!). Now I am being forced to moved out of my apartment because of not abiding by the 15mph speed limit in the complex. (Petty right) The management staff for this property are deceitful and impersonal. Save your time and your money; its not worth the hassle. My husband, 3 year old and I are now homeless until further notice because of a resident who made false allegations of us not abiding by the speed limit. Not to mention the 15mph speed limit is clearly something that about 75% of residents dont adhere to and I am a witness of this every day! I have various video footage of residents who CLEARLY drive over the 15mph speed limit and DONT stop at the various stop signs in the complex. Talk about a slap in the face. I honestly think that we are being discriminated against and harassed because we refused to sign another lease and rather pay month to month. (Might I add which we are only doing because we are shopping to purchase our first home). Its sad that now a humble family of three who just want to pay their rent and come to an apartment that they temporarily call home cant even do that peacefully...
I reside in this apartment from July 2014 to March 2015. Its a great place to live in. Very good maintenance of the community roads. Apartment services are addressed very well. Billing system is very transparent and there are no hidden charges. We love this place but unfortunately we have to move because of our job change. We Appreciate Dart properties
Some of the worst office staff I have ever met and one of the most unprofessional complexes i have ever done business with there whole goal is to tack on fees, they shut down there original website to pay rent on and did not inform anyone, the fired most of the original staff that they had when we signed out lease so now we can barley even get in contact with everyone, they almost never answer the phones and tack on fees when they are late to process their own checks or when the credit card processor online didnt do it in their timeframe would not recommend staying here
Apartment itself looked clean and nice. I have been a faithful on-time paying resident at Laurel Valley too. So far I was okay except the noise through the wall, but their poor behavior and inhuman act changed my mind.Season of joy and thanksgiving. Dart property wont share joy nor thanksgiving. I mailed out the check(rent) in the given envelope with the slip which was given by the Dart property. I put it into the outgoing mailbox in the Laurel Valley Apartments with other payment. Despite the delay because of all the gifts and cyber monday, the other payment made on time but rent didnt go out. So I asked dart property if they received my mail and they said no.Because they didnt receive it in time, I have to pay $50 late fee and also the discount I got at the open house. I understand the policy but they didnt even try to understand the fact that I did mailed it out. She was smiling like I dont give a damn but you owe me 880 so pay me right away with the money order.I waited for open house and got the deal so I normally pay 705/month. Telling somebody to pay 175 more this month right now all of a sudden can be a burden, but they dont care. As much as I cannot prove that I did mailed out my check, they cannnot prove that they didnt receive the mail either. How come the payment which was mailed to TX was delivered safely and 48310 to 48311 did not?? It couldve been post offices fault, but isnt 705 going to 830 enough? have to charge me another $50 for late fee???? Couple days passed and I received a letter. They are telling me to either pay or get the hell out of their property. Told me to go get the lawyer if I want and if I can afford one. Racist toward minority or what? I read another tenants review. Her family was about to get kicked out as well because of the speed limit. Even government dont kick people out of anywhere because of one speeding ticket. Even murders have their rights to live on. We are getting bad treat here.Now. I feel like dart property is lying. They did receive the check but want to get more money so they are lying saying that they didnt get my check (they know that I cannot prove that they are lying.) However, another tenant I know told me he received the same letter telling him to get out of the apartment. My coworker once told me, Maybe they want to kick you guys out so they can rent it out to other people for higher price since you guys are getting 125 discount and paying 705. Isnt that right. That sounds very reasonable. Now the rent even increased to 870. Im pretty sure the owner will be dying to see lower rent tenants to move out as soon as possible so he can rent out the room to other people for higher rent. Nobody knows what is the truth, but do the auto payment or pay your rent in person. Whenever you mail out your rent, put the tracking number even though it sounds dumb you are actually being smart. If you want to get a treat as a tenant, pay fully. Dont go to open house and get insulted like this.I want to fight back for my right, but minority never wins. I hope I knew more people who got the same letter.. I bet they are paying less than the full price.
** Update below to owner response (EDIT1): Read the reviews before you rent. They will run a scam on you after you leave. We lived there 5 yrs and they wanna charge us for a cheap carpet they put in 3 yrs ago bcz they couldnt remove some stain that their staff probably caused after we moved as Ive never seen it b4. Not sure if it is my apartment even from the pictures. We take our shoes off before entering and the carpet is always clean. Plus from the pictures what ever stain they are talking about I could have cleaned with water only and they are claiming that the cleaning company could never get it out. Get real please, people are not stupid. I know every inch in my apartment and I have never seen that big of a stain first of all, second of all, how do you charge someone for few spots (as they claim) the price of the whole carpet with the worst quality cheapest kind (which they use) that doesnt cost more than $600 for the entire apartment with labor and padding. They want prorated charge of almost $600 from me for a 3 yr old carpet. How is that prorated then?!The manager is very rude also she always has a nasty attitude. Couple of my friends that live there said the same thing about her. I have been referring people to them all the time Ill make sure I never do that again rather I would warn people about their scams. Ill make sure my employer who is a big customer of theirs will hear about this and will take some steps and maybe avoid dealing with them.On top of that, they scammed me for a month rent at the end as they said they needed 30 days notice. Once I called on the 11th they said you can only move on the 1st which they never said before or have it in writing. I could have had hired a lawyer but I said to myself it is OK but sure thing it wasnt OK. I can still sue them for that if I want to.** EDIT1, In reply to owner response:You also failed to review my file. You said I didnt give you 30 days notice, I actually gave you 6 weeks notice. I called and put my request to move out on the 11th of August and moved out on the 30th of September. Also, how could I move out if I didnt fill part of our agreement and stay 30 days after the notice, did you ask yourself that before claiming such a lie. I actually wanted to move out on the 11th of September but I couldnt as I was told the notice has to be done between the 1st & 5th. This is another example of your dishonesty when speaking to the public and try to act you are the victim. Please look at the reviews, many people gave you guys a one star rating, if it is one or 2 people will say you are right, but there are tons of people saying the same thing about you guys. I also do agree with many posts about your staff being very rude at the main office mainly, usually the leasing office are a bet nicer. Your manager turned here face away and didnt want to hear my side of the story about the alleged damages that I didnt do.Lastly, I can refer you guys to some good carpet guys who can change the carpet for less than $500 for the whole apartment for the cheap carpet you guys use.
DONT STAY.. They are dishonest people.. the employees here dont know what they are doing. I was told that if I give month end Evacuation notice and move out early then I would be refunded the remaining rent money. But that didn’t happen... After I mived out, the manager said that my whole money is gone. I was told by 2 of their employees that I would be refunded money back for remaining days. Just look for other apartments if you want to save money and not deal with confused and fraud people.
Dont trust these people. They will act all nice when you go in but later on they wont help you at all. Also their leasing consultants(especially LInda Dawood) are never helpful once you sign the lease. They bring up all new rules when you point something. Also, never hope for your deposit to be returned.
Bedbugs everywhere!!!! They took this situation so lightly & took no immediate action to get bed bugs out of my apartment. I had to threaten legal action to get them to pay for a hotel until pest control could heat treat! Then they acted as if they were doing me some sort of favor! Steer clear! This place is infested & will tell you to deal with it & pay for it., prices look good but youll pay more in the long run. Dont live here.
I went in yesterday to get an tour and Shaye was an awesome help. Shaye had an answer for all questions plus some.! Shaye was very very helpful. She was very genuine and she definitely made me feel at home. I loved the layout especially the 2nd floor layout with the cathedral ceilings heartwarming.! I love that Laurel Valley interacts with the community and keeps everyone involved. Now I’m just hoping to hear great news.!
I’ve lived here for a few years now and I can say I have never had an issue. When there was a maintenance issue, I get a response right away and the maintenance staff is awesome. When I have questions or concerns about anything, the staff is always friendly and willing to answer anything. I love it here!
We unhappy customers are gonna come together and file a law suit.place is shady dont trust these peoples they lie and invested with carpet bugs...Horrible customer service..They tell you one thing and then tell another thing. ann and staff are not good representatives..
The homes of Laurel Valley Apt are located in a strategic position close to all major points of interest in the area. Swimming pool, tennis courts, equipped gym and space to wash your car make this residential complex the ideal place to stay. The apartments are modern and well maintained, equipped with heating and air conditioning as well as a private washing machine and dryer. The gas fireplace then is a nice detail to enjoy especially during the cold and long Michigan winters. The staff at the Leasing Center are friendly and always available as well as the maintenance service included in the monthly rental available 24h-24h.Each house also has its own carport and private parking while the cleaning of the streets, the removal of the ships and the spilling of salt to avoid the ice as well as the care of the lawn and plants is entrusted to experts who during all days of the week they work to make this place welcoming and well cared for.

2022-06-01I very rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to write one for Laurel Valley because of how poor my experience was.First, it is nearly impossible to reach someone in the front office. I called every day for two weeks and they only pick up on Thursdays it seems. When I got ahold of someone, they told me information (e.g. reduced application fees for preferred employers) that ended up not being true when I applied.Second, our application was rejected because the person processing it did not read carefully and faulted me and my co-applicants for it. It literally came down to reading a SINGLE number incorrectly when we reported our income. When we called to clear the issue up, they told us we would have to reapply, even though they had all of our information and none of it had changed since we initially applied (this all occurred within 24 hours). We paid nearly $300 to have our application handled carelessly and they wanted us to spend another $300 to have our application be processed again with the SAME information as our first app.In my 6 years of experience in applying to apartments, Laurel Valley is the only property that I have had an issue with. They do not share accurate information and they do not have your best interest in mind-- they appear to simply want your money. There should be no reason to ask applicants to re-apply when the error was not made by the applicant(s). Please do not apply here; there are so many objectively better properties in the area with actually decent management.

2021-12-01I am a new resident of Laurel Valley Apartments. I checked rental cafe to pay my rent early, and my screen showed I had a credit that has not been applied. I contacted the leasing office, and was told everything was up to date on their end, and then told by a manager (Jeffrey) that my November rent has never been paid, and that they would have to manually put it in. Small error on their end but no big deal. November is paid. Fast forward to today (December 1st) I log onto rental cafe again to pay my rent for December and it’s displaying that I don’t owe anything again. I proceeded to go to the leasing office to speak with a manager (not specifying who), being that the employee I spoke with a few days prior gave me the wrong information. Upon entering the leasing office, I am greeted by the same employee I spoke with on the phone. I asked her could I speak with a manager. The employee then tells the property manager (Latoya D)that I would like to speak with her. She rudely proceeds to say as I could hear her “Uh, I’m busy. She’s gonna have to come back or make an appointment because I’m doing something and I’m not stopping right now because I just started”. As a leasing company, your tenants should be able to gain clarity on anything especially RENT. If an employee cannot help me, the next line of contact is the property manager. That was so rude, and unprofessional. Our conversation for clarity would’ve taken all of maybe 5 minutes that Latoya did not want to give me. All I wanted was clarity to insure my rent is being paid and deducted correctly after Rental Cafe showed me a $0 balance twice. If this is how they conduct business, I would not recommend anyone moving here.

2022-02-04Recently applied for apartment which was available ( how I was said ) paid $300 deposit. And after already couple months I didn’t get apartment and of course my deposit was stolen. I believe that’s how they make money! I called them thousands time and all I can heard is that they work under new management and it takes longer than usual to register me.So absolutely not recommend !!! don’t waste your time and money. Horrible personnel, which absolutely unprofessional. Or scammers...

2021-12-26I’ve been here almost 2 years and have no complaints. Its a great area and the apartments are beautiful. I love that maintenance never takes long. It’s either same day or next day. Also i can actually talk to someone when needed.

2022-05-01I left the apartment almost a year ago, and still haven’t received my security deposit! I have called multiple times and writing emails almost everyday for the last three weeks. But I haven’t received a single reply. It’s very inconvenient and unprofessional to hoard someone’s security deposit which we pay via our hard-earned wages.

2021-07-28My husband and I stayed in one of their fully furnished short term rental units and we enjoyed our time there. Of course, no apartment living is perfect but the maintenance staff always tended to our issues quickly and always did a thorough job. As far as the office staff, we only interacted with Philip who is always quick to respond and is happy to make accommodations for you. Rent is fair, not to mention it’s hard to find a nice, short term rental in the area. Nice landscaping. They are pretty good with maintaining the gigantic lawn and flowers throughout the community. The only thing that would’ve made our living experience perfect would be less noise from the neighbors, especially with people partying or playing music upstairs, but I take that as part of apt living.

2020-12-30I have lived in Laurel Valley over 7 years. It’s a great apartment complex for living. I love having washer & dryer in the unit. Especially I’m so happy to have the private entry. Every year as I renewed the lease I got a free shampoo the carpet. I just had a few minor issues with my unit in some first years. But after 7 years I had some major issues. Whenever we called to report them, the maintenance responded and fixed them very quickly. I really appreciate maintenance staff, especially PETER (I hope I write his name correctly).Last year they replaced for me a brand new refrigerator.I just got a brand new microwave after the old one was broken 2 weeks ago.I’m so happy to be your long term customer.

2017-11-17I currently stay here at Laurel Valley and I hate every time I pull into the entrance of this apartment complex. I have stayed here for over 2 years now. Recently my unit has had an issue with bed bugs. It’s 4 apartments per unit and 3 if of us was treated with bedbugs but at different times BUT within 6 months all of us was treated a couple of months apart. Two weeks later we were hit with a $1000 bill. We spoke with our neighbors who RECENTLY has been treated for bed begs and they were not not charged. It was so bad both of my neighbors moved OUT. Went to the leasing office and was told due to our recent bedbug inspection my apartment was the only one who had needed treatment at the time, the others apartments in my unit was fine. Well of course because THEY WERE RECENTLY TREATED WITHIN 4 MONTHS. Office manager was very rude and for me to work in customer service for 15 years I would advise them to train her because her attitude is very unacceptable and ADDED onto the reason we have to get out of here. We paid the $1000 but who in their right mind would continue to stay in a UNIT which has bed bugs issues and was even told by the exterminator our area always seem to be treated for bed bugs! Now that we experienced it I do recall his truck coming in the parking lot a lot in the past pulling out heaters from the back but I never knew the reason. My husband goes into the leasing office today and give a 30 day notice of us leaving this PLACE. Now we renewed our lease in June or July 2017...was told we can give a 30 day notice without being charged a termination fee. Not only could they not find the RECENT contact we signed in 2017..they hit us with the papers we signed in 2015 stating we have to end our lease at the end of next month on the last day. I spoke with two representatives in that leasing office one whom is the OFFICE MANAGER and was never told this! Now the representatives tell you one thing but when something needs to be done they refer quickly to all the addendum‘s that goes against was was discussed. So we cannot give them a 30 day notice, we have to pay for the next months rent so it’s more of a 45 day notice. MY HUSBAND AND I CANNOT SLEEP NOR EVEN LIVE ON A DAY TO DAY BASES DUE TO THE CONCERNS OF OUR LIVING HERE! Ever since this bedbug issue we are walking around spraying DAILY so the bugs don’t travel from the other apartments into ours and we are very CAUTIOUS and paranoid. We do not feel safe here what so ever. I cannot sleep ever since this has happened. Now they will not allow us to leave and will not accept our lease termination letter unless we change the date of evaluation to 45 days instead of 30 days. Even though I know NOW this building suffered bed begs infestations, even after I was charged $1000 for the treatment that I paid for because I will not allow this company to screw up the credit I built so hard to established for past 5 years. Even after the total disrespect I experienced by the leasing office manager as a consumer, this COMPANY is a nightmare. Until this issue happened I enjoyed my stay here. However, I would never recommend this place, before you sign the LEASING papers have a lawyer with you if need be, always ask for receipts or anything pertaining work in your apartment and ASK FOR RECENT RECORDS OF BED BUG INFESTATION BEFORE YOU MOVE INTO YOUR APARTMENT! Even though we were told there were not allowed to provide us that information unless we have a lawyer...JUST MAKE SURE YOU DO. I paid for a service and I am not allowed to have copies of the report the inspector wrote before or after the treatment! So now I have to pay rent for two apartments in the month of December just to make sure this company doesn’t screw me from getting a house in the future. I hate hate hate hate hate hate living here! Thank you for adding the extra stress of living during this holiday (my first as being a wife I will add) season the worse but I know through God this shall past soon!

2021-12-14After reviewing their website to see if they had apartments available to move into by the date I needed I called and scheduled a tour for a few days later, confirming that that had apartments available for move in by my required date. I drove 90 minutes only to immediately be told they don’t have any apartments available by the date I needed. Wildly unprofessional to blatantly waste a potential clients time.

2021-02-01We stayed at Laurel Valley for more than five years and our experience staying there has been great. Kudos to social media team too for arranging cool events and contests. We just loved staying at Laurel Valley and would not have left if we had not have to leave the US.
