Comment: I provided 2 videos and a picture of what appears to be a loose ground wire in my dash. My vehicle was released to your dealership for service on Wednesday at 11:30. I was not asked about a “loner” vehicle or anything. I was not informed of any vehicle updates. Finally I called on Friday. I was advised my service rep would not be available until Saturday and, no one knew what the status of my vehicle was. On Saturday I just showed up. I was told the problems I described were not resolved. But, there was a “loose battery connection”. I am sure I will have to either take my vehicle to a more proactive dealer or, take it to an audio repair shop because, I’m fairly certain the dashboard will need to come out. I believe your technicians are too lazy to attempt such an operation. At any rate, I did not spend $70,000 of my hard earned dollars to be treated like this.

Comment: Let me start by saying I have bought 2 vehicles from lehmer’s and I have nothing bad to say about the sales team . The service department is another thing . My pickup was stolen at the beginning of the year and we got it back in good shape because the thieves wanted to resell. We took it to the dealership to be checked out and we had a list of things we knew needed attention like the gps the vin number and the thieves had rolled back the miles. They charged a diagnostic fee of 250 dollars but only checked the items on our list they charged us 400 dollars to try and roll forward to the real mileage but were never able to do so. And although they reprogrammed the key fobs they never relealized the horn did not work and we had the truck regularly serviced by them in fact right before it was stolen we had the brakes done I feel extremes let down by Tom and the service department with this experience. I will not bring my truck back nor will I purchase another vehicle from them

I don’t know when lying and deceiving became the next level to selling cars. I admit my credit is not perfect but I was also not expecting to be coerced by coercive sales man. It was seamless and less expensive than the typical drive through oil change locations GMC wants their vehicles running and in good shape and I appreciate the high quality service there at LehmersA new experience at Lehmers made me change my postingI took my Yukon in for a quick oil change again and when they were done the tire pressure indicator light was on. They said it broke when they were rotating the tires and that it was going to cost $270 to fix it Each tire has its own sensor. They would not even give a discount on the sensor that broke while in their possession I’ll take my car elsewhere. My local mechanic (Gilmore’s Automotive) in Walnut Creek is great and has been in business forever and is super high quality work

Comment: I brought my Sierra 2500 for a routine oil and filter change. I picked up the truck at completion of the job and within a few minutes of driving the truck, my dash flashed a low oil pressure warning. I brought the truck back to the dealership and noticed oil spilling out from under the engine. Upon closer inspection, it was found that the oil filter gasket failed and was the source of the leak. Oil leaked all over the engine compartment and the ground. The service center took the truck back to reperform the work, which was not completed until late in the next day. I was not happy that a thorough cleaning of the engine compartment was not performed the following day when I picked up my vehicle. I was told that this would be done.The big issue was that the work was not done right the first time and that the car was returned with oil all over the engine compartment.

Comment: My husband had been researching used vehicles so when he mentioned it on our way home from hiking Black Diamond Mines Regional Preserve we stopped in. Were saw plenty of people who could help, but it was Lea Guido who came over to help. She is very nice! Offered water. There is a beautiful showroom and a lounge near the parts department. Vending machine is around the corner opposite from the bathrooms.What you need to know first, do your homework! Their site is easy to access at home. You can look at what you want, home much you want to spend, etc. and calculate what you can afford.To finance a USED vehicle is almost impossible at almost 8% rate. That is the market. Unless you are paying cash outright. The other thing you need to look at is how much do you want to put down. $5,000 is a good number.More importantly is your credit. They have a special going on until April with financing at 2.9% GMC rate. That is the best unless your credit union has a better rate. Look into financing options before deciding.They also work closely with Mobile Living who can put a cab on your vehicle but these are made to order, so it can be -10 weeks for delivery.Since this is a family-owned business and loyal to Concord, CA do stop in and have a chat. You might find a vehicle for your needs.

Comment: I have had vehicles serviced here before and never noticed an issue - However recently I had sine work done on my vehicle and it has become clear after the service that what they claim to have done was not, in fact, done!So I paid for (and my warranty was charged for) a service that was not completed. Ripped offBe careful!!Additionally - They had poor communication throughout the day of the service and when I went to pick up the car they hadn’t brought it up to the front and had to go wandering around in the lot to find it.I will not return here - and don’t recommend anyone else do so either!!

Shortly after the test drive. I pulled the trigger on this beautiful Denali. Honestly Ive never imagine myself spending over what Ive spent here. The individual who was supposed to assist me not only ignored my initial attempts but also appeared disinterested and preoccupied. When I finally brought up the fact that I had $114 in rewards from a previous booking, neither the person assisting me nor his colleagues seemed to have any idea how to apply these rewards. The situation escalated when they insisted on full payment without considering my rewards.In an attempt to resolve the issue, I mentioned the rewards again, leading to an encounter with Vicky, who approached the situation with a notably bad attitude. Her questions were posed in an extremely rude manner, adding an unpleasant layer to an already frustrating experience. It was only after this ordeal that they were able to apply the rewards. This entire encounter left me thoroughly disappointed, especially considering my year-long history with the establishment and the fact that I had previously purchased a truck from this dealership. Get a call back minutes later that theyre available and I could test drive. I get there and one is in the showroom while the other they refused to let me test drive, both requiring credit checks by their sales manager. Requiring a customer to receive a hard inquiry on their credit report, without any agreement on price, consideration if I even liked the car, is stupid and no consideration of the customers time. - Lost the easiest sale of your life as I ended up buying the same truck in Walnut Creek.

Comment: If you’d like to get taken for a ride, I’d recommend this place. Earlier this month I was on the hunt for a car. I went here, Toyota, and Acura. This was hands down the worst out of all of those three. Let me begin by saying Darrell was a very nice car salesman and did his job to the fullest of his duties. It was not until I got to the finance department where I was met with some of the rudest customer service I’ve ever been apart of. What was the catalyst? Myself doing the numbers on a note pad. That’s all it took to reverse the customer service mask they all put on. Finance guy (Ivan Mumm = Never Wrong) explained to me that all he does is punch the financing numbers into a computer and they generate. I ask him how does it get to that number and he didn’t know and then exclaimed I was being unreasonable for asking for a breakdown on a 30k purchase I was trying to work out. Since I was being unreasonable, they bring in a senior member and he explained the breakdown to me and Ivan (who was standing behind me). Ivan then thanked me for asking because he didn’t know how that number appeared…HE DIDNT KNOW. HE’S THEIR FINANCE GUY AND HE DIDN’T KNOW. That’s like having a pilot that doesn’t know how to manually fly a plane because “the computer takes care of it”….red flag number one. Also because I was being unreasonable, Evan Card (poor man’s Dave Portnoy look alike) comes in and I truly believe that Evan has never been trained in customer service. Now look, I understand business can be inherently vicious at points, but there’s a difference between being firm for business sake and crossing the boundary into unnecessarily rude. Evan does not know where that line is and I’d attribute that to the lack of customer service training he has (if their even is any). Lastly, I had a pre approval from Patelco to ensure I had the best rate possible. They apparently “could not find it” (even though I confirmed with my loan officer from Patelco that they had sent it) and thus rejected it and said everything was okay because GMC stepped into finance the purchase (oddly convenient). Now knowing they were going to finance, this would also means that they are able to drop the rate. I asked for a rate similar to that of my Patelco application and they refused; As if their own bank had no way of doing it. Overall, terrible experience. They will not work with you unless the deal HEAVILY favors them and if you push back to get a better deal, expect to be treated like not a customer.

My husband and I brought our 6 year old with us, she has ASD and can be hard to manage but Darrell made her feel right at home. He brought her color books, toys and snacks, he even let her play with his golf putt set in his office. They gave me a fair price for our trade in and just made the whole experience an exciting and pleasant one when typically it is full of anxiety and game playing over price. In the end we left with our beautiful brand new Acadia and a bunch of gifts from the dealership which was just the icing on top! We highly recommend this dealership and specifically Darrell and Carl who are absolute rock stars. We will be exclusively purchasing from Lehmers in the future!

Comment: The sales people here are nice. The sales manager is kind of pushy, but I get it..hes trying to sell a vehicle. I went in looking for an AT4 1500 and they had the truck I wanted. I went through the process and wasnt able to get this vehicle at this time. The funny thing is that I was approved at Dublin GMC...oh well. The reasons Im giving it a 1 star is 1) when I test drove the truck, the sales person didnt go with us because there were a lot of customers at the store. Not very classy for a GMC dealership.2) The ONLY thing that I cannot stand about this dealership is that they have a 7-8k mark up on certain models (AT4 not AT4X) where other GMC dealerships in the Bay Area are selling them at MSRP. ANY dealership that is adding the market adjustment deserves NO business.Dublin, Fremont, Burlingame, Richmond, Patterson (and many more) GMC all DO NOT have an adjusted mark-up on their trucks. Buyer Beware! I will continue to have this posted until dealerships stop robbing customers

Comment: This is for the service department and Emily the service writer. I called about a repeat issue on my Chevrolet Silverado and if they as a GMC dealer can address it. She was the only dealership of 3 that I called who actually asked for my vin, checked my vehicle, looked at my history, verified the service bulletin, and then believed that I was correct in the issue and replacement we needed (for the 3rd time). She then told me on a Friday she could squeeze me in tomorrow, on a Saturday. She verified, without me asking, if they had the parts on hand for that appointment. We dropped the truck off at 9am and she called at 3:30 to let us know it was done and ready for pickup before they close at 4pm. It was covered under warranty. It made a HUGE difference in my plans for this coming week and overall stress level for the weekend. We know our cars are important to us. And its really hard for these service advisors and techs to figure things out, working on dirty vehicles is a thankless job. But I hope this service department knows the positive impact they had on me that Friday I called, and the last few days since the service and having my vehicle back the same day. Thank you!

I went ahead and told them to do the work since I bought the my car there and wanted my car working like new again. I get my invoice and they didn’t even put a new transmission! I paid 10k to get a remanufactured transmission. I speak to service manager Garry C. and tell him Emily Vanden said it was a new transmission and responds by saying Emily said she didn’t say that. Comment: My truck was damaged while being serviced on May 2,2023. I brought this to the attention of the service advisor and he said this is unacceptable. I asked if it came from the ceiling and he said No, it came from cords from the floor. I got estimates to return the truck to the condition that it was dropped off in. Enter Gary Cox. After a prolonged delay, for an excuse that he broke his back, which I really dont care, I just want my truck back the way it was, he continues to procrastinate, has the audacity to insinuate that the damage was there prior to my visit, basically accusing me of lying and offers 1/2 of what the repair would cost AND expects my to sign a waiver releasing Lehmers from any future complaint. If you know me and the extreme care that my last truck goes through, daily, you would know just how perfect the truck was when I dropped it off. Absolutely unbelievable experience. I am now getting a lawyer to clean up this mess. Its not about how much it will cost me at this point. Plain and simple, its principle. WORST GMC EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFETIME. Comment: The turbo failed on my 2019 Encore. It was under warranty so I found Lehmers online. Stephanie managed my repair order from the initial phone call until I got my car back a week later. She set me up with a really nice loaner car, kept up with all of the activity and gave me daily updates. She managed my expectations well so I didnt worry. The car runs like new again and Im really thankful for such white glove service by the whole team at Lehmers.

Comment: I love my Buick Encore 2020 Gx and had a good buying experience but the service department was a huge disappointment. The only good thing I can say is John? the person that gave me a shuttle ride home was very personable and pleasant. Brought up the fact that my breaks squeak upon backing and service dept said, Well, they all do that. Also, had to seek out someone to help me because no one approached me. Comment: We purchased our Yukon from Lehmers in 2019. We had a couple of issues that were covered under warranty and brought our Yukon in and were extremely satisfied with the service writer as well as the work that was completed on the vehicle. Recently I was having an issue with the temperature sensor and brought it in because I wasn’t able to figure it out myself. The vehicle is now out of warranty and required the diagnosis fee to figure out what the problem was. They were able to diagnose it and I was able to replace the thermostat myself saving me hundreds of dollars. Again their service writer went above and beyond to make sure that I was happy. I would recommend this dealership to anyone in the market for a new vehicle or in need of service for their GM automobile. Thanks again for everything and especially a huge thanks to you Emily for making sure I was taken care of. I consider them my go to dealership.

Comment: I was not given a heads up on prices at all. I am not sure if everyone expects a low light bulb to cost over $130 but mine did. That was shocking. I was also not aware that the cost of battery installation was about the same as the battery itself. These are things I would tell people about lehmers as I truly believe that there are other quality places out there that do not cost nearly as much.

Comment: Service check-in was fast and easy. Stephanie was great and helped us with the service write-up and gave us the estimates. After the service was complete, she promptly called us and we opted to pick up the cargo van the next day. The service department opens at 7, but I was told over the phone that the cashier doesnt get there until 7:30 or 7:45, so keep that in mind when picking up your vehicle. Im glad I called ahead to check. Paying for the charges was fast and easy. At that early in the morning, there was no wait at the cashier, and we were shown the multi-point inspection sheet that our van successfully passed. Leaving the service area was difficult since there were so many customers dropping off their trucks and SUVs. Anyone who comes here know that the driveway is rather small for the size of the vehicles they service. Theres only 3 service lanes (2 for drop off, 1 for pick up, from what I can see) and the customer parking area is very small; only 11 regular spaces, most of which are always full, and 2 handicap spaces. Of course, a king cab long bed truck was parked in one of those customer parking spaces, and both service drop off lanes were backed up with full-size SUVs, so I was blocked in and unable to leave. I had to ask the service valet if there was another exit since I was clearly stuck. Thankfully, he was able to back my van out of the pickup area and maneuver it to the service lot and I was able to leave using an alternate exit on Willow Pass. So my only complaint is that the service driveway needs more space. Otherwise, the service here is excellent and well be back again when our cargo van needs maintenance.

Comment: I have been coming to Lehmers since 2016. I have always had good experiences (as far as I know). The people are very nice. This time, I brought in a truck I had just purchased from a private seller. Had Lehmers go through everything. $3500 later it was done. Too much money for what I had done. Fine. What makes me angry and doubt Lehmers integrity and pricing is the estimate to fix the door lock switch and side mirror controls. Quoted $440. Told all new wires need to be installed and connectors were corroded. 15 minutes and $35 at home repair told me otherwise…no corrosion and wires were pristine. Repair to me, inexperienced person, 15 minutes. Seriously makes me doubt all the work and past charges by Lehmers. I defiantly will not be going back for the $900 AC repair they quoted.

Comment: Service department is pretty terrible. Horrible customer service, not friendly, not welcoming, they don’t seem to have a sense of urgency about anything. I can never seem to get my truck serviced properly. Last couple times I brought my car for an oil change, I asked for 3 other items to be looked at on my vehicle that were covered by warranty. Both times none of those items were diagnosed, or repaired. They always seem to be too busy. Then I when I ask for an appointment they’re always 3 to 4 weeks away! If I didn’t know any better I would think that they’re intentionally not wanting to cover warranty items here. Last time I came in I asked why I didn’t receive maintenance coupons in the mail like I do from Fremont or Vacaville GMC. My service reps answer was “ We’re not desperate for business like them” what?????? To make matters worse I let my service rep know that I was leaving for town first thing in the morning. He told me my car would be done that day, however as it got closer to 5 o’clock I called to find out that he had left for the day and they needed to keep my truck overnight. I had to call multiple times and demand the service manager release my vehicle. Never again…

Comment: Had problems with my Sierra regarding my Air conditioning system. The problem is super common in these trucks and so I went to Lehmers and worked with Emily. Throughout the experience, Emily was a huge help with getting my air conditioning system running again.A couple weeks went by and it was discovered there was a leak in a separate part of the system. Good thing I had an alternate vehicle to use, as this would have been a major inconvenience. Comment: Avoid working with the service advisor Emily Vanden. Emily is unprofessional and she prioritizes her revenue over customer service. Here’s what happened:My truck had an issue nearly every day in which the engine power was automatically reduced (code P2138). Prior to my visit, I told Emily about the work that other technicians had tried over 4 months. I was sharing the information in order to prevent Lehmer’s service team from repeating the same attempts and failed solutions. She had a dismissive attitude and I could tell she wasn’t listening.After my first visit to Lehmer’s, Emily called saying the issue was fixed by applying dielectric grease to the electrical connectors. I reminded her that that was previously done by another technician and it wasn’t the solution. Emily brushed it off, saying the issue was fixed and to “think positive”. Later that same day, the issue occurred again. I called Emily to share my disappointment in paying 225 and then seeing the same service warning after driving 10 miles away from Lehmers. I asked for the fee of the next diagnostic to be waived. Her reply was “Of course. It hasn’t even been a day since you left”.To my surprise, when I brought in my truck in for the second time, Emily did not waive the diagnosis fee. Instead she said she has to charge a second 225 to open up the dash. I was in a bind because the issue was now happening daily and I needed it fixed.A couple days later, Emily called saying the throttle assembly needed to be replaced. I reminded her that this was already done by another GMC dealership. At this point, it was evident that Emily hadn’t listened to the information I previously shared. So Emily called the next day quoting an additional 600 to repair wires. The quote for 2nd visit was now 825.When the job was done, Emily had her colleague Stephanie call me on Emilys day off to say my truck was ready for pickup. To end it all, I learned from Stephanie that Emily increased the final price to 900 with no explanation.I had a terrible experience with Emily Vanden. She’s an example of a service advisor who fails to listen and wastes a client’s time and money. Emily clearly plays a numbers game, trying to charge as much as she can get away with while failing to provide decent customer service.

Comment: I am a disabled veteran and I came in to get a trailer break sensor looked at. I arrived about 1210 pm for an appointment at 1230. When I arrived it took a while for anyone to acknowledge me. Other people who walked in after me were offered help before me. When I informed them I was here too, they said I needed to wait. Finally someone called me over and offered to help, but they said so and so has all the info and would help me. After standing/waiting about twenty minutes I left before being seen because my disabilities were flaring up and causing me problems. The vibe I got was, I was not welcome and decided to take my business else where. I advise yall to do the same. Pro Tip: I understand being busy, but if youre busy and you see a visably disabled person standing there and you know youre going to be busy. Offer them a seat and let them know youll be with them momentarily.

Comment: In all good experiences. Just a killer in labor costs. More than double the price of parts. Had the vehicle for 2 days and when I got it back they didnt refill the wiper fluid, bone dry empty after paying 2100 for a full 90,000 mile service. But in all good experience, been going to the dealer for years now.So an update as of 12/4/2021...I had to make another appointment cause I needed a new motor mount. In my booking and speaking to my service advisor I asked and was told my wiper fluid would be topped off (still empty) my fob remote battery would be changed out (not changed), and I would receive a new service due sticker (still same sticker since before my last service). As I had to reset my own oil life meter a couple hundred miles after receiving service. Yet again they had my vehicle for 2 days and when I get it back seems like nothing was done. Ive been a customer for almost 6yrs now and live 30min away. This has left a sour taste for me wasting my time, gas, breath, and patience.

Comment: I brought my SUV in for an oil leak, low oil pressure light and stabitrak light going on and off. I had to bring my truck back 4 times. The first time I picked up and paid for my truck I didnt get 2 miles down the road when I received the same low oil light and stabitrak light plus I got a check engine light... which Ive never had. To make things worse the oil leak was way worse. I have pictures if youre interested. Long story short, Everytime I brought it back the technician claimed there was no leak but my driveway and videos prove otherwise. Yesterday I brought it back again because its still leaking and has low oil pressure and I was told there is no leak and the oil pressure is fine. Again, I have pictures and video to prove otherwise. Tom in service was great through the entire process. Very patient and always willing to have the truck looked at, however Gary the manager complete opposite. I had a 10 minute conversation with Gary and all he wanted was more money even though I already paid $5600 for work that still isnt fixed. My truck was originally brought in July 23rd and yesterday was 10/7 and still leaking oil and has low oil pressure. Now the tech is saying my SUV is leaking coolant from underneath the manifold which they supposedly removed to change the oil pressure filter. My plan was too fix this SUV and give it to a family member then buy a new SUV for my family. After this experience I will not be purchasing from Lehmers which Im kinda bummed. Last time we bought our car from Ron Sadler and he was great but I have zero faith in the service/technicians at your establishment. Ron Sadler and Tom M would be the only reason I might consider purchasing an SUV there but Ill definitely service it elsewhere.Respectfully,J. Martin

Comment: During this completely changed vehicle availability, I decided to stop my desire to build my new Yukon and try to find an existing inventory at a dealer instead as I definitely need it over the next few years and cannot wait for the buying process to return to a more normal state. Lehmers was one of the only places that actually had even close to what I was looking for. I called them on a Friday morning as soon as they opened to check if they still had the AT-4 Yukon and the salesman (Moe) and his manager confirmed still on lot. I asked questions and then not wanting to see the vehicle sold before I got there (I live 50 miles from Lehmers) I asked if I could give a deposit. They politely said unfortunately the policy (especially during this time) was first come, first served. I said what if I just pay now over the phone! Well, I must say they must have looked at each other and realized my pain. The manager and Moe offered to hold the vehicle a few hours to allow me to drive there. They handled this very professionally and Moe gave me his contact info so we stayed updated on my arrival time. When I arrived they had the vehicle ready for the test ride (I could tell that even though I was extremely interested to purchase they wanted to expose me to the vehicle with same attention to sale) and we started the buying process. I was paying cash and during the time the wire of funds and paperwork was done I was offered beverages and care. During this time I was actually impressed by the cleanliness and organized feel of Lehmers. Nice place, nice vibe. The customers I noticed in service all seemed calm and well taken care of. I also noticed a buyer looking very pleased as they were attended to by sales before smiling ear to ear and driving off the lot. I want to say that Lehmers made a very stressful time for me a very pleasant experience overall. They did a great job handling the whole deal. I felt safe and sound there and would definitely buy from them again. Spending time with my salesman Moe was like doing business with a trusted partner. He made me feel like he was serving both Lehmers and I both interests, and that made it a more calming day during a pandemic purchase. May we all find blessings as we move into 2022!Thanks Moe! Comment: I called to get an price on a Oil change and fuel filter change and I was told that the price for that would be $99.99 and that itll include-Oil change-Oil filter- Tire rotation- 10 point inspection- Fuel filterAnd when I arrived at the dealership they told me that they have me wrong information that the fuel filter wasnt included and I said they told me over the phone multiple times that it was. This is the only reason I decided to go there. They wouldnt validate that they had told me.Second My vehicle is still under warranty I had a few issues that supposedly they fixed but they didnt.3rd they kept my truck for 4 days without telling me it was ready they were planning on telling me on the 5th day. I had to go there and do their job giving me my vehicle back pretty much. I brought in my brand new 2021 GMC Sierra that did not have any dents or scratches on it for an oil change. I did not look at my vehicle when I left the dealership due to the fact that I would have assumed there would have been no issues. Been no issues. I get home after my day of work and doing what I had to do do and find that the top of my truck is dented. You tell me how that happened? I bring the vehicle back to the dealership to show them the Dent that was not there before I brought my vehicle in and all they can tell me is...Well have to look at the videos but there is no way possible that could happen in our shop!! As of today, August 16th, I have not received a phone call from the dealership. It is very upsetting to know that this is the kind of customer service that has been provided at this establishment. If somebody of importance is reading this, I would expect somebody to reach out to me to address this situation since the service manager there does not seem to care!!

They finally changed the oil after 2 hours and I noticed my truck back in the parking lot with no communication. I asked if it was done after 2 hours of waiting and they said no. They still didn’t run a diagnostic to see what was wrong with my DEF gauge.I left and will not be going back. Very poor service. It took two weeks to get my appointment and they still weren’t able to see what issues there were with the gauge.

Lehmers had added a dealer premium of $3,000 to the MSRP which I did not want to pay, so I enlisted a broker in my town to try to negotiate elimination of the add-on. The effort failed. Five days later I found essentially the same truck at another dealer and paid MSRP. In my opinion Lehmers is driven by greed more than consumer satisfaction.

Comment: Brought the car in for a right rear burned out turn indicator. Was told that I needed to replace fuze box. Fuze box was replaced and then left rear lights didnt work because of a voltage surge. Then we were told a control module needed.tp be replaced. Finally, we were told it was ready and came to pick it up. We left the lot and the car was not fixed, and had a.trail of ants all over dash and inside. Had to leave the car another day.Problem 1. A.burned out turn indicator used to require a light bulb change not a $1300 fix.Problem 2. We brought in the car with one issue, and then another issue was created that didnt exist when we brought it in. Why does that become our cost to fix?Problem 3. When we leave the car there over a.week and are.tokd its ready. We shouldnt be driving the car off the lot with the initial problem still unresolved. Thats sloppy work by the technician. Which goes.back to not at all believing issue 2 was out issue. That problem didnt exist when we brought it in.Looking at this level of coat and experience, I no longer trust the service department, and the level of service/communication.was not acceptable.

I agreed to the full asking price and did not even try to bargain or negotiate even with all cash.Sat around for almost two hours. Start doing the paperwork and they wanted to charge 1k more then the asking price. Comment: I dont care for dealerships or car salesman. Ive had many bad experiences. During finance, they brought out a proposed 6 year finance. Without even asking first. I said no. I dont want 6 years. I want 3. Then they brought out a 4 year finance deal. I said I wanted three. They said, oh no, you dont want three. Finance charge is too high.I had them hold a $7000 check that they held for me until insurance money came in. They PROMISED me they would not cash it without talking to me first. They cashed it. I had my bank overdrawn.I spoke with manager Carl Rogers who would not take accountability. Actually he wouldnt even talk about it.Then, I had financed a roof rack with my car. They said they could do it. They called me back, oops it cannot be done. One of reasons I bought the car. Carl again promised in February that he had already sent a check to the finance company to reimburse the rack. I called twice to confirm. Here it is April 29th and the check was not sent. No apology. No accountability. Not a good experience. Next time Im going to carvana or some online car sales.

Comment: I brought my truck into Lehmer’s service department. They test drove it and said the vibration and sound I was hearing was the torque converter going out and it needed replacing. They quoted and charged me around $1900 for the new torque converter. They also recommended that I replace the transmission as well just because of age but they said it was working fine at the time so I declined to spend $4900 that they quoted me. I picked up the truck when it was done and on my way home I noticed the same vibration and sound. I drove it a couple of days to make sure I was hearing the same noise and vibration as before I had it fixed. I called the service manager Tom and he said it’s probably air in the new torque converter and should work its way out. Christmas was a week away and I agreed to drive it until after the holidays and see if it gets better. It didn’t, it actually got a little worse. I brought the truck back for them to fix it right this time. They’re now saying the transmission is bad and it would be another $5900 for a new transmission. That’s $1000 higher than they originally quoted me. I asked if they would give me my $1900 back and apply it on the cost of the new transmission and they said yes but only off the higher quoted price. My issue is, they raised the repair price on the transmission $1000 more than they originally quoted. So what I get from all this is, there wasn’t anything wrong with my torque converter they replaced and charged me $1900. They obviously misdiagnosed what the problem was and want me to pay for their mistake. If they would had diagnosed the problem correctly the first time, it would have only cost me $4900 not $5900. This may have been an innocent case of miss quoting me the right price but bottom line is this service supervisor is in denial of what he quoted me to cover his hinny.I’ve probably bought nearly a dozen vehicle’s form Lehmer’s over the past 35 years for my businesses plus all the service business for those vehicles. The $1000 their trying to rip me off for is nothing compared to the 10’s of thousands in business they will lose from me. Makes no business sense. I’m just shocked and stunned how I was treated. This is definitely not the same company I’ve known for the past 35 years. No way in hell will I or my family and friends ever give these people anymore business. If they would treat a good customer for 35 years like this can you imagine how they would treat anyone else.

Was told they needed to fix one more thing. After waiting 2+ weeks ( I called to check status was told we will get back to you, but never received return calls ) I was told the truck is ready and was charged $1,400. I drove the truck lest than 1 mile the light came back on and currently it is back in your shop. At this point I feel as if you are just randomly trying parts and telling me it’s fixed, come pick it up and charging me. I have been without a truck now for over 3 weeks. I am a contractor so it really hurts to be down a truck and to be told it’s ready only to find out it’s not fixed. I have bought a few company trucks and a few personal vehicles from you I also have 4 vehicles worked on by you. At this point I will be purchasing my new vehicles elsewhere and finding a new place for Servace. Comment: As a GMC owner that has recommended Lehmers over the years, I wanted to share a recent encounter with your service department that left a bad taste in my mouth. To provide a little context to the situation, let me go back a few months. Last year, I started getting occasional error codes when I engaged my back up camera. I researched the problem and learned it was possibly fixable with a software update at the dealer. Well around that time, I brought my Canyon in for an oil change. While there I told my service advisor about the problem and asked if they could do a software update. He told me there was not time to do it, as they had only allocated enough time for my oil change, and to set up an appointment for it in the future. I knew my new vehicle warranty was up later in the year, but I knew I had mentioned the problem under warranty, plus I had bought the comprehensive extended warranty, so I figured it wouldnt be an issue. Well recently my hands free system in my truck stopped recognizing almost any command I gave it. I again researched it and learned that it was a problem encountered by various gmc owners, and would likely be resolved with the software update. A fellow GMC owner even mentioned many dealers would even make things right and do the software update free of charge. So this time I set up an appointment for both an oil change and for the software update, setting up alternate transportation by family, and blocking out several hours of my afternoon. Well I arrived at my appointment and spoke with the service advisor, who promptly told me that since my truck was no longer under the new vehicle warranty it expired 2-3 months ago), I would have an out of pocket expense. Even with my extended warranty, she didnt know if the software update would be covered. She said best case scenario, if covered I would have to pay a $100 deductable. If they determined it wouldnt be covered under the extended warranty, I would have to pay a $190 diagnostic fee, plus any repair costs. I was disgusted and cancelled that part of the appointment. So here I have an intellilink system having issues likely fixable with a software update, and Im going to have to pay potentially hundreds of dollars to do it. A little bit of understanding can go a long way in customer service. I understand that you are a business and you have policies, however this seemingly simple request has now changed my opinion of Lehmers and will be causing me to take my business elsewhere. I use to have all my routine services done at Lehmers despite the higher price, but that will no longer be the case. I can also assure you my next vehicle will not be a GMC.

Comment: I believe that Lehmers recommended service schedule is a complete money grab. I went in today for 30K mi service maintenance for our 2017 Acadia. I was told yesterday that a car would be available. When I arrived, I discovered that the 30K service would be $1000!! no itemized service on the estimate and that there was not a car available so I would have to be taken over to Hertz. After over an hour and still not in the rental car I called another dealership only to discover that they charge approx $150- $500 depending on the level of service you want. I was told we were being charged by Lehmers basically for a 45K. After waiting for an hour and a half all in, I went back to Lehmers, got my car back, which I was told was already being worked on....it was not. It was in the parking lot. I looked up the Maintenance Schedule on the GMC website, the big services should take place at 45K and then 90K. Lehmers does 30K, then 50K and probably 100K. They have managed to add in another big service at 30K with all sorts of BS inspections for $1000!!

One day he is your best bud and next time you come he doesnt know you. It is nice that they case about the new vehicles and reply to people with positive reviews. I guess that is convenient for them.I would not recommend to anyone this place. For new cars they might have great service but for used they are one of the worst dealerships. I purchase a non GM vehicle from them that had gone through their 175 point inspection. During the test drive everything was ok. Four days after purchasing the car it developed a knock from the steering or suspension and a small leak. The car is 3 years old with 20k miles. I went back to the dealership but they refuse to take a look and see what they fixed wrong or missed during the inspection that they performed. I will be contacting the GM Corporate office and a layer to find out what can be done in order to get the dealership to look at the car and see what they missed or covered up so it is good only until it is sold.

It was exactly what we wanted and close to home. When we first walked we were a bit put off by the trash cans by the door and 6 large round tables leaning against the wall like it was going out of business.What has me upset is the honesty or lack there of. We were lead to believe many things were just fine to find out they were not. They did a great job of omitting things. The key fob was busted and not an original and come to find out they replaced 2 of the 4 tires and did not get the same ones, the tread, highway rating and safety rating arent even close. The last thing I want to share is their care for clients after youve paid. I was told to come back to have it detailed, I thought no big deal. After the First detail they didnt even clean the inside, mind you I sat there waiting for 2 hours. I had to leave so I was told to come back. The Second time it was detailed the did the EXACT same thing! Again I waited nearly 2 hours to have it done. This time I was so upset with this entire situation I regretted in every way that I ever went there. After I left the manager called me and offered me a free tank of gas for my time! A tank of gas?! I was besides myself. Why would I go back to that dealership and probably wait 2 hours for a tank of gas. Im thinking maybe they should have picked my car up, detailed it like they should have and brought it back with a full tank. Anyway, long story short. Comment: Best experience ever.Ive bought at least 11 new cars and at least that many motorcycles and thus was, by far, the most direct, no-surprises, genuine, quickest transaction ever. Got a price from Internet mgr., Rick, that blew other quotes I had by $4k+. Made an appointment for next morning, truck was gasses and ready. Sold! Gave me a number on my trade that was right what I expected. Showed me the features of the car (that took a half hour), set up onstar for me and I was done. Who thing was less than 2 hours. One of the owners, Tammy, came by and said thanks. Russ in finance was as quick as that gets, and Ron in sales pointed out a few things on the truck that was helpful. I dont know them and Im not getting anything for this, but I will say this was shockingly pleasant.

Within a year I hear noises from and take it to a GM dealer where I live now and they said that Lehmers did the repairs incorrectly resulting in needing the same differential repair. Comment: ***EDIT***I have been working with Russ Anderson from Lehmers to fix the seat and address the other smaller issues. I have adjusted the rating accordingly. Russ has treated us well and respected our grievances. If Pete had just done this from the get go, we would have been much happier and would have had a 5 star post sale experience. It seems Pete was trying to save the cost of replacing the seat covers by doing a cheap fix to get us out the door.After over a month of further attempts to redo their repair, Lehmers finally agreed to replace the affected seat covers and we are happy with the results.*** EDIT ***My wife and I needed an new family SUV after our 2007 Saturn Vue was deemed a total loss. We settled on a Dodge Durango and found several low-mileage, pre-owned, 2017 and 2018 GT models at several dealers in our area (Concord/Walnut Creek).I saw Lehmers had a 2017 Durango Gt in the colors we wanted and called to get more details. We were put in touch with Chico Dixon and set a time to come take a look. My wife was busy with our 5 month old at home, so I went in on 4/2/18 by myself to look and test drive. We had driven another 2017 that was exactly the same minus the AWD 2 days previous at another dealer.Chico treated us well and I liked the car except I saw the rear seats (middle, behind passenger) had some damage to the leather. Also found broken glass under the damaged seat and what looked like blood stains behind the center armrest and on the other passenger seat.These few things were giving us pause. The Sales Manager, Pete Benjamin, said no, problem! We have a leather guy here and well fix the seats for you! We moved forward with the sale. I purchased the Cilajet protection for the seats/dash/wheels and an extended warranty.Our first disappointment came when we found out the extended warranty they sold us was more of a reimbursement service contract and the company they use has terrible ratings and reviews. I found out the Mopar manufacturer lifetime extended warranty was cheaper than the 4yr/100k warranty they sold us. We cancelled the Lemers warranty without issue.We brought the Durango in to have them do the seat repair 4/11/18. They ended up needing to keep the car until 4/12/18 due to the Cilajet application. I asked for them to make sure to remove the stains prior to applying the Cilajet, which the service advisor promised they would do a full detail and try their best to remove the stain.My advisor called Thursday to say the car was ready and the seat looked brand new. Good news. But after picking it up and getting it home to inspect further, we saw their repair was to apply a copious amount of leather patch (the type found at most auto parts stores) over the entire seat bottom. After actually applying pressure (similar to someone sitting in the seat) the repair cracked and the paint flaked off. This made the soft leather feel and look like cheap vinyl and was at best a cheap, short-term fix.Had we know they would do such a cheap fix we would have looked elsewhere for another Durango. We spent close to $40,000 and feel like we received worse service than buying a mechanics special from Craigslist.

Our sales person Moe was great as well as everyone else was from finance to the manager. I highly recommend Lehmers because of their no pressure sales approach and how friendly everyone was. Our trade in and purchase went smooth and quick. When we went back the next day to sign papers, we had our new automobile and were home in a breeze. Comment: We were in the market for 2018 Yukon Denali XL with 8 passenger configuration. This configuration is not very common in the Denali model. We have 5 kids, so 8 passenger seating is a must! Other trim models are available in this configuration, however wife wanted all bells and whistles that come with Denali. We searched numerous dealerships in the greater Bay Area and could not find what we were looking for. We came in to Lehmers and still no luck. I tried talking the wife into getting a very nice SLT model, but she would not budge. Our sales Rep. Ray Cabaong recommended picking out color and options and he would do everything possible to get us vehicle delivered. Comment: I went in on Sunday 3/25/18 after truck shopping at other locations, and Ive gotta say I was very disappointed with the service I received from the Carl, the general sales manager at this location. I walked in with two trade-ins after visiting the Antioch Toyota( superb experience there), and the guy treated me as if I was a child trying to buy a Ferrari. He didnt want to accept one of my cars because it was a Mustang Cobra and automatically assumed that it needed a $2k clutch and mistreated, and my other vehicle he said was worthless (2006 Yukon Denali 109k miles). He questioned me for an hour and kept saying he needs to make a phone call to verify everything I was saying as if I was a liar. The truck was $49k -- I earn six figures with excellent credit and he told me I couldnt afford one with those trade ins and my income... That Id need a cosigner and somehow budget the $750 payment. The guy was ridiculous and I ended up walking out after he said he was double checking my story with Toyota yet again ( regarding my trade ins). He came running out and said hed take the cars and give me the deal as I was reversing my vehicle. I went straight to Antioch Toyota and bought a Platinum Tundra. They had zero issues with my trade ins and they gave me 1.9% financing. Ill never buy a vehicle from Lehmers, Ill head straight to Hilltop or Dublin for a GMC.

The finance mgr came to me with a deal I turned it down told him I wanted to break even on my trade in he went back to talk to his mgr then came to me and said well pay off your car. Originally they offered me 9,000 but I owed 10,500 on my trade in. I told him I dont want the balance rolled over on the new 23,000 car I was buying he said no well pay off your old car. Guess what? Yes I had told them and all done within the hour. A few days later a metal to metal grinding was going on once I applied the brakes and got worst and worst. Called to have it checked out and would be 3 days later to be seen. Took truck to my local mechanic and he showed me where the brake pads had completely had worn out and into the rotor. I would think a quick safety check at the dealership would have got this and requested to be repaired. What could have been just pads ended up a lot more.

Comment: Update 11/5/17 . After yet another disappointing attempt to support them, it is official, never going there again!!! I tried once more to support them since they are a local business. But they again reinforced my opinoin about them. I was given a loner car since the service department needed my car most of the day.I did think that the price of a 30,000 mile service is rather steep at $1160.00. I know the mencanics did a multi- point inspection. Lubed and oiled, changed filters, rotated tires, changed break fluid and transmission fluid, installed new windshield wipers. Still it does seem rather pricey. Oh, but I did have a coupon for $100 off!

Comment: We are two young professionals, and we encounter; Pushy sales people. Was only offered to test drive two cars, was declined the request to drive a third. They tried to run our credit before making an offer, likely profiling. They do not like educated consumers. We were there to make a deal so were completely shocked when the Sales manager essentially asked us to leave; said they were to busy for us! Never provided us any numbers. We were in shock when we had to show ourselves out after being treated so poorly. I am still in disbelief in the way they treated us, especially the sale manager, should be better then that. Comment: I purchased a used 2011 GMC Arcadia from Lehmers in March of 2017. Our salesman Darrell was great, we really enjoyed working with him and felt like he had our best interest in mind throughout the entire process. On the flip side there was a front end noise that I discovered during my test drive that turned out to be something that the service department and sales manager had on record but did not address. After quite a bit of back an forth (and leaving once with my money) they offered to fix the issue. The replaced the steering box and my wife picked up the car and brought it home.we put about a tank of gas through it before the noise was back and even worse then it was before. Finally we took it to our own mechanic and had to replace about $1,000 worth struts and bushings in the front end before finally getting the car to drive the way it should. I would consider returning in the future, but I would not trust the 110pt inspection that they talk about. Take the car to a third party and make sure you know what youre getting. Since the repairs its been a great car. Again, Darrel was great!

Comment: Actually this company get Zero stars. After having my truck in there shop for 2 1/2 weeks. Stephanie never contacted me and told me any updates on how the inspection of my vehicle were going. I never receive the invoice. The shop never did a tear down. Today January 12, 2017 I went to meet the Allstate adjuster. The dealership told All State That my truck had wear and tear. So Allstate said they wouldnt fixed my vehicle. Even though it was due to there tow truck damaging my truck. But this is what they said the wear and tear was the oil residue under my vehicle they considered as wear and tear. Which had nothing to do with the tow damages. I didnt have any cracks or anything damaged underneath there. But I did have the marks from the tow truck under there. Thats the reason I was there in the first place. I went there because the tow truck that told my vehicle to service king in Oakland damage my truck during the tow. I pick Lehmers to fixed my truck but all they could tell Allstate I had wear and tear. I ask mechanic Scott did you a tear down on vehicle? Did you drive test it ? Scott said no. Scott got so mad at question he told us to leave the dealership. He then told the general manager some type of lie. Then the general manager told us, customers cant be back here. After they knew we were coming there for appointment. Scott let my truck down from the rack and drove it out to the front of the dealership. Then A few minutes later while we were still discussing the situation with the Allstate adjuster. Another mechanic brought my keys and said heres your keys. The adjuster looked at him and said you know she cant drive that vehicle with the condition that the vehicle is in. They didnt even care if I had accident. This company is very disrespectful and non-compassionate to customers. Do not do business with this company. Please do business somewhere else with a company who doesnt tell you that other things are wrong with your vehicle that has nothing to do with the problem you started with in the first place and another thing watch out for the mechanics they are not checking anything but trying make extra money off of you. They will try to get you to believe that you have other problems with your vehicle. Do not be deceived. Get a second opinion. Trust me you will thank me later.

Comment: Our business initially started at Dublin GMC, but we didnt receive great service when looking for an Acadia. I sent an online request and started conversing with Art in Concord. Art was very helpful, and gave perfect customer service! He found the car we were looking for, followed up with us every step of the way. I told my husband, it was the best, non-stressful car sales process weve been through. Comment: Great service from Paul and the other guys- Paul has always been super cool to work with whenever I have to bring my vehicle in. Straight to the point, even though its usually an arm and a leg - he always has a way of delivering the bad news in a very open and honest way. Great service writers all the way around.

Comment: Our Salesperson, Rick Weaver, was fantastic. He was very clear in every question I had asked him and assisted me with 100% professionalism. For me, I understand how much hours we have to put into this job and for Rick to stay and help us out on his day off without turning us made us feel really special. I also understand that salespeople have a bad rep. for treating customers wrong and I would like Rick to know that he is among one of the top 1%s to actually treat people right and with respect. Lehmers GMC has definitely earned my business because of Rick and it was worth the hour drive just to meet such a great man. I recommend anyone who is in the market for a vehicle to ask for him.

Comment: Very pure customer service.Sales person has no idea about the car all what he is interesting is his commissions.Call for car appraise get information its take at least 1 hour,when i arrived no one even come outside to take a look my car.Estimate they give to me $10.000 lower then the car value,just waist 2 hours of my time for this horrible dealership.If i can put for review 0 i will but even 0 is too much for this place.Sand message to all my friends and let them now about this dealer ship and they professional people.

Comment: First of all Paul and one or two other service pros are great. The problem is, as with most GM dealers, utter lack of professionalism and care. The most recent issue occurred when the skid plate fell off on freeway. I called to ask a simple question about whether or not the car should be driven. The receptionist told me they had a line out the door and only one service agent. I told her our situation and asked if she could pick up the phone for a yes or no question. She refused. Tried to convince her..but other than repeating mantra..shs refused. She said someone would call me. I answered that we were on side of freeway and would simply like the question answered. Nope. Then I asked for service manager Paul Cox. Told he wasnt working. I then asked for his boss. The receptionist did not know who that was. So.a Saturday, line out the door, one service guy, no manager, no one in charge. Sign me up for another GM. Called another company( Infiniti) which was my prior car company. Answered in 20 seconds..

Comment: I bought a 2006 & also a 2008 Savanah van from them. They had a great salesman (I forget his name but his thing was wearing a cowboy hat). His goodwill is why I bought the 2 vehicles there.The first one I wanted to pick a color but they refused to order anything but white. That greatly annoyed me but otherwise the deal & service were ok.The second one, remember now I am a return customer, they again refused to allow me to order a silver-grey or maroon color. Cowboy had retired but I bought anyway. Service, on the rare occasions that I needed it, was from good to excellent.I am now in the market for a Suburban/Yukon type vehicle. I dont think Id run into the same color issue on it that I had with the vans but my annoyance lasted almost 10 years. This time I am starting my shopping at Hilltop in Richmond. I am not opposed to buying from them but they lost the goodwill Cowboy brought them.

Comment: The people at Lehmers are very nice that you really dont feel like it is a car dealership. Their price for my 2013 car was below book and since they didnt have the wind shield for my cars sunroof (like on my Grand Prix), they gave me a full tank of gas.Bob was very knowledgeable about my vehicle and I was very impressed. Would recommend him highly in sales.Would highly recommend talking to Tom in service, again nice people and helpful.

Comment: I recently had the pleasure of meeting Tom in the service dept. While I was there for a warranty issue, he made me feel welcome and comfortable that the problem would be taken care of and the service technicians did just that. I could easily go to an outside vendor for the simple things but see no need. Lehmers will get my continued business by choice. If you want to experience great service, go see Tom!

Comment: The people at Lehmers are great they fixed the problem with my car gave me a ride home while they were doing it and sent a car for me when the repairs were done. It was easy and painless. I didnt even have to call ahead of time just drove it in and they took care of the rest.

Comment: I leased a new car here. Had a great overall experience. Getting a black car I am worried about keeping it clean, but the sales guy said just bring it by and well run it through the wash for you. I havent done it yet but if I lived any closer I would take him up on that offer!
