DO NOT LIKE how close the cash register is placed. You have servers right there trying to fulfill orders, customers lined up to pay, and other patrons trying to get through to get to the bathroom! Make that space a booth and move the register by the door. Its not gonna kill someone to walk the to go orders 30 further. But it might with all those people packed together. Food was good as expected as well as friendly service.
We came to this area 6 months ago and it was ok and I would have given it a 5 for wait staff service and a 4 for food. Now and over the last 2 months I give it a 6 for wait staff and a 1 for food.The food has gone down hill and the cooks and owners could care less. The only thing you can order that is not over cooked or under cooked is the soup, chili, and plain hot dog. Eggs over cooked, steak supposed to be rare, cooked to a crisp and could not chew, etc., etc., etc., and, etc! Wait staff asks if they can remake but I’m afraid a cook that screws this much stuff up gets a lot of orders back. That makes them angry and I would fear “food retribution”!Kudos for the wait staff, I’m sure they return a lot of orders or hear the complaints and they handle it well. They like everyone, always have help wanted signs, but they need to fire more cooks and the owners need to spend time training them.We noticed that ingredients like Turkey on the Turkey and Club Sandwiches went from real sliced Turkey to “Turkey Bologna Loaf”! A shift like others to cut costs! Time to go elsewhere in search of acceptable food quality and cooks that can cook, strike off the list. Others deserve the business more. We should only support businesses that care in these tougher times!
Our family loves our local Leo’s. Great food , friendly service. Owner is great and has been there now around 20 years. Good vegetarian and vegan selection.
Great food! I was a bit worried about pricing because of the reviews I had read... About the same as Huddle House, IHOP or waffle House and the food was delicious.

Leos is always the same. Never terrible but never really great. Seems to be a popular place though. But for some reason theres always something wrong with the order. I have tried multiple locations. Always average at best

Not from the area live 400 miles away was a pleasant experience and menu surprised me thought it as going to be just a hotdog joint but they had a variety including numerous greek dishes which was nice seeing that my wife is Greek she also enjoyed it. Next time out visiting my son definitely going to stop agian.

I love dining here or do carry out. I usually dont have a problem but they gave me the wrong dressing for my salad had to go back up there and still got the wrong dressing. Other then that I love eating here

The menu has not been shortened like many restaurants have done during Covid and for that I thank you! Such a variety on the menu it is hard to choose from. This location via one of my favorites due to quick service, good service and delicious food.
Do not accept Doordash orders from this store. They are by far the slowest location around and get little chuckles when you ask if the order is almost ready. The shorter older dark haired lady working delivery is extremely rude. Wont be coming here again

Very pleasantly surprised!We went there for breakfast Sunday morning after trying two other restaurants. One was packed - no parking. The other had gone out of business. To me, this was our last resort.It was greattttt! Although it was very busy (that should have told me something), the service was excellent. We got our food very quickly and we both were quite satisfied. I ordered a gyro omelette and my husband ordered eggs and bacon. We both got the home fries.I told my husband that Leos was now our new go to place. Great job to the Leos Coney Island team!
Walked in an it was pouring rain with my husband and kids. The waitress comes flying up to us and tells us to leave because they have nowhere to seat us or serve us. This was the nice way of saying it. Will not be back. Rude!
Always consistent. Just what you would expect from a Coney Island restaurant but this one always seems to get it right! Salads are fresh and crispy with no limp or discolored lettuce, sure its only head lettuce ( not romaine or wild greens), but its always been fresh! Breakfast anytime (even biscuits and gravy) always tastes fresh even if its an hour before closing (do they make it to order?) Service is quick as well, even Sunday mornings and during dinner rush. Great place for simple fare at reasonable prices!

I have been coming to this exact Leos Coney Island for over 11 years. I have loved the food and Service all along. Today I sopped in around 2:00 p.m. and was not disappointed in the food at all. Our server, Mary was pleaseant and friendly! I ordered from be the specials menu, cabbage rolls with side salad and Strawberry ice cream for dessert. I could not finish the food was so delicious!!! Thanks for the wonderful Menu and staff. However the Management needs to take better care of the Womens restroom. Ugh, glad I used it after my meal. Door stall locks not working, no purse hook, soap dispenser empty and the paper towels were not in the dispenser. Overall I feel that this Leos is a great deal and the menu extensive. Great service too!!

This is the best Leos of them all. I live near one and work near another but I wont go to either of those locations.Natalie is the best waitress ever. Shes happy, personable and very good at her job. Shes very attentive to her tables no matter how busy they are. Most of the waitresses are friendly.I take issue with a few other waitresses though, some are unpleasant and inattentive no matter when you go.One a few occasions, I had a waitress that completely ignored us after she brought the food. Luckily one of the better waitresses checked in on us and got us refills on drinks and such.One waitress, funnily enough named Erin, is very nice but unfortunately Ive never had her get an order right. Chalking it up to maybe her being new.

Stopped their for a business meeting at 6:00 AM 8/7/2019. I saw a mouse scurrying under the booth we sat in. So, of course eating was out of the question. The floor was nasty dirty. The windows were dirty. The ceiling was dirty. We didnt eat breakfast and couldnt wait to leave. I use to frequent this place many years ago. What a shame! On the bright side, our server was great.
Leos is a nice place to get food. Its fast, has a nice atmosphere and a very friendly staff. My favorite server would be joslyn, shes so sweet and always on top of things and does an all around good job. She and all the ladies there are always smiling and constantly reminding of you picked the right place to eat. The cooks are great as a team and they get things done fast and make it fresh.
Have been coming to this location for years and always great food, but the place needs a good cleaning and a make over from the ceilings to the walls and the bathroom need some help. Really needs some TLC.
While the place was clean and smelled of tasty food I have to say I was very disappointed. The quality and quantity of food was much less then expected for the price by a long shot. The staff did nothing but stand around complaining about changes and how it was going to mean they had to do more work. All and all I will not be returning to this restaurant. 4 trips in 2 months all bad.

I stopped here at the Wal Mart in lieu of my early morning delivery in the area. I was starving so I decided to try this place out and wasnt disappointed! I ordered the Michigan Salad with a side of hummus and every bite was excellent. The service was great, the bright decor was inviting, and the bathroom was clean. Im not sure when Ill be back in the area but Ill certainly stop by again if so!

The food was good, but I noticed the team of servers were absolutely incredible! The entire waiting staff provided spectacular service to other areas not just their own. When they saw a need someone took care of it wherever it was.
My entire work crew eat year at least once a week typically i get a hamburger of some sort and side and i must say the food is always fresh fast and filling!! the meals are more than fair for the price and we have a pretty large construction crew the staff has always been nice prompt friendly and helpful. Must of our crew doesnt speak English so for them to actually take a little extra time to help some of them out is greatly appreciated!!! I am sure to bring more people and recommend people to eat here

I call this excellent restaurant every couple of days as I enjoy the special air that is characterizes this restaurant. The staff is very helpful and skilfull. The service is absolutely rapid. Most important, the food they serve is highly distinguished. I came more than once and I was always joyful. The rate is reasobable. I recommend this restaurant to to all.
I’m visiting family here in Michigan, and stopped in here to eat , great coney dogs and onion rings, pumpkin pie is delicious. But most of all Jody our waitress was the BEST ever! I highly recommend this place and ask for Jody as server!! ❤️❤️
A good place for a quick lunch with a 3 year old (we go there pretty regularly). The server we had today was very friendly and engaging. Most of the food is okay, but I really like the Gyros.
Been ordering from here for about 3 years now. Almost every pick up order I have placed at this establishment has not gone well. They always forget an order of fries with my meal. As well as ranch. Even when I emphasize to the staff to please not forget my fries or my ranch because this is a reoccuring issue....they are still forgotten when I receive my order. Must check bag for entire order before leaving this establishment every single time. Dining in is just as much of a hassle, always have to ask for ranch more then once, food is either under cooked, over cooked or not made how it was ordered. Would not recommend this place to anyone after 3 years of bad service.

Ive always liked Leos! There are several choices of Coney islands in the Detroit area and in the suburbs, including National Coney Island. Leos, however, has a more interesting menu, in my opinion. Their coney dogs are great, as are the chicken finger pitas. If you really want a treat, try the chili cheese fries. Yum yum yum.

Service was horrible waited 15 mins for a box waitress was just standing counting her tips my granddaughter had to go up and ask then when paying my bill she rounded my change out on my debit when I said not too. Even then my waitress did not respond to me will go to the Novi one much better all the way around...
I usually dont complain..over priced..the hash browns taste like plastic..sausages where hard and dry. Basically i ate day old food.

My friend and I eat here twice a week before our drumming class. They are always fast and friendly and you cant beat the prices! My fav are the coney dogs but the whole menu is good, just about!

A welcome surprise. While traveling to St. Ignace we stopped in. We like to eat locally while traveling. Saw a sign on the highway for Leos Coney Island Dogs so we went. To our amazement it was a Greek style diner serving bfast all day, Coney dogs, Leos Cheeseburger, and a host of selections on their 6 page menu. The Sagnaki was delicious. A definite treat with large portions!

This is a great place to go to have an inexpensive meal. Theyve got great lunch specials and a very diverse regular menu. My family and I normally eat here on Sunday afternoons after church or weeknights when were all to tired to cook dinner. Go here!

This has to be the Best Leos. Took my wife to breakfast on mothers day here. Only one booth available, sat down, server took took our drink and food order. Four mins later our food was served. Every mothers received a rose. Our server made our refill to go. Fast, friendly, fair prices, and awesome food.Keep up the great service.P.S. they just served my food faster then I wrote this reveiw.
Although Leos Coney Island is my favorite food chain, I have never been impressed with this location. It one time took the waitress 45 mintues to greet my hubby and I when there was only one or two other couples in the restaurant. I hope their customer service has improved since then, but Id drive out of my way to go to a different Leos to avoid this one.

This place is awesome, this owner gives so much to the local economy. Supports sports, clubs you name it he gives back more than any business I know. He understands community.
Everything about this place was five star except for one minor detail. None of the flavors from the mustard, onions, or chili paired well with the dog and bun. The dog itself and the bun tasted good. Next time I may get it plain.

Food was not great quality and the waitress not very friendly and criticized one of us for ordering only a milkshake. Clams were overcooked, the chicken sandwich tasted like those value box chicken patties from save a lot.
Had to return over cooked spaghetti with red water sauce. Then asked for a plain cheeseburger instead. They said they were both there same price. So I waited confused and then asked how it was the same price? The waitress said the fries were two dollars more. When I said I didnt order fries the waitress walked away.
Second visit at this location. Fast, friendly service. Ordered breakfast and then some Coneys to go. I would have given 5 stars, but both my husband and I found the chili on the Coneys very spicy, compared to the usual Leos chili. Consistently is a plus.

Ordered a grilled cheese and WELL DONE fries and I get them and they are very far from well done. They are actually extremely soggy to the point I am wasting my money and throwing them in the garbage. Maybe if I werent a carry out they would actually care about my order. I will take my business elsewhere from now on.Oh, & I called to let them know how my food was and all the girl that answered could say was, okay I will let the cook know because I told her I couldnt come right back up to get another order. Normally wouldnt they want to make the order right? or say okay sorry about that I will let them know, would you like a order of fries on us next time? NOPE. didnt say a damn thing other than she would tell the cook.I will start getting the same exact order from Kensington Grille instead of this Leos.
The food was as expected, but the womens rest room was in bad repair and was a bit of a turn off. A sink was actually broken and one toilet was out of service while the other was interestly on the base crooked. Yes I know.... weird.

Overall experience was good. Only complaint, Asian veg. blend was cold and tasteless. Not very appealing. I would have preferred the steamed green beans as shown on the menu.
The place is in need of improvements. Dirty ceiling, torn shades. Cashier has no clue on giving a senior discount. Gave 1 percent instead of 10. Waitresses where fast and friendly on the up side . Also noticed, no sprinkler system either.
I try to stop here whenever Im in the area. The selection of food is plentiful, the staff are always friendly, and when there is a line waiting for a table, you know its a good place to be.
I go here for lunch frequently. They tried to change the dressing on my favorite Chicken Ceaser Wrap but after complaining, they went back to the better dressing. THANK YOU! For some reason they use a better quality pita bread then the other Leos I visited. #1

Do NOT use this location for catering. I was quoted $225 for 150 wings and a quart of ranch. The Novi Leos (same chicken wings) quoted me 160 wings and quart of ranch for $161.
They deserve less. They never answer their phones and take forever for take out orders. I waited a half hour and was skipped twice. This place should be closed for good.

Go there at 6:30 am on a Monday lights on people working and doors locked waitress steps out from back looks at me and goes back to what she is doing . If you have a sign that says open at 6:00 am and you cant open up you need to change the sign to we will open when we feel like it . You just lost a good customer i wont be back

It was dirty food wasnt Good the bathrooms was real dirty leaking water on the floors and were all wet Their Were dirty paper towels all over the bathroom. the tables were dirty when we sat down and the food didnt taste the same. Probably wont go back

Love having Penny wait on us. Once she sees us she is getting our rootbeer, chicken noodles soup and salad right to our table!

2022-06-11Had a great waitress with some great food. The food was ready quickly and the waitress was very kind and friendly. I would definitely eat here again. Wish I could give her her props but I didnt catch the name.

2022-05-22Fellow server here of 8 years… food was mediocre even though they that got it out to us in under 10 minutes. We waited 10 minutes before someone came and greeted us and that was after I personally went up to someone telling them we haven’t been greeted yet. The waitress didn’t even check to see if we wanted anything else or how things were until she started taking plates off of our table. I understand as a server how short staffed some places are…however, when I see 2 waitstaffs chatting with the to go person as multiple tables have walked in, I find it unprofessional.

2022-07-08What can you say? Its a Coney resturant. This location is fast, and friendly. At the moment of this review, the prices are still not in clown world. So extra points for that. I am sure it was not easy to survive covid, so they will continue to get my business. Support your local businesses!

2022-06-21This place should be shut down I went there with my family five kids in my wife ordered water for everybody and while we waited to order our food I noticed my children running into the bathroom then my wife took a drink of her water and spit it back in the cup and said that it tasted like chemicals...I informed the waitress of there being something wrong with the water for her to respond with yeah weve heard some complaints already.That was the wrong answer for me so I had my family get up and we left. If you knew there was something wrong with the water why are you serving to us

2020-11-07This has to be the best location for this great chain. the food prep here is always great — the salads are made fresh and fast. the staff here is the finest of the leo’s restaurants... always fast, accurate and friendly.i drive past three other leo’s locations to dine at this one.

2021-12-04Been coming here a long time but lately the food quality is poor. To add insult to injury, the prices have gone crazy even though the food quality is low. If you have money to burn, the wait staff is amazing! Otherwise avoid this location until they get some new cooks and higher quality ingredients.
