Comment: Good choice for simple tire service.I needed to replace the broken tire with a new one. The tires and the rim were already in the trunk. So no need to hang the car. $35 for the labor. It is not easy to strip off the tire from the rim, as well as recycling the old tire. Thank you, Gerrit, who served me nicely.

Comment: I went to the store on Saturday a few minutes before closing time because one of the tires on my rental car had very low pressure. The staff there did not mind that I showed up right before they were closing. They were very eager to help me. One of the gentlemen there found that it was a nail in the sidewall so the tire could not be patched. But I had to get the rental car company to authorize the payment to replace the tire. But I had forgot to extend my rental contract which was already past due one day. And the car was due back for service so they rental company wouldnt extend it. They only offered to have the car towed for me but I had to pay the toll charge. Long story short, I asked the guys at Les Schwab to put the spare tire on. And they did that. All this time they waited for me while i was on the phone with the rental car company and it was way past their closing time by abut 40 minutes and on a weekend too. They did not complain one bit. They happily changed my spare tire for me to make sure that I could safely drive the car. The guys at this Les Schwab location are super nice gentlemen. Their service was exceptional and their kindness much appreciated.

Comment: Brought my car in for a warranty claim on a tire with the tread separating that had 22k miles on it. The warranty I bought was for 40k when I had the tires done at Les Schwab in San Carlos, but the manager rejected the warranty saying that it was something I hit on the road. Terrible customer service, from someone that had been using the Les Schwab in San Carlos (which recently closed) for tire service for over 10 years. I’m done with Les Schwab.

Comment: Had a flat tire in Fremont and Les Schwab tires was the closest place since the tire was deflating rapidly. They were closing within an hour but Ryan helped me out as quick. It was fast and good work by the team. Thanks to Jose for his quick work in the fix. Assumed it will cost me a minimum of 20$ but the complimentary flat tire repair was a pleasant surprise. Will revisit for future tire services.

Comment: Did an upgrade to my suspension, tires, and brakes on my pick up at the start of 2023 at a Les Schwab in American Fork, UT. Everything has been great. I started having issues with a weird electrical problem. Talked to a dozen different auto parts or mechanics. They either wanted to charge me 300$ to diagnose or up to 600$ to throw parts at it. One call in and a stop by in the middle of working to this les schwab and I now have the best way to solve the problem. The person on the phone was helpful and easy to talk to, Ryan at the front checked me in quickly, they had a place to sit to do my work while they took a look and Randy came through with the help I needed. Thank you for doing what you could and taking the time to give me real help. 10 star service

They try to sale you a bad tires and said it warranty but every time you come back under warranty they charge you more money. When you got flat tires on left passenger tire, they do it on Driver side???? it s a joke.Took my car there to change 2 tires and brake a couple of months ago. Took me 2 days be cause they didnt have parts. Then later, they send me a letter, said it those tires the gave me were recalled, they ask me bring back the car then they replaced it with 2 cheap Hankook tires not even side, since then you problems all the time. I come back to them a couple of time for services Flat tires. (2 of the continental tires I change it at America tires before still working good). Yesterday, Mar 15, 2023 I came again for Flat Tire services.Manager said it had a nail on it???? It took me more than 3hrs, because the technician do it on the wrong tire. Its Rear passenger tires but they do it on Driver side. After 1 night, the next day my car have the same problem even worse, I came back on the Mar 16, 2023. This time they said it s leak on the side an the tire is under warranty but they ask me to pay more 180 something to replace it????? After I left the shop my car cannot go even 20miles to Costco Tiresservices Center.This is horrible and unprofessional service here. For your safety concerns Do not bring the car there for there services. By the way. This is a location at 36761 Fremont Blvd, Fremont, Ca 94536.

Comment: I would avoid this place for Wheel balancing and Alignment. They screwed up my Volvos wheel alignment in the first attempt to the extent which if i let go of my steering it was pulling very severely to the left. I took it back to get it corrected but that didnt help fully eventually tires started to get worn incorrectly so i had to pay 200$ for volvo service to fix that. I would never suggest anyone to go to this place, the gross negligence of this place is unbelivable.

Comment: I took my 2003 Acura CL for an alignment after I replaced all steering and suspension components. The car has adjustable rods in the rear that I specifically put on to give the tech more alignment characteristics than Acura offers in stock form. They got the alignment done in 45 minutes, but when I saw the alignment sheet that is printed out I noticed that the drivers side rear wheel was way out of specification. I brought this to the employees attention and he brought the alignment guy up to talk to me. He said that the alignment couldnt be made to bring it into spec. I explained that the rods were adjustable in length and the sleeves could be turned to increase/decrease camber, caster, and toe. They were kind enough to put it back on the alignment rack, but I had to wait another hour and the results were perfect the second time. I think that there was a breakdown in communication between the service writer who knew of these rods and the alignment guy. Other than spending another hour waiting all was good. The shop has very nice people and I will use them in the future. I am taking one point off and rating a 4 as if I wasnt a mechanic, the car would have worn that tire out. The report is easy to read and correct specs are green and out-of-spec adjustments are flagged red. So, when you pick up your car, just make sure that everything is green on the after alignment section of the report.

I called other tire centers nearby and they said they could fix the leak but it would take all day before my car would be ready. Called Les Schwab and the guy stated I could come in right away and my tire would be fixed within 20-30 minutes. When I arrived and asked how much it would cost, I was told it was free - and no I didnt get my tires from here - although maybe I should had. My tire was fixed within 30 minutes and they even filled up my other tires since they were low. Great service and I will be back again!

Comment: Went in for the free tire rotation that comes with purchasing tires there. Watched them pull the van into the bay, but never lift it up, never heard them removing or installing wheel nuts. Few minutes later they back it out and it was “ready”. I have wear on the passenger side from parking against the curb on the street and it’s still on my passenger side. Confronted the tech about it outside and all he said “we rotated them”.

Comment: I had my brake pads check this location since Stockton location did a lousy job. I guess the technician didn’t really check my brake pads good in the back. All they said was it’s too dusty and they just cleaned it, but I guess they didn’t really look at it well that the brake pads had chipped, which my brake makes loud squeaky sounds. I wouldn’t recommend this location.Thanks to San Carlos location, they were able to fix the problem for me.

Comment: My tire light for low PSI was on & on Sunday, 6/19/22, I went to Midas (only because they were open on Sundays) and they told me multiple times there was nothing wrong with my tire & it just needed air. I stated I thought there must be a leak or something in the tire because if how fast it ran out of air but they kept telling me there was nothing wrong.The next morning, today 6/20/22, my tire light was on again & clear as day, there was a nail in my tire. I was on my way into work but had to call out to try and fix what I thought had been fixed the day before. These guys were great, communicated well, listened when I said something was wrong & patched up my flat for free.I didn’t have an appointment because I thought I had resolved the issues the day before, but the gentlemen at Les Schwab were able to fit me in right when they opened at 8:00AM. They even let me know the status of other items they checked on my car while servicing it & gave me a quote to look over & did not pressure me into getting anything done that I couldn’t do at that moment.

With only an hour left before closing I took the two rims off my trailer and brought them to Les Schwab. They had the new tires in stock and mounted them for me on the spot. They gave me a quote for a low battery on a sensor. It was a free tire check. They determined it to be a low spare tire and I would have never considered it had sensors on them also! No charge and out within an hour. Thank you for the service. Also purchase my tires from here. I use to be a Big O customer for years and have purchased over 8 sets of tires from them. However, I had a terrible experience at Big O in Newark, Ca and will never go back again.

I was told in other places I could have a new tire in 2-5 days after having a nail in one of my tires. I gave this place a call and I had the pleasure of speaking with Ryan. They had four of my tires in stock and it was an easy decision to head to Fremont to have my tire replaced. The nail was located towards the outer side of the tire and in most cases this means the tire is not reparable. Magically Ryan and his crew managed to repair the tire!!! I went there expecting to spend hundreds of dollars on a new tire. By the time everything was said and done I paid $0!!!! The repair was complimentary. Tires Les Scwab just got themselves a new loyal customer. I now have them on speed dial and I will definitely come back here next time I have problems with my tires. When I came back, they told me that my car was done. I was surprised but I was also worried. My concern was that they didnt consult with me regarding the options and how much it was going to cost me. The technician he told me that he found a drill bit in the tire and he patched it up. Also, here wasnt going to charge me because it was a minor fix (he did tell me that he cant guarantee to offer free services in the future). I was blown away.To put this into perspective, Ive had several flat tires in the past. Every tire store I went to never even bothered to check the tire. The just sold me new tires. I was expecting to spend at least $200 but I walked out without spending a penny.

Comment: Les Schwab in Lodi Ca is filled with phonies. They seem nice to your face, then talk crap about how much of a hassle youve been in the shop. Came In to get an alignment on my f150, they damaged the rubber boot just above my toe bar, made me feel like a jerky for asking them to replace what they had damaged. Waited 2 weeks for a part that the manager said was just a 3 dollar boot. I had to call, and make appearances at the shop and to the manager in the back just to make sure they didnt blow me off completely. I was standing there the day the boot was relieved and watched as the manager threw the boot at the employee who damaged the first one as if he was saying, fix this so this kid is out of my hair. I dont appreciate the fact that Ive been treated as a burden, an inconvenience, and how they think I cant read body language amongst the shop employees. I am here now doing my 3rd alignment since my truck has pulled hard to the left ever since I brought it in, and I feel uncomfortable, like everyone wants me out of here. I do not recommend this place for people who truly care about their vehicle. I am very disappointed with the managers who run this shop because if you cause them an issue, the treat you like an issue and that is never going to give a paying customers a good experience. I came here because you are a well respected tired place, you have decent prices for almost everything, and have been extremely patient with all the trouble Ive delt with. Honestly Im really angry about this whole thing because if I were a big old tuff dude, and not a skinny white kid, I feel like I would have been better taken care of.

Comment: They fixed a puncture in my tire for free. No company has ever done something like that for free. Also, the regular price is only $14. Everyother place has charged $20-25 for a punctured tire :)

Comment: After service from my dealership that warned me one of the tires got a nail on the side, I went to les schwab for a check up. A nice gentlemen greeted me, and took a quick look from the outside saw no issues. He asked me if I have time for him to take a closer look up for free. I said yes, and was surprised to see the issue that my dealership insisted my to change at least two tires DOES NOT EXIST. The mechanic is very nice even though I didnt end up paying anything this time. Ill definitely go back if my tire pressure light went on next time, or needing to change the tires.

Comment: These guys have never tried to upsell me or overcharge me. If they can fix a tire for a few bucks, theyll do it--unlike the dealership who would try to sell me a few grand worth of brand new tires. Theyve earned my trust.

Comment: Came in with a cranky one year old and a popped tire. They were very nice and when they werent helping people, they would help distract and entertain her. I used my phone to do some price matching when I had to replace the tire... Turns out this is the best deal around anyways!

Comment: I was getting my car ready for a car show when I noticed something in the tread of my tire. I thought it was just something small stuck in the tread. When I went to flick it out, it turned out to be a nail and along with the nail, there went the air in the tire. It was 5:30 on Friday night and I was in a panic. The guys from Les Schwab came by, plugged the tire and pumped it up enough that I could drive to the shop, and fixed my tire in about 12 min. at 6:15 on a Friday night! And they were SO nice, even though I know they wanted to go home after a long day! I will be telling everyone what great, extra mile service I got at Les Schwab on Fremont Blvd.
