They werent pushy or creepy, easy to contract with, secure stationing, of an awkwardly large 1953 dream home trailer that definitely was showing wear . Insurance ? No problem super affordable, I love this place . Give these stars some gold . James and his associate really were the calm in the storm after negotiating this amazing trailer out of a tight location and down the mountain, I found this Oasis on the internet and they truely made the day end on a winning note ! Thanks guys !! You even made old crabby pants, my ex, a cheery and even smoothie ride back to the house. Nice to know SOME BUSINESSES understand CUSTOMER SERVICES .

Comment: It’s clean, much of the business side can be handled online. It was easy to sign up and the rates looked good. But 3-4 months in, they jacked my rate up without warning. Then the second gate broke and it has been for months now. Today, after processing my payment on my card for a year, suddenly they can’t anymore. Nothing on the card has changed, but Life Storage can’t figure it out. When I had to show proof of insurance again or have my unit cancelled, the office staff never confirmed receipt. I’m not sure if it’s this location, or all Life Storages, but these guys are shady with their rate bait-and-switch. Pick another company. I’ve had units off and on over the years various places…but I’ve never had this lack of communication and unprofessional behavior.

Comment: We had had a very long day and needed to get everything moved into storage that evening nobody was at the office when we got there to get our storage unit but when Angela returned she was extremely nice cannot say enough about the professionalism that she took with us and getting our storage unit. I even received a call from her manager Jillian who wanted to make sure that I was taken care of properly and received all of the notifications that I needed in order to access our unit. live storage is a excellent place to store your belongings the staff are wonderful and I really can’t thank Angela enough for how kind she was even after I was kind of curt with her.

Comment: I am a long time customer and was disappointed that Life Storage in Elk Grove is eliminating many of the trailer parking spots to build storage units, but I guess that is a corporate decision. With that said Daniel the Area Mgr. came to the rescue. He worked with Robby in the front office and they were able to accommodate my trailer with another parking spot and keep me as a happy customer. There are other RV storage businesses in the area but this Life Storage is convenient for me and a very nice facility. I like it that a Mgr. like Daniel is able (and willing) to make a decision without having to check with someone in the corp. office. Thanks Martin

Comment: Had a unit here at storage solutions for several months. Your belongings are locked down tighter than Guantanamo bay. So tight they wouldnt even allow two vehicles carrying my furniture through the gate. We were forced to unload one truck and then exit then switch trucks and re enter with a second truck while everyone who was helping had to sit outside in their vehicles as only one vehicle is allowed in. Further more the blonde lady at the front desk was rude, extremely incompetent and wanted to argue over everything from the ridiculous vehicle access restrictions to the first month not being free as advertised to threatening to lock us in if we werent out by 9pm (lol good luck with that one). I got the impression these people were on some sort of drugs and were not thinking clearly or fairly at all. I didnt have much choice as i had two trucks full of furniture and needed somewhere to store my stuff that day. For several months i just kept quiet and dealt with their circus act before i finally had enough and decided to rent another truck and move my belongings to a more reputable 24hr access facilty. I would not and could not recommend this business to anyone unless you have absolutely no where else to go. I really hope whoever owns this business knows their poor management and front desk staff have cost them a customer as well as several others as my friends switched storage facilities for some of the same reasons. Good riddance.

Comment: I rented a unit for 30 days, had my belongings in the unit for only two weeks because my house was ready for move-in. When we started moving our things into the U-Haul, ROACHES were crawling on my boxes. I didnt move in with roaches so I know darn well they didnt come from me. Now my BRAND NEW home is roach infested. Pegasus Pest control has been out to my house to get rid of them. I reported the roaches to the company and their response was we have pest control. THEN, Oct 28 was the day I needed to be officially moved out (I was already moved out but left the lock on) I called Tara and told her that I didnt think I would make it to the office before they closed (6 PM) to remove my lock and was there anything they could do? She offered to charge me $25 for a lock cut. She closed out my unit and it seemed like it was no big deal. 11/1 She contacts me and say that upper management is requiring me to remove the lock myself and they would not cut it off - even though Tara already told me everything would be fine. I came right in and removed the lock. I requested my $25 to be refunded and she refused to refund me. I asked for the managers contact info, she said no. I demanded that she call him. She called and I was told by Tara that he said he would refund my money and it would take a few weeks. Today, 11/2 Tara calls me and says they in fact will NOT refund my money and that the $25 Is going to be used for rent from 10/29 to 11/2. She again refused to let me speak with management or give me their contact info. I think this is outrageous and very, very crooked business. I have reported them to the BBB.

Comment: Wow...........really really love this facility. We were searching for storage in Elk Grove and we settled on this place because of Carmella and Andi. Both are so nice and very pleasant. The storage unit shown to us was just perfect for what we needed it and the price was great. Its so refreshing to have people give you customer service and really appreciate you.
