I had a storage unit with them from sometime in 2022 until today in 2023, and every single step of the way they were kind, professional, and extremely helpful. From the time I first signed up to move out day, I was helped with a smile and compassion. Kathy is a always a pleasure to talk to and every worker there does just an amazing job at what they do. Theyre knowledgable, understanding, and quick to get you the help you need every time. :)Also - saw another review here saying theyd missed their payment and was hit with 100+ dollars in late fees, but, speaking from experience as someone who had to choose pay rent or pay for the unit on the 1st MULTIPLE times, I never once was charged more than $20 for a late fee and sometimes I couldnt pay until the 15th when I got paid again. They also try to give you at least a few calls after the 3rs of the month letting you know your account hasnt been paid. Maybe theres a difference for larger units, but if there isnt, dont let that one review scare ya. These guys do a great job! Life happens and they never once made me feel bad for it. ❤️

Comment: Best bang for your buck in north county san diego!Surprisingly this is one of the only places with A/C controlled spaces. Prices are great! For example two 10x10 units is about $50 cheaper a month than one 10×20 unit somewhere else that is outdoors.Me personally i got two 10x10s that are basically next to each other and they also have military discounts.Lastly, the security is top notch with new fencing, cameras outside and inside. The building does get locked down at 9pm so thats triple security this place has (outside perimeter fence, the building, and then your lock on your unit).Mrs. Kathy Robusto is amazing and goes above and beyond to make it happen! Very friendly, informative, and gives it to you straight.10 out of 10 highly recommend!!!!

Until now, Lighthouse had some generous move in specials and signing up was super quick(about 10 min). Kathy was resourceful and quick. She was all smiles and went over the contract line-by-line. Comment: So far, so good. Lonna was very helpful and knowledgeable. We asked about the rent increases that typically happen with these places. She was up front i letting us know that the rent typically increases after the 6th month, and thats 10-15%.Were using the inside units. They look and smell clean. Theyre comprised of mainly metal and are temperature controlled, so Im hoping that will alleviate any issues with molding, like weve had in the past with other companies. It felt really cool and dry inside. Theres a lift inside that you can load your items on, and a few short flights of steps to access the units. Im crossing my fingers that this will be a pleasant experience long term.

Comment: Updated Management Experience: LeeAnn is the newest manager at Oceanside Light House Storage. I can say after being at this facility for years that LeeAnn is professional, upfront and attentive, I have changed and added serval spots to my account over the years. I have worked with all the managers and employees over my time at this facility. Most are wonderful although of recent some have made it tough and unfortunately have made the experience here less desirable. The GREAT news is that the owners and upper management immediately discovered the problem in staff and addressed it. They brought LeeAnn in to manage, this change has completely brought Oceanside Light House Storage to an A+ facility again! With my added spots and spot changes I had a small issue arise. I was told by previous management and employees I was out of luck and just to move out if I didnt like it! LeeAnn didnt though, she listened to my issue stated what she was going to do and did it! The wonderful news is that within 30 min it was resolved. I must state that Oceanside Light House Storage is safe, secure, with a great and friendly staff once again! Not only are facilities clean on the inside of the gates but management has worked with the city of Oceanside to make sure all surrounding areas are clean and transient free. I would highly recommend this establishment for all your needs. I would like to personally thank all those involved that made the changes in management. With LeeAnn you can be assured that your expectations will be met and exceeded.Original Management Experience: Alex Agraphiotis is incredible, I stopped in to check on available spots and I had the pleasure of speaking with Alex she was very informative and let me know that nothing was available. However she took my number and said she would follow up if something came available and to my total surprise she did not only call me but made sure I was 100% setup and taken care of. The spot didnt work for what I had in mind but once again she stated she would call once something came available and she did and this was the perfect spot. The experience has been absolutely out of this world Alex is the best manager I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with and I can highly recommend this facility. Make sure you ask for Alex for the best experience she treats everyone as a friend and establishes personal relationships with all the tenants.

Comment: Signing up was great 5 years ago. The manager was really nice. But then it got horrible. They changed managers a lot and every one of them was extremely rude. Their emails to me where in jumbled English. I tried 5 different times to walk-in and every time, there was nobody in the office even though their business hours are posted on the door. I tried calling and nobody would answer the phone. They used to send out an email if you missed your payments and give you an auction date. This time I couldn’t afford my bill until Christmas and they auctioned all my things without telling me or notifying me of the lien. There’s always creepy people in their too. Go to a different facility.

Comment: The facility is well organized and clean. Staff was friendly and very helpful and efficient during the application process. The units and access to the facility is secure. Gate hours are great at 5 am to 9 PM. I would recommend this facility to most people as it is close to a major freeway. I believe I got the last 5 x 10 unit so the size of the units available for rent was limited to the larger units as smaller units were not available. Only complaint would be the bathrooms are kept locked at all times and a key is required to access it.

Comment: If I could I would give this place negative stars. I would not recommend it this to anybody. Someone broke into my storage unit and replaced the lock with their own, so who know how many times they went in there freely. When I contacted the manager and told them my key didnt work,Magen told me they changed it because of the flood that happened during the weekend. Two days later when I showed up the oceanside lighthouse Megan said that they DIDNT have a key in my file!! She gave me the Corporates phone number and they said to come the next day and the manager will cut the lock off for me. The next day there was no manager on site! I called Corporate they said the manager was doing a walk around the property, so I waited and I ended up walking around the property with my two daughters looking for managment, i didnt see anyone. I Called Corporate again and they said they would have the manager call me. So I waited for the call. I called Corporate AGAIN and they said there was no manager on site, that the manager quit the day before. I waited there for three hours with my two daughters,an 8yr old and 6 month baby. Corporate should told me there was no manager on site that day. Oceanside lighthouse storage is unprofessional,I honestly feel as if they are the ones who broke into my unit!! And to top it off I paid for that month and the next month and they didnt wanna refund me my money. I had my storage empty(well what was left of it ) on the 13th and the 10th is the last day to receive a refund. So I accepted that, but I asked about the next month that a paid for and they said because I did it online freely that it was pretty much a donation.I explained that i wasnt expecting to have my storage broken into so I was planning on staying the next month. And the items that were stolen from my unit are long gone and the insurance company wont pay for they things.READ THE INSURANCE POLICY CAREFULLY!!!

I will say that corporate office isnt the best and it makes it hard for the people in the office to give me a straight answer about my account or when things will get fixed but the folks that work here try really hard and are always nice to me. Its not a huge operation. If youre wanting big business this isnt it but for a small mom and pop operation it gets the job done. Not for high maintenance people. Good affordable and easy.

We were drawn to this location because they had an online deal your first 2 months (for the size of our unit), and the Manager, Alex, was very helpful to my wife over the phone with her questions without having seen the unit yet. The location is gated with security and the facility is very clean and well-maintained. Climate control was also a must for us, and our unit has always felt very comfortable during the heat of summer and the cold temperatures in winter. I recommend this storage facility to anyone as our belongings are very valuable to us, so you want them in the best place possible for security and condition.

We have recommened this place to our family and friends, when one of our friends showed up to look into a unit, to rent .Alex was in the office at the time she was very friendly, and conducting her self very professionally. She was able to meet their needs. My friend told me Alex must really love her job because she is well knowledged on these facility. I can tell you this place has improved 100% since she arrived, Ive seen her out pulling weeds and shoveling dirt out of a customers parking slot, that is going the extra mile for her customers. As far as the units here I have never had any trouble nor have I heard of anybody say anything bad. Now that Alex is doing a great job here its my turn I would like to invite you to come rent here, and you might even get a good discount.

Comment: Lighthouse Storage in Oceanside has been AMAZING! I moved to Oceanside, CA from Phoenix, AZ. And 18 months prior to Arizona, i moved from Atlanta, GA. The last 5 years has been a nightmare and cumbersome carrying around 14,000 lbs of household goods.. After strong recommendations from a family friend, I contacted Lighthouse Storage. The office managers were so gracious in assisting me. Not only did they meet with me immediately at their office, but they also took the time go over every detail and options that Lighthouse Storage offered. In our conversation, we briefly went over that all my relocations have been due to the United States Air Force. Upon Brandon hearing those “key words”, he let me know that Lighthouse Storage honors those of us who have served. Immediately, he asked to see my valid military ID and I was given a discount. (Not once did I need to “ask” if they offered military discount. To me this was not only refreshing, but it showed me they didn’t want to make a quick buck by omitting information for discounts)I have had my unit for the last 15 months. I have NEVER had any issues with either my storage unit and/or the great team at Lighthouse Storage. You feel safe being here. they are cheaper than the last place we where at and I even have a bigger unit. The only down fall I can find is no elevator for people to use to get upstairs but I think my age might have something with that getting up and down. I would recommend anyone who is looking for a storage company this is the place to be.

Over the past 16 years I have been well taken care by Stephanie, Alfonso, Bob and other manager before these three yes Ive been here a long time of as far as moving my parking stalls or moving my storage to new spots within the facility. The only reason I chose this spot as my location of storage and business now is due to the fact I used to run this lot when I was little kid when my grandma worked here before the current company took over.. I do appreciate all the help and considerations that the other managers and co-managers took in my behalf of helping me out through all those years just also like to show my appreciation for Brandon the current co-manager very awesome guy and very easy to get along with if you ever hear have a chance a speaking with him.
