Comment: After coming here every week for the past few weeks, I can say with 100% certainty that Lilly’s Tacos has THE BEST vegan tacos EVER!! And they are true vegan tacos with true vegan beans, fried with canola oil rather than lard!! Their soy chicken and soyrizo tacos are absolutely delicious, especially when combined with their incredible hot salsa. This is a family owned establishment and you can really feel it when you call them to put an order or go in to eat there. They are extremely kind people and very friendly. They will do their best to accommodate everyone. I love their food and will keep going back, especially for Taco Tuesday. Anyone who has never tried their taco and is in the area is absolutely missing out.

Comment: I was in the neighborhood with my daughter and wanted to try something new. Saw the reviews on this place so we decided to have lunch there. We liked it. We ordered the carnitas taco plate and combination chicken burrito. Good flavor for both. I asked my daughter if she would ever like to come here again and she said Definitely. Went home and told my wife about it. She wanted to try. Came back for dinner. Ordered the Chile Verde plate, quesadilla, and chicken enchiladas plate. Everything was good. My favorite was the Chile Verde. I asked my wife if she would ever like to come here again and she said Yes. In both visits the staff was friendly, the place was clean, and the prices were better than other places Ive been to in the area. I recommend.Its been a month or two since my initial post. Ive been back with my daughter for breakfast. She had the chorizo and egg breakfast burrito. I had the potato and chorizo breakfast burrito. These are now my favorite items on the menu. So very good.

Comment: As others have mentioned the owner has a really bad attitude and will not honor their mistakes. I had a big catering order and they shorted us on the ingredients for the burritos. All the guest of the event complained they didnt have any meat. I spoke with the staff there and they didnt have enough meat for all the burritos so they made some of them plain. that is not my fault or what I paid for, when we demanded a refund they said they will make them up for my next cattering order since I had another event coming up. When it was time to place the new order they did not want to honor the mistake they made. this is just some poor business practice. scammers at their best.

Comment: Got treated horribly by the owner. I hired her for $800.00 for a party and she came at 3pm two hours early and accused me of breaking the contract when that was not true. The contract was for 5:00pm not 3:00pm as she insisted. Because I didnt have the copy of the contract on hand she took advantage and left mad and upset. It put me in a bad situation and then I looked for the contract and I found it. I was right it was for 5:00pm as I indicated. She has an anger issue and should not accuse clients without any proof. I ended up giving her $100.00 extra on top of the $800.00 when she was accusing me of breaking the contract because I didnt want my party to go bad. So I paid $900.to a person with a bad attitude. Never will I hire them again. Her bad attitude put me in a bad situation throughout my party. They are not who they pretend to be nice.

His sisters, probably 15 or 16 did the cooking. And what fabulous cooks they were!Fast forward over 20 years, I was there recently, still great food and the kids are now adults but still working there. I ordered huevos rancheros, chilaquiles con huevo, and a chorizo breakfast burrito and my entire order was made incorrectly. Huevos rancheros had no tomato, onion, salsa, etc. Chilaquiles were missing the egg and had onions which I requested it not have. And lastly the chorizo egg burrito had no chorizo. How do you mess up on one of the main ingredients of the burrito. Never ordering again.

We met Lily herself, and she was so welcoming and excited to walk me through the new vegan options on the menu (her brother recently went plant based and helped to curate the options). I tried the vegan barbacoa and carnitas. I don’t remember which one was made of jackfruit.. but both were super yummy. She also mentioned that any items on the menu can be made vegan, including the cheese, so keep that in mind when ordering.

Comment: I went there once on and menudo was great but I ordered a coffee never got it..waited waited he got my order wrong he wasnt listening or should i say paying attention....its this one guy he doesnt put much interest in the customer the other brother he has personality ...see when you enjoy your work serving people is easy...but if you dont have it in you then your just better throwing the towel in . Its the truth...

Comment: I first started eating here when it was a tiny shack in the front of the parking lot on LaVerne Ave & Garey Ave. I was disappointed when they tore it down, but very excited when I saw a coming soon on the Garey & Kingsley location. I was a little worried that the food would be different since they now have two much larger locations but happy to report that it is delicious as ever.

Comment: Service is horrible I dont understand why it takes 45min for 3tacos, then I get my food and its carnitas instead of carne asada seriously I would rather just drive further out to the Pomona location where they know what their doing so my best advise is go to Pomona location!!!!

Comment: Great food and family run and operated. Best part is the food and recipes are like mom use to make. Big tip try the green chile plate or burrito you won,t be disappointed. Bit of a warning though the green chile maybe real hot some days and not so other days, but always tasty!
