Paul was able to expedite the cable and got the car done at the end of the day. I greatly appreciate his extra effort to get my car road ready. Comment: High prices for poor quality of work. The shop may be big and look nice, but it honestly doesn’t do great work. Thing will be charged & not fixed. Parts will be listed & sold as new, but will be used and will fail prematurely. If you purchase a used vehicle & ask for an inspection they will tell you to fix things that have a high price tag, but neglect things that really need replacing… do yourself a favor & go else where…Update !Victor is incorrect! He didn’t call me, I called him after I received my car back because the person who recommended him to me told me to convey my concerns. Upon the return of my car, I noticed I was charged for a new air filter as well as the labor to replace it, although the old air filter was still there and the cover panel still laying in my trunk. I was charged to repair an oil leak, and the next day, oil was still leaking. The reseal of my oil pan was a patch job at best and looked very messy. Two years after a new” catalytic converter was installed, my car failed smog, resulting in me having to replace it with a real new one. The converter he installed was a used one from 2015… Currently, my car is in a real mechanics shop having repairs done, and I was just informed the water pump wasnt replaced like I was told it was and charged for by Lions Automotive. Was that $300 refund really to my benefit when none of the work I paid for was done properly? The amount was a little over $2000, and nothing was ultimately done to my car. Truly shameful.

Comment: Brought my van in due to engine lights on dash. I had run a code check twice personally, once actually right before I brought the van in to confirm what the code was and research the possible issues associated with the code.First off, Lions Automotive shows up as a AAA approved repair shop which is suppose to offer members a 10% discount and repair warranties up to 24 months/24,000 miles. I asked about the AAA discount and they tell me they give the warranty but not the discount, which is against what the AAA website shows.I have to sign something that says that there is a ~$150 diagnostic fee if I do not get my van repaired there.I get a call telling later in the day that the code is not showing up and they need to charge me to try and recreate the code. I know the code was showing up before I brought the van in and I know I did not erase the code. I told them what the code was and they said the would check the couple areas that code is indicating there is an issue. I get a call back at the end of the day that they could not finish and would like the car over night.They tell me which part they believe needs to be replaced and I agree to have it replaced.I come to pick up my car to find out they did NOT remove the diagnostic fee by having the repair done there. They still charged me the diagnostic fee. They also charged me $220 for the part. I called around and the most expensive dealer price for a dealer part I found was $180. There is a NAPA auto shop down the street from the shop that had the Denso part that was installed on my van for $150. Car repair shops do not pay full retail for parts, they get discounts.I have no complaints about the quality of work done, but I do have issues with them charing a diagnostic fee when they said it would not be charged if I had repairs done there. I have an issue with the absorbent amount charged for the part and that they are still a AAA certified repair shop and cherry pick which benefits (no 10% discount) to offer their customers.

Comment: I am driving my car to Lake Tahoe in 2 wks. I heard sounds when driving and starting and stopping that suggested I had brake problems. So I took it to Lions. Sure glad I did. They did an inspection and found that I not only had front brake problems, as suspected, but also part of the noise was coming from the rear wheel bearings, which were going bad. On top of that they found a nail in one of the rear tires. All that was taken care of. If I hadnt taken it to Lions, I am sure I would had a vehicle brake down somewhere in the San Joaquin Valley.

After waiting over 3.5 hours for the dealership to perform scheduled warranty maintenance on my new Jeep which should have taken a half hour at the most, I was told they could not complete the job because they didn’t have the filter in stock. I was very upset because they should have told me that in the first place and not wasted all my time. So I took my Jeep to Lions Automotive and Victor was able to complete the job that the dealership was not able to do. I was totally satisfied with their service, and I would not hesitate to recommend Lions Automotive to anyone who is in need of automotive maintenance or repairs.

Everything is explained so you can really understand the job being done. Office staff is professional, polite and helpful. Mechanics are friendly, professional and BUSY. Customer service is the highest. Diagnosis is always clear and information update in anticipation of any needed future service is communicated. Lion’s is great for repairs (my AC replacement, taillight repair) as well as regular maintenance (oil change, etc.). They are always busy but their garage and wait area is small but CLEAN. They are worth the wait. Recommend!!

We had a radiator and hoses replaced, and so far its been a good experience. Victor is the best and takes good care of his customers. I have been holding off getting my car serviced because of the Covid-19 pandemic, so I was very glad when I could finally take my car in for service. As always, they took great care of me and were able to get my car back to me as scheduled. So, if you are looking for a place to take your car, please give Lion’s a call. They aren’t the cheapest guys in town, just the best and they stand behind the work they do. END OF NEW POST These guys are the best! They stand behind their work without give the customer a lot of grief if there are any problems with anything they have done. Their shop is always clean and well maintained (including their designer bathroom and when was the last time you went to a mechanic shop with a clean, designer quality bathroom).The best thing I can say about them is that I have been a customer of theirs for like 12 or 15 years (I initially went to them based on an AAA recommendation) with several different brands of cars, and they have never disappointed me. This alone should speak volumes about the quality of the work and customer service I have received from them over the years. Victor, Bob, Sal and the guys in the shop always take good care of me. I never hesitate to recommend them to friends and family and nobody that I have referred to Lions have ever been disappointed and all have become converts and long time customers as well.So my recommendation is go to Lions and you wont be disappointed! I brought my 2015 Ford Explorer here to get new brakes and through the process I ended up changing the front rotors, cabin filter and getting an oil change. Towed my car there Thursday evening, filled out form that’s affixed to envelope sealed keys in envelope and dropped it in the “Early Bird”, drop box. They open at 8 and I received a call at 8:10 from Jack requesting more detail about the problem I was experiencing with my car. They set you up on a text service that lets you know the stages your car is in during the repair, they called me soon thereafter and told me what the problem was and how much it was gonna cost & let me just say, I was dreading and anxiously waiting for the “extreme price”. Thankfully the price wasn’t bad at all, VERY REASONABLE (considering everyone I knew guess-timated in the $1000’s), thank you for proving everyone wrong. Price quoted to me was exactly what I paid - no more and no less!!! Picked up my car on Tuesday evening - I’m a happy gal. Thank you Lions Automotive team!!! I was able to get in when I wanted to and as soon as I arrived I was helped politely and promptly by Sal. The owner, Victor happened to be in and so we chatted for awhile. He is extremely professional and kind. Hes been in the auto business for a long time now and enjoys providing outstanding customer service.The waiting room is very neat and clean with a nice variety of magazines and a Keruig. I used their wifi password to get some work done while I was there. The restroom is amazing - very neat in clean! Nothing like Ive ever seen at an auto repair shop.Each oil change took about 30-45 minutes. Upon check out, I was given an prioritized list of other services that were need for my almost 13 year old mini-van. Sal even took a few minutes and looked up some of the prices on the needed services.Lions automotive is a very respectable business and I will continue to bring my cars there for service.

Comment: Took my car into Lions due to check engine light when my car stalled on the freeway. They said it was the cam sensor unit needing replacing and also convinced me to have water pump replaced. Less than 2 weeks later, check engine light went on again, took the car back and they said it was cam sensor unit again (first cam sensor from Honda rarely ever fails, one in a million.) They replaced it at no charge. Less than 2 weeks later engine light went on and car stalled on freeway. Took car into Lions again, now the rocker arm sensor is bad. I paid again to have replaced but later found out from another mechanic they are essentially same unit, and check engine probably kept coming up due to faulty wiring, not units.I feel like I got taken to the cleaners and got a new car to avoid any more issues.

I wanted a second opinion so I took it to the dealer who said it just need a new controller module. They replaced it and the car works great since then. My thought was here I go, will be rip off again! Well, I Meet Victor at Lions & immediately felt better. Victor was great, He took me to the car rental, this was late in the day and they could not get to my vehicle till the next day. Well Victor called the next day said the clutch on my Toyota had a loose connection and was ready to go at a cost of $60.00. The car rental was $24.00 and Victor even took me to the Toyota Museum which I loved.
