I am a Marine Corps Veteran and I am so glad that I found Little Blessings. Everyone there is so welcoming and treat you like family. Its finally a place I can feel at ease and be around people with similiar backgrounds and are non judgemental. Not only has it been great for me, but my family as well.
LBVCO is an amazing community resource for veterans and their families. Executive Director, Jamie Paxton, is a veteran herself, so she knows first hand the difficulties that veterans go through. She utilizes the animals at Duke Farm in the services for veterans, veteran spouses, as well as their children. If you know a veteran family that could benefit from services, reach out to LBVCO. You wont regret it!
The wonderful people at Little Blessings saved my life, literally. Was in a very dark place suffering from ptsd for close to 7 years. I am still currently in thier program and all I can say is while it is a tough program and can be very emotional the benefits have been astronomical. I cant thank them enough and am excited to finish the program.
LBVO is an AMAZING non-profit organization that not only has helped myself but also my entire family! The creation of this organization is truly a God send! Having a safe place for our military family has allowed us to grow and gain confidence as individuals and a family!
As a US Navy Seabee veteran and someone who has been around LB since day one. I can tell you that this organization has changed not only my life, but my families and many of my closet friends. If you’re a Veteran or know of a veteran that is struggling or may just need a little boost PLEASE contact LB and let them help!
This place has changed so many lives and continues to amaze me with all of the work that is being done for the veterans and their families. I have seen it start with a vision that has become a reality and so much more. Not only has it changed many lives it has additionally opened up a door for those to just simply experience what this world has to offer us with nature and the animals. No review can speak to Little Blessings and I am continually grateful for what it has brought to Temperance.

2021-07-18Jamie Paxton, Duke Farms, and everyone involved with LBVCO are the best people I’ve ever met in the veteran community. They care for the all around well being of the veterans in our area and would do anything to support us. I have found the farm brings me a sense of tranquility that I haven’t experienced in a long time! We also participate in the veteran gardens and get to share in delicious vegetables every year. My fiancé and I love LBVCO and Duke Farms so much that we are getting married there in 2 months and are donating all gifts we receive to LBVCO!!

2021-07-18Thank goodness for Little Blessings. I am a civilian with military parent and other family members. I was completely lost and felt a little displaced until I found LB. I am right where I am suppose to be by helping other military kids have a sense of belonging.I have a community that I can rely on and I know always has my 6.

2021-07-19The VFW 2898 Youth Group and I visited Little Blessings at Duke’s Farm and would rate them a perfect 10. Jamie, Joel and everyone involved with helping the area’s veterans and their families is more than commendable. It’s needed and appreciated. I highly recommend getting involved with this organization - we have! Be sure to check out the Warriors Garden too.

2021-07-18I have personally seen how helpful this program is to veterans and their families. My husband and I have come out to the farm and have witnessed how Jamie and her people help veterans with PTSD by using the beautiful horses on the farm through a several step Equine program, along with the help of certified counselors. Little Blessings Outreach Program is an invaluable part of the community! I encourage anyone that has heard of Little Blessings to come out and see how wonderful this program is!

2021-07-18Well what can I say about little blessings veteran and community outreach? 1st everyone is super friendly and eager to converse, 2nd the feeling of love and caring has been outstanding from day one. All we/those who need any help need to do is take the first step and reach out. I haven’t been able to take that step yet but I am a firm believer in what Jamie and this program stands for.For your sake and the sake of your family and loved ones, I beg anyone that needs any support to reach out as soon as you are willing/able for the help they have to offer!!
