Janis helped us purchase our first home, she not only helped us to find the best loaning institution for us but also the right home. She was sensitive to the fact that this was our first time buying and she took the time to help us understand things and she encouraged us to figure out what we could afford each month and to stick to a budget. Making a move, buying a home, or selling a home is a major event in a persons life. But, when you move your family to new community it is even more stressful. Janis and Ed never once viewed my family as clients or customers. They adopted us into their own family and they have been there for us ever since. Janis served as our buyer agent in purchasing vacant lot adjacent to our home. Price came down and we knew we needed to act now if we were to get this land. When contacting Janis, she was on vacation. That did not stop her from writing up a purchase agreement and us electronically signed. By the time she was home from vacation, the deal was done and we closed shortly afterwards. We could not ask for a better experience as we had with Living in Lenawee Realty.

2022-02-10Hello, Im the would have been seller. The buy/sell agreement, signed by, the would have been buyer, states the house is priced and being sold as is. Within a week of the scheduled closing, the sellers agent, Jodi Rupert submits a email listing 1,700.00 of repairs needed to secure the FHA loan. She states the buyer is not able to pay for the repairs. I declined to pay. Janis and her team are awesome and I will definitely use them again and Im sure with a different outcome.

2022-05-19Janis Montalvo and her team went above and beyond in the sale of my parents home. My elderly parents were not ready to move but their health made it impossible for them to live in this big house. Janis was so good with them and meet with them in their new home for all of the paper work including the closing which could have been very difficult. I would recommend living in Lenawee Realty and Janis Montalvo to any one looking to sell their home.

2022-01-14I purchased a condo in Milan from Marc Hernandez in December just as I was leaving for the winter in Florida. I was extremely pleased with how the whole process went, from first viewing to video viewing, to closing quickly and with no fuss. I was in Florida for most of the transactions.I have to give lots of credit to Maria Infusino who I think runs the whole office. 2021-07-23We worked mostly with Janis for selling our current home and buying our new home. Along the way we had the pleasure of working with every member of the team. If Janis wasnt available someone else always was. Janis, Ed, Marc, Cindy, and Grace all do a great job!!! They all made the process stress free as possible for both houses and kept on top of everything to make sure nothing got missed. Highly recommend and great team!!!

2022-02-09Do not do business with this woman, had a house listed that we spent $1,000 on appraisals and inspections just to pull the listing 1 week before closing over a total of $200 in repairs that we even offered to do. This is a terrible woman with a terrible attitude!!
