As a professional pilot eye issues are very concerning. Both Dr.s Kizy and Ellenberg have been excellent to work with throughout my process of getting a retinal detachment fixed and then subsequent cataract removed. Im very appreciative of their expertise and skill.

Dr. Christopher Chow is excellent both in manner and competence. I cant say enough nice things about him. I had two cornea transplants with him. I feel that my results were very good, the best that is humanly possible. The staff at the Southfield office is excellent.
I have had surgery at this center 3 times. Every single time they have run 3-4 hours behind. The last time I was sent home after surgery not even coherent or able to walk. The staff is very nice. But the manager or director needs to be fired.
Wow! They made me feel so comfortable and relaxed that it wasn’t as hard as I thought it was. I got my cataracts done and Dr. Stephen Verb and all the staff made me feel very comfortable and reassuring me that everything was gonna be OK. I would recommend pneumonia and also the Madison Heights office to anybody. This is the most wonderful friendliest place that I have ever gone to. 👍👁

I was impressed how smoothly and efficiently the surgical process went from check in to check out. Once I went back to the surgical area, a team of 2 nurses explained everything, including where to sit on the bed so that when I laid down my head would be just where it should be for the procedure. Everyone has their job to make it all happen and they’re all friendly.
The surgery center staff were super helpful and caring!! I really appreciate their sincere efforts as the eye cataract surgery was being prepared for and afterwards!! Great experience!!

The staff was professional courteous respectful mindful of privacy, doctor Kizi and all the staff made me feel comfortable they were very patient with me because I was nervous my first time having eye surgery. The waiting area was clean and neat.

Very nice people from reception, through registration.,Surgery prep, surgery itself, and recovery.The ONLY negative was what no one had control over: once checked in there was about a 30 minute wait before I was taken for prep. Then after prep, about 70-80 minutes before my surgery. Because of covid: this meant over two and half to three hours of sitting in the car-by the time I was wheeled out. I, of course, was not aware as much of any time. During this the nurses communicated with me kept me comfortable and the front receptionist called my husband to advise of delay. So, handled very well !’
A spontaneous retinal tear resulted in a somewhat emergent need for surgery to repair the tear. Dr. ellenberg and all staff were simply the best!! Caring, calming and did their jobs wonderfully. Should the unfortunate need for an eye surgery present itself, I will not hesitate to come here again. They really are great!

My brother had cataract surgery yesterday. The nurses and doctors were great. He gets very anxious when people talk to quickly and then he cannot comprehend what he is being told. Everyone took the time to talk slowly and explain what was happening. We received a call this morning to check up on him.

The completed eye is crystal clear; the eye still needing surgery is comparatively like looking through a blurry green haze. I can’t wait to have it completed.Everything was done first class and efficiently. I was completely satisfied with the professionalism and personal care of all involved.
I wasn’t sure of what to expect. I didn’t know anyone that had Cataract surgery. The surgery was not painful. Afterwards you use the eyedrops, easy peasy. Professional staff, calming atmosphere, and an excellent Dr. (Dr. Kleinfeldt) highly recommended
I needed to have cataract surgery and I am so grateful to have been referred to OSM. The pre-op visits, actual surgery, after care, doctors & staff were friendly, professional, and did a phenomenal job. So amazing after all my years to be able to see without glasses, now I call that a miracle! Many thanks OSM!
Everyone was kind everything was explained they took very good care of me from beginning to end they answered all my questions from the front reception area to everyone in the back in the surgery area excellent place if you ever have to have surgery on your eyes this is the place to go😁

The visit there showed concern for everyone around if anyone arrived early to wait outside in there vehicles till appt time.Very clean and everyone introduced themselves and what part they played in their assistance to prep you and get you ready for your surgery. Everyone was very pleasant

2022-02-03My eye surgery with Dr Ahmed went great! He is always so pleasant and knowledgeable. The staff are great as well. What could seem to be a scary procedure was handled so professionally from start to finish. I would definitely recommend him to anyone in need of this service.

2022-02-01Everyone was pleasant the location was very clean everything went off in a very professional manner they continuously checked on me let me know that I was alone and that they hadnt forgotten me My surgery went like clock work everybody did their job and I got out of there at a very reasonable time. they made me feel very comfortable any fears that I had was immediately quelled because I knew they were taking good care of me. thank you for doing such a wonderful job my eyes are great in fact theyre better than before thank you

2022-04-05I was so scared about this surgery. I mean its my vision right? But Dr. Verb and all the staff I came into contact with made me feel at ease. I was well informed about everything. My questions were answered so I could understand what was going to happen. I cant say enough kind things. Thank you Dr.Verb, Staff at OSM, and the staff at Livonia Outpatient Surgery you all did amazing job at putting my mind at ease.

2022-06-20The worse sketchy medical place ever! Lets force older patients to pay upfront for procedures that should be billed. On top of it springing it upon the day of surgery! Not professional!Update: Im filing a complaint via the State Attorney Generals office. Sadly citizens of the aging of have very little in the way of advocates. While I understand it takes money for places to stay in business, we are talking about a place that is medical in nature. Its not a restaurant, they obviously bill the insurance companies so why cant they bill the patient? Most seniors are on very limited income. Is this a way of making sure certain patients dont use the facility? Are they being biased against low income patients? Could it be more race based biasing? Regardless of whatever the issue they are doing it against one of the most disregarded group of citizens.Our seniors! I thought in this day and age things like this didnt exist. Well I for one wont stand by and not have them looked into. Everyone should have equal access to good medical care regardless of weather they have big bank accounts or not.Update: Its not true that your surgical center offers billing as an option. The complaint has been filed with the States Attorney Generals office. I dont think a medical place should discriminate our elders based upon income. Its not right and most definitely not fair.

2022-07-08The staff was very upbeat friendly and occasionally humorous. Very much enjoyed being there and interacting with your staff. It is definitely indicative of the management style of the Livonia office. It was apparent that the people were enjoying working there and not because they had to. Overall great great experience.

2022-03-10Everyone I encountered was very professional very nice and very accommodating. Dr. Kizy is very professional and very nice she did a great job on my cataract surgery. I do highly recommend her and this particular location for all your eye care needs.

2022-03-10The front desk, pre-op and post-op staff were excellent! 5stars.During my pre surgery visits Dr. Kleinfelt was only in the room for about 1 minute and didn’t give me any information or explain my options and about what was going to happen during and after the surgery.I was given a packet to read. I felt like a number to him. He didn’t even know my name. He rushed out of the room so fast.The techs were much better and took the time to answer my questions.

2022-03-10I had to go to the Dearborn office for my initial visit. I was super impressed with the friendliness and efficiency of the entire staff. I would have the rest of my visits at the Livonia office. The first surgery went fine. The nurses were so attentive. The anesthesia was fine. The procedure was fast. After my first eye surgery it was like looking out the wrong end of binoculars. It’s been 5 weeks and my distance with that eye is not clear. It is great for computer work but not reading. The second eye is still healing. It was a bit scary. When I came out I could see nothing! The second day my sight was shadowy. And the third day my vision was back. Yay! I’m pleased with the results but never having had to wear glasses all I have to compare it with was my God given vision. Hands down God is the winner! But I’m old and grateful for corrective eye surgeries. Thank you OSM staff and Dr Kleinfeldt.

2022-05-11I had both my Rt & left eyes done. Rt eye now 20/20. Still waiting on left. I am a retired RN & was very comfortable during prepop & surgery. I recommend this place highly.

2022-03-11Cool people. Engaging, welcoming, knowledgeable. I was really afraid but they set my mind at ease, kept me informed and boy are they fast! I was hesitant to have the surgery but Im so very glad I did and glad LOSC did the work. Thanks guys for being understanding, kind and gentle with me. ❤️
