This is our new favorite local place. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. We especially love Yulia and Mirela.Cant go wrong with their daily soup bar. And try the stuffed cabbage. Its my favorite.
Had the veggie burger and some soup. It was ok. Nothing exciting. Its definitely edible, no real complaints but I wouldnt go out of my way to eat here. The staff was friendly.
I just got grilled chicken breast. It was good. Just a little salty for my taste. I got chicken noodle soup (soup comes with meal) and roll. The roll was delicious but the soup was lukewarm.
The waitress that served are table was very nice, but her finger nails were extremely dirty. I was unable to injoy my food, seeing her hand on my plate.
A GREAT value, and delicious options. The place was quiet and I was a bit worried. That is until we got the food. Everything from the soup & salad, to the broasted chicken & ribs, everything was delicious! Worth a try!!!
Food is amazing and service is top notch! I had the House Salad! It was HUGE and filling... literally enough for 2 meals! Delicious! Will be back tomorrow!
1st time here as Livonia Town Grill. Visited here before as House of Leon. My partner andI ordered The Broasted Chicken with the steak fries & an opened chicken sandwich. Food ok.Hostess just threw our menus on table & said here ya go. Waitress might have had too big of a section. They were busy yes but we were in the restaurant about 1 1/2 hrs. Took about 45 minutes to get food. Dont know if i.will eat here again.
I had a salad and soup combo. the soup was from a help yourself bar at the front of the restaurant. It was good soup, but not great. the salad was ok. prices are reasonable
I had the BBQ ribs, chicken, shrimp. So much food after filling up on lemon rice soup and bread. Food was delicious, serving size good, and service was good.

First time there and we ordered a spread of food and everything was so good! You could tell they care about how they make the food. Just like homemade. Not too pricey for what you get. Maybe could use some more waitress help in there but still didnt have to wait too long at all for as short handed as they looked.

Decent food, great waitress
The Greek Chicken Salad was very good. The reason for the low score was the service. The waitress never brought my iced tea, just had her take it off my bill. Never came back to see if everything was okay or if I needed anything. Ive been here several times and always had great service. They need to replace her.

Pretty good food overall. I dont recommend the mashed potatoes as they were a bit rubbery and the gravy wasnt great, but I loved the fries. The fish was great too
First time being there since the change.. the atmosphere is really nice...the waitress didnt seem to attentive..she was very slow moving..the cost of the meal was high but definitely worth it!! Nice place to take the family for breakfast lunch or dinner!

I was standing next to the please wait to be seated sign, and the server sat down at a corner table to eat while I was waiting to be sat. She stared right at me and still decided not to do anything. Its restaurant 101 to not eat while guests are at the host stand, like day 1 of training knowledge... Even an Ill be right with you would have been fine. But, she clearly didnt want my business, so I left.
This place used to be Leons. I find the food to be better under the new name. The service and staff have been and remain great. The prices are very reasonable. The portion sizes are generous. Its definitely worth a visit.

Lemon chicken is my favorite. They have chicken noodle soup every day, other soups change on the day.Good food at a excellent price. Breakfasts are large, cheap and good. Lunches come with all you can eat soup. Dinners come with all you can eat soup AND a salad. A whole bunch of good food at a very reasonable price. Service is good.

This place has a nice selection of foods and a solid quality. When not in a pandemic, that have a breakfast buffet that is a great deal.. they also have a good rotation of soups and specials each day of the week.If your looking for a good family style restaurant, its definitely worth a try!
I couldnt wait to have my cream of broccoli soup, so delicious and after that I fest on chicken wings with barbecue sauce,mash potatoes with gravy and roll. Ii was full oh yes, I had my orange juice. Prices are good.These senior certainly appreciate the kind spirit and attention of the servers to make sure we as are taken of. Will go back again.
Great value and good food. Soup and salad comes with the meals even for take out. Always more than we can eat. Many meals $10 or less. Specials every day and listed on the website. When dining in soup is all you can eat. Rolls too.

Absolutely recommend this dive!! Actually not as much dive as it is a diner with amazing food. The food for the price is a steal WITHOUT question. If you have ever looked at any of my reviews I am nothing but honest. I highly encourage you to try their lunch. We will be back for a dinner one night. I hope I get her name spelled right but Joanna? Was our server and very sweet and deserves a well earned tip! FYI. We had a Reuben and a Crispy Chx caesar wrap both with fries AND and bowl of soup with bread. Also took a home slice of fresh made cherry pie that I have not tried yet. Thank yall and well be back😁
Former employee & frequent guest while in town. Steve & family put out amazing food and always willing to accommodate! Can always count on good quality food.Pork chops are our families personal favorite. Amazing service provided!

The cream of broccoli soup was good. Would be better with oyster crackers and warm bread. The egg white omelet was overcooked. The veal cutlet was bland and dry. Our waitress was delightful. A bit too cool in the restaurant.
Good food But you guys need to start putting more chicken in the chicken soups I mean even campbells has more meat in it and for the price you charge there should be plenty of meat in it anyone can make seasoned noodles in water

My family and I really enjoyed our meals today at the Livonia Grill. The homemade soups were delicious and the club sandwiches were great and the gyros were very good and my avocado salad was delicious 😋
The staff was super nice and the food was amazing. I highly recommend their mushroom Swiss burger, really tasty and a good portion size.
Disappointing, unfortunately we wont be back. This was our second visit, the first was with friends a few weeks ago. They really liked the restaurant so we decided to join them for dinner. I had an omelet, my husband had the chicken and ribs. My omelet was overdone, which was not very appetizing. My husbands ribs were cold and the chicken lukewarm.Service was pleasant, though nothing that made up for the mediocre food.Pricing was reasonable for the amount of food.We decided to give them a second try, just in case the first night was a fluke. Tonights service was ok, again nothing that stands out, other than it took a few minutes for our server to come over to our table.Food tonight was again mediocre at best. My husband choose the lasagne with potatoe soup and a salad. Large piece of lasagne (that was impressive), though he said it was kind of flavorless and definitely lacking something. The potatoe soup was bland and very disappointing. I chose the potatoe skins, thinking it would be almost impossible to mess those up. Think again. The potatoes were old. The texture was off and the potatoe itself was grayish (signs of being cut very early and sitting in the air too long). In addition, they were lukewarm when they were brought to the table.Overall, not a pleasant dinner.
Great food, great service, so very happy they are open to indoor dining. Will continue to go to this eatery for aslong as they are open. Drove 62 miles to eat here, so it is definitely worth it.!!!! Enjoy your meal, certainly did.

The foods great, I love eating here with my family! The girl at front desk is so kind and understanding. I just ordered out thursday night changed my order two times and she wasn’t frustrated she made sure everything was right! They have a great soup bar

Less expensive and better quality than fast food...and all the soup you can eat! this place has great every day fare. excellent prices. dont expect anything fancy but you will be pleasantly surprised when its time to pay the bill. just a warning the bathrooms here are really stinky and can ruin your meal. I recommend using the potty at home before going out to eat here.
Leons provides a great value for your money and food is pretty tasty. Our order took a little longer than promised but it was worth the wait. Definitely one of my familys go to spots.

The staff is super friendly and courteous. Today, I had oral surgery done and the lady at the front desk completely catered to my needs and was able to understand me, without getting frustrated that I could barely talk. Soup is one of my favorites there... never disappointed!

This the 2nd time that Ive had a funeral luncheon here. They performed flawlessly, again. Dont wait until someone dies to eat here. You can experience their genuine hospitality 7 days a week. I would have bumped up this review to 5 stars if the bathroom hadnt been a little gross and the host wasnt rude. Otherwise, the food was tasty and our server was great. I always appreciate a restaurant thats willing to work with me on my food restrictions.

When we need an inexpensive meal out, Leons always comes to mind. Good food in quantities that can feed 2 elderly people from one order, and probably spend less than at Arbys. Nice soup bar. Good, quick service. For breakfast, try Leons family diner across the street.
Sucks that I have to write this review. Only good thing about this place is the prices now. The new girl that works the carry out is very rude. She Wont let you order what you called in for. I used to come here all the time and now when I call I get sighs and rushing off the phone before you can order a 2nd meal. Im think Im done with the rudeness. I wont bring my family back here.
By far the worst place Ive been too to have food. The fish and chips I had was all batter and no fish and was cold to top it off. My daughter loves spaghetti but she spit it out immediately after tasting it. Its like a place for senior citizens that cant have flavor in their food. Just terrible
This was my first time eating at this place today. Did a carry out order. Had a ham and cheese omelette with hash browns with onions. Also had the center cut pork chop dinner. The food was excellent!!!!

Affordable Livonia Jem.Good home style food at very friendly prices and a large menu.We ate dinner with a 4 choice soup bar, large dinner salad and a selection of potatoes for $7.00 - $10.00.We will definitely be back soon!Attentive waitresses, large clean booths and well lit abundant parking.
Dorina went out of her way for me. I told her I had a food allergy. She did everything to insure I didnt get exposed to that food. She was sweet, made sure she returned to check on us. Ive eaten here twice. Both times the food was prepared deliciously. They use real mash potatoes. Salad comes with your dinner. AND, you get the soup bar too! I have tried their potato & chicken noodle so far. Both very good. :-)

We done there often. Great friendly staff, good food, great prices and Wallys carrot cake is the best. Both restraunts on the north side of 7 Mile and the south side are equally the same. I highly recommend them.

The food was good, but the restaurant seemed very tired or worn out. Our server was not very friendly, and did not offer a refill of my pop. She didnt return, once she dropped off the food, until she brought the check. We wont return.

Picked up food last night to last a couple days, fish was like rubber & soup was sour! Trying to give local places business to help in this hard period & get garbage. Afraid to eat the chicken dont need food poisoning. All in the trash. 😪

The first time I had food from this place back in may it was not very good, soup buffet tasted like it came from a can and the chicken and sides were tasteless. Accidentally ordered carry out from here today and nothing has changed. My food clearly wasnt made recently and was missing half the sides described in the menu. I wont be making this mistake again. +2 stars for location and price (although its proportional to the quality)
Prices are great. Menu isnt huge. Portions are perfect. Food is pretty good. My husbands parents enjoy going for lunch they say the senior menu for lunch is great.

Weve always gone for breakfast and thats good food and cheap too. On the other hand there is an older woman who works there who is very rude and impatient. Food is cheap but extremely greasy not worth it for lunch at all. This waitress alone makes me not want to go back ever again.

Grilled porkchops are pretty good and steak (potato wedge) fries are decent. Salads not great but soup bar decent. Little difference between cream of potato, cream of mushroom, and clam chowder.

Maybe not ground-breaking food, but they have an all you can eat soup bar and their food is good portions at low prices. I have been coming here for years, you can always snag a good meal for about $8.
They were able to accommodate our group for father day breakfast. All breakfast chouces were wonderful, hot and very nicely presented.

All the food is fresh and always delicious go at least twice a month and had a problem with food once and it was quickly resolved always soup several choices and rolls which you can help yourself what a great deal. My grandchildren call it the sr citizen deal place.

I started with the lemon rice but could not eat it due to the salt content, it tasted like a leomon flavored salt lick. I ordered the white fish it was almost tastless as if it had been poached, they served a side of green beens on the same plate tasted like plain canned green beens and the amount of liquid with them further ruined the food on the plate. The fish actually tasted more like the green been liquid than fish and the fries absorbed much of the liquid becoming soggy. The cole slaw was good.I will not eat there again.

I am from out of state. First visit here. I had a baked potato and chicken salad/potato soup. Within about 3 hours after eating, I got very sick. Stomach pain and vomiting...

They also have a great selection of homemade desserts! The place is always well kept and clean inside and the food is what you would expect from a local dinner. 2021-12-01I was hired to photograph some menu items. The owner Stephen and his wife have worked here for 22 years and this is where they met. He started as a busboy and moved up to cook then owner about 3 years ago. When Covid struck, all hands on deck and his wife and kids worked hard to keep things going. They owe much of their success to a loyal customer base. Consistency and freshness seems to be their redeeming quality. I had the broasted chicken, avocado salad and apple pie. All were so tasty, filling and fresh.Take a moment to look at these dishes. You can see the tasty dishes for yourself. The prices are very reasonable too. The atmosphere and service is perfect. I highly recommend you stop in here. If I lived in this area, this would be my regular stop.

2022-05-22This place is really Cozy! Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Also if you come in on Sundays THEY HAVE A BREAKFAST BUFFET for 15.99 if Im not mistaken. I ended up just getting a omlette and hashbrowns instead .. I never had hasbrowns made like this... and they taste super good! If you in a area you should legit give it a try :)

2022-04-05This is a fantastic family restaurant! The food is fresh, and delicious, the restaurant is very clean, and the soup bar is a nice touch. You get a lot of great food for the price, who h is hard to find these days! The staff is friendly, and make you feel welcome. I cant wait to try their weekend brunch!

2022-02-272.26.22I have not been to this restaurant for about a year and I did not realize that the name was changed from Leons Family Dining to Livonia Town Grill. I actually drove past the restaurant because I did not know of the name change.I ordered broasted chicken and it was nice and moist. The food was good and so was the service.The waitress recognized my friend and I, and later she mentioned to me that there was always 3 of us in our group but only 2 showed up. I told her that the 3rd person was my sister and that she passed away last year.It was very sweet of her to remember us.I will be returning.

2022-07-07Great dinner selection! I took a chance & got their liver & onions; glad I did. It was delicious.Everyone was happy with their meal. Our server was slow, but it seems everywhere is experiencing the labor shortage. We are glad to have a place to go that is close, & isnt fast food. We will be back for sure.

2022-07-03Since they have changed the name of this place. The Food and Wait Staff, Has sure gone away.I went in today and was told twice the Breakfast Bar was $14.99 and come to find out It was a$1.00 more than I was told.Nothing like being Mislead or Lied to. My Mother and Sister have had BAD MEALS , In the last time we all had Lunch their. To be Honest The Breakfast Bar was O.K. Sure not worth $16.00. I AM TRULY DISAPPOINTED By the Staff and thew Food.I Sincerely Doubt I will be going back anytime soon. Sure need to get the STAFF AND THEIR LIES TOGETHER, Maybe come up with one GOOD LIE BETWEEN ALL THE WAIT STAFF..

2022-04-13We eat there often breakfast, lunch & dinner. Soup & salad is included with most dinners. Also pies & cakes made in house by the owner. The food is delicious and great prices. Friendly servers and great appreciative owners that are always there. Very clean!

2022-05-03Looks nice and... Thats about it. Took 30 minutes to get food and it wasnt good. Omelot wasnt good. The toast was burnt. Hash browns are the shaved kind.. not tasty at all. Bacon was most likely easy bacon. Would not recommend
